Demonic Praying at the Church
Lori and Carol are walking together through the streets reaching to the church where her family about to reach the place as well.
"Hey Lori, is there something different about you?" Carol asked.
"No, what makes you say that?" Lori said nervous.
"I don't know, I just get this funny feeling that you're different somehow even though you look the same." Carol stated.
"It's probably… my hair! I've been using a new kind of shampoo." Lori lied, hoping Carol would buy it.
"Huh, now that you mention it, it does look shinier and beautiful than ever! That was probably what got me thinking you seem different." Carol nodded, completing buying the lie much to Lori's relief.
"Okay, so how's everything back home?" Lori asked.
"Everything is going great; my mom and dad entered a shovel boarding contest and mom won by a landslide!" Carol mentioned.
"Wow, I never knew your mom was great at shovel boarding." Lori surprised.
"Yeah, my dad got her into doing that because their old hobbies aren't feeling a thing to them, you should've seen how they got competitive." Carol said as she laughs.
"I can relate to that when me and my siblings like to compete almost all the time, like that time we competed on who could sell more stuff than the others, then we thought we accidently sold Lilly's blanket but mom had it all along doing the laundry." Lori recalled that time seeing how silly it was for the whole family competing like that.
"Oh, what about the time you all went on a strike because Lincoln complained about the chores each of you do seem easy." Carol brought that memory up.
"Oh my god, we literally made the house a complete mess and Lisa even made a trash monster too." Lori laughed.
"Has my ears pick you two talking about the chore strike event?" Lisa asked sarcastically as she and the rest of the family and Ronnie Anne came walking up to them.
"Oh, hi guys, look who I just bump into along the way." Lori gestured toward Carol.
"Carol, it's so good to see you!" Rita greeted.
"Hi Carol!" Lilly waved her hand rapidly.
"I see you're looking stunningly beautiful as ever." Lincoln flirted making Carol blush.
"Hey everyone, it's nice to see you all together. I thought this business trip was gonna be boring when I got here, but it looks like this trip maybe more fun with you guys here." Carol said happy to see the whole loud family here.
"Oh yeah, we're gonna have some fun before the 'fall' comes in." Luan punned everyone groans from the joke.
"I'm surprise to see you here too, Ronnie Anne, is your family here too?" Carol asked.
"No, they're still back home doing their usually stuff though we're still a little sad about Bobby's death." Ronnie Anne answered honestly.
"I heard; I can't believe he got killed by a drunk driver! Hasn't anyone remember the driving safety?" Carol angered. The reason she believes Bobby got killed by a drunk driver is because the Loud family use that to cover up the demon attack as they don't want to put anyone they care about in danger.
"Tell me about it. I just wanna go all demon on the bastard's neck!" Lynn said as she throws a few punches in the air.
"Yeah, I would feel angry like that too." Carol nodded.
"Oh, right. Feeling angry, that is exactly what I meant." Lynn chuckled nervous as she almost revealed the Loud family secret.
"By the way, where's Lucy?" Carol asked, noticing the goth girl isn't with them right now.
"Oh, she went following a red cat to some old library." Lola answered.
"A red cat?" Carol titled her head in a little confusion.
"Yeah, the cat is, like, totally red and so cute too! I even took a picture of her." Leni took out her phone and show Carol the photo of Red Devil and Lucy together.
"Aw, that is the cutest thing I have ever seen!" Carol smiled as her eyes sparkle of joy.
"We know." Lana chuckled.
"We were just heading inside the church for some praying for all of us to be safe and strong for the coming future." Albert mentioned, also hoping to find the second half of the amulet.
"Cool, mind if I join you guys?" Carol asked.
"Sure, the more the merrier. I just hope Lucy hasn't gotten lost in the city consider how big it is." Albert worried about Lucy going around the city with the red cat too much.
"I'm sure she fine, Pop-pop, Lucy has been able to take care of herself even in tough situations." Rita assured as she has faith in her children as a mother would always do.
"I just hope the church isn't too far from here." Carol exclaimed, feeling her legs getting tired from all the walking she did today.
"Actually, you won't have to worry about that at all." Luna said.
"Really?" Carol asked.
"Yeah bra, because we're already here." Luna gestured toward the large building that they are standing in front of.
"Oh, well, that was convenient." Carol commented.
"I suggest that we enter the church before it gets too crowed." Lisa pointed out.
"Right, we better get going." Ronnie Anne seconded that notion.
As they enter the building, the Loud family minus Albert are shock to see the church is bigger and wider on the inside as much as the outside appears to be as they look around feeling like it's half of a large theater room and see a huge statue of what appears to be Sparda though with a more human-like face.
"Lincoln, do you sense the other half of the amulet here?" Albert asked whispering to Lincoln.
"Let me check." Lincoln closed his eyes focusing his demon sense to see if the second half of the amulet is here, but he didn't get the chance to do that as he notice the first half glows red in his pocket.
Lincoln the first half out seeing the glow and glad that Carol hasn't turn around to see it, he move the amulet around a bit to see where its other half is and it appears to be glowing a little brighter when he point it at the statue showing the location of the second half of the amulet.
"It's in that statue." Lincoln whispered inform his grandfather.
"Okay, it's going to be tough getting it with all these people here. We'll have to wait for a chance to sneak by and get the amulet." Albert said.
"Maybe we can do it after this praying session and everyone leaving, that way it'll be less crowed for anyone to notice." Rita suggested.
"Good thinking, Rita." Albert impressed with the idea.
The Loud Family, Ronnie Anne, and Carol all went to find seats together and sat down joining in the prayer of the people here wishing all is safe in the world and hoping to do something great in their life in the near future, the usual things everyone wants to prey for. The Loud family decided to prey for their ancestors, Sparda, Dante, Vergil, and Nero asking to watch over them from Hell since they are demons to help save the world from the demons and carrying on the family legacy too.
"By the way, what business did you have here?" Lori asked whispering to Carol.
"I was meeting with a small group called the Order of the Sword, they wanted to help protect the city though they don't have the right materials to do so." Carol explained as Lori understands.
As the Priest of the Church stands up telling everyone to raise as well, Lincoln and the sisters felt the demonic presence of demons close by, in fact they are closer than they realize.
"Oh no, we have to go now." Lori worried.
"What, why?" Carol confused.
Before anyone could say anything, a black mist appears in front of the feet of the Priest and came out is a demon that looks like a scarecrow with a huge blade-arm as it screams scaring the crowd.
"B-Be gone, unholy being! This is sacred place of" His sentence was cut off when the demon impaled him in the chest and throwing him across to the back.

The crowd become scared as they run away outside and some warning the people outside not to go in there, all expect for the Louds and Ronnie Anne though Carol is still here as well.
"What the hell is going on?" Carol scared.
"Be careful kids, those are demon Scarecrow with blades on either their arm or leg, they're all the same as deadly." Albert pulled out his gun and shot one Scarecrow in the head as it was trying to pounce him and soon more came out.
Lori saw one coming at her and caught the blade between her hands, she kick it in head and kill it using the demon's own blade to the chest then she chop the blade off and threw it like a boomerang slicing four more as the blade stop at a wall.
"Lori, since when could you do that?" Carol asked.
"Since me and my family discover we're a family of demons and demon hunters." Lori answered quickly and pull Carol down to dodge a blade from a leg Scarecrow and kick it away.
"Look, I promise to explain everything to you, but we literally have to take care of these demons. You just stay close to me." Lori said and fire a demonic energy blast from her fingers like a gun shooting at the Scarecrows coming at her.
Lynn pounded one in the face to the ground, grabbing one of its leg to use the demon as a living or unliving mace smacking the other Scarecrows with it and using the blade to slices them up to and smack it on two demon then throwing a punch so strong all three demons are pulverizes into dust upon impact to a wall. Lana brought out dozens of spiked rocks and throws them as the Scarecrows impaling them to death and Lola summon her pink diamond shield throwing it like a disk slicing through eight of them in two. Luna is a literal stun girl electrocuting the demons to death with her lightning coated fists and feet, then she jumps on one's face to jump high and fire lightning bolts down zapping them to death. Luan and Lisa are doing their best to avoid the blades while beating up the demons though they soon found themselves being caught in a corner.
"Boy, these things sure aren't 'crowing' around." Luan joked.
"Must you continue doing your jokes at a time like this?" Lisa asked.
"Hey, it helps me be calm, okay." Luan stated before ducking a swing slice attack.
"No need to get a-Head of me." Luan joked and throw her arms out and suddenly a card appeared and pierce on a Scarecrow's head exploding it up.
"Whoa, did I do that?" Luan surprised at herself.
"It would seem you have discover you demon power." Lisa pointed out.
"Oh yeah, now time to show you guys how I like to shovel my cards." Luan smirked twelve cards appear in each hand throwing them at the other demons, they exploded on impact killing them.
"Awesome!" Lynn cheered that she has discover her demon power, but gasp.
"Lisa! Look out!" Lynn shouted.
Lisa quickly turn around seeing two of the demon Scarecrows and hold out her hand bracing for the blade to hit her, but three seconds later and nothing happen as Lisa slowly opens her seeing the two Scarecrows being frozen in place surrounded in light green aura and saw her own hand coated in the same color aura too. Lisa got an idea and lifts her hand high which in response lifted the demons as well, she smiles and threw her hand down so fast the demons are slammed to the ground nearly flat.
"Lisa, you can move things with your hands!" Luan gasped exciting.
"It appears to be some form of telekinesis, very fascinating." Lisa smiled as she and Luan got back to fighting the Scarecrows.
Rita holding two guns firing at the demons with great accessory killing them on sight while Lilly uses her own dagger slicing their arms and legs to render them helpless for Rita and Albert to kill them.
Lincoln and Ronnie Anne are together fighting against some demons shooting them with one gun each, Ronnie Anne slashes at them with a red dagger given to her by Trish while shooting them at the same time. Lincoln put the black gun away and pull out Rebellion to slash the demons to death and jump to perform a rolling slash attack slicing their heads and bodies in half.
"Lincoln, go get the amulet." Ronnie Anne said.
Lincoln nod and make his way to the statue, holding the amulet up to the head it glows brighter, and a secret compartment opens from the forehead revealing the second half of the amulet.
"I got it!" Lincoln announced to the others.
Unknown to him, four Scarecrows appear from above and jump at Lincoln to slices him with their blades, but they never got the chance because Lucy appeared out of the shadow and kick them away with her Doppelganger, they pull out daggers and threw them at the Scarecrows impaling them.
"Lucy, you're back!" Lincoln smiled hugging his little sister.
"Glad I got back in time." Luck said returning the hug and Red Devil meows popping up from Lucy's shoulder.
"I didn't know you could make a shadow clone." Lincoln said.
"It's not my shadow power, it's more like a new style." Lucy said.
"Explain that to me later, we still have some demons to clear out." Lincoln pointed at the ten remaining demons here in the church.
Red Devil Hisses at the demons and before anyone knew it, her tail turns into a razor-sharp blade and ran at the demons that are twenty-five feet away and slices them into forty pieces in just two seconds. This surprises the demon hunting family that a little cat was able to kill all those demons by itself, Red Devil smiles meowing at the group as her tail turns back to normal and walk up to Lucy who pets her before picking her up.

"Well, mission complete and no one is dead." Lincoln smirked spinning the completed amulet on his fingertip.
"All except for that Priest guy." Lana said sad as they all look at the dead body feeling bad for not being able to rescue him.
"It's like with superheroes in comics and TV shows, you can't save everybody no matter how hard you try or how powerful you are." Albert exclaimed as he close the corpse's eyes.
"I'm sure he'll be able to rest in peace that now he's been avenge." Ronnie Anne said, and everyone agrees.
"So, is this now a regular family thing for you guys because I'm totally confuse of what just happened here." Carol said feeling her head a bit dizzy from all the danger that happened in this church.
"Don't worry, Carol, I did promise to explain everything to you about this." Lori assured that her friend will get the full explanation.
"How about we go check in a hotel, I think we could all use some rest for the night." Rita suggested.
"Hey dudes, I saw you guys unlock your demon powers. Wicked." Luna said.
"Thanks, I always believe to be the 'Wild card' of the family." Luan punned.
"It'll be interesting to discover how much telekinesis I have in me." Lisa excited to test out her new powers.
Everyone walks out of the church to get some relaxation and to fill in Carol about everything that has happen to the Loud family.
KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!
They manage to find the second half of the demon amulet though not without a price of the Priest's life, I'm sure this will motive the Louds to become stronger so that no one will die on their watch again. Lisa and Luan have unlock their demon powers with Luan summoning demonic magic cards as they explode on impact and Lisa can move things with her minds, pretty cool right?
