A/N: Sorry, I thought I could get this out last week and normally these chapters are easier to write but this one took a little bit. Thank you to everyone who has written me a review and followed the story. It is really appreciated.

As Santana said I did not hear from her for days. It was now Friday and so far, nothing. I have really missed talking to her already, it feels like a part of me that I just found is missing. Sugar and I were finishing up Cheerios practice and everyone was waving goodbye since it was finally Friday.

"Let's party!" Sugar bounced around me waving her arms out in the air. I giggled along and shimmied my hips as we start a mini dance party in the parking lot by my car. Noone paid us any attention because this was normal antics between Sugar and me.

I was actually looking forward to a night out since school has been stressful this week and Puck has been a pain in my ass. Not only do people actually believe he is my soulmate and we hooked up, but he has been pestering me constantly.

"What are you girls going on about? Is there a party?" A junior named Ally came over to us along with a few others after seeing us celebrate. The Cheerios usually party together so it is not surprising that she wants to know where the party is.

Sugar put her hand on Ally's shoulder. "Sorry girly, we are going to a club tonight." The four girls looked at us hopefully. "I think some glee clubber named Artie is having a party though go check that out."

They then look at me with the same pout. I just shrug. "Sorry girls we can only get a few of us in."

"I bet Puck is going." Bianca leaned in and whispered loudly.

"What the fuck is all this shit about Puck, we are not a thing and will not be a thing ever!" I finally lose it after hearing this so many times this week. They all backed up with wide eyes and scurried to the locker room.

I run my hands through my hair frustrated. I hate all the rumors. We kissed that was it yet according to the whole school we are together and hooking up between classes.

"Let's just get out of here." I say.

"Hey, hey, I want to see all smiles. We are going to have fun tonight. Yeah?" Sugar wraps her arm around me leading us to my car so we can get ready at my house.

"Yeah." I look down. I really need a break so I am excited to see what this night will bring.

Sugar and I got ready at my house then we went to pick up Mike. I am wearing a blue short tight dress and Sugar is wearing a gold dress that is a little flowy around the knees. Mike looks very nice in a black button up shirt and gray wash jeans. I find a place to park outside of the club and we pile out of the car. There is a line outside of the club and I go to stand at the back when Sugar grabs my arm and pulls me to the front. The bouncer looks at us slowly from top to bottom. Sugar wraps her arm around my waist.

"Hey." She bats her eyes at the big buff bouncer. "We are supposed to meet a guy named Scott here."

They guy barely bats an eye. "Get in line." He nods to the long line.

"I don't think you heard me. The guy's name is Scott and he said he knows you."

"I know a lot of people honey now get in line."

Sugar huffs and looks down at her phone typing furiously.

"Hey Clint, they are with me." I look up as I hear a raspy voice that can only belong to one person. My tingles in my wrist are another indication of who it is.

Santana comes walking up behind us in a short black tight dress that leaves little to the imagination. She strides up to the bouncer with Sam in tow. She throws a wink at me before she passes as the bouncer lifts the rope.

Oh, does that stupid wink make me feel things that I can't help but to feel.

The bouncer grunts then says "Go on in." to Sugar, Mike, and me.

We quickly scurry through the rope following behind Santana and Sam.

I take in the surroundings there is a large dance floor where people are already dancing to the music being played. There are tables and cushion seats off to one side and a large bar to the other. Santana is walking through the crowd of people as they part for her to a sitting area. As she sits down completely forgetting about Sam, she stares at me as if requesting me to follow her. I feel hypnotized as I let my legs lead me her way. Before I can make my way over to talk to her Sugar is dragging me towards the bar. Mike just happily follows along.

"Hey, I was going to thank Santana for getting us in."

"Ughuh thank her. Don't you see if you go over to her now you are just going to feel like a third wheel her boyfriend is here." Sugar says.

I sneak a peek at the table I saw Santana sitting at and sure enough her and Sam are already lip locked. I roll my eyes as I feel my heart plummeting. Common heart she has already told us we have no shot let's please get over her.

"Six tequila shots." Sugar proclaims putting down way too much money on the bar. The bartender's eyes look like they are about to pop out as he quickly gets to work.

"So, what happened with that Scott guy?" Mike asked because that was supposed to be our ticket in.

"Apparently he got kicked out last week and didn't tell me he was banned."

"Well then what the hell was he thinking?" I ask with a laugh.

"He apparently thought that they would have gotten over it by now and were going to let him back in." Sugar rolls her eyes and shrugs. "Oh well it is the three amigos so we know we will have fun."

We lifted up our first shot cheers to the three amigos. The shot burned going down and with no salt or lime it really sucked. We quickly took our second one and headed to the dance floor as we felt the alcohol flow through us.

Mike of course grabbed me by my waist and became my dance partner. We have similar skills and people were really watching us as we moved effortlessly to the music. Sugar found a guy to dance with right away.

We danced for a few songs, and I was enjoying the tingly feeling from the alcohol and from Santana being near, I will never get used to that tingle, getting lost in the music when I heard someone ask Mike if she could cut in.

I felt fingertips ghost on my waist, no tingles, and lips close to my ear.

"It is nice to see you again Brittany."

I tilt my head to the side to get a look at her and I am hit with striking green eyes. I spin around in her arms to get a better look at her, and she has a big smile on her face.

"Skylar." I smile back. "It is nice to see you too." I catch a little blush on her cheeks as she tilts her head down shyly.

With the liquid courage I had I put my finger under her chin and tilt her head so I could look into her beautiful green eyes.

"I am really happy to see you again." I let her know as we continue to dance. I start to show off a little with my dance moves and she watches captivated. I also seem to be forming a little crowd. She spins me around till my back is to her front and I grind on her. After the song is over, she leans over and whispers in my ear if I would like a drink. I nod and she takes my hand and leads me to the bar.

We hung out at the bar for a while talking and getting to know each other. I found out that she is a freshman in college, 18 years old. She was able to get into the club with her fake id that says she is 21, and that she is studying to be a veterinarian. I also found out that she is from Chicago and wanted to move out of the bustling city and try to see what small town life is like. She is also single.

"Cool tat." She reaches down and runs her finger over my wrist.

My cheeks turn a dark red as she touches my mark. For some strange reason my arm starts to tingle. Maybe I can get the tingles from other people if I try to give them a chance.

"What does it mean?" She looks up at me through her lashes and my chest tightens.

"That she is my soulmate." A husky voice breaks in as she leans against the bar next to me. Well, that explains where the tingles came from.

Skylar looks over to Santana confused. Santana rolls her eyes and reaches her left wrist dropping it loudly on the bar right next to us on full display. She then undoes her band showing her own mark.

"What do you mean soulmate?"

"As in we will always be connected." Santana glares at Skylar.

"Oh, so are you two like dating and got matching tattoos?" I can tell Skylar is confused and trying to understand.

Skylar looks closely at Santana's wrist to see that it is the exact same mark as on mine with the B and the S.

"No, we are not dating." I say quickly and see Santana huff. "She has a boyfriend and we never dated. We officially met last weekend."

I realize quickly that this is not helping me ease the other girl's nerves because it even sounds crazy coming out of my mouth. Skylar is even starting to look at us like we are crazy.

"That doesn't look like a fresh tattoo. I guess I am confused, and it is not making sense." Skylar says, trying to make sense of everything.

Santana gets the two drinks she ordered and sips from one, seeming to enjoy me being flustered trying to explain this to a girl that I am interested in.

Santana's full lips turn up in a smile with what she says next. "We got them when we were 6."

Skylar's face looks completely shocked with her mouth open and it looks like Santana is about to start laughing. I turn to her furrowing my eyebrows. "Don't you have to get back to Sam." I point out.

She shrugs her shoulders and doesn't budge and even has the audacity to lean more comfortably against the bar. She is clearly more entertained with what is going on here and how I will get this all sorted.

"So, wait." Skylar puts her hand up to her forehead. "You have had a tattoo since you were 6 and you both have the same one but didn't meet officially until last weekend. You both are not dating and you." She points to Santana. "Have a boyfriend."

Santana, clearly enjoying this, smirks and takes another sip from her drink. I just nod my head dumbly.

"Okay. Well, there seems to be a lot more to this than we could discuss in a bar." Skylar nods her head and runs her fingers through her hair. She looks like she is thinking of something. "So, if I were to like, ask you out on a date." She shrugs her shoulders looking at me. "There would be like no competition with her right." She looks at Santana now.

I hear Santana splutter behind me and start to hit her chest. I just shake my head kind of shocked because is she for real even after all the crazy stuff that surrounds my life.

Skylar nods her head. "So, ugh Brittany would you like to go out on a date with me and you can explain your whole story because I am very interested." She smiles at me hopeful, and she is so cute.

"Y-yeah I think I would like that."

"Cool, can I see your phone so I can give you my number and we can set everything up." I reach in my purse and pull out my phone still in shock at what is happening right now. I hand my phone over and still hear Santana hacking behind me, so I reach over and pat her on the back to help her out.

Skylar hands me back my phone. "Well, it was nice meeting you again Brittany, but I have to get going. I can wait for our date." She leans over and kisses my cheek softly then she disappears into the crowd.

I turn to look at Santana now since it is just us and her brows are furrowed, and her cheeks are red from coughing. She looks at her second drink which she starts to drink.

"Hey, did you see that? I have a date." I do a little happy shimmy.

"Yeah, I am so proud of you Britt." She says in gritted teeth. "You have a date with a girl who totally thinks that you got matching tattoos when you were 6 years old with me. The girl seems weird. I think you can do better. Wait till you tell her the whole truth about how our marks just appeared on our arms."

"Well San." I turn to look at her fully leaning closer to her so we can still hear over the music. "Sam was apparently okay with everything, maybe Skylar will be too. I mean she is right it's not like you and I will be together anyways you have made that clear. We both agreed I should start looking for someone too."

"I'm just saying she will probably always be intimidated by me because of our marks and how hot I am. We have our connection and it's not like we will stop being friends."

"Well as I just said San you have Sam and there seems to be no problem there, right? I mean if you can have a relationship that seems to be working, so should I."

Santana looks deep into my eyes and once again I feel the pull, I always get with her. It is so hard being this close and not touching. I almost feel us leaning in naturally.

She then shakes her head and looks back at the bar mumbling something. I lean closer to her so that I can hear her better.

"What?" I ask.

Softly she says. "Sam doesn't know." I look at her in shock. My eyes probably look like they have popped out.

"What?" She looks at me absurd.

"I said Sam doesn't know." She repeats. "About any of it."

"How? You have a big mark on your wrist." I point out looking at her still uncovered wrist. She quickly puts her band back on.

"No one I know knows about it but my mom."

That is the opposite of me. Almost everyone knows about my mark because I have blurted it everywhere I have gone since I found out what it was.

"How long have you two even been together?"

She shrugs again as she looks at the bar. "Three years."

And of course, I just had to take a drink at the time she answered because I sprayed it all over the bar. The bartender gives me an evil look as I quickly garb napkins and quickly whip it up saying sorry as I do so.

"What the fuck Santana you have been with him for three years and he doesn't know anything?"

"Well Brittany how the hell am I supposed to just tell him oh hey I know we have been together for a while, but I do have a soulmate already that I never even met. Oh, and you know the blond girl who I talked to last week. That was her we just met at a cheer competition and haven't seen each other since we were 6 and were marked. To even make it better, Sam, there is a connection that we both feel and are pulled together biologically." I can tell she is getting very defensive and frustrated and she is not done yet. "Oh, but don't worry Sam nothing is going on I just feel crazy all the time and she is also the reason I have almost gotten kicked out of school because I am so fucking worried about her all the time. How the hell do you think he would take that Brittany." She is glaring at me now.

I have no idea what to say because Santana never really has told me how she has felt about everything and now it seems to have bubbled all out. I decide that is enough drama for the day, so I stand up. Santana is watching me closely, all worried like I will just walk away from her after the explosion.

"Want to go dance?" I ask her holding out my hand. She looks surprised but grabs my hand quickly.

I lead us out to the dance floor, and we start to dance with each other. It is a slower song, so I just hold her as we sway. We enjoy the close feeling of being connected. It feels so right just holding her in my arms and I feel her relax and rest her head on my shoulder. It is almost like I can feel her whole body relax and let go.

"Since I met you, I have no idea where my head is at." She says as we continue our dance. "I am always worried about you and what you are doing." She lifts her head and looks me in the eyes. "I came here tonight hoping we could hang out."

"I just don't understand San you say you feel the connection like I do why can't we just be together then? Why not just forget all this crap about dating other people and do what our mark says and be together?"

"I already told you Brittany I can't be with you. I have Sam..." At this she looks away like it pains her to make eye contact right now.

"Who you haven't been truthful to, and it seems like you don't want me to see anyone." I mumble barley audible.

She shrugs. "I didn't say that." she says back quickly. "I just think you can do better. I have been truthful to Sam. I just haven't told him about the mark or showed him."

"How have you not shown him, haven't you two been intimate? Isn't he curious as to why you keep your band on?" I reach down and touch her wrist. It comforts me even though I feel like I could throw up thinking about Sam and Santana being intimate.

She rolls her eyes at me. "Of course, we have been 'intimate'. I just keep my band on, and he does not question me." It seems like she has something else on her mind and even though the music has switched to a quicker beat we are still just holding each other close swaying to our own music. I wait for her to tell me what is on her mind. "I am just worried, this Skylar girl she probably just wants to sleep with you, and what kind of weirdo goes out with someone else soulmate. I clearly told her you were my soulmate."

"Well, I don't know what to tell you San I am going to go on a date with Skylar and you can't be a jealous girlfriend because you don't want to be my girlfriend so you can't be jealous."

I am about to walk away when she links her fingers into mine trying to pull me back. I look at her pleading eyes just as Sam comes up behind her and kisses her neck in greeting. I shake my head and pull my hand harder. She releases my fingers and I make my way back over to the bar and spy Sugar. I slide right next to her, and she smiles at me.

"Well that all looked like fun. I was watching you dance with that hot girl earlier." She wiggles her brows. "You should have seen the death glares your 'soulmate' was giving you and the girl. It was so funny I just posted up over here with Mike. I just wish I had popcorn to watch the show."

I just hang my head. I have never really had to deal with this sort of drama before. I never did relationships. I was always just waiting to meet Santana again and be with her. I never would have expected my own soulmate would have a boyfriend and refuse to be with me.

"Common girl, take a break from all that drama. Hey barkeep, one more over here!" Sugar yelled to the bartender who noticed me again and gave me the evil eye which made me shrink away. The bartender gave us our drinks and I swear I saw him point both fingers to his eyes and point them back at me. Sugar again tipped heavily. We finished our drink watching the dancefloor. My eyes kept searching for Santana and when I would notice I quickly looked elsewhere.

Once we were done and I was feeling more relaxed Sugar took me to the dancefloor where we spotted Mike dancing with a pretty redhead girl. When he noticed us, he left her and made his way over. The three amigos danced for three more songs. I was doing some great hairography and gaining a crowd and Mike tried to copy me with his short hair. We were laughing and having a great time drama free. When we decided it was time to head out the doors hanging onto each other. I love my friends.

We hear a commotion on the sidewalk as we walk to the curb.

"I just don't understand San why it always seems to revolve around that girl nowadays. You don't even know her. Our entire time being together you never mentioned her then you had a talk with her last week and now it is like your whole universe revolves around her. Is that why we came here tonight because of her? Because I can tell you when we got here, I was shocked to see her since you pretty much begged me to come here tonight when I just wanted to hang out at your empty house with you. You barely even talked to me when we were here, you just kept staring at her." He ran his hands through his hair. "I am just so confused. Help me understand San."

We walked past them to get in our Uber Sugar got us since we cannot drive in our state. Sam sees us and barrels over to me.

"What is the deal with you and Santana?" I can tell right away he is drunk and very upset. "Are you trying to steal her away because I won't let you. She is mine and she doesn't like girls, you are just confusing her." He is getting in my face.

"I'm not doing anything." I try to calm him down. "I think this is between you two and you need to go talk this out somewhere else." I am not an angry drunk, so I just smile at him reassuringly and pat his shoulder. I guess that was not the right move because he seems to have gotten even angrier. He pushes my arm away and gets closer to me.

"You think this is funny!" He puffs up his chest.

"Hey, you need to back off man." Mike steps up and I think it is so cute because he is not a fighter. I started laughing because Mike couldn't hurt a fly even if he tried.

"Stop laughing!" Sam yells around Mike. "Why has Santana become obsessed with you! She doesn't normally like anyone!"

Santana finally makes her way over. "You need to go home Sam. We will talk later." She pulls his arm away and he huffs and storms off.

"Sorry you guys." She looks down at her shoes.

Mike looks at her seriously. "He doesn't know who Brittany is to you." He says seriously.

She shakes her head. "You might need to explain to him." Mike says it like it is the obvious thing to do.

She looks scared. "I can't."

"I'm sure he would understand." Mike says.

"I don't care if he understands or not." She says shortly. "I have to get him and get him home. It was nice seeing you guys."

She turns to walk away.

"Hey San..."

She turns to look at me. "Let me know when you get home safe." I tell her. She is right, there is a weird protectiveness that I feel over her.

"You too." She winks and just like that she is off disappearing into the night. Making my heart speed just by that one wink.
