"I'm not saying don't date the guy. I'm just saying take it slow." Bonnie says to Elena out front of the school.
"You were the one who said to go for it." Elena replies confused.
"Now, I'm saying take it slow." Bonnie cautions.
"Can I ask why?" I ask just as confused.
"Why the about-face?" Elena asks parroting me. "It's not an about-face. You're single for the first time in your entire high school career. It's the perfect time to play the field." Bonnie explains.
"Oh, because I'm so that girl." Elena scoffs "Seriously, what are you not saying?"
"It's stupid." Bonnie admits.
"Bonnie..." Elena pushes
"What?" Bonnie asks playing dumb.
"Spit it out." Elena orders.
"I accidentally touched Stefan. And I got a really bad feeling." Bonnie tells us. I give her a concerned look. Could this be something to do with her psychic powers
"Is that it? Bonnie." Elena says exasperated.
"It was bad bad!" Bonnie tries to convince Elena.
"Is this the whole witch mojo thing again?" Elena asks thinking what I'm thinking.
"You know what? I'm just concerned. This is me expressing concern about my best friend's new boyfriend." Bonnie tells her.
"And I love you for it, I do. But I feel good. It's been a hard year, and I'm starting to kind of feel like things are getting back to normal again. And you know what? Stefan is a big part of that." Elena replies in typical Elena fashion.
Stefan walks up to us.
"Good morning, Elena. Good morning, Bonnie. Good morning, Evelyn." Stefan greets.
"Hey, um, I gotta find Caroline. She's not answering her phone. So, I'll see you guys later." Bonnie says quickly walking away.
"Bonnie, wait..." Elena calls after her, but she's already gone.
"She doesn't like me very much." Stefan observes.
"She doesn't know you. She's my best friend. She's just looking out for me. But when she does, she will love you." Elena tells him.
"I hope not, or you might lose him to Bonnie." I say with a chuckle. He chuckles as well.
"Here's what we're going to do. Are you free tonight?" Elena asks him.
"Yes." Stefan replies confused.
"Perfect. Dinner, my house. 8:00. You, me, Evie, and Bonnie. You two will spend some quality time and she'll get to see what a great guy you are. Mission accomplished." Elena explains.
"Why am I included?" I whine.
"Because we know you will be there anyway." Elena says.
"Fine," I give in knowing it's true.
All of a sudden, a football is headed straight for Stefan's head. He quickly turns around catching it. He throws it back to Tyler.
"Tyler!" I yell upset.
"Sorry, Evie. Threw a little too hard." Tyler lies. That boy I swear. I shake my head as the bell rings for class.
"That throw was insane. I didn't know you played football." Elena says amazed. I nod along agreeing.
"I used to. It was a long time ago." Stefan says mysteriously.
"So why don't you try out for the team?" Elena asks.
"Yeah, I don't think so." Stefan disagrees.
"Come on, hit the gym and you'll be back in perfect shape for football." I tell him. He gives me a look that tells me to shut up.
"You don't like football?" Elena asks confused. "No, I love football. I think it's a great sport. But in this case, I don't think football likes me. You saw Tyler over there, and we both know how Matt feels." Stefan explains.
"They don't know you. To them, you're mysterious loner guy. Wouldn't hurt to be part of. Make some friends." Elena says.
"Besides if it's Tyler I can speak to him," I offer. "It's alright Evie. And says the girl who spends her alone time writing in a cemetery." Stefan says.
"Hey, come on. There's more to me than just gloomy graveyard girl. There's a whole other Elena that you have yet to meet. She was into everything, very busy." Elena defends herself.
"Well, I look forward to meeting her. And when will that be?" Stefan flirts then asks.
"Soon. She's working on it." Elena replies.
"I'm gonna head to class before you two starts making out outside the school." I say walking away not waiting for a response.
I walk to history and sit down. Hopefully Tanner isn't feeling particularly nasty today.
"World war II ended in... anyone got anything? Miss Juan? 1945." Tanner says. Not many people are paying attention. " Pearl Harbor, Miss Gilbert?"
"Hmm?" Elena asks.
"Pearl Harbor?" Tanner repeats
"Um..." Elena says stuck.
"December 7, 1941." Stefan and I say at the same time.
"Thank you, Miss Gilbert." Tanner says forcefully. "Anytime." Stefan says with a nod.
"You're welcome." I reply with a cheeky smile on my face.
"Very well. The fall of the Berlin wall." Tanner says expecting an answer
"1989" Stefan and I say again.
"I'm good with dates, sir." Stefan tells him.
"Are you? How good?" Tanner asks. "Are you as good as our resident expert Evalyn. Keep it to the year. Civil Rights Act."
"1964." Stefan replies
"John F. Kennedy assassination."
"1963."
"Martin Luther King."
"'68."
"Lincoln."
"1865."
"Roe vs. Wade."
"1973."
"Brown vs. Board."
"1954."
"The battle of Gettysburg."
"1863."
"Korean war."
"1950 to 1953."
"Ha! It ended in '52." Tanner says thinking he's won.
"Uh, actually, sir, it was '53." Stefan politely corrects him.
"It was 1953." I say agreeing with Stefan.
"Look it up, somebody. Quickly." Tanner orders. "It was 19...53." Another student in the class says. The entire class claps. Then the bell goes. We all file out of the class.
"How did you know all of that?" Elena asks Stefan.
"Years and years of crossword puzzles. It's a loner thing." Stefan replies.
"We should study for the exam together." I say.
"Sure," he agrees.
The rest of the day passes very uneventful. Its football practice today so I go pick up Blaise and head back to the school to watch. That way I can take Tyler home after. I see Stefan there and join him.
"Hey," I greet.
"Hey, Hi Blaise." Stefan greets us both.
"Just watching practice?" I ask.
"I'm thinking of trying out but trying to get the courage to ask." He admits.
"Blaise and I both think your have this." I say giving encouragement.
"Thanks," he says giving Blaise a smile.
"Mr. Lockwood, is there anything you're good at? Cause it isn't history, and it sure as hell isn't defending the ball!" Tanner yells at Tyler.
"Yes, coach." Tyler yells back dutifully
"Now do it again!" Tanner orders.
"I hate when he does that." I say to Stefan.
"I can get why." He replies. "You and Tyler how did you two get close?"
"Elena and Matt were thrown together as kids. So that left Tyler and I. We are best of friends. Even if we don't always agree." I explain.
"I'm like that with my best friend." He says.
"It's always good to have someone who has your back but will also tell you when your fucking up." I tell him with a chuckle.
Blaise squeals and kicks out his little feet.
"Yeah, Go uncle Tyler!" I cheer to Blaise.
Stefan decides to go down and talk to coach Tanner.
"Varsity trials were last spring, Mr. Salvatore." Tanner tells him when he asks.
"I wasn't here then, sir." Stefan explains.
"And you're not here now, as far as I'm concerned." Tanner says with attitude.
"Mr. Tanner, I realize that you and I didn't get off to the best start, and I want to apologize for that. I've played football before. Wide receiver, mostly, and I'm pretty good." Stefan explains. "Well, I won't be asking you who won the super bowl in '71." Tanner says in a joking manner.
"'71 was the...Sorry. I... I understand that sir." Stefan says.
"71 was the Colts." I yell to them.
"Thank you, Evalyn." Tanner says rolling his eyes. "Just to see you get knocked on your ass. Borrow some gear. Go! Before I change my mind. Let's run it again!" Stefan runs off to go change.
"Looks like Stefan is getting his chance to shine." I say to Blaise. He babbles away at me. Tyler comes up to greet up for a moment while the boys have a water break. He gives Blaise a kiss.
"Hey, enjoying the practice?" He asks.
"Of course, Blaise is cheering on his uncle Ty." I say with a smile.
"You gonna be at the game?" He asks.
"Yeah, I got those noise dampener headphones for Blaise that way he can attend as well and not get scared from all the noise." I tell Tyler.
"Sweet. I'll see what I can do to get him a little Jersey to wear. Gotta have him repping Timberwolves. You still got my old one somewhere?" He asks.
"Yeah, hey do me a favour." I say.
"Sure." He agrees.
"Don't be a dick to Stefan. He's the new kid. It's hard to make friends as the new kid. Elena walked away from Matt before Stefan was in the picture. You and I both told them it was a bad idea to date." I say to him holding his gaze.
"Alright, I'll try to be nice. Let me get one good hit though." He pleads
"Fine. One, that's it. After that you shake the guy's hand and welcome him to the team." I say sternly. "I don't want Blaise to get the wrong idea."
"Kay, for you and Blaise. I wouldn't do it for anyone else." He tells me.
"I know. You know I'd do the same." I say as he walks back to the field. Stefan runs back onto the field in gear.
"Stefan on the team?" I turn and see Damon walking up the bleachers to me.
"Yeah, from what I gather. Hopefully it will help him make friends." I tell him.
"We can only hope." He replies. Blaise reaches out for him, and he takes him.
"I'm glad Blaise likes you." I tell him.
"Me too. He really is a cute kid. Do you know who the dad is?" He asks suddenly.
"No, I got drunk at a party and got pregnant." I tell him. "He looks more like he's your kid then he is mine."
"Yeah, I would have to agree you with you on that. If I didn't know any better, I would think he's mine." Damon says.
Blaise is standing on Damon's knees bouncing with Damon supporting him. He's got his fist in his mouth. They both are looking at each other with the same eyes.
"Yeah," I say quietly as he plays with him. I look up and I see them running through drills. "Stefan's good."
"Yeah, he is." Damon agrees. Tyler tackles him good. "Ouch that's gotta hurt in the morning."
"Yeah, Tyler got one big hit for his best friend after that I told him to let Matt and Elena's mistakes be their own." I explain.
"Good advice." He says.
Tyler and Stefan shake hands. I see Stefan pull off his glove and move his finger in a weird motion. Almost like he's popping it back into place.
"I hope Stefan's okay," I say worried.
"You are such a mom. He will be fine." Damon says.
"Alright, dad." I joke. He laughs.
"I should get going." He says seeming like he doesn't actually want to leave.
"Thanks for keeping me company." I say as he hands Blaise back and walks away. "He's not much for goodbyes huh?" I look at Blaise.
Later that evening I was watching Elena and Bonnie prep dinner while playing with Blaise on the counter.
"You explain it. Last night, I'm watching Nine-o, commercial breaks come on and I'm like, I bet it's that phone commercial. And sure enough, it's that guy and the girl with the bench, he flies to Paris, and he flies back. They take a picture." Bonnie says trying to explain her witchy powers.
"Oh, come on. That commercial's on a constant loop." Elena says not believing her.
"Fine. Well, how about this? Today I'm obsessed with numbers. 3 numbers. I keep seeing 8, 14, and 22. How weird is that?" Bonnie asks a little freaked out.
"Maybe we should play the lottery. Have you talked to your Grams?" Elena says not really understanding.
"She's just gonna say it's because I'm a witch. I don't want to be a witch. Do you want to be a witch?" Bonnie says.
"I don't want to be a witch." Elena agrees with Bonnie.
"Elena, you should be taking this a little more seriously. Bonnie is freaking out about this. Bonnie when you need to know, you will know. That's how the world works." I say trying to show her support. Elena pours the food in a to go bowl.
"And putting it in a nice bowl isn't fooling anybody." Bonnie says.
"Ok, serving spoons. Where are the serving spoons?" Elena asks the air.
"Middle drawer on your left." Bonnie replies like a boss. Elena opens the drawer and sees them.
"Ok, so you've been in this kitchen like a thousand times." Elena says grabbing them.
"Yeah, that's it." Bonnie says not really believing it
The doorbell goes off.
"Ok, he's here. Don't be nervous. Just be your normal loving self." Elena says nervously before going to get the door.
"Birthday candles." I say to Bonnie offering her a test.
She opens the drawer and birthday candles are there and I clap. We move into the dining room to eat. I put Blaise in his highchair that way he won't wiggle around, while I try to eat.
"Did Tanner give you a hard time today?" Elena asks Stefan.
"Well, he let me on the team, so I must have done something right." Stefan tells her.
"Bonnie, you should have seen Stefan today. Tyler threw a ball right at him, and..."
"Yeah, I heard." Bonnie interrupts Elena. This is really awkward. Why did I agree to stay here. I should have gone out with Ty.
"Why don't you tell Stefan about your family?" Elena says to Bonnie.
"Um, divorced. No mom. Live with my dad." Bonnie says quickly. This is way too awkward.
"No, about the witches. Bonnie's family has a lineage of witches. It's really cool." Elena says. That's not what she was saying earlier.
"Cool isn't the word I'd use." Bonnie admits.
"Well, it's certainly interesting. I'm not too versed, but I do know that there's a history of Celtic druids that migrated here in the 1800s." Stefan says trying to help ease the tension.
"My family came by way of Salem." Bonnie tells him.
"Really? Salem witches?" Stefan looks surprised.
"Yeah." She confirms.
"I would say that's pretty cool." Stefan compliments.
"Really? Why?" Bonnie asks.
"Salem witches are heroic examples of individualism and nonconformity." Stefan tells her.
"Yeah, they are." Bonnie agrees with a smile.
"That only fits you to a 'T'." I add in with a smile of my own turning back to Blaise. The doorbell goes off again.
"I wonder who that could be. Did you invite anyone Evie?" Elena asks me.
"Nope," I say popping the 'P'.
I go to the door with her, holding Blaise on my hip. Elena opens the door. Caroline and Damon are outside. Care is holding a cake.
"Surprise! Bonnie said you were doing dinner, so we brought dessert." Care says holding up the cake.
"Yum Cake." I say licking my lips.
"Oh." Is all Elena says. I give her a look of confusion. What's her issue?
"Hope you don't mind." Damon says.
"Of course not. Blaise loves cake." I say with a chuckle. Damon laughs at my pathetic joke.
"Are you sure it isn't his mom who loves cake?" He asks jokingly. I shrug my shoulders.
"What are you doing here?" Stefan asks walking up to the door.
"Waiting for Elena or Evie to invite me in." Damon says politely.
"Oh, yeah, you can..."
"No, no, no. He can't, uh...he can't stay. Can you, Damon?" Stefan says interrupting Elena. That's very strange.
"Get in here." Care says.
"We're just...finishing up." Stefan says slowly.
"It's fine. Just come on in." Elena finally invites him in
You have a beautiful home, Elena, Evie." Damon compliments looking around.
"Thank you." Elena and I reply at the same time. Damon takes Blaise when we sit down to eat the cake.
"Can Blaise have any?" Damon asks me while we are all eating.
"He can have a small amount of icing, but not much. He can't actually eat the cake though. Not enough teeth." I tell him.
He takes some icing on his finger and allows Blaise to take his hand and put it in his mouth. Blaise's eyes go wide and then he squeals at the taste. My baby's first taste of cake. I can't deny Damon does look good holding Blaise.
"Blaise looks more like Damon's baby then he does yours Evie." Caroline comments.
"Damon and I were just saying that earlier today." I say with a laugh.
"That's crazy," Care says.
"I didn't know you and Damon started dating." I say surprised. She usually tells me these things.
"We aren't." She says giving me a tell you later look. I nod. After eating we head into the living room. I bring another slice of cake with me to eat in there as well.
"Got enough cake, Evie?" Elena jokes.
"Naw, need lots more." I joke back.
Damon still has Blaise who is just playing with a spoon in his lap. I grab a chewing toy and give it to him. He immediately starts to chew and play. He also shows it to Damon by shoving it in his face causing Damon to have to lean back a bit to avoid getting smacked in the face with a soggy toy. I chuckle. He gives Blaise an exited happy look. One of wow and awe. Blaise smiles and shoves it back in his mouth.
"I cannot believe that Mr. Tanner let you on the team. Tyler must be seething. But good for you. Go for it." Care says when I tune back in from watching Damon and my son.
"That's what I always tell him. You have to engage. You can't just sit there and wait for life to come to you. You have to go get it." Damon says.
"Yeah, Elena wasn't so lucky today. It's only because you missed summer camp. God, I don't know how you're ever going to learn the routines." Care tells us.
"I'll work with her. She'll get it." Bonnie volunteers.
"I guess we can put her in the back." Care plans out loud.
"You know, you don't seem like the cheerleader type, Elena." Damon points out.
"Oh, it's just 'cause her parents died. Yeah, I mean, she's just totally going through a blah phase. She used to be way more fun. And I say that with complete sensitivity." Care says when we give her scandalized looks.
"I'm sorry, Elena. I know what it's like to lose both your parents. In fact, Stefan and I have watched almost every single person we've ever cared about die." Damon says bringing down the mood.
"We don't need to get into that right now, Damon." Stefan tells him trying to save the mood of the party.
"Oh, you know what, you're right, Stef. I'm sorry. The last thing I wanted to do was bring her up. Mmm." Damon says.
I think he's bringing up Katherine again. If I had to guess she meant more to him then to Stefan as Stefan barely brings her up. Damon brings her up a lot. I head to the kitchen to put my plate in the dishwasher and clean the other dishes. Elena comes to join me.
"One more." Damon says coming up behind us holding a glass in one hand and Blaise in the other.
"Oh, thank you." Elena says. Damon hands Elena a glass but drops it and quickly catches it.
"Nice save." Elena says.
"Yeah, I won't have to vacuum with fear of Blaise getting cut." I say taking a breath out.
"I like you. You know how to laugh. And you make Stefan smile, which is something I haven't seen in a very long time." Damon says to Elena after smiling at me.
"Earlier, did you mean...Katherine?" Elena asks shoving her nose into Damon and Stefan's business.
"Mm-hmm." Damon confirms.
"How did she die?" Elena asks.
"In a fire. Tragic fire." Damon answers.
"Recently?" Elena questions.
"It seems like it was yesterday." Thank was a very evasive none answer he gave.
"What was she like?" Elena asks. I keep washing the dishes trying to seem like I'm not listening.
"She was beautiful. A lot like you in that department. She was also very complicated and selfish and at times not very kind, but very sexy and seductive." Damon tells her.
"So, which one of you dated her first?" Elena asks figuring out what I did.
"Nicely deduced. Ask Stefan. I'm sure his answer differs from mine. I'd quit cheerleading if I were you." Damon tells her.
"Why do you say that?" Elena asks confused.
"Oh, I saw you at practice. You looked miserable." Damon says.
"You saw that?" Ellie asks him.
"Am I wrong?" He shoots back.
"I used to love it. It was fun. Things are different this year. Everything that used to matter doesn't anymore." Elena finally admits.
"Things have changed Ellie. As much as we don't want them to. They did. Only thing we can do is react." I add in. She gives me a smile.
"So, don't let it. Quit, move on. Problem solved. Ta-da." Damon advises.
"Some things could matter again." Elena says still trying to hold on to the past.
"Maybe. But...seems a little unrealistic to me." Damon says probably speaking from experience.
"I'm sorry. About Katherine. You lost her, too." Elena says sympathetically.
"Hey. Need some help?" Bonnie asks walking into the kitchen.
"Sure, why not?" Damon says.
At the football game a few days later. I'm with Elena and Stefan. Just holding Blaise watching their conversation but not including myself. I'm looking for Tyler.
"Ooh. Look at you. You look hot in your jersey." Elena compliments Stefan.
"What happened? No more cheerleader?" Stefan asks.
"I quit. I'm a quitter." Elena admits.
"No, hey, you're not a quitter. You suffered a great loss. You're not the same person. You should be looking ahead. You should be starting over. Ok? I hope you don't think this is too soon or too weird, but...I, uh, I wanted you to have this." Stefan says opening a box with a necklace in it. Elena takes it out.
"Oh, my God, it's beautiful." Elena says.
"It's something that I've had forever, and, uh, I've never wanted to give it to anyone until now. I'd very much like it if you'd wear it for me, for...good luck." Stefan tells her.
"Is that rose that I smell?" Elena asks smelling the necklace.
"No, it's, uh...it's an herb. It's nice, huh?" Stefan asks getting flustered.
"I love it." Elena tells him. Stefan helps her put it on.
"And, uh, I wanted to thank you for pushing me to try out for the team. It feels really good." Stefan tells her.
"We're a pair. I quit; you start." Elena says.
"Right. We're a work in progress. We'll figure it out." Stefan replies. Elena gives him a kiss as Caroline walks up.
"And you're not in uniform because..." Caroline asks her. I walk away finding Tyler.
"Wait, wait, wait, Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Wait. Let's be honest here. In the past, we used to let other teams come into our town and roll right over us!" Tanner gives the speech and the crowd boos. All the football players are standing around him. "But that is about to change." The crowd cheers. "We've got some great new talent tonight starting on the offense, and I'm gonna tell you right now, it has been a long time since I have seen a kid like this with hands like these. Let's give it up for Stefan Salvatore!"
"This blows. He can't start the guy. He just got here." I hear Tyler say to Matt.
"That have been waiting for us to put a check in the win column, I have only one thing to say to you...Your Timberwolves are hungry." Tanner keeps announcing. I walk over to Vicki meeting Tyler there
"Hey, babe. What's wrong?" Vicki asks.
"Nothing." Tyler replies.
"And the central high lions are what's for dinner!" Tanner keeps talking in my background.
"Is that Jeremy?" Tyler asks seeing Jer. He walks over to Jer
"Wait, no! Ty! No. Leave him alone." Vicki yells walking after him
"Ty! Enough!" I say trying to grab a hold of him and not have Blaise get hit.
"Oh, what do you care? Don't look so down. You can have her when I'm done." Tyler says pissed off. Jer hits him and they start to fight.
"Tyler, stop it! Tyler! Tyler, stop! Stop it! Stop, you're hurting him! Tyler! Tyler, stop! Tyler! Stop it! Tyler, stop!" Vicki just yells. Stefan grabs Tyler's wrist stopping him from hitting Jer.
"Hey, he's down! Enough!" Stefan exclaims.
Tyler goes to hit Stefan, but I step in the way not realizing he's about to hit Stefan and get hit instead. I hit the ground. I curl around Blaise on the way down that way he won't hit the ground. Blaise starts to scream, and Tyler looks terrified. I turn and see Jeremy grab a piece of broken glass and go to strike Tyler. Stefan puts his hand in the way, and it cuts him.
"Jeremy, no!" Elena exclaims running over.
"Tyler, knock it off! Stop!" Matt says grabbing Ty.
"What the hell, Jeremy? Put your head up, you're bleeding." Elena tells Jeremy grabbing his head and tilting it up.
"I'm fine!" Jeremy exclaims pulling away.
"Yeah, you smell fine." Elena says sarcastically.
"Just stop, ok?" Jeremy says walking away.
"Come on, man. Come on." Matt says to Ty taking him away.
"Oh, my God, your hand." Elena exclaims. He closes his palm and puts it behind his back and suspiciously.
"No, no, no, it's fine." Stefan says.
"Is it deep? How bad is it? Come on!" Elena insists grabbing his hand and opening his hand. There is no cut though. "But...I saw it, it was..."
"He missed. It's not my blood. See? I'm fine." Stefan says. "Evie are you okay?"
"Yeah, Blaise and I are good." I say standing up still trying to make Blaise feel better.
"No, no, no. I... I saw it. The glass cut your hand. It was..." Elena keeps trying to insist.
"It's ok. I'm ok. It's almost kick-off time, all right? So, um, I'll, uh, I'll see you after the game." Stefan says quickly disappearing to the game.
Blaise finally calms down and we go watch the game. After the game we go walk around then head back to my car. I finish buckling Blaise in, and Tanner comes up to us.
"Evelyn, how are you?" He asks.
"I'm good. How are you?" I ask in return. I'm immediately suspicious of what's going on. He keeps stepping closer to me. He has me pinned against my car. "Can I help you?"
"You know what you do. Flirting with me constantly." He says. He kisses me and I try to push him off.
"I wasn't flirting with you." I say fighting to try to get him off. He has pinned my arms to the car and my legs with his body. I hear Blaise crying and screaming. "Get off me!"
"You want me," he insists.
"No, I don't!" I yell. Suddenly he's thrown off me. I see Damon and he lightly puts his hands on my shoulders.
"You okay?" He asks me.
"I think so." I say with a shaky voice.
"Is Blaise okay?" He asks concerned.
"Yeah, he was in the car." I say while opening the car door to get him out to calm him.
Damon takes him right away and bounces him while shushing him. Blaise calms down almost right away. Damon turns him to cradle him and gives him his hand and Blaise puts Damon's finger in his mouth. Damon seems to calm with this normal gesture. He hands Blaise back and walks away. Tanner has long since run away. We head back home then go to sleep.
Damon's POV
After killing Tanner for almost assaulting Evie, I head to her room. I crawl in through her window. I stand over Blaise's crib and watch him sleep. He has to be my son, but how. Vampires can't procreate though we love to try. He shouldn't be possible. But he has to be mine. After I slept with her, I compelled her to forget and head home. She didn't get the chance to sleep with someone else. Blaise also looks exactly like me.
I keep watching Blaise sleeping remember how I killed Tanner to protect him and his mom. I played it off as being out of control to Stefan, but I had to protect them. I don't understand why I have such strong feelings for her. But I do. I wanted Katherine for so long, but it all faded when I met her.
Blaise makes cooing noises while he sleeps. I touch his hair. Just wanting to be in his presence a little longer. I walk over to Evie and run my fingers through her hair. She starts to stir so I leave out the window. Heading back the way I came. I need to contact a witch to find out how I was able to sire Blaise.
