I'm so sorry for the late update. I have been busy (from college to my grandmother, whom I was close with, passing away), and when I did have time to type I had major writers block. Thank you so much for you patience for this chapter and I will try harder to update faster in the future.

It was a typical morning for everyone waking up at the Gardner house. The males of the house were still stumbling around the house trying to wake up, while Eli and Kyler were cleaning up the kitchen from breakfast. Joey and Tristan were getting dressed for school while complaining that they still had to go to school while the kids staying at the Gardner house were staying home that day. Tea assured them that they were taking the day off. The girls were getting the nursery and everything ready then go get Melody from the hospital. The boys were helping Atem, who was also staying home from school, move from the Moto shop to the new house that Atem's father bought 3 days ago. After being revived, Atem's father became the head of the history museum in Domino, with a little help from the Ishtars. Both Mahad and Mana were hired as tour guides, so they could help with the house payments if necessary. After breakfast was finished, everyone started heading to their rooms to finish getting dressed for the day. Tea was in the her bedroom siting at her mirror brushing her hair, and Akiza was sitting on Tea's bed.
"You're in a good mood today?" Akiza said looking at Tea. For the past five minutes, Tea has been doing nothing but brushing her hair and humming. Tea stopped what she was doing, and turned to Akiza.
"I guess so. I had a nice chat with Atem at the hospital and on the car ride home. If... when the adoption happens Atem is going to be there every step of the way. It turns out that his dad has been trying to get us together for a while now." Akiza giggled.
"I'm not all that surprised. You two make a good couple." Akiza got up and started walking towards the bathroom. Suddenly, she stopped at the door and turned toward Tea.
"Should I do something with my hair today? What suits me better?" Tea gave her a knowing look. Akiza walked into the bathroom, and Tea followed her. Akiza started to brushing her hair.
"Ok, spill it. What happened between you and Yusei?" Akiza was shocked when the question was asked. She didn't even noticed that the brush slipped out of her hand.
BANG!
The brush landed harshly onto the sink, then bounced to the floor.
"Nothing... why?" Akiza had a blush on her face, suddenly there was rapid knocking at the door. Tea went to open the door only to find Yusei in his riding jeans... and no shirt(1). Yusei looked panic, and was breathing heavily as if he ran all the way to the room.
"What happened? I heard a loud bang." Tea giggled.
"Yeah I dropped my hair brush, and couldn't catch it in time... hey its just us here I have a quick question if you don't mind answering it?" Yusei gave her a curious look.
"Sure what is it?"
"What do you think of Akiza?" Yusei instantly coughed on air not excepting the question.
"Wha-What do you mean?" Akiza came out of the bathroom, and caught Tea's question. Before Akiza had a chance to ask Tea what she was up to, Tea cut her off by continuing to talk to Yusei.
"I mean, do you like Akiza? More than a friend? As a friend? ... here describe her to me as if I haven't met her yet." Yusei gave her a questioning look.
"Why so interested in me and Akiza?" (2)
"Because" Tea didn't continue.
"That's not an answer." Tea didn't answer, she just gave him a look that said 'just-do-it" Yusei just gave out a sigh.
"Ok. Ok. Akiza- she's" Akiza was hiding behind the door at this point.
"She is amazing, beautiful, smart, creative, and when I think about her I just can't stop smiling." Tea leaned on the door frame.
"See that wasn't so hard, was it?"
"No it wasn't... you can't tell her I said that." Tea gave Yusei an exhausted look.
"Look to the outside world, your my "long-lost brother" and I have actually started looking at you like one... and besides you texted Atem on my phone regarded the mating ritual, and I want to return the favor. I won't tell Akiza about how much you love her-"
"How do you do know I love her?" Akiza looked shocked when he asked that.
"You give the same I give to Atem... besides I don't have to tell her." Tea reached behind the door, grabbed Akiza, and shoved her into Yusei.
"You already told her. Go finish this conversation in the music room." Tea quickly shut the door and locked it so Akiza wouldn't come back in. Tea giggle when a thought occurred to her. She quickly opened the door and stuck her head out.
"Akiza. I want details later." then shut the door, and locked it. She finally sighed when suddenly she felt like something was wrong... and it was coming from outside. Tea quickly dove for the window, and when she looked out she saw nothing.
'I thought there was something there, but I guess I was just being paranoid.' as she turned away and went farther into her room to finish getting ready Sayer came out the shadows.
'That was close. Marco wasn't kidding about her senses... Marco better hope that his stupid plan of his works cause if it doesn't he'll be hearing about it from me.' Sayer laughed his sinister laugh as he slipped back into the darkness.
Yusei looked down to find Akiza blushing at the fact that he had no shirt.
"You ok?" Akiza instantly snapping out of it when Yusei asked his question, and stood straight up. Akiza nodded.
"Good. Let's go... I don't want Tea to open the door and find us still standing here." Akiza said nothing, but giggled as she followed Yusei to the music room. When they were both in there, Yusei shut the door and locked it so no one would interrupt them.
"Did you mean what you said to Tea?... all of it?" Akiza asked while playing with the piano keys.
"Yes I did... and to be honest I'm glad it came out that way... I'm not very good at talking about this, so that made it easier." Yusei walked over to Akiza and gently grabbed her hands, which caused her to look at him.
"Akiza... I love you. Ever since I first saw you." Akiza smiled.
"I love you too, Yusei Fudo." Yusei noticed something on the piano.
"A Thousand Years." Akiza looked confused.
"What?" Yusei reached for the sheet music.
"Atem and Tea had a moment at this piano... and here we are at the piano having a moment... how about we seal it with a song?" Akiza smiled and then sat down at the seat in front of the piano. Yusei followed and started to warm up, and Akiza just watched in amazement.
"I thought you didn't play." Yusei smiled as he continue to play the piano.
"I use to when I was kid. Martha found an old piano in a junk yard, and brought it home. It took a while to fix, but I managed. When I did play, it was very relaxing." After the warm-up, he started to play the beginning notes to the song. Akiza started off when it was time to sing.

Yusei smiled when he heard Akiza singing.

Akiza leaned into Yusei as he started to sing his part.

As the chorus hit again, the two love birds started to stare into each others eyes. When it was time they started to sing at the same time.

Yusei closed his eyes as he heard Akiza started the chorus again.

As the song came to a close, the two came closer and came in for a perfect kiss. When they pulled away, the placed their foreheads together.
Atem walked in the outside garden hand-and-hand with Tea, as they are discussing their plans for the day.
"My father can't wait to see Melody. Yusei and I will be at the new house unpacking everything that Jack, Crow, Eli and Kyler bring over from the shop, so that way when my father gets home from work he won't have to worry about anything except for his new granddaughter." Tea giggled at that.
"Are you sure that you and Yusei don't need any help?" Atem smiled.
"No, just focus on getting the room ready for Melody." Tea nodded. Tea checked the time on her watch, and then started walking toward the entrance.
"Where are you going?" Atem asked. Tea stopped at the door.
"I'm going to make sure that Joey and Tristan actually go to school, and not hiding in my house." Atem chuckled, and pulled Tea closer to him by wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her closer to him.
"I'm sure that Yugi has already got them off to school." Tea turned her head.
"You really think that your brother can keep track of BOTH Joey and Tristan?" before Atem even had a chance to even respond, he felt Tea tense as she examined the garden.
"What's wrong?"
"I don't know for the past ten minutes I have a strange feeling like I am being watched, but when I go to investigate there is nothing there." Atem nuzzled his face into her hair and shoulder.
"I wouldn't worry about it. I have sensed anything."
"Then-" Atem cut her off before she had a chance to express her worries again.
"Its probably just some creatures living in the woods in the surround forest. With everything that is happening with Marco, you are probably just afraid to let your guard down, right?" Tea sighed and leaned heavily against him.
"If the 5d's gang hadn't shown up..." Tea couldn't bring herself to finish. Atem turned her around to face him.
"Lets be grateful that the gods allowed them to travel here. If we focus only on the 'what ifs' then all we are going to do is grow insane." Atem pulled her into a passionate kiss, and when he pulled away he pulled her into a hug. Tea was positioned so she could hear his heartbeat... that was surprisingly in sync with hers.
"Good always wins, Tea. Never lose faith in that, okay?" Tea nodded against him. Tea pulled away, and started to walk inside. Atem walked to the door, stepped inside, and went to close the door. Atem did a scan of his own just in case... he noticed that there was a little bit of dark magic.
'Marco... You better stay away from Tea. I'm not going to lose her... not to you.. not to anyone.
Sayer watched Atem close the door as he enter the house.
'I still can't believe that little brat is actually a 5,000 year old Pharaoh.'
Flashback
Sayer was walking down the hallway when he heard some sort of foreign words coming from the nearby room. Sayer walked into the room and saw Marco at the nearby pool, and was chanting... something, what it was Sayer didn't know.
"Sit down Sayer." Curiosity got the better so this time he obeyed the command.
"Who is that?"
"That is the Great Nameless Pharaoh. 5,000 years ago, there a great darkness that was about to take over the world... until the King of Egypt, or Pharaoh, sealed the darkness into the 7 mystical items. When that was done, the Pharaoh sealed himself using his own name as the key... then wiped his memory clean." Sayer was just staring at the pond.
"What is this thing anyway?" Marco chuckled.
"It's called the Enchanted Pond. It's powers aren't as strong as they were when my 'brother' was alive." Marco spat the brother, which caused Sayer to look at him.
"You really don't like him, huh?"
"No I don't... He took something that belong to me, and because of that my parents choose to favor my younger brother over me to inherit everything... I was labeled a disgrace, an outcast, to my own people. My brother's daughter is supposed to be..." Marco let out a frustrated groan. He stood harshly and started pacing.
"If we are going to grab those boys it has to be tomorrow. We need to be careful though... even though he doesn't have that weird item around his neck he still have magic... granted its not that strong. Be careful with my niece... her senses are like her mother.. she will sense you, so keep your distance from her." He quickly turned to Sayer and handed him a weird big ring(3).
"Take that a follow around those two boys. When the time is right, use this ring. Press the center when you have the two of them alone... place them with the guest that you brought." Sayer stood harshly, snatched the ring, and glared at Marco.
"Why don't you do it?" Marco waved his hand over the pond to see a baby girl laying a plastic basket at the hospital.
"I'm going to take care of my granddaughter." Marco started his evil laugh, and with a wave of hand (4) he disappeared in a puff of smoke.
End Flashback
After two hours of watching Atem and Yusei, he finally found his opportunity to make his move. Atem, Aknamkanon, and Yusei were placing the last item from the last box in its proper place. Aknamkanon is begging to go see the new baby, demanding to see Melody immediately, which Atem replies not even looking at his father explaining that yesterday Aknamkanon demanded that the house should take priority for the Melody's arrival.
"If it make you feel any better. Kyler, Eli, and Tea are hold a barbecue in order to celebrate Melody's welcoming into the family." Yusei said placing the last box by the door. Before Aknamkanon had a chance to even reply to Yusei, a black mist entered from the front door. Yusei, Atem, and Aknamkanon instantly started coughing. Sayer emerged from the front door.
"Impossible. The Earthbound Immortal swallowed you whole! There is no way you could have survived that." Yusei exclaimed through the coughing. Sayer gave Yusei and evil smile.
"Oh yes, but when Akiza defeated Misty I was revived with the rest of her victims." Atem caught Yusei, who started to lose his footing. Atem tried to use his magic, but when he realized he couldn't there was only one thing he could do.
Yugi!
Atem! What's wrong?
Nee...need... help... at.. my... house.. been attacked...
Atem couldn't hear what Yugi was saying. The last thing he saw was seeing Sayer punch his father in the face to knock him unconscious.
"..."
"...y"
"HEY!" Atem shot up like a rocket with the harsh shove and the shout. He turned his head and saw a young girl about his age, 16 to 17, with glasses that he couldn't see her eyes. She had black hair that layed out like a fan. Her clothes were a striped shirt, a jacket over the shirt, pants, and sneakers.
"Wh-Who are you?" he managed to choke out.
'The last thing he remembered was that black mist... calling Yugi..' his eyes widened when everything came rushing back.
"Yusei!" a groan came from his right, he turned his head to find Yusei waking up on the floor.
"What happened?" he asked sitting up. Yusei looked around until he saw Atem and the other girl.
"Are you ok? Where ar- CARLY?!" he shouted.
"Hi."
"What are doing here? Jack is going to blow a gasket... are you hurt?"
"Sayer grabbed me from my apartment, and brought me here to the past. No, I'm not hurt." Atem had a confused look, then cleared his voice. Yusei suddenly remembered Atem was there.
"Sorry. Atem this is Carly Carmine. Carly this is-" Carly cut him off.
"Atem Moto... or the Great Nameless Pharaoh." Atem tensed when she said that.
"How do you know that?"
"Sayer and that other man came in and told me to make sure that you two were comfortable and know the rules."
"What rules?" Yusei asked. Suddenly there was a baby cry.
"Man, I don't know how to help her... poor Melody. Barely a day old and yanked away from her parents." Carly went to get her while Atem started asking questions.
"Melody?! That's my daughter's name. What is she doing here?" Atem jumped up and gently took her from a frustrated Carly. Suddenly Melody started to calm down, and started cooing at Atem.
"Hi baby girl. Daddy's here."
"To answer your question Yusei. If we try to escape, or to try to contact the outside world in any way... and the man will take Melody and sell her to be a slave.. or.." Carly couldn't even finish. Atem snapped his head toward Carly.
"They will have to kill me to get to her." Yusei stood and walked toward Atem.
"It's obvious that they are just using us as bait for Tea and Akiza." Atem looked at him.
"So how do we handle this?" Yusei didn't know how to answer. Atem closed his eyes, then snapped opened.
"What's wrong?" Yusei asked noticing the panicked look in Atem's eyes.
"I can't sense Yugi at all... I can't communicate with him at all."
Dun dun dun! I figured to end it at cliffhanger. My plan is to update my other story in the next few days, then hopefully I'll come back with the next chapter.

-3.) Feel free to use your imagination. I couldn't think of a good ring to place as a description, so make the ring however you like but make sure that there is a stone in the center of the ring.
