In the North Pole, the ice is being melting that cracks begun to form. It was so hot in the North Pole that Santa Claus have to move to the South Pole.

In the center of piece of an ice, was a snowman, and he was inventing something on his table.

"So the old North Pole has melted away, it was... inevitable," the Snowman said sadly.

He turned to his invention that look like a big pointing finger, he was just finishing the final touches of his invention, "But I create a new frozen home where I can keep cool, thanks to my genius invention... Cold Finger, you're the one with the minus touch. But where should I make my new frozen home? Where? Where, where? I can't go back to the North Pole, too many memories of friends who are... melted."

The Snowman grabbed a globe and give it a fast spin, "So I'll set up my new West Pole..." the globe eventually stopped spinning and it the Snowman pointed to were he was getting his new home. "Right THERE, Nowhere!"

Currently, the family were heading back to the farmhouse after going to the monthly square-dancing festival.

"Every time we go square-dancing, you rip your pants on the first do-si-do," Muriel said, as she sewed the tear in Eustace's pants.

"Stupid do-si-do!" Eustace complained, annoyed.

"Man, Uncle Eustace, like, it must've been pretty embarrassing for you to humiliate yourself in front of the whole crowd," Shaggy snickered.

Eustace turned to glare at his nephew, "You zip your mouth shut, you stupid nephew! As soon as we get home, we are never speaking of this again!"

"RI would say that he acts like the man who wears the pants, but that's just plain ridiculous..." Scooby began to commented, before became confused when he started seeing snowflakes.

"Uh... do my eyes decieve me or did the weather suddenly changed pretty fast?" Courage said, confused.

"Wow, would you look at that, Eustace, it's snowing," Muriel said, surprised.

"Can't be snowing, it's August!" Eustace reminded, before sticking his head out the window.

"You sure about that, Uncle Eustace? 'Cause I'm starting to feel a little cold right now..." Shaggy shivered, as he crossed his arms against his chest, in a effort to keep warm.

"Re too!" Scooby agreed, as he also shivered against the cold and crossing his arms.

"Me three," Courage added, as he too shivered with the cold, and crossing his arms as well.

"Sure, I'm sure! Winter doesn't come until somewhere between November or December or something!" Eustace insisted, only to cling onto the wheel for dear life when it started skating along the ice. "Although now that you mention it, I gotta get me some snow tires!"

The truck crashed into the porch, nearly destroying it.

"Lovely," Muriel said as she and her family quickly made their way to the door.

"Okay, I know a lot of creepy things tend to happen here in Nowhere, but THIS definitely takes the cake!" Courage pointed out.

"Rake?! Rhere?" Scooby asked excitedly, as he look around in all directions.

"It's just an expression, Scoob," Courage explained.

Scooby drooped his head in disappointment, "Roh..."

"Won't it be nice to get inside and get all warmed up?" Muriel asked, in suggestion.

"Like, it would be if only any of that were actually true..." Shaggy shivered and sighed, he had a feeling something big was going on.

Muriel opened the door, and the family all got covered in snow.

"You must have set the thermostat too low, Eustace," Muriel said, shaking the snow off her.

"Rhermostat? RI don't remember any of us installing a thermostat in the farmhouse," Scooby said, dumbfounded.

"That's because we AIN'T got no thermostat, you dumb dog!" Eustace spat, at the Great Dane.

"That IS strange... but if what the farmer's saying is true, then where's all this snow coming from anyhow?" Courage questioned.

The family entered the house, only to stop dead in their tracks when they all saw a figure using a metal glove to shoot snow out of the nearby broken window.

"Huh?" Eustace asked, confused.

"Oh, my," Muriel gasped.

"Zoinks!" Shaggy exclaimed, with fear.

"Rikes!" Scooby shouted, scared.

"No, it can't be..." Courage gasped in fear, already knowing who was sitting in Eustace's chair.

"Who the heck are you?!" Eustace demanded, while crossing his arms and shaking from the cold.

"Man, Snowman," the Snowman answered, as he got up from the chair and moved towards the family.

Courage screamed, hit breath visible from how cold it was.

"Rhat are you doing here?! Rand what's that giant swirly thing you have in our living room?!" Scooby asked, pointing to the red and blue striped pole.

"Funny you should ask, dog, I have come all the way from the North Pole in need of your assistance. For you see, that right over there is the West Pole, center of the new Arctic region, which you and your family will help me complete," the Snowman answered, before turning back to the family.

"You want us to do to what?!" Shaggy asked, flabbergasted.

"Let me put it in terms of which only you humans can understand, I am building a new frozen home where I can no longer have to worry about melting... just like my once beloved snowman friends. But enough pleasantries, time to get to work," the Snowman said, before pointing to the cowardly trio. "You three, dogs and boy, keep us nourished with a study supply of snowcones," he said, before tossing Courage an ice cream scoop.

"Do we really have to do this? I mean, this is the same snowman who tried to extract some anti-melting genes from Muriel and the farmer," Courage said, as he picked up the ice cream scoop.

"Reah, including you as well, Raggy," Scooby put in, as he turned to his owner.

"Look, dudes, I don't wanna live like this anymore than you two do, but, like, what other choice do we have? I mean, he's got a weird-looking snow making machine that looks like a finger," Shaggy pointed out.

"You, woman," Snowman said, pointing to Muriel, "Keep me entertained, Snowman cannot work if he's not entertained."

"Ooh, I'll have to get out my sitar!" Muriel said, excited before running down to the basement.

"How is it that Muriel is the only one around here who doesn't understand the danger she's in every time someone bad shows up at our doorstep?" Courage questioned, he loved Muriel, but she's gotta be more aware of things.

"And you, old man," Snowman said, pointing to Eustace, "You shall keep watch from atop that pole to let me know when the snow has completely blocked out the Sun. Go!"

"I ain't sitting on no pole!" Eustace argued.

Annoyed, Snowman used his glove to freeze Eustace. He laughed before sitting back in Eustace's chair.

Shaggy, Scooby and Courage gasped, horrified.

"Rhis guy gives me the shivers and not just because of the amount of snow he's covering our entire farmhouse with," Scooby shivered, with both of the cold and fear.

Two hours have passed, it was getting colder by the minute, reaching at least negative twenty degrees colder.

"Mean ol' bossy snowman," the trio heard Eustace complain through gritted teeth.

"I've got icicles on my blisters," Muriel said, as she stopped playing her sitar.

Snowman laughed before firing more snow from his glove while eating a snow cone.

Muriel then asked, the shivering three best friends, "How are you boys holding up over there?"

Shaggy, Scooby and Courage felt their flesh freezing on their bones, their bodies' warmth were seeping out of them, like water leaking from a pipe.

"RI'm so c-c-cold that I'm s-s-shivering!" Scooby stuttered, as he hugged himself, in a effort to keep warm. His face was covered with frozen icicles.

"L-L-Like, I'm so c-c-cold..." Shaggy stated, stuttering, he snapped off his two nose drippings and clicks them together, "That I c-c-can use my n-n-nose drippings as a pair of c-c-chopsticks!" The cold seemed to reach into his lungs and freeze his breath

"W-W-Well, I'm so c-c-cold that I'm t-t-this close to getting h-h-hypothermia!" Courage stuttered, shivering before taking out the remote and turning on the television. He then changed channels to one that was showing a lit fireplace. Icicles were forming all around his body. "O-O-Oh, if only t-t-the fireplace on T-T-TV was real enough to k-k-keep one of us w-w-warm!" The cold seeped through the pink beagle's flesh and arms, and stabbed into his bones

"Small dog," Snowman shouted before throwing his empty snow cone at Courage, "Fill her up."

"C-C-Coming right up, your f-f-frostiness," Courage stuttered, before grabbing the snow cone, he then fitted the cone onto one of the icicles hanging from his nose before breaking it off. He then gave the Snowman the snow cone, who was firing more snow from his glove again.

"Ah, tutti frutti," Snowman said, after taking a few licks of the snow cone. He then turned to the freezing hungry duo, "Would the two of you care for some snowcones as well?"

Shaggy and Scooby shared a gaze, and both turned their heads and shook their heads no, while shivering. The last thing they wanted, was something cold to eat.

"N-N-No thanks, snow dude!" Shaggy stuttered.

"R-R-Reah, we're good!" Scooby recline, in a stutter.

"Very well then, more for me!" Snowman shrugged, as he ate his snowcone.

Thirty minutes later, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage heard Eustace shout out, ""EH! THE S-SUN'S BLOCKED OUT!"

"Heh-heh-heh, excellent," Snowman laughed before turning to the pole, "You can come down now!"

Eustace fell from the top of the pole to the floor, Shaggy and Scooby both winced at that.

"Enough music, I must address you all! Small dog! I SAY, SMALL DOG!" Snowman called.

Opening the freezer door, Courage whined, "Oh, can't a dog at least get any rest around here?" he complained before getting out of the freezer, and stood between Muriel, Shaggy and Scooby.

The cowardly trio were shivering so hard, their bones felt as if they would crack apart.

"Ah, glad that you are present, small dog, I have a very important announcement to make," Snowman began, before becoming noticeably sad, "You have served me well, now I suppose you'll want to leave me."

"L-L-Like, glad that w-w-we're on the s-s-same page. So, if you n-n-need any of us, w-w-we'll be at the b-b-beach," Shaggy stuttered, while shivering from the freezing-icy cold air. It felt like his bones were about to crack from the aching cold.

"Wait, hear me out first!" Snowman interjected, "You've become like family to me, if you stay here in the West Pole, I'll welcome you as my fellow snowmen, uh... snowpeople, eh... snow, uh-creatures..."

"R-R-Row's our chance, j-j-just back away s-s-slowly..." Scooby suggested, with stuttering, shivering from the brutal cold.

Nodding, the family slowly began to make their way to the kitchen, while not knowing where they could go, at the moment, anywhere else would be better than here.

"...slush puppies, eh-uh, differentially temperature individuals..." the snowman continued.

As Shaggy took a few steps backwards, he noticed something odd. It felt like he was getting...slower, he was starting to feel a little stiffer as well, having more difficult taking his steps. Uh... why do my arms and legs suddenly feel a little numb? What was going on? He tried to walk behind faster, but he kept growing stiffer and slower until he froze completely.

Shaggy tired to speak, but his frozen lips could not make a sound. And he realized he couldn't move not a finger or toe, he tried to scream and called Scooby or Courage, but his unable to move his jaws. His heart started to pound violently against his chest, at this point Shaggy's body was going into a full-on panic mode. He desperately struggled to move any part of his body, but to no avail. His eyes shifted wildly looking for some needs of escape.

"…Eh, friendsicles, chosen frozen people, snowmigos," the Snowman continued on, not realizing at the family were begin to freeze to solid.

Scooby try to respond, he opened his mouth to whisper to his two best friends, but suddenly realized that he couldn't. His mouth wouldn't move, in fact, Scooby found that he couldn't move any part of his body at all. His body was completely frozen, locked in place and he couldn't move or even speak, but the frozen Great Dane could still see and hear his surroundings. The only parts of his body that he could still move freely were his eyeballs, but everything else was completely immobilized.

Rikes! Re're too late, we're all frozen solid! Scooby mentally cried in his mind, in horror.

"G-G-Guys, are you t-t-two feeling alright t-t-there?" Courage asked.

No response...

He turned to his two best friends, but to his horror, Shaggy and Scooby stopped moving.

Shaggy and Scooby wanted to answer and both tried to open their mouths to tell Courage what's happening, but no sound was heard and their mouths were both frozen solid.

Courage started tapping on Muriel's and Shaggy's arms. Yet, to the pink beagle's worry, his sense of dread was growing by the second, it sounded hollow and as if he was tapping on ice. He gasped with horror, as his heart almost stopped. "Oh, my g-gosh! S-S-Shaggy, S-S-Scooby, M-M-Muriel!"

Courage heard a crackling sound, looking down, he saw his paws...ice. They were coated in ice, the cowardly pink beagle shook his head, as he tried to understand what's happening.

Courage desperately tried to warm up Muriel and Shaggy's hands next to him, but too not avail, they're frozen solid. Courage try to lick his owner's hand, but fail when his tongue got stuck, like when you stick your tongue on a frozen pole in the winter time. He try to pull his tongue off, only to realize that it was becoming increasingly difficult to move...until finally his body had been locked up.

Courage try to turn his head, but couldn't! He felt like he was just a statue! He could feel his heart beating, again, he focused all his energy on leaning forward, but it had little effect. His encased body could barely twitch. He was frozen in place, stuck in a rock-solid and skin-tight prison of ice. All he could do was nervously shifting his eyes. Courage tried to call out for his best friends, but his jaws were locked up, opened.

Desperately trying as hard as he could to fight the freezing cold in order to move, but it was hopeless. Courage wanted to scream and yell, but no words came out. Courage had never wanted to scream as much as he did right now, he was really terrified.

The pink beagle's eyes dart back and forth rapidly from his rigid form, looking for anyone or anything that might help… but to no avail.

Oh, I don't know what's worse: that we're completely frozen without any chances of us breaking free or how much it hurts for me to stick my tongue out for who knows how long! Courage thought to himself.

"I'll just call you my fellow snowmen, will you stay?" Snowman said, getting the frozen trio's attention. He turned away from the window before moving towards the frozen statues.

I would say no, but my mouth's too frozen for me to speak at the moment. Courage thought to the Snowman.

Why not? Like, you practically turned all of us into ice sculptures at this point. Shaggy thought, with defeat.

RI know you can't hear me right now, but you're the most cold-hearted snowman we've ever encountered. Scooby thought angrily to the Snowman, if he wasn't a frozen statue right now, he would growl at the Snowman.

"You will? Ha-ha-ha! Today, I feel like the luckiest guy on the surface of the barren, frozen tundra," Snowman said, as if he read the trio's thoughts, smiling while clasping his hands together.

Shaggy, Scooby and Courage saw him dancing to the beat of the music and was also beginning to sing.

I'm feeling fine, just because you're mine.

Life is like a song since you came along.

YOOOOOOOU freeze up my life!

Ow! Ow! Ow!

Life is nice, sugar and ice...

And all because of yooou!

Hey, hey-hey, hey!

Snowman pressed a button on the pole, with a disco coming out a second later. The frozen trio's eyes darted to Snowman and continued watching him dance.

Everyday's a thrill...

All I want to do is chill.

My loneliness is lost...

My frosting's turned to frost.

YOOOOOOOU freeze up my life!

Hey! Hey! Hey!

Life is sweet, stra-awberry sleet...

Like one big snow daaay!

Hey! Hey! Hey, love you! Feel it, baby! Dig it! Move with me! Yes, feel it! You love beat!

Like, I gotta admit: for a scary-looking snowman, he sure knows how to sing. Shaggy thought, impressive with the snowman's singing and dance moves.

Three hours have past, after Snowman finished dancing, he suggested to the frozen family to do some fun activities to grow closer together. First, they watch some shows on the television while Snowman was having a snowcone. He tried to share with the family but of course because they're frozen, (literally) they couldn't move anything was so ever.

Courage eyes darted to the snowcone that Snowman was holding, Courage wanted to speak or cry for help, but all he could manage was a moan. How does he expect us to eat if we can't even move our own mouths?!

Snowman sat back down and continued to watch the show on the television.

Man, I wanna change the channel and I can't even move one of my arms! Shaggy complained mentally in his mind.

Afterward, the Snowman decided that it would be nice if he and the 'family' beat a pinata together. If he wasn't stuck in his frozen tomb, Scooby would of laugh when when Snowman accidentally hit Eustace on the head with the baseball bat.

Rokay, that was actually pretty funny whacking Rustace in the head with a bat like that. Scooby admitted to his mind amusingly.

And once Snowman had eaten all the candy, Snowman gave the family each a hula hoop. Yet, while initially smiling, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage noticed that Snowman was becoming sadder with each passing second.

Shaggy remained motionless, his sense of touch have now become numb. Remarkably, he was still able to think, see and hear despite that those senses are now numb, and he being to feel bad for the Snowman. I don't know about the other frozen dudes, but, like, watching this snow dude play by himself is kinda sad.

Soon, he let the hula hoop fall to the floor before moving to Eustace's chair.

"How sad to be the last of the snowmen," Snowman said, as he sat down.

Huh, what does he mean the last of the snowmen? Courage asked, in his mind, his tongue cramping up despite being frozen.

"My heart longs for my snowman friends from the old days, the days before... things got HOT!" Snowman answered, slamming his fists against the chair's arms.

Romething tells me that we're about to hear a tragic story. Scooby thought.

As if he read the frozen Great Dane's thoughts, Snowman got up moved over to the frozen cowardly trio, freed Courage from being stuck next to Muriel, then placed him, and his frozen best friends on the couch. Although, freeing him resulted in Courage's tongue breaking in two.

Ow! You think he would at least be a little more gentle there. Courage thought, with pain.

"Well, I'll make it simple for you three: not long ago, the North Pole was a frozen paradise," Snowman begin.

Maybe to him and his snowmen friends, but, like, to us, it's nothing but a frozen wasteland. Shaggy thought, as he once again struggle to move, but no matter how hard he try he still couldn't budge. He thankfully could still move his eyes though.

"But then, something happened to the blanket of gas that wraps all around the planet, protecting it. This blanket got weaker until... it ripped!" Snowman continued, as his voice filled with sadness.

The ozone layer!/Rhe ozone layer! Shaggy, Scooby and Courage all thought with unison and realization.

"I was able to survive, but my friends weren't so lucky," Snowman put in, sadly.

They melted?! That's... that's awful, even to a scary-looking snowman like him! Courage thought, with sympathy.

"There was nothing I could do and you know whose fault it was?!" Snowman's voice filled with rage.

Global warming?/Robal warming? Shaggy, Scooby and Courage thought in unison, in their minds.

"It was all the fault of man! Oh..." Snowman shouted, he then went over to the couch and sat down, sighing, he closed his eyes before falling asleep.

Inside Shaggy Scooby and Courage's block of ice tombs, three single tears roll down their cheeks, which cause their ice tombs to melt off of them. The cowardly trio gasped for air, as their tombs crack and broke.

"Re're free? RE'RE FREE!" Scooby exclaimed, as he looked down at his paws, and feeling really happy he could talk again.

Shaggy gasped, and laughed at his freedom, "Hey, you're right, Scoob! Like, that snow dude's sad story was so emotional, it nearly made us shed warm tears to the point where we started thawing ourselves from our frozen state!"

Courage took a gulp of air and breath out and look down on his body, he could move everything again, he turned to his best friends and spoke, "Shag, Scoob, I know this is gonna sound kinda crazy, but I'm beginning to feel a little sorry for the poor snowman."

"Us too, little pink dude. Maybe what he did to us back then wasn't right, but just look at how HIS life turned out!" Shaggy proclaimed, feeling really bad for Snowman.

"Rhere's gotta be some way to help this snowman out with his predicament," Scooby stated.

Suddenly, a lightbulb flash onto Courage's head, as a idea sparked into his mind, "Maybe there IS! I have an idea, come with me!"

Shaggy, Scooby and Courage made their way to the airport. After getting their tickets, the three headed towards the correct gate, and were now on the plane.

"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. This is captain Jon Dilworth. If you look out your window to the left, why, there's the hole in the ozone," the pilot announced.

"Yay!" Courage cheered.

"Like come on dudes, we gotta a ozone to fix!" Shaggy declared as the two dogs followed him to the plane's door.

It took a few tries, but Shaggy managed to open it on the fifth attempt. Although, he and the dogs did struggle not to get blown away by the fierce winds. Jumping out of the plane and onto the wing, Courage threw it towards the tear where it went through the tear before boomeranging back towards the trio.

Catching it, Courage tightened his grip on it before jumping off the plane's wing. After he reached the bottom and stopped swinging, he climbed the thread to the hole in the ozone. Once he reached it, he took the needle back out before sewing the hole together. With one half done, he used the remaining thread to swing to the other side and sewed that part as well. After he finished, Shaggy and Scooby waited a few moments to see if it would hold. And to their relief, it did.

Courage parachuted to the ground with Eustace's pants, and grabbed his two best friends as well.

"I hope this works," Courage said, hopefully.

As the three landed on the snow, Shaggy commented, "Wow like, Velma was right, landing on the snow is like a pillow.

Scooby turned his gaze to another direction of the North Pole and spotted something, "Ruys look!"

And to the cowardly trio's surprise, three strange winds with snow in them were spinning rapidly not too far from where they were. And to their immense surprise, once the winds died down, we saw the supposed friends of Snowmen standing there.

"Like, it work!" Shaggy cried.

"Re did it!" Scooby said, happily.

"Yay!" Courage cheered.

The next day, the cowardly trio managed to make it back to the farmhouse, and brought a snowwoman with them. Shaggy opened the door and entered the house. Looking around, he and the dogs saw Snowman playing the game Old Maid with Eustace and Muriel, both of whom were still frozen.

"Hey, snow dude~" Shaggy said, in a singing voice, getting his attention.

"Boys, where have you all been? More snowcones all around!" Snowman said.

"Actually, we have a surprise for you!" Courage said, handing him a postcard.

"What is this?" Snowman asked, as he grabbed the postcard and became shocked when he looked it over.

"Rit's a postcard addressed to you!" Snowman said, having a hard time believing it was true, "You three have managed to bring them back?"

"Uh-huh! And that's not all, there's someone special here to see you! Oh, Ivana~" Courage said before whistling

Ivana entered and gazed fondly at Snowman, whose jaw nearly hit the floor. Yet, he became overjoyed a second later and rushed towards the snowwoman.

"Ivana? Ah, Ivana, let us go home," Snowman said, while swinging her around a bit. Placing the snow glove on his head, the lovely couple exited the house, with the glove making it rain flurries around them.

"Rue love..." Scooby said, smiling.

"Oh, man. Like, watching loved ones reunite with each other sure DOES make my heart melt," Shaggy agreed, as he closed the door.

Courage turned his head and saw the snow began to melt rapidly. And in less than a few seconds, all of it was water, "That's not the only thing melting, look!"

"Whoa.../Rhoa..." Shaggy and Scooby both said in unison, as they looked the living room all around them.

"Oh, my," Muriel gasped.

"What's huh?" Eustace said, confused.

"Courage, Shaggy, Scooby, what's going on? Why is there water leaking in our living room?" Muriel asked.

"MURIEL!/AUNT MURIEL!/RURIEL!" Shaggy, Scooby and Courage all cried in unison, as they ran to Muriel and hugged her.

"Roh, it just warms our hearts to see you living and breathing again!" Scooby barked happily.

Eustace looked around, hoping to find an answer, only to become annoyed when he realized he didn't have any pants, "Where's my pants?"

"As much as I like to tell you, Uncle Eustace, you wouldn't be interested. It's kind of a short story," Shaggy explained.

"Heh, "short" story, good one!" Courage giggled, happy that his family were all safe, and not encase in ice tombs.

EPILOUGE

Now that everything was back to normal before the ripping of the ozone layer, Snowman was on a blanket with his girlfriend Ivana, before his two friends, the chubby one named Hoshouser was wearing overalls on his head.

"How do you like my new hat?" Hoshouser asked.

All the snowpeople laughed, at Hoshouser's humor, it was good to be home.
