It was a beautiful day today, Muriel was inside making dinner, while Eustace was asleep in his chair, Shaggy and Scooby were both sitting on the porch eating Scooby Snacks, Courage was out in the yard licking a huge bone.
'Huh?' Courage suddenly said looking up from his bone, when he heard the sound of thunder startled the cowardly pink beagle, he looked ahead of him and saw a strange sight.
Standing about twenty feet from the pink beagle was a dark-skinned lady wearing a white toga though Courage could not tell from where it would be from. She had orange hair, blue eyes, green lip stick and black and gold boots. But what really stood out was the fact that there was an actual cloud above her that was raining, thunder and lightning also came from it as well.
Courage saw that the lady was crying, but stopped when she spotted Courage and stopped crying, she seemed to jump in joy before running towards the little beagle. The storm cloud above her seemed to spin around in a circle before following her.
Courage had bitten through his bone in fear, he then got up and tried to run back to the house.
"SHAGGY! SCOOBY! HELP ME!" Courage screamed in terror as the lady caught up to him and picked him.
Shaggy and Scooby both looked up and saw the lady holding Courage, while the beagle struggled to escape from the lady's grip.
"Courage!/Rourage!" Shaggy and Scooby shouted, as they both got up to help their best friend.
"Like hey, let our best pal go!" Shaggy demanded.
The lady ignore the cowardly teen and only started cuddling and spinning around with him.
"Sweet doggy," the lady said as she put Courage back on the ground.
Shaggy and Scooby also noticed that the cloud above her was no longer raining and now calm, it also seemed to shrink down in size as well.
The lady then threw the ball on the ground where it rolled a bit. "Fetch the ball, you precious creature. Go ahead."
Courage just stood there, frozen with fear. Shaggy and Scooby, who both saw how uncomfortable the pink beagle was, took action and stood with the poor scared beagle.
"Rourage, does not want to play with you," Scooby growled, at the lady.
The trio then heard the door to the house open, turning around, the three saw Muriel smiling at the trio.
"Shaggy, Scooby, Courage, you made a friend," Muriel said looking towards the lady.
Courage seemed to be shaking his head, "N-N-No."
"Please, come in and have a cup of tea," Muriel offered.
Shaggy, Scooby and Courage ran up to Muriel.
"Like, Aunt Muriel, I don't think that such a good idea," Shaggy cautioned.
"Reah, the lady keeps looking at Rourage funny," Scooby added, with a snarl.
"And she has a thundercloud on her head!" Courage warned, as he transformed into a storm cloud.
"I'd love to," the lady said happily, she then walked into the farmhouse follow by head cloud and Muriel.
Courage screamed in horror.
"Like, oh boy," Shaggy groaned, putting his hand on his head and turning to the dogs. "Come on dudes, let's go, to make sure Aunt Muriel doesn't get in trouble."
"Rnd to make sure that storm lady doesn't do anything to Rourage!" Scooby added, with growl, determined to protect the little beagle.
In the kitchen, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage were all sitting at the table to keep an eye on the lady, while Muriel was having a conversation with her.
"No, Muriel, the life of a goddess isn't always so heavenly," the goddess told Muriel with a frown as she rested her arms on the table.
"I suppose being a goddess isn't easy,"Muriel said as she raised her pot and tea cup to pour some herself some more tea.
But it was a bit harder as the storm above the goddess' head seemed to pick up and strong winds started to blow around.
"Oh, it's just, that I lost my precious dog, Duncan," the goddess responded with sadness, as she covers her face in sorrow.
"Duncan?/Runcan?" Shaggy, Scooby and Courage asked.
"Oh, my, I know just how you feel. If I ever lost Courage, I don't know what I do,"Muriel said, not liking that thought.
"Like, I feel ya Aunt Muriel, I don't what I do if I ever lost Scoob," Shaggy agreed, while petting his Great Dane's head.
"Raww, Raggy," Scooby smiled.
"Actually Muriel, your dog reminds me of Duncan," the goddess said, pointing to Courage, she then pulled out a heart shaped picture frame. And inside it was a picture of another pink beagle, she then handed it to Muriel. "Isn't the resemblance uncanny?"
Shaggy and Scooby looked over the photo, the dog really did not look like Courage. A few shared traits maybe like the color fur but aside from that nothing.
"Oh, yes, they look exactly alike," Muriel said with a smile, as she handed back the picture.
"I miss him so much," the goddess said, as she took back the photo and hugged it.
But as she did so, thunder and lightning came from the cloud above everyone, the wind started to pick up even more so. Cabinets started opening and shutting by the force of the wind, while pans started to fly around.
"My, we're getting a nice breeze today. Shaggy, be a dear and close the window," Muriel asked her nephew, completely unaware that the storm is actually inside the house.
Either way, Shaggy got up and went to the window and closed it, but he tensed up when the teenager heard Muriel get up in shock. "OH!"
Shaggy quickly turned around and saw that Muriel was standing up in shock, looking past her, Shaggy saw that the goddess had gotten up as well but also picked up Courage and was now cuddling against him.
The storm had picked up even more as pans and pots were flying all over the place. The table also suddenly flew to the wall with the chairs now being in the air.
"Rey, let go of Rourage!" Scooby growled at the goddess.
"So, where will you be looking for your dog, then?" Muriel demanded with her hands on her hips.
Courage all the while was trying to escape her grip, but was having little luck in doing so. "SHAGGY! SCOOBY! HELP!"
"Put the little pink dude down! Can't you like, see he doesn't want to be held!" Shaggy rebuked.
"You wouldn't mind if I take Courage out for some air, would you?" the goddess asked as she continued to cuddle Courage, she then began to turn around walk to the door.
Courage panicked even more and tried to grab onto the walls only to rip down the wallpaper.
"We're coming Courage!/Re're coming Rourage!" Shaggy and Scooby shouted, as they both ran out the door to help their best friend.
The door then opened and quickly slammed shut when everyone exited through the door with the storm following the goddess.
The family and the storm goddess were all sitting down in the dining room, they're eating dinner which was spaghetti and meatballs. However, no one aside from Shaggy, Scooby and Eustace was actually eating. Shaggy, Scooby and Muriel were all carefully watching the storm goddess who was staring intently at Courage. After the incident in the kitchen earlier, Shaggy and Scooby both had kept an eye on the goddess since then.
It seemed that the goddess, might run off with Courage at any moment. Luckily, all she did was play fetch with Courage. But Shaggy and Scooby still felt like she might try to do so at any moment.
"Good doggy, sweet doggy!" the goddess said, as she rubbed Courage's arm.
"Please don't touch me," Courage whined, clearly uncomfortable with the goddess touching her, especially when he saw Muriel had her arms crossed angrily. She apparently was not liking the goddess and all the time she spent with Courage.
"Lousy dogs, sitting at the table!" Eustace complained angrily.
"Like Scoob always sits at the table at my house," Shaggy defended, back at his home in Coolsville, his parents are perfectly fine with Scooby sitting at the table.
"Blah, blah, blah," Eustace snapped, not caring what his nephew has to say.
"Be nice Eustace, they're not just dogs their family," Muriel scolded, before turning to Courage, who looking down after Eustace's comment. "Don't be bashful Courage, after all, when supper's over, your friend will be leaving, and you will never see her again."
"I just can't imagine never seeing my sweet Dunc—OH! Courage—Again," the goddess exclaimed suddenly.
"Big deal," Eustace exclaimed while trying to get his fork with spaghetti to his mouth, only for it to fly off his fork and hit him in the glasses, which made Scooby chuckle a bit.
"I mean, he'll always be with me," the goddess clarified as she looked down before looking back at Courage.
"I understand, we're terribly close," Muriel said motioning to Courage who puffed out his chest and nodded proudly.
"Reah, Rourage is our best friend," Scooby agreed.
"And our pal," Shaggy added, proudly.
"NO, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!" the goddess shouted, as she got and slammed her hands on the table.
"Blah, blah, blah!" Eustace complained as he raised his spoon which had two meatballs on it, only for them to fly out and hit him in the glasses again. Making a comedic look on him for a minute before being wiped away.
"I'M TAKING HIM WITH ME!" the goddess suddenly yelled.
"WHAT!?/RHAT!?" Shaggy, Scooby and Courage asked, in shock.
"But, I don't wanna go with you!" Courage whined, not wanting to go to who knows where with that storm lady.
"I-I-I don't think so. You can't have Courage!" Muriel defied as she got up from her chair to stare down the storm goddess, but she did not back down.
"Reah, just because you lost your dog, doesn't mean you can take Rourage from us!" Scooby growled.
"HE'S MY DOG AND THAT'S THAT!" the goddess exclaimed, as she folded her arms angrily.
"No way-ZOINKS!" Shaggy began trying to defend the pink beagle, only to have to dodge out of his seat as some forks and knives came flying at his face.
"HUNGRY!" Eustace suddenly shouted, only for a plate full of spaghetti and meatballs to hit him in the face. This time, all the spaghetti wrapped all around his face like he was a mummy with the meatballs being where his eyes were.
Had this been in any other situation, Shaggy and Scooby would have laughed out loud at Eustace's expense.
"YOU'LL HAVE TO GO NOW!" Muriel shouted at the goddess.
"YES!" Courage shouted, in agreement and happiness.
"NOT WITHOUT MY DOG!" the goddess threatened.
"NO!" Courage exclaimed, frightened.
At this point, the storm had gotten even more intense to the point it felt like being in an actual tornado.
"Rh, guys," Scooby said, getting his best friends attention, as he pointed up the ceiling.
"HE'S, MY DOG!" Muriel yelled at her.
"HE'S, MY DOG!" the goddess yelled back.
"OH, NO! HE'S MINE!" Muriel yelled again.
At this point, everything was flying around, food, plates, utensils and chairs were flying all over the place. The storm now had thunder and lightning.
"Like, the storm is getting worse!" Shaggy exclaimed, in fright.
"RURIEL WATCH OUT!" Scooby cried out, in a warning.
Seeing some spoons and knives getting dangerously close to Muriel, Courage leapt at them and tried to keep them away. Only to be sent flying to the floor and possibly through it when he got hit by a plate of food, but Shaggy managed to catch him in time before he did.
"THE DOG IS MINE!" the goddess calmly said again.
At this point now, everything was in the air. Nothing was on the ground and it seemed like it was only to get worse.
"No dinner, no nothing," Eustace grumbled as his food was sent flying away from him.
Only for his hat to be sent flying away a moment later.
"What's huh?" Eustace asked, as he saw his hat flying away. He got up and tried to catch it. Only to be stuck in midair. "OH! Wicket!"
"MINE!" Muriel yelled again.
"MINE!" the goddess yelled back again.
Eustace chuckled when he managed to grab his hat again, only to become embarrassed when the wind ripped his clothes off of him except his underwear. He then used his hat to cover his private area.
"Like, I can never unseen that," Shaggy cringed.
'Same here.' Courage agreed.
Shaggy, Scooby and Courage then turned to the two ladies and saw that they were both up in each other's face now.
"Ruh Roh!" Scooby exclaimed, in alarm.
"MINE!" Muriel shouted again.
"MINE!" the goddess shouted back again.
Eustace, then had hit his head on the furnace. "OW!" he exclaimed, in pain.
Shaggy, Scooby and Courage suddenly heard tearing coming from the walls.
"ZOINKS! THE HOUSE IS ABOUT TO FLY AWAY!" Shaggy exclaimed, in terror.
"This is bad. OH NO! MURIEL!" Courage shouted, realizing Muriel was about to fly away as soon as the house rips apart.
"Ruick, get a rope!" Scooby quickly told Courage.
Courage nodded and pulled out a rope and tied it to Muriel's foot, while Shaggy tied it to the furnace that is somehow surviving all this. And just in time as well, since Muriel, without realizing it, was staring to float in the air from how string the winds are getting.
"MINE!" Muriel shouted again.
"MINE!" the goddess shouted back.
And with each passing second, the storm intensified until, the house flew away along with everything else except the furnace.
"ZOINKS!" Shaggy screamed in terror, when the house flew away along with everything else except the furnace.
'OH NO! MUREIL!' Courage shouted as he grabbed the rope to keep Muriel tied down, only to be sent flying into the air as well.
"ROURAGE!" Scooby cried, as he grabbed onto the little pink beagle, only to be sent flying.
"SCOOBY!" Shaggy shouted, tried to hold him down by grabbing his feet, unfortunately, the winds were so strong that the cowardly teen was sent into the air as well.
With the only thing that kept the three here and not sent flying away was the rope that we tied to Muriel and the furnace, the trio, screamed in fear, as the wind picked up even stronger.
"MINE!" Muriel yelled, oblivious to the fact that she was flying in the air.
"MINE!" the goddess yelled back, oblivious to the fact that her storm destroyed the farmhouse and that Shaggy, Scooby and Courage were in the air holding onto the rope.
"Zoinks! What are we going to do!?"Shaggy asked, as he held on to the rope while watching an anchor, a black duck with a paper boat on his head and an accordion fly past him.
"I don't kn—OOF!" Courage began to answer, only to stop when something hit him in the face, the beagle grabbed to see what it was and realized that it was the picture of Duncan. It instantly gave Courage an idea on how to stop this. "We gotta find the Duncan."
"Row?" Scooby asked.
"All we gotta do is look around and ask," Courage explained.
"Like, we better do it fast or Aunt Muriel is a goner for sure!" Shaggy pointed out.
"All we gotta do is follow the wind," Courage said.
"Wind?/Rind?" Shaggy and Scooby questioned, not know what Courage was going for.
"Hang on guys!" Courage felt fear and dread creep into him, but he knew he and his friends have to do this.
Shaggy, Scooby and Courage hang onto to each other and Courage let go of the rope and all sent into the storm.
In China, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage saw that a man with an orange outfit. The cowardly trio approached him and saw that he was meditating, taking out the picture, Courage showed it to him.
"Like, have you seen this dog calm dude?" Shaggy asked.
The man leaned in to look closely at picture, before shaking his head.
"Darn it!" Shaggy complained.
Next, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage were in India, where the trio saw a little girl was nearby licking an ice cream cone.
"Rxcuse us little girl, have you seen this dog?" Scooby asked her, as Courage showed her the picture.
She leaned in to have a closer look, before shaking her head.
"Rlast," Scooby complained.
Next, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage went to Paris, eventually finding a couple nearby making out. The three best friends approached them, where Courage tapped on the man while showing the photo.
"Um, have you seen this dog?" Courage asked.
The couple stopped kissing to look at the photo before shaking their heads saying they haven't seen the dog.
"Yuck!/Ruck!" Shaggy, Scooby and Courage said, grossed out at seeing the lady's face was a bit ugly.
The cowardly trio were now in 'Burgers Really Cheap.' Shaggy and Scooby were both eating huge burgers they had ordered, while Courage is drinking the root beer he ordered.
"Like oh man, what are we gonna do?" Shaggy asked, as he ate his burger.
"Reah, we've been looking for three days, and still nothing," Scooby added, as he also ate his burger.
"Well, he's gotta be somewhere," Courage pointed out, as he continued to look at the picture. "We can't just vanished into thin air."
"Hey, I've seen that dog," a voice suddenly said while pointing to the picture.
Turning to it, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage saw that it came from Charlie the mouse. Courage suddenly lunged at him.
"WHERE!? WHERE!?"/RHERE!? RHERE!?" Shaggy, Scooby and Courage frantically asked, while Courage grabbed onto Charlie's shirt.
"Take it easy, take it easy," Charlie told Courage before pointing to the sewer that was outside. "He went down that sewer."
"The sewer, why not?" Courage sighed, sarcastically.
"Come on dudes," Shaggy told the dogs as he dashed out of the diner and to the manhole.
Seeing a shovel nearby, Shaggy picked it up and used it to move the manhole over, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage looked down the hole to see if they could see the bottom.
"Like, do you see a bottom yet guys?" Shaggy asked, as he squinted his eyes, at the dark.
"No, but-" Courage began, before he, Shaggy and Scooby lost their footing and fall down the sewer.
Shaggy, Scooby and Courage fell down for a few seconds before the three landed in the filthy water of the sewer.
"Ruck!" Scooby cringed in disgust at the water.
"Like, dudes, there's a boat," Shaggy pointed at a boat nearby.
Scooby held onto Courage, as he and Shaggy swam to the boat and Scooby placed him inside. He then helped Shaggy and Scooby into the boat as well, But as soon as the three were in, the boat mysteriously moved by itself.
"Duncan! Duncan!/Runcan! Runcan!" Shaggy, Scooby and Courage began to shout hoping that the dog would hear it, but so far nothing.
"Row are we gonna find Runcan in this place?" Scooby asked.
"Like, I don't know Scoob but-" Shaggy began, before hearing something. "Like dudes, do you hear something?"
"Yeah, it sounds like a-" Courage began, only to freeze in terror.
"A WATERFALL/RA WATERFALL!" Shaggy, Scooby and Courage shouted in terror.
Shaggy, Scooby and Courage grabbed onto each other in terror. A split second later, the three best friends were going down the water fall yelling for their lives. After a good three second drop, the three hit water again. Courage felt his head exploding from pain, as he smashed into something hard. The world around him spun, and the air turned bright white. And he blacked out.
Courage was knocked out by the impact as Scooby grabbed onto him, so he won't drown, unfortunately, this was not a good thing as the trio landed in what is essentially a whirlpool.
"RAGGY!" Scooby cried, as he took a breath, before and was pulled underneath the water.
"SCOOBY!" Shaggy screamed, as he also took a breath and was pulled under as well.
The cowardly trio were all underwater, Shaggy and Scooby struggle to hold their breath, feeling their lungs would explode from lack of air. Scooby continued to hold onto Courage, as he was still unconscious from the impact.
It look like, the three best friends would drown, luckily, it seemed fate was watching out for them today for soon after being sucked into the water, the cowardly trio came out of the pipe because it had a large hole in.
Shaggy and Scooby were both coughing and gasping, as they both took lungfuls of air.
"Like, are you okay Scoob?" Shaggy asked, as he coughed and gasped for breath.
"Reah, I'm good," Scooby replied, out of breath.
The both turned to Courage, who was still knocked out, unmoving, and not breathing.
"Courage!/Rourage!" Shaggy and Scooby cried.
Scooby ran mechanically to him and slid on the ground on his knees, when he got close enough to the pink beagle. He lifted Courage up and quickly placed a head onto Courage's chest. There was a heartbeat, it was small, but still there.
"Raggy, he's not breathing!" Scooby cried.
"Oh no! Is he-" Shaggy gasped.
Scooby didn't hear what Shaggy had to say, as the Great Dane laid the pink beagle gently on the concrete floor. Scooby then placed his paws onto Courage's chest and began chest compressions. Shaggy watched this unfold, filled with worry, that Courage might not wake up.
After about twenty chest compressions, Courage's eyes flew open, and he coughed, water gushing out of his mouth. He spluttered, as he sat up, his eyes teary. His chest ached, and he gasped for air desperately. His head pounded painfully and he laid back down on the ground, squeezing his eyes shut again, so he barley saw anything. Finally he started to opened them a little bit started up at his two worried and concerned faces of his two best friends.
"Rourage, are you okay?" Scooby asked, looking at the pink beagle in concerned, while patting his back.
"Y-Yeah, I'm okay," Courage answered groggily, try to clear his raw throat.
"Like, don't you scare us like that!" Shaggy said.
"Will do," Courage answered weakly, with a smile, in a effort to calm the worried teen down.
Suddenly, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage tensed up when a mysterious voice suddenly spoke up in an almost heavenly tone.
"BEHOLD THE GOD BONE! BUT DO NOT LICK THE GOD BONE!" the voice spoke.
The trio looked up and saw the mother of all bones, it was big enough to easily crush someone to pieces.
"FOR HE WHO LICKETH THE GOD BONE, SHALL LIKETH THE GOD BONE! AND NEVER CEASE FROM LICKING. IT'S JUST THAT GOOD!" the voice spoke before going eerily silent again.
"Yeah, not convinced that could possibly exist," Courage said not believing one word.
"Rey, do you guys hear that?" Scooby asked, as a loud licking sound began to fill the room. Shaggy, Scooby and Courage walked around the room and found out that the source of the licking was the dog we were looking for.
"DUNCAN!/RUNCAN!" Shaggy, Scooby and Courage shouted happily.
"Me and Scooby will get him off the bone, Shaggy try and find a way out of here," Courage instructed.
Shaggy give a nod of acknowledgement, and looked around the room for a bit.
"Scooby, help me get Duncan!" Courage told, the Great Dane.
"Rokay," Scooby obeyed, as he and Courage began and try to pull Duncan away from the bone.
"Re's not coming off," Scooby grunted.
"Keep pulling Scoob," Courage grunted.
Suddenly a heavenly scent was send into Scooby and Courage's noses and stare at the bone.
"Rou know Rourage, that bone looks….so juicy….and sweet," Scooby said, in a droned out voice, his mouth began to drool as he licked his lips hungrily.
Courage try to held his tongue and fighting the temptation, "Yeah, that bone looks yummy," he said, zoning out.
The two dogs then, began to lick the bone. Meanwhile, Shaggy was disappointed to see no exit to this place aside from how we entered, and he was not sure if it would be a good idea to go back into that pipe. Shaggy then gasped in horror, as he saw that bones that belong to dogs that must have belong to dogs trapped here.
It only took the cowardly teen split second to realize why they were here, they fell to the dog bone. "Oh no, SCOOBY COURAGE!"
Courage meanwhile licking, suddenly thought about Muriel and how she'll turned into a skeleton, if they're not back with Duncan in time. Gasping Courage then began to pull on his tongue.
"Must….not…lick," Courage grunted, as he struggle to get his tongue off the bone, he try to use a metal claw to pull his tongue but it didn't work. He tried to use a metal stretcher, but it didn't work either.
Shaggy quickly turned around and ran back to Courage to see that he was wrestling with his tongue.
Courage then pulled out a feather and started to tickle his tongue, that manage to work as he managed to tie his tongue in a knot and force it back into his mouth.
"Did you find an exit Shaggy?" Courage asked spotting the teen.
"No, but dude, he have you like, get Scooby to stop licking the bone, before he's ends up like the other dogs!" Shaggy said, with alarm.
"Other dogs?" Courage asked, nervously.
"Like, I saw the skeletons out of dogs man," Shaggy exclaimed, with worry.
"Oh no, we have get Scooby to stop licking before, he becomes the next victim," Courage said, frantically, shivered, that he almost feel victim to the bone too.
Shaggy then thought of something that might get Scooby to stop licking, "Like, I know what to do little pink dude," he said, as he pulled out a box of Scooby Snacks.
"Shaggy, this is no time for snacking!" Courage snapped, on how can Shaggy think of eating at a time like this.
"Just trust me little pink dude," Shaggy insisted, before calling to Scooby. "Scooby! Would you stop for a Scooby Snack?"
Scooby kept licking the bone, not hearing Shaggy.
"Would you stop for two Scooby Snacks?" Shaggy asked.
Scooby still didn't hear his owner.
"How about the whole box?" Shaggy asked, again.
Scooby suddenly turned and saw the box of Scooby Snacks "Reah!" he said, his tongue away from the bone. He ran, as he Shaggy handed the box and Scooby dumped all the Scooby Snacks into his mouth.
Courage was shocked at this, "Wow Shaggy, I can't believe that worked."
"Like I always say little pink dude, never underestimated the power of a Scooby Snack," Shaggy said, proudly. "By the way, how did you resisted the bone?"
"Sometimes, you think inside yourself and remind yourself of the important things you have to do," Courage replied.
"Rike saving Ruriel?" Scooby asked, as he finished the box.
"Uh Huh, the people that I love are what motivate me to protect them from danger," Courage declared.
"Like, that's some real courage," Shaggy commented. Like, no wonder Aunt Muriel named him Courage.
"Rome on, we gotta get Runcan back to the Roddess," Scooby said.
Courage nodded and before somehow, picking up the entire bone and heading to the pipe again, Courage had just placed down the bone to catch his breath. Shaggy and Scooby were both about to ask him if he needed help, when Shaggy suddenly heard a rustling sound behind him follow by a tap on my shoulder.
Turning around nervously, Shaggy saw that the bones of the dogs had come together and were now acting as guardians to the bone. "ZOINKS!"
They then started beating Shaggy up with the bones.
"SHAGGY!/RAGGY!" Scooby and Courage cried.
Courage then, came through for the cowardly teen, "Hey dog skeletons? Batter Up!" Courage then used the bone as a weapon to destroy the dog bone guards.
"Alright Courage!/Rlright Rourage!" Scooby and Shaggy cheered.
"Well celebrate later, right now we gotta get back home and give Duncan back to the storm goddess," Courage said, before raised the bone to the ceiling and began to spin it at a very face pace, making the bone essentially act like a drill.
After a good ten minutes, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage began to make progress through the ceiling and they all eventually made it to the surface again. All dirty but that did not matter right. Looking up, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage saw that the storm goddess was still yelling at Muriel.
"MINE!" Muriel yelled again.
"MINE!" the goddess yelled back.
"HEY! WE GOT SOMEONE FOR YOU!" Shaggy shouted at her.
The storm goddess noticed the trio and and see her dog, as well.
"Duncan," the goddess cheered happily with the storm dying down immediately, she then kneeled down next to the bone. "Good doggy."
But then everyone noticed something really bad, Duncan ignored her and kept on licking the bone.
"Oh, no," Courage exclaimed.
"Oh man," Shaggy groaned, in dismay.
"Re're too late," Scooby said, in despair.
"You love that bone more than me, oh, how could you?" the goddess said angrily, before weeping a bit before looking to Courage again. "Good doggy, sweet doggy."
"Roh no!" Scooby cried.
"Courage!" Shaggy shouted, in despair.
Courage was struggling to get out of the storm goddess' arms now what? They rescue Duncan all for nothing, he turned to the thin beagle and notice he was staring at him and his owner, while still licking at the bone, an idea popped into his head. "Follow my lead," he whispered to Shaggy and Scooby.
Shaggy and Scooby both looked at each other and had no idea what Courage was up to, but nodded, trusting him.
Courage allowed himself to be picked up by the storm goddess, she then cuddled him with Courage hugging and licking her back.
Muriel suddenly screamed, Shaggy and Scooby both immediately ran over to her and helped her up.
Muriel then noticed that the storm goddess was holding and cuddling Courage again, but saw Courage wink at her.
"Play along Aunt Muriel," Shaggy whispered to his aunt.
Muriel smiled, "That's my Courage."
Courage then kept licking the goddess but stopped when the pink beagle heard a loud almost demonic growl, looking towards Duncan, Courage saw that he was becoming extremely jealous. It's working!
Duncan soon stopped licking the bone before turning around and barking at the storm goddess, he then jumped into the goddess' arms sending Courage flying into Shaggy's.
"That was unexpected," Courage said as the teen lowered him to the ground.
"Like, sure was little pink dude," Shaggy said, agreeing with him.
"Oh, Duncan, my sweet Duncan, you come back to me," the goddess said, as she ran off with her dog and cloud in tow. "Good doggy, sweet doggy, understanding doggy."
The family just started at the goddess for several seconds, before Shaggy broke the silence, "So…who's hungry?"

The family were sitting in what used to be the living room, Muriel was in her chair with Courage on her lap. Shaggy and Scooby were both on Eustace's chair which Scooby found nearby. They were all resting while watching the sun come up over the horizon.
"Isn't it grand you boys? Everybody got what they wanted," Muriel asked with a smile.
Courage answered with a chuckle as he lifted the dog bone with a smile and began to lick it.
"Rey, save some for me," Scooby chuckled, as he also licked the giant bone.
"All's wells that ends well," Shaggy said, as he ate some Scooby Snacks.
"You said it," Courage agreed.
"I wonder how Eustace is doing?" Muriel asked, wondering where her husband is.
"Beats me, but I'm sure he'll have the courage to make it home in his boxers," Shaggy snickered.
Shaggy, Scooby and Courage all laughed.
"Scooby-Dooby-Doo!" Scooby shouted.
