With tears in her eyes Lucy just stared at Rachel, then she finally spoke: "How could you?"

Rachel said: "I'll explain, Finn had a kissing booth to raise money for national."

Lucy asked: "You paid money to kiss your ex?"

Rachel replied: "Yes. It started out just to prove a point that I was over him, but I am not. Now he wants me back."

Lucy said: "Then this is over, get out of here!"

Rachel said: "Wait Lucy, I… I don't want to lose you!"

Lucy yelled: "Too late you'll never get it right, now leave or I will slap you! We are done!"

Lucy called Maizie a few minutes later, then Becca and Maizie came over a to Lucy's house.

Maizie had brought over a container of her favorite Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia ice cream.

Becca asked: "Are you sure you don't want to give Rachel another chance?"

Lucy replied: "I don't need someone who wants to be with someone else."

Becca asked: "That's right, but is she was someone else?"

Lucy said: "I don't know."

Maizie gave Lucy a hug and said: "I can't believe Rachel did that she's an idiot, you deserve better!"

The three girls talked for another hour then Becca said: "We have to go; we still have homework to do."

Maizie said: "There is a Warbler's performance on Friday at Breadsticks. I'm assuming that you don't want to go to that because the New Directions will be there, that means Rachel will too."

Lucy responded: "There's no way I'm going to that."

Maizie said: "You can have a slumber party here afterwards; it probably won't be that late. Maybe we can do a road trip Saturday and spend Saturday night at my place. You can still go to church in the morning if you want to, and that will give us plenty of time to do homework on Sunday."

Becca and Lucy both agree.

Lucy asked: "Any idea where you want to go?"

Maizie said: "I know where I want to go, and I know Becca would be up for it. But Lucy's idea of adventure is sometimes different than ours."

Lucy asked: "Where?"

Maizie answered with a big smile on her face: "The Buckland Museum of Magic and Witchcraft."

Lucy said: "Oh wow, that sounds cool."

Friday night Becca and Maizie got there much earlier than Lucy expected.

Lucy asked: "I am glad to see you, but why are you here so early?

Becca responded: "The Warbler performance was good. Trent and I were having dinner afterwards and all he could talk about was 'Blaine Anderson this and Blaine Anderson that… regionals is in two weeks and Blaine Anderson was going to sing the lead solo… and shouldn't Blaine do a duet with Kurt because he and Kurt would be so perfect together… Blaine was the best in the person in the whole wide world.' My reaction was if you love Blaine so much, go join him and Kurt and you can date them. I wanted to leave my date and sit with Maizie."

Then Maizie replied with: "Wes was basically the same as Trent. 'Blaine Anderson is the greatest… we are going to win regionals because of Blaine… Blaine sang wonderfully tonight… and blah blah blah.' I also kept thinking I should just ditch Wes go be with Becca. If I had known what Wes and Trent were going to be like that we could have just left after the performance."

The girls talked for a little bit longer and ate a lot of junk food. Then they watched a movie and went to bed. They got up the next morning and drove to the Buckland Museum of Magic and Witchcraft.

Lucy had been kind of quiet on the drive over to the museum. Lucy parked the car and got out barely paying attention to her friends who were trying to keep the conversation going. Until Finally, Becca asked: "Are you doing okay this morning?"

Lucy said: "I'm doing okay. I was having fun, I just started thinking about Rachel for a minute. I do not want to talk about her. Let's go inside it looks interesting."

The museum is small with one room and the outside window has picture of a black cat and a witch riding a broomstick. Inside the museum there are a lot of tables with all kinds of displays. In the middle there is the biggest table with a large crystal ball surrounded by several other small crystals.

Maizie looked around thinking: "I expected this would be a little scarier."

Lucy remarked: "This is so cool!" as she looked around the room.

Becca's eyes caught something in a corner of the room, she walked over to get a better look. Lucy and Maizie followed behind her. There was a glass case that was labeled Demon Inside a Box, and there was a sketch of a demon. He had horns and a tail, claws for hands and feet, and a triangle shape beard. Underneath the sketch was a small black box a wrapped in twine and there was circle of salt crystals around it.

"So much for not being that creepy," thought Maizie. She looked around the room again and said: "This is creepy, let's go find the tarot cards."

"Yes," responded Becca, "tarot cards, that's why I came here."

They found the gift shop; it was full of crystals, candles, T-shirts, CDs, and most important many shelves full of tarot cards.

Maizie asked: "So you're supposed to pick the one you're drawn to?"

Becca replied: "Yes you should feel almost like a magnetic pull or like a voice telling you which one to get."

Maizie said: "Okay I'll try."

Maizie walked closer to the shelf, stop a couple feet away, closed her hazel eyes, and took a step forward. She reached out her hand, opened her eyes, and when she saw she was right in front of the shelf, she closed her eyes again. Then she grabbed one of the decks of cards with her eyes closed, opened her eyes, and looked at the deck in her hands. It was called the Witches Crystal. The box was purple and the picture of the card on the front were women standing around a cauldron. On the back of the box, it showed more pictures of the cards and she thought the images were really pretty and something she really would like. Maizie knew she had found her deck of tarot cards.

Becca approached the shelf next; she didn't stop before she got there. She put her hand on one of the deck of cards then closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She started touching some of the other boxes, then picked up one of the boxes of cards and opened her eyes. The box had unicorns and dragons on it.

Becca said: "This looks like mine."

Lucy had not known why Becca and Maisie had wanted to go or what she thought she would be doing at the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic. Buying a deck of cards that are used to tell fortunes or anything that is considered to be magic isn't anything Lucy ever saw herself doing; but she didn't want to feel left out. Lucy did feel something pulling her toward the area where the boxes of cards were. She walked over to the shelf, closed her eyes like Mazie had done, and took a deep breath. She put out her hand and instead of picking up or touching the tarot card decks, she knocks several boxes over on to the floor. Lucy picked them up one by one and put them back. When she got to the last box, she couldn't seem to put it back. Her fingers felt a little tingly like they were going to fall asleep and the carton seem to be almost stuck in her hand. Lucy looks at the box, it was yellow and said Rider Waite Tarot Deck. The picture of the Magician card was on the front.

Lucy said: "Okay, I guess this one is mine."

Becca said: "I guess I know what we're doing tonight."

A month later was the first night of their school musical Bye-Bye Birdie. Lucy was really excited, and the show went really well. Becca and Maizie were in the chorus, and Lucy's parents were there. Becca and Maisie's parents were there also, and Lucy had heard that Brittany might be there. Right before Lucy and her friends left the stage, they were looking down over the audience enjoying everyone's reaction. That was until Lucy's eyes noticed some of the audience had stood up and were starting to leave. Lucy saw a very tall teenage boy, she thought she recognized him. Holding his hand was a girl she definitely recognized, it was Rachel with Finn. She just stared at the two of them, then she pointed at them and motioned to her friends. Becca saw who Lucy was pointing at first. Becca said: "Rachel came with her boyfriend."

Maizie said: "I can't believe she did that, that is so mean."

Lucy couldn't take her eyes off Rachel and Finn. Lucy said: "I thought I was the only one who liked that sweater."

Both Becca and Mazie, responded at the same time: "You are."

Becca said: "She showed up to your play with her boyfriend. You should show up to one of her activities with somebody else."

Lucy replied: "I can't exactly show up to Nationals with a date, when I'm not seeing anyone, and they are in New York." Then she said, "I could go to her prom. I would need someone from her school to ask me."

Maizie asked: "Why do you have to have someone from McKinley to ask you, why can't you ask them?"

Lucy replied: "I guess I could ask somebody." Lucy thought, I know exactly who."
