Becca, Lucy, and Mazie had all gotten together at Mazie 's house after school to get ready for the prom. Before they even started to get ready, they sat down in Mazie's family room with their tarot cards out to do a pre-prom tarot card reading.

Mazie started first and shuffled her deck, she was doing Lucy's future. The first card was the death card.

Lucy asked: "What kind of future starts with death?"

Mazie replied: "Don't worry it doesn't mean what you think, the death card represents an end of something in order to give way to change. That means ending a chapter in your life or a way of thinking. Maybe something simple, like the fact that we're ending the school year and summer is coming. It could also mean you have lost weight, had a nose job, or went from never being in a relationship to having a girlfriend. It could mean dumping one also, and you have made a lot of changes since before the summer. You have been dying your hair blonde and you not only have done a lot of changing this year, but there are a lot of changes to come. Next year we will be seniors and after that we will be out of high school, everything will change."

Lucy said: "Okay, good I'm glad that it does not means I'm going to die right after the prom."

The next card she turns over is the four of swords. The picture is of a woman with long dark hair in a beautiful maroon colored dress. She's sleeping in the snow and holding one sword and there are three other swords around her.

Lucy asked: "Now that I've gone through these changes, I'm going to kill somebody and take a nap in the snow afterwards or does it mean someone kills me?

Mazie laughed and responded: "Nap in the snow, yes, but just to rest and recharge after doing battle. I don't think you killed anybody, and anybody killed you either."

The next card Mazie turns over has a picture of a woman with long brown hair playing the flute under a tree, a dragon is sitting behind her. The page of wands.

Lucy said: "Oh cool I always wanted a pet dragon. When do I get one?"

Mazie replied: "You don't get a real pet dragon; this card represents a woman with a creative soul who thinks outside the box. She is young, yet powerful, and she has a creative vision. She's looking for something new.

Lucy asked: "Is the page of wands someone I know or is it me because I could see both?"

Mazie answered: "It could be either you or somebody you know now, or somebody you're going to meet very soon."

The next card Mazie turned over was the nine of wands. It had a picture of a woman in red, she's sitting beside a lion with her arm on the lion's back. There are wands sticking out of the ground that look like torches with fire, the sun is setting behind her and the lion. The sky behind them looks as though it is on fire.

Lucy said: "She has a pet lion; I want to pet lion.

Mazie responded: "It's not about having a pet lion."

Lucy jokingly whined: "First I don't get a pet dragon, now I don't get a pet lion. Why can't I have a cool pet? What kind of fortune is this?"

Mazie smiled: "The nine of wands card warns us to be careful, if you're not careful the lion you want as a pet is going to eat you. You need to be patient and cautious when planning your next course of action because happiness is just around the corner."

Lucy asked: "So you're saying this card means that if I make the right decision, I will be happy; but if I don't, I will be eaten by a lion?"

Becca said: "Maybe you need to consider getting a friendlier pet like a cat or a dog. Maybe that would be a better decision to make you happy instead something so dangerous like a lion or a dragon."

The next card is the five of wands. There is a picture of three bare chested men holding sticks and behind them are the mountains. The background colors are deep oranges and reds that clearly represent fire, in front of the men are two lions fighting.

Mazie said: "This card represents fighting, arguing, struggling and passion."

The next few cards just represented making choices and leaving things behind as well as the prediction that there will be one unusual night coming up very soon, probably tonight. It will be full of surprises and a chance for lust, intimacy, and passion.

What should happen at the prom?

Should Santana win prom queen, declare her love for Brittany, and they leave together. Also, Lucy leaves with Rachel.

Kurt wins prom queen, Santana and Brittany leave together and Lucy leaves with Dave.

C. Lauren or Britney win prom Queen and Brittany and Lucy leave together.
