The whole night, Kara couldn't sleep, and she stayed up crying as Peter hugged her, trying his best to comfort her as she sobbed into his shirt.

"It's gone, all of it gone." She said as she pulled away.

"I know, but you're safe now." Peter said as he smiled gently and wiped the tears from her face with his thumb. "I'll help look after you, I promise." He said and Kara smiled up at him.

"You will?" Kara asks. "Why would you do that?"

"I just want to help you." Peter guesses and that seemed to have helped Kara as a while later, she actually fell asleep as Peter just held her.

He only just met this girl, but he feels like he has a responsibility to help her.

The next morning, Richard and Mary informed Kara that they would be taking her in and as soon as they got back to New York, they would use their resources to help with it being done secretly to not cause suspicion.

"Thank you, you have no idea how much this means to me." Kara said as she hugs the two of them.

"There's no need to thank us." Mary said as she rubbed Kara's back.

"Yes there is, you are taking me in and helping me, even though I'm an alien." Kara said pulling away, smiling, and wiping away her tears.

"We don't really know what you're going through, and we can only begin to imagine how it feels to be on a strange world and have nothing and nobody to turn too." Richard says as he rubs Kara's back in comfort. "But we promise to be there for you as much as we can."

After they finished talking, Kara began to tear up and sob into her hands again.

"Hey, hey Kara are you okay?" Richard asked, his voice filled with concern.

"I'm...I'm trying to be strong for my family, but I can't. I...I just miss them so much." Kara said as she cries.

"Hey, sweetie, it's okay to let your emotions out. Bottling them up will only hurt more later." Mary said as she stroked Kara's hair and kept hugging her.

"Kara, it's okay to be sad. No one can expect you to be fine after everything you've been through. When my mother died, I tried to bottle up my emotions because I thought I was being strong. But it did nothing, and then I remembered it will get better. Your family saved you for a reason. For you to live your life and move forwards." Richard said as he wiped her tears away with his thumb.

"I know you aren't our daughter, and we are not your parents, but we will treat you as if you were." Mary promised, smiling at Kara.

"Thank you, all of you." Kara said smiling at them all and pulled them in for a hug.

"No problem, Kara." Mary said with a smile as Peter walked up and saw the family hug.

"Did I walk in on a bad time?" Peter asks them, feeling a little let out.

"Get over here, son." Richard said playfully and pulls his kid into the family huddle. "Come on, let's get you a change of clothes and then we can go home, yeah?" He said smiling at his two kids as he breaks the hug.

Kara wiped away the remaining tears and nodded. As they were getting ready to leave the cabin, Mary gave a call to a friend from work to maybe check up on Kara.

Once they reached New York, Kara was quickly amazed by the size of the city. The sea of people all over the place and the mountains of buildings. It was all so foreign to her but at the same time it reminded her a lot of like how it was on Krypton.

Once they made it to their home and unpacked, Mary lead Kara to the guest room, which they planned on changing into her bedroom later on.

"It's not much, but we can change it however you like later." Mary promises Kara who takes a seat on the bed.

"It's perfect, thank you." Kara says as Mary sits down next to her and tries to comfort her.

"Listen, I have a friend coming by to check up on you, make sure you're okay physically. It's going to be okay; you can trust her. She knows someone who could get your ship somewhere where no one will find it." Mary tells Kara, who understands what she means. "And when we're done with all of that, we can go out and get you some more clothes."

Kara smiles and leans against Mary's shoulder as she holds onto her tight. "I'm happy you found me out there and not some stranger, Mary."

"Me too, sweetie." Mary says as she holds onto Kara and keeps rubbing her shoulder.

Richard and Peter were downstairs when there was a knock at the door, Richard went to open it and saw exactly who they were expecting.

"Sue. It's nice to see you." Richard says as he hugs his wife's friend.

Susan laughs and hugs him back. "It's nice to see you too, Richard. And it seems you've had a strange weekend if what I was told on the phone."

"Aunt Sue!" Peter cheers as he races and hugs his aunt.

"Hey, Petey. I heard you have a new sister." Susan says as she hugs Peter back. "Where's Mary?"

"She and Kara are up in the guest room." Richard says as Susan makes her way up to find them.

Susan knocks on the door and is let in by Mary and they exchange pleasantries and then shows her Kara.

"She looks...pretty normal." Susan comments on Kara's appearance being like nothing she was expecting after being told she was an alien.

"Yeah, we were a little skeptical until we found her spaceship." Mary assures her. "Speaking of which-"

"I'm having Reed get a team together to try and move the ship. Did you hide it anywhere or is it just...?" Susan asks as she begins to go through her bag to get her medical kit.

"It was impossible to move." Mary admitted. "There was nothing we could do. We just covered it up the best we could."

"I'll be sure to let them know." Susan supposed and pulled out a needle and looked to Kara. "This is going to hurt a little, but only for a second." She tells Kara and she understands and reaches for her arm and pulled the sleeve back before going to stick the needle into arm just as the needle just ended up with the needle bending and breaking on her.

Mary looks completely confused, followed by Susan's face showing a face of equal confusion and she turned to Mary who had no idea on what to say about this.

"I'm...I'm sorry." Kara apologizes sheepishly.

"No, no, no." Susan quickly turned back to the little girl and assured her it wasn't her fault. "It's not your fault. I guess you're just a little more...special than we were expecting."

Susan then went through everything she could, wondering just how different she is from humans. She didn't have much to work off of with the equipment she had and thinks it'll be better if she brought Kara into the labs once she got fully settled into her new home.

"Well, Kara, from what I can tell, you are a perfectly healthy girl." Susan reported with a cheery smile. "I'd like to see about bringing you into the labs, where I might be able to get a more...better look at what makes you so special, but for now, I can say that you are going to be fine."

"Thank you, Miss. Susan." Kara appreciates her help.

"Kara, it's just Susan. Or Sue. That's what my brother and friends call me." Susan says as she packs up and gets ready to leave. "Okay, I'll be seeing you again, Kara." She says as she makes her way out.

"Thank you again for doing this, Sue. I don't know how to repay you." Mary tells her.

"No worries, but I would keep your eyes on her...I don't think her tough skin is the only difference between us." Susan told her sternly. "Be sure to keep me updated you see anything else." She then leaves and leaves the two women alone.

"So...Peter's probably going to be helping Richard with getting you legalized. What do you think about spending some time together? We can go out and get some fresh air."

"I would like that." Kara agreed as she follows Mary.

The two of them walked through the busy streets of New York, Kara taking in all the sites the city has to offer.

"This is amazing." Kara says as she looked up just as a murder of crows fly overhead. "I...I've never seen anything like this on Krypton."

"Really? I was kinda figuring we'd look seriously far less advanced than your first home." Mary admitted.

"I wanna know everything about this world." Kara tells Mary. "Everything there is to learn, everything there is to be an Earth girl. Where do we start?"

Mary chuckles at Kara's enthusiasm and sees that raising her might not be too different than raising Peter. "I think I know exactly where to start." Mary says and begins taking Kara on a shopping spree for some new clothes for her.

Mary was actually having a blast spending her day like this, due to the fact she lives with Richard and Peter, they're not exactly into the whole spending the day just shopping thing, but it seems that not only is Kara getting the idea of it, but she also seems to be enjoying it a lot.

Sometime around noon, they finished their shopping trip and ended up with about two bags on each arm as they made their way out of the mall.

"That was so much fun!" Kara told Mary. "I think I'm going to love it here."

"I'm glad to hear it." Mary laughs. "You seem to already have the shopping part down." She then feels famished after all the shopping. "You hungry?"

"I'm starving." Kara admits.

Mary then takes Kara over to a hotdog vender known for having the best dogs in Queens. The man who runs it is called Stan Lee, but he tells everyone to just call him Stan.

"Hey, Mrs. Parker." Stan greets the approaching duo with a smile. "How's the family?"

"We're pretty good, Stan, thanks." Mary says with a smile and orders the two of them hotdogs.

"And who is this young lady?" Stan asks, noticing Kara. "If I hadn't known you for so long, I'd mistake her for your daughter."

"Well, she kinda is." Mary laughs. "Stan, this is our adopted daughter, Kara. Kara, this is Stan Lee." She introduces the two of them.

"Oh, well you've got brought into a good family there, kid." Stan assures Kara while handing her a hotdog.

"Yeah, they're amazing." Kara agreed.

Mary takes her hotdog and paid Stan. "I'll see you around, Stan. Say hello to the missus for me." She asks of him and strolls off with Kara reluctant to take a bite.

"They're not really made out of...?" Kara questions.

"No, don't worry." Mary assured her and Kara took a bite out of the dog and fell in love with it. "Well, shopping, junk food, I'd say you're a bonafied Earth girl."

Kara smiles and engulfed Mary into a hug which she returned and started to stroke her hair.

That night, the two of them were taking a stroll through Central Park on their way home.

"It's so beautiful here." Kara says as she looks around the trees.

"You seem to be saying that a lot lately." Mary joked.

"Sorry." Kara apologizes sheepishly.

"No, it's okay." Mary laughs at her behavior. "It just means you're already adjusting."

Kara laughs and rubs her eyes as they begin to hurt. "Ugh."

"Kara, you okay?" Mary asks as Kara looks up to face her, only to be met with seeing through Mary's skin and sees her skeleton.

"Ahh!" Kara cries as she walks backwards and trips on a small crack in the sidewalk and instead of falling, she began to float. "What...what's happening?"

"Kara, what's wrong?" Mary asks quietly, but Kara heard it as if she was speaking through a megaphone. "Kara, honey?"

Kara covered her ears and felt as if her eyes were burning and once she opened them again, Mary noticed they were glowing red and next came a beam of energy from both eyes. To not harm Mary, Kara redirected her eyes across the park, but ended up scorching the ground and slicing through several trees and even a bench. Quickly, Kara used her hands and covered her eyes before closing them and the beams stopped.

"I'm sorry!" Kara cried as she kept her eyes shut. "I'm so sorry!"

"It's okay." Mary promised as she curled Kara up and noticed they needed to get out fast. "Come on, let's get out of here." She then runs off fast with the girl into the night, hoping it doesn't attract too much attention.

Some time when the two have escaped, the police were called in to check out the disturbance and were completely confused about what exactly occurred.

"Gentlemen?" Someone called as they see someone strolling over wearing glasses. "Any idea what happened here?"

"We're working on the cause of the explosion, but our guess is a bunch of kids who decided to cause some problems." An officer took as a wild guess. "And who are you?"

The man then reached into his suit and took out a badge. "Agent Phil Coulson, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. We're going to be following this incident, we believe this is something bigger." He explains and heads back to his vehicle which had an eagle shaped logo on its doors.

"Anything?" Agent Maria Hill asks.

"They know nothing worth of interest." Coulson reported.

"You gonna tell him or make me tell him?" Hill wondered.

"He seems to react better when you tell him." Coulson said.

"I don't wanna tell him." Hill replied.

"Then how about we wait until we actually have something to report?" Coulson compromised.

Hill thinks for a second and thinks that's good for now. "Fine."

And with that, they drive off and quickly head to one of their stations in New York until they can find out more of this incident. If that's truly what it was.

Meanwhile, one of the officers strolled off and into a dark alley, before shapeshifting. Revealing to instead being a man, it was an all blue female wearing a all white outfit and had short red cut hair.

"Eric, I might've found us something." Mystique informed her leader, Magneto.

In a car, not far from the incident, an man wearing red tinted glasses was sitting in the driver seat next to a bald man who had his eyes closed.

"Anything, professor?" The glasses man asked the elderly.

"I might have something, Scott." The Professor said as Scott started the car and drove off.

Meanwhile, out near the shoreline to the Statue of Liberty, a fireball is coming from the sky crashed into the ocean, causing a massive explosion of water.

The smoke cleared and nothing happened, but after a few seconds came a girl crawling out of the water, coughing up the what was in her lungs until she stood up and the water dripped off her orange skin, the water revealing her curvy and athletic body, as the water dripped from her long flowing red hair.

She quickly covered herself as she noticed her clothes were burned off during her entry to the planet and ran off onto the island of liberty, no idea what to do or where she is.

(A/N)And the toll that had the most request was...Option 2! So we're getting a mix between the Dc Universe and the Marvel Universe. No specific realities since it'll be a mix of the MCU, maybe a little Avengers Assemble, and some from the DCTV universe. And I already chose the members of the team so don't go requesting members.
