Odalia was secretly furious about having to deal with more of her daughter, one Amity was enough for her to deal with, but an entire village of her daughter? This is going to be a long effort to get rid of all the clones. As she looked out the window, she looked at the large, massive crowd of Amity Blight Clones, it was like looking at a packed stadium.
"Mom, I'm sure Luz and Eda could solve this problem soon enough. They're probably already doing some sort of research!" A clone of her daughter was trying to cheer her up, but she didn't appreciate her optimism.
"Oh please, if they were that capable, why haven't they solved this? Why are we dealing with them?" She snapped, turning back from the window, now looking at her daughter. "I don't have time for your childish nonsense Amity! This isn't some kind of prank or something." She crossed her arms in annoyance.
"I know, Mom. It's not like I meant to fell into that Duplication Goo on purpose!" The clone said, before 2 more Amities approached the two.
"I mean with more of us, maybe you might be able to do great things that the blights could not do." An Amity said.
"One Amity is enough for all of us to handle." Odalia said, sternly. "Maybe two to seven. But a whole village is insane! Even for the Blights!" One more clone came closer to her.
"Then you're probably not gonna like the fact that there are Amity clones that think they're the real Amity Blight." She said, making her way to the window as well.
Downstairs, the clones were beginning to complain at each other in hushed voices. Eda was about getting fed up with this many Amity Blight clones, she hated it!
"She started it!" An Amity shouted.
"Well, she's just as bad." Another one said. "If she doesn't stop messing around then she'll end up hurting somebody!"
"You know, Eda, maybe we should find a way to get the clones to calm down." Luz said, worried as she walked through the crowd in the house where the clones were the most crowded.
"I could sing them a song!" Hooty smiled. "That would cheer them up."
"No, Hooty." Eda said. "Haven't you learned anything from last time you annoyed her?"
"Nope!" Hooty laughed.
"Of course, you didn't." Luz groaned. The sound of clattering could be heard from the kitchen, followed by loud cursing.
"Ow! That was my finger!" An Amity yelled. Everyone in the room turned towards the door where they could hear muffled cursing and swearing from Amitys.
"Great, I was going to have something to snack on, so thanks." An Amity sarcastically comments as she looks at the mess pile of food that used to contain some chips and some berries.
Eda sighed heavily. "Okay, everyone out." Everyone began to shuffle slowly toward the door, except for Luz who was too embarrassed to move at the sight of dozens of Amity clones.
"If you'd like, got some snacks you can share with me!" Hooty smiled as he stretched to the Amitys, annoying them, a few of them started to attack the Owl creature. Before he knew it, Hooty found himself being attacked by a few Amity clones.
Luz watched in horror as one of the Amities ambushed Hooty, she should try to get involved like last time, but since there are more Amity clones, she might be caught in the crossfire of it all. The only thing keeping her grounded was Hooty yelling loudly, even though he's surrounded by Amity clones.
As soon as everything calmed down enough for Amitys to stop attacking him, the Owl creature ran back to Eda and Luz, panting, shaking his head, feathers ruffling.
"Sheesh, it was just a suggestion." Hooty said, glaring at the clones. "Ow! Hoot!"
"If that bird tube talks to us again, we will gut it like a flying fish." An Amity said, annoyed. The other Amity clones agreed frustratedly. Luz noticed that a lot of the clones seemed angry. Like really angry.
Elsewhere, the Leading Amity Clone was with her group of clones, keeping a few hundred of them close to her, going to the Owl House to get what they needed. It wasn't until the leader had gotten inside with her group of clones that they stopped.
"Alright, we're here." The Leading Amity Clone stated. "Now look around for any magic you might find."
Her group of clones broke off into groups and looked around the house for any forbidden magic. After a while they went into different rooms, the lead Amity clone went with her clones everywhere, from Eda's bathroom to Eda's Nesting Room to the basement, to even King's Room full of plushies. Nothing yet.
As an Amity clone dug through the pile of plushies, the Leading Amity clone groaned, snapping, "What's it gonna take to find some of Edalyn's dark forbidden magic to rule the Boiling Isles with an Iron Fist?" The Leading Amity Clone crossed her arms, a fellow Amity grabbed a Teddy Bear with a pull-string and looked around some more while pulling the string again, making the bear say, "Friendship is the key to true trust."
The Leading Amity Clone then found 2 Amity Clones in a pile of plush animals, still digging through the pile, but it was obvious that they fell into the pile by accident judging by their giggling, much to her annoyance. She walked over to them, giving each a push. "Get up, you two! We need to keep searching."
"It doesn't matter what I find, I'm sure it won't be good." One Amity sighed.
"Yeah, that one won't even listen to me," The other added, sighing. The leading Amity clone rolled her eyes, they both continued to search the pile.
They found a stuffed duck under the couch; the Duck had a pink bow tied around it's neck. The Leading Amity clone took the Duck and tossed it over her shoulder. "This isn't going to be easy…."
After a while, the Lead Amity clone was done with her search and called her group together, "Alright, let's go see what else we can find here."
"Wait, we found a bag with some spells in here!" An Amity said, smirking as she said the aforementioned bag. The leading Amity clone opened it to look for the spells, and she struck gold! She found Eda's Dark Magic Spell Book!
"Finally!" The leading Amity exclaimed, opening the book to look at the spells that she could use.
"Dark Spells are tricky to learn, especially when you don't know how to use the book, so this may be our best bet to break the curse on the island." She explained, closing Eda's Spell Book, but before she could leave with it, two Amity Clones grabbed her wrist, and the others tried to grab her book.
"What are you guys doing?! Don't touch my book!" The Lead Amity clone said angrily. The clones backed off slightly.
"Uh, what are you gonna do with your 'Dark Spells'?" One of the Amity Clones asked, confused.
"Don't worry about that right now!" The Lead Amity clone said, before leaving as she was holding the Dark Spells. As she left, her group of Amity's gave each other concerned glances before walking away, and once the leading Amity clone had left, they immediately started searching for the Dark Spells again.
