A/N hey guys, if you've read the first chapter I suggest you go back and read it, I changed the last half of it, thanks and sorry for any inconvenience!

The Great Hall was alive with chatter, I sat down to breakfast and glanced up at the high table, there sat the two Death Eaters, both of whom I have seen before at the manor. Amycus and Alecto Carrow, I seethed, my fingers grasping the edge of the table, Professor Burbage and I were very close, and I preyed that nothing terrible had happened to her.

I turned my attention to the timetable in my hands, having discussed which lessons I wanted to proceed with with Slughorn moments before, all lessons I needed to become a Healer.

First thing was a free period, then 'Dark Arts', I sighed heavily, not looking forward to that lesson.

During my first period, I decided to go down to Hagrids, I knocked and waited, a few moments later Hagrid appeared opposite me.

'Mara, blimey, yeh've come back!' he exclaimed 'I was just about to go and visit Grawp.'

'Ooh, can I come?' I asked

''Course,' beamed Hagrid, who grabbed his crossbow and I followed after him.

'Glad to see yeh again, Mara,' said Hagrid as we walked towards the forest 'Why did yeh leave? We all thought the worst.'

'I got married.'

'Yeh what!?' Hagrid boomed 'Bloody hell, Mara, bit young.'

'Seventeen is a fine age to marry, it's perfectly legal.'

'I know tha',' Hagrid frowned 'Just a bit quick like.'

'Well, we thought, might as well while we can, with things the way they are at the moment.'

'Righ'' Hagrid replied 'How come it weren't in the paper then? Tha' bloke you married is a big celebrity in he?'

'Yes, he's the Cello player for the Weird Sisters, Merton Graves.'

'An' he whisked yeh off yer feet,' Hagrid chortled 'can't say I've heard of anyone leaving Hogwarts mid term to go an get married before though.'

We entered the forest, and went in deeper until a huge, tall figure bored down at the both of us

'Hello, Grawpy, remember me?'

'Marmie,' Grawp grunted

'Close enough.' I chuckled 'Nice to see you again, Grawp.'

'Bin a bit hard to check up on him now that me moves are being watched more closely,' said Hagrid darkly 'now that yeh've come back, maybe yeh could visit him more.'

My lips pursed, I wasn't sure about going wandering off into the forest alone.

'I'll try my best to.'

'Thanks Mara.' Hagrid smiled behind his wild, tangled beard.

'What the...' I trailed off as I saw something large and black flit across the trees, I moved away from Hagrid as he talked, and beyond the thick trees, my wand out.

There sat a large black fox, it's head tilted up at me.

'Harold.' I hissed 'What the fuck do you think you're doing here.' the fox bounded towards me, and hugged around my feet, confirming to me it was indeed my father.

'You idiot,' I growled, picking him up 'you shouldn't be here, you should be with Artie.'

'Mara!' Hagrid emerged 'I wish yeh'd stop running off like tha'!'

'I'm sorry, Hagrid,' I replied 'It's that fox again, remember, from before?'

'I remember.' said Hagrid, glancing at the fox in my arms warily 'Still, yeh shouldn't wander off, especially these days!'

'Sorry.' I muttered 'I won't do it again, promise.'

Hagrid sighed

'Well, we'd better get back,' Hagrid replied 'C'mon.'

I put the fox down

'Go back to Artie and Maureen,' I whispered when Hagrid turned back towards Grawp 'They need your protection, I'll be fine. Just make sure you aren't seen by anyone.'

'Mara?'

'Coming!' I turned away from the fox and hurried after Hagrid, and we made our way out of the forest.

'Want a cup of tea?' Hagrid asked

'I should get back, maybe another time, Hagrid.'

'Alrigh' then, see you soon, Mara.'

'See you.' and I made my way back to the castle, steadying my nerves for 'Dark Arts' class, this should be fun.

There was already a queue outside the Dark Arts classroom, and many eyes fell upon me as I stood at the end.

'Alright, get in you lot.' came Amycus's voice a moment later, and the students filed inside.

People mulled around to find their seats, and soon we were unpacking our bags.

Amycus looked over everyone, he was quite squat and lumpy, and looking him up close, he had a pallid and doughy face and lopsided leer.

He began to take the register, checking of names as he went down the list.

'Morris, Mara.'

'Here.'

Amycus gave me a smirk, he abandoned the list and turned his attention towards me.

'Mara Morris,' he grinned 'oh, I've heard all about you, missy.'

I glowered in his direction, glaring as he approached me.

'Like it a bit rough, don't you?' he sniggered 'Heard all about it from Greyback.'

'Whatever Greyback has been saying they're all lies.' I said defensively, aware of everyone's eyes on me.

Amycus grinned widely

'Sure it is sweetheart,' he retorted with a snort 'how about,' he lowered towards me so much I had to lean back 'you stay after class, and you can open your legs for me?' his fingers gripped my jaw, and everyone gasped as a pelt of spit smacked into Amycus's face, he rose up with closed eyes and wiped my saliva off his face with his sleeve.

He looked at me with an almost kind smile, and I cried, at the searing pain that shot through my face upon the fist that made contact with it.

There were roars of outrage from Neville and Seamus, among others.

'Shut your traps, all of you,' Amycus growled 'or you'll get the same, or worse!'

I held my throbbing eye where he punched it, bent double over my desk in pain.

'She needs the hospital wing.' said Neville strongly

'She'll get over it.' Amycus said 'Now, let's start the lesson, shall we?'

I couldn't pay much attention to Amycus's lesson, all my focus was on my throbbing head.

'You should be more careful, Miss Morris,' said Madam Pomfrey, as I sat on a bed in the hospital wing after class 'These Carrow's seem vary volatile, I shouldn't provoke them in future.'

'But you should have heard the things he was saying about her!' Neville snapped 'It was disgusting!'

'Now really, what could be so bad that you had to result in spitting?'

'Well...it was...it was just nasty.' Neville shuddered 'I don't want to have to repeat it.'

Madam Pomfrey sighed and issued me a wiggenweld potion.

'Drink this, it will help with the pain, but I'm afraid there will be a nasty bruise there for awhile.'

'It'll be alright, Mara.' said Neville, his hand pressing on my shoulder 'Hey, by the way, do you still have your old DA coin?'

'Well...' he scratched the back of his neck 'we're going to need it back.'

'What, why?'

'Uh...everyone's under the impression that all Slytherin's can't be trusted, and uh, well, we just need it back.'

'Oh, that's how it is, is it?' I growled, raising to my feet

'I'm sorry, Mara, really, I wish I could let you keep it.'

'Whatever, Neville, here,' I rummaged through my cloak pockets and pulled out the coin, shoving it to Neville's chest 'Keep your stupid coin, I decided to keep it on me this year just in case the DA decided to reform, but since you don't want me nor trust me!'

'Mara.' Neville called as I stormed away from him

'Save it!' I growled, marching out of the hospital wing in a more fouler mood than upon entering.

How could they all think I would betray the DA? Just because I'm a Slytherin?

Maybe I shouldn't have bothered coming back at all.
