Izuku lifted his hands from his covered eyes as he watched the world blur past him in awe. A looked around at the blurring landscape in wonder now that he had exited the ole. He looked down, shocked to see how fast his feet were moving to run him along as such speeds! He began to laugh a bit.

"Th-This is incredible! I-I'm not even using One for All, how is this possible!" His thoughts were cut off by a blue blur speeding right up next to him. It was Sonic! He was moving at this kind of speed flawlessly. He pointed ahead looking worried.

"WALL!"

"Huh."

"WALL!"

Then it hit him. Sonic made a dead stop, and winced at the bunny slamming into the wall, and then sliding down slowly.

"Yeesh. You're gonna have to work on that reaction time." Sonic thought to himself. He helped Izuku up and directed him to a big red spring, giving him a determined look as he suggested for them to continue. Izuku smirked at him and nodded. They zoomed off and jumped off the spring ascending through the area.

It was through the journey that Izuku learned about some incredible things!

Rings for one, were some sort of energy construct made from a latent energy in the area. Sonic even demonstrated that they had two great types of use! Excluding currency. One, they could act as damage buffers, taking a hard blow for their holder before being flung from the weirder and destabilizing which makes them fade away. Two as a power amplifier! Sonic couldn't explain it, but he could draw from the ring's energy which would amplify his own for a short time! Izuku has tried this himself but made no progress yet, only causing a few golden sparks to fly. But Izuku did theorize that using multiple rings at once would give a greater boost, and extend its usage period.

Then there was monitors. Computer-like boxes that could house objects within. Things like rings, elemental, and invincibility shields, even shoes that increased traction and let him and Sonic run much faster! Sonic told him that this 'Dr. Robotnik' made them for his robotic troops to use. Thankfully, they all seemed too dense to use them.

They stopped their travel when they came across a sign post. On the sign itself it said 'PAST'. Sonic stopped Izuku before he could pass it.

"Woah! Careful! These thing can send you through time on Little Planet!" Izuku's head turned to snap right to looking at Sonic. He asked for him to reaffirm what he just said. This normally would've sent Izuku into a a muttering tangent, but as soon as he tried?

COUGH COUGH HACK COUGH COUGH COUGH

Sonic was already having to pat Izuku on the back as he coughed heavily from choking on undeveloped vocal cords.

"Dude. Stop trying to talk, you're literally going to kill yourself." Sonic said with a good hint of sass. Izuku weakly nodded. Izuku looked back up at the post again, and noticed something strange. The post now said "ALTER", and it was starting to spin fast. Izuku pointed at it and sonic saw what he meant. He was completely confused; he'd never seen a time-travel post do this before. Then a set of sparkles began to appear, hovering above the post. Then a pink blur shot out, and hit Izuku.

Izuku groaned in pain as he had to roll someone off of him. He got up and dusted himself off, and looked at Sonic in case he had anything to say. Which he did.

"Friend of yours? Cuz that ain't Amy." Izuku looked at the new person who was laid out on the floor, and quickly recognized who it was. She had a stumpy body like Izuku, and slick pink fur on her muzzle and belly. The rest of her had a lighter pink coloration including her hair. She had rounded ears, and a tail like an otter. But most importantly, she had two curved little yellow horns.

"MINA!" Izuku knelt down beside her and quickly began trying to shake her awake. The girl-turned-walking otter made incoherent noises as she was shaken, being brought to oconsciousness more and more with each jostle. The otter's eyes snapped awake at once as she whirled her head around in a panic, making cute little noises of confusion. Her eyes focused forward on Izuku, where it took a second to recognize the boy as such, and once she did:

"IH-"

COUGHCOUGHCOUGHCOUGH

Izuku waggled a finger in front of her and began to convey a message.

"Can't talk yet, so try not to a lot. Just think of what you want to say and gesture it."

The pink otter was still confused and tried to talk again, spurring another coughing fit. Izuku signed for her to just stop talking, for the sake of her throat. The pink otter obliged to stop talking but flailed her arms around in a panic with her mouth open which broadcasted a loud

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

Izuku just closed his eyes and held a hand up to her to get her to stop.

"It's a long story, but right now we're after a kidnapper! I can explain along the way!" Izuku said as he helped the otter to her feet. Mina took a second to take in a deep breath and calm down, then looked at Izuku and smiled.

"A-All right then! Where are we headed!" She said through a smile.

"This way!" Sonic said, making himself known to her.

"AAAAA-"

After long run of introducing Mina to things, destroying robots, where Sonic learned about Mina's "Way past cool!" acidic abilities, and explaining how things worked, the newcomers found themselves at a peculiar place. A sign post. Right now it held Robotnik's face.

"Hey, check this out. Run past this thing with me!" Sonic said, taking the hands of the pink otter and green rabbit. The obliged as they ran past the sign with the blue blur. This made the sign start spinning rapidly, and when it stopped, it landed on a picture of Sonic, Izuku and Mina flashing a peach's sign and smiling with pride. Mina watched in awe with Sonic feeling pretty smug with himself about being able to show them something that would blow them away like this. Meanwhile Izuku tried to mutter about the physics of the sign post and started another coughing fit.
