Currently, the family were in the kitchen baking some Scottish dream cookies.
"Let's see, two cups of flour," Muriel said, reading the recipes from one of her many cookbooks, "One cup of brown sugar."
"Like, I got the flour," Shaggy said, grabbing the flour from the cupboards and poured sugar into the measuring cup.
"Two pounds of butter," Muriel continued.
"Scooby and I have the butter," Courage said while closing the door after taking out two ridiculous-sized containers filled with butter.
"Like dudes, I sure love Aunt Muriel's Scottish Dream Cookies," Shaggy said, his mouth watering.
"Rou said it Raggy," Scooby agreed, with licking his lips.
"No one can make Scottish dream cookies better like Muriel," Courage added.
"Better make it four pounds," Muriel said as she took the containers, "I love my Scottish dream cookies buttery."
"Like, we so love extra buttery," Shaggy said, before turning to the Great Dane, "Don't we Scoob?"
"Reah," Scooby said, with a chuckle.
Courage got two more pounds of butter from the fridge, just then, Eustace barged into the kitchen.
"MURIEL! You seen my glasses?" Eustace asked, as he used his hands to try and get a feel for what was in front of him. However, he was simply waving his hands in the air at the moment.
Unfortunately, because he didn't have his glasses, he accidentally hit the butter containers Courage had just got out of the fridge into the air, and landed on him.
"RI got ya Rourage," Scooby said, as he lifted up the now empty butter container off of Courage's now covered fur with butter.
"Oh great, I need to take a bath after this," Courage groaned, not licking the butter sticking onto his fur.
"No, I haven't. Did you misplace them?" Muriel asked as she began to wash some dishes.
"Yes, I misplace them," Eustace answered before knocking over a chair, which fell onto his foot, causing him to trip, "OW!"
Shaggy winced at that, "At least we know how Velma feels."
"Boys, you both better help Eustace find his glasses. Be his guides, we wouldn't want him to lose his way," Muriel suggested.
"I know I'm not going to like this," Courage said, as he put his leash on himself.
"Like, me neither little pink dude," Shaggy said, as he, Scooby and Courage walked over to Eustace, who was under the table.
"Re too," Scooby agreed, with a groan.
"Get away from me!" Eustace demanded before standing up and going through the table,
"OWW! Don't need NO guides!"
"Like, we'll be right back Aunt Muriel," Shaggy said, as he and Scooby followed Eustace dragging Courage outside.
"My glasses, now where'd they go?" Eustace asked, checking the ground for his glasses.
"RI don't think your glasses are outside the house," Scooby told him.
"Shut it you stupid dog! Now help me find them!" Eustace demanded.
Sighing, Scooby went over and sat next to Shaggy and Courage, "Re're going to be here a while, aren't we?"
"Unfortunately,"Courage answered, before looking out toward the sunset. But his expression changed to confusion when he spotted something, "Huh?"
"What is it little pink dude?" Shaggy asked.
"Up there in the sky," Courage said, pointing towards the sky.
"Rhy is there a hot air balloon coming toward us?" Scooby began but asked when he saw a brightly colored hot air balloon coming toward the farm.
"I-I-I can't see. Oh, where? Where?" Eustace asked, as he continued searching, unaware of what was happening even though the hot air balloon landed mere feet from him.
"Help! Help! Balloon! Balloon!"Courage said, trying to tell Eustace what was happening.
"You got my glasses?" Eustace asked, as he turned to face Courage.
Like, who could it be this time? Shaggy wondered, as the hot air balloon's door opened.
"Le Quack is back," Le Quack announced, unknowingly answering the cowardly teen's question as he stepped out of the basket.
Courage screamed in terror before running back inside the house.
"Like, oh no," Shaggy whimpered.
"Rot him again," Scooby whined.
Luckily, Le Quack somehow didn't hear them.
"YEOW! What are you trying to do, bust my neck?!" Eustace asked, as he was unwillingly dragged inside by Courage. And because Eustace could not see, he tripped over the step, causing him to fly inside the kitchen and crash into the fridge.
Shaggy and Scooby enter the kitchen to warn Muriel.
Courage then begin to babbled to Muriel, as he transform into a balloon followed by a blimp.
"You're right, I should make it five pounds of butter," Muriel said, misinterpreting what Courage tried to tell her.
"Like, not a bad idea Aunt Muriel," Shaggy said, forgetting that Le Quack was outside.
"Reah, the more the buttery," Scooby giggled, also forgetting that Le Quack was outside.
"Guys!" Courage yelled at his two best friends, trying to get them to focus, "We don't have time for this! Le Quack is outside right now, and is planning who knows what this time."
Shaggy and Scooby grimaced, "Sorry/Rorry."
"Hmm, I didn't notice this before," Muriel said, sounding surprised.
"What is it, Aunt Muriel?" Shaggy asked.
"We need two ounces of rare Swedish vinegar," Muriel answered, causing the pink beagle to groan.
"Oh, these are Swedish dream cookies," Muriel said as she closed the book, "Now, how are we going to get to Sweden to get rare Swedish vinegar?"
As if the old woman's questions were answer, there was a knock on the door.
"WE DON'T WANT ANY!" Eustace shouted, as he somehow managed to get to the door and open it despite not being able to see.
"I am Le Quack of Swedish Hot Air," Le Quack introduced himself before turning toward Muriel, "I take you to Le Sweden, oui?"
"Oh my, how lucky," Muriel said, surprised.
"Like, wait a minute duck dude, how exactly did you know that we needed to go to Sweden?" Shaggy asked, through narrow eyes.
"A true Sweden always knows when someone somewhere needs our special vinegar," Le Quack answered, but this didn't decrease Shaggy's suspicions whatsoever.
"I do need some rare Swedish vinegar," Muriel said, unaware of the danger.
"No! No! No! Don't go!" Courage warned, as he jumped and clung onto Muriel's apron.
"Aunt Muriel, this isn't a good idea," Shaggy cautioned, he doesn't knew what the con artist duck is up to this time, but it can't be anything good.
"Reah, this is Re Ruack, who hypnotize you and Rustace to steal money from the bank," Scooby added, hoping to change the old woman's mind.
"Le Balloon is waiting," Le Quack said as Courage got off Muriel.
"How thrilling," Muriel said as she followed Le Quack to the balloon while Courage tried to stop her by holding her apron.
"Where are you taking me?" Eustace asked, still holding onto Courage's leash as he followed his family.
"Raggy, what do you think he's planning?" Scooby whispered.
"I like, don't know Scoob, but whatever it is, it can't be good," Shaggy answered.
"I always wanted to see the world from a balloon, get above it all," Muriel said, as Courage continued to try and warn her but failed.
"I ain't going nowhere without my glasses, I ain't even going nowhere with my glasses," Eustace complained.
"Suit yourself, Eustace," Muriel said, annoyed, before regaining her excitement and turning to the the cowardly trio, "Let's all go to Sweden to get some rare Swedish Vinegar so we can make those Swedish dream cookies."
"Yes! I'll take this," Courage cheered before taking his leach away from Eustace.
"Like, we're coming with you Aunt Muriel," Shaggy called.
"Le basket only holds two, the dogs and the boy stays: we go, oui?" Le Quack said, with a chuckle as we reached the hot air balloon.
"Rhat?" Scooby asked, flabbergasted.
"NO!"Courage said, scared.
"Oh, that's a shame, boys, I'll be back in a flash with the vinegar," Muriel said, before entering the basket.
"Are you sure you want to go alone, Aunt Muriel?" Shaggy asked, eyeing Le Quack, "Like, this basket seems like it can fit three or four people."
"I'm sure, in the meantime, why don't you boys help Eustace find his glasses? He'll like that," Muriel answered, as Eustace found and grabbed Courage's leash again.
"We'll be back later in the day," Le Quack said as he entered the basket, "Now stand back: take-offs are usually, how'd you say, rocky."
"OOOH! This is so-lighter than air," Muriel said, wonder in her voice as the hot air balloon rose into the air.
"Little pink dude, what are you doing?" Shaggy asked, when he noticed him clinging onto the basket.
"Trying to go with Muriel,"Courage explained, as his leash started to choke him.
"Rourage your leash," Scooby reminded.
Courage gasped when the leash gave no more and forced him to let go of the basket.
"You're supposed to find my glasses! Not jump on my head!" Eustace shouted after Courage landed on his head, "Stupid seeing eye dog."
"Rhat do we do now?" Scooby asked.
"Follow them," Courage said before running after Muriel and dragging Eustace behind him.
Shaggy and Scooby looked at each other hesitantly before running after them.
"Guys we can't just leave him," Courage said, as he pointed towards the blind old farmer.
"Rhy not?" Scooby asked, seeing no reason to drag Eustace along for the rescue mission.
"It's dangerous for the farmer to be out there without his glasses," Courage said.
Shaggy agreed, he can't bare with himself if his uncle hurt himself while they're following the hot air ballon Muriel was on, "Your right little pink dude. Even though Uncle Eustace can be a pain."
"Rether we like it or not. Resides we would do the same thing for Relma if she lost her glasses," Scooby agreed, with his master.
"We better keep him in our sight or my name is Mr Magoo and it's not," Courage said.
"Okay, like, where did the duck dude and Aunt Muriel go?" Shaggy asked, as he and the two dogs began desperately looking around for the balloon.
Suddenly Scooby heard something, "Ro you guys hear that?"
"Hear what Scoob?" Courage asked.
"Rit's very faint, sounds almost as if someone was screaming," Scooby answered.
As soon as the Great Dane said this, Shaggy and Courage began to hear the screaming.
"Like, yeah, and it sounds really close," Shaggy said, looking around for the source, "it kinda sounds like-"
"MURIEL!" Courage suddenly shouted as he looked past Shaggy and Scooby, as he felt the color drain from my face when he realized that the screaming belonged to Muriel, who was FALLING rapidly toward the ground.
"RURIEL!" Scooby shouted, mortified as he and his two best friends raced toward where she would land.
Muriel screamed as she continued to plummet to the ground.
"AUNT MURIEL! WE'RE COMING!" Shaggy shouted as he and the two dogs ran through a field of jagged rocks.
Fortunately, none of the trio were harmed, aside from Eustace, who was bruised by the time we got to the end. And soon after, they reached the spot where Muriel was about to hit the ground. Moving right underneath her, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage prepared to catch her, but something pulled her back to the hot air balloon at the last moment. Muriel screamed as she landed in the basket.
"Ruh? Rhat?" Scooby asked, confused.
"How did she-" Shaggy began.
"Guys, I think I saw Muriel with a bungee cord, that's why she came back up," Courage answered, his best friends' questions.
"But like, why is Le Quack using a bungee cord on my aunt?" Shaggy asked.
"We can ask after we get Muriel back," Courage said, as he, Shaggy and Scooby continued to chase the balloon, "Careful for the cacti."
Shaggy, Scooby and Courage entered a cactus field. Unfortunately for Eustace, they kept forgetting that Courage was dragging him along against his will.
"WAIT! OW! WAIT! STOP! OUCH!" Eustace shouted in pain, as he kept getting hit by the cacti with lots of needles going into his skin.
Shaggy, Scooby and Courage rapidly approached New York City, the bustling city filled with skyscrapers and people who never sleep.
"Like, how on earth did we get from Kansas to New York so quickly?" Shaggy asked.
"I haven't got a clue Shaggy," Courage shrugged, also confused of how they got here so quickly.
"Where are we now?" Eustace asked, as the trio tried to keep track of the balloon, which was proving difficult because of all the tall buildings.
"Hang on, Muriel, we're coming.' Courage shouted, as they stopped at the end of the sidewalk.
Shaggy, Scooby and Courage waited for the light to change, luckily, it did so. Everyone then began carefully making their way across the street when they heard a familiar but irritating voice.
"WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING, YOU FOOL!" Di Lung shouted, as he rode his bike toward them. But instead of stopping, he rode into Courage's extended leash as Eustace was still standing on the sidewalk, "ACK!"
"Like, seriously, why do we keep running into that dude?!" Shaggy questioned.
"RI know, what's that about?" Scooby agreed.
Looking toward the sky, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage saw the hot air balloon heading toward the harbor, luckily, they spotted a cruise ship that was about to leave port. Running as fast as possible, the trio reached the boat as it started to set sail. Thankfully, they managed to get on board via a hole in the ship's side at the last moment as the boardwalk finished. Courage stomach then started to churn.
Oh, I hate boat rides. Courage thought, as he ran to the nearest bathroom.
Three hours later, the family were in Rome, just in time as they saw Muriel jumping from the hot air ballon again.
"WEE!" Muriel shouted in joy, as she rapidly approached the ground.
"OVER THE FOUNTAIN!" Courage shouted, as he, Shaggy and Scooby ran towards the fountain.
Unfortunately, they were too late as Muriel landed in the fountain's water.
"Rait, she's still there," Scooby said as he Courage, and Shaggy jumped into the fountain.
And the momentum caused Eustace to fly into the fountain as well, but before they could grab Muriel, the bungee cord pulled her back to the hot air balloon.
"This the Mississippi?" Eustace asked, as he resurfaced.
For the next two hours Shaggy, Scooby, Courage and Eustace were now in France, still trying to catch up with the hot air ballon.
"There they are," Shaggy said, pointing to the hot air balloon.
"MURIEL! We're coming,"Courage said, as he, Shaggy and Scooby chased after the balloon.
Unfortunately, because they were not paying attention, the trio ran through a crowded area full of people trying to eat. And as a result, they began hitting them with various types of bread Shaggy and Scooby took time, to collect some bread on the way. And luckily, they only managed to hit Eustace.
"Must be in France," Eustace said, as he held his head in pain.
"WEEE!" Muriel cheered, getting their attention.
Looking to where it came from, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage saw her coming down the side of the Eiffel Tower toward an unsuspecting guy reading the newspaper, she then grabbed his slice of cheese, croissant, and beret.
"Stupid American," the guy said, as Muriel flew back to the hot air balloon.
"Like hey, we're gonna eat that!" Shaggy complained.
"Rummer," Scooby agreed, with a whine.
Rolling his eyes, Courage grabbed the hungry duo, "Come on."
Shaggy, Scooby and Courage managed to ran to the outer perimeter of the fortress of Sweden.
"Wow," Courage panted, exhausted from running all day.
"Like, I have never run that much in my life," Shaggy panted, "Not even with monsters."
"Row, we just need to find the hot air balloon and find a way to bring it down without Ruriel getting hurt," Scooby added, as Courage took out a pair of binoculars.
"Do you see them, little pink dude?" Shaggy asked.
Straining his eyes, Courage felt the color drain from his face again when he saw Muriel dangling above the bank, but what made the cowardly pink beagle nearly pass out was the fact that he noticed Le Quack cutting through Muriel's bungee cord. Courage screamed while pointing above the piggy bank.
"Rhat is it Rourage," Scooby asked, concerned about the screaming alarm.
"Le Quack is cutting Muriel's bungee cord!" Courage exclaimed, with terror.
"Zoinks!" Shaggy shrieked.
"Re gotta stop him!" Scooby shouted.
"But dudes, it will take too long to climb up this bank. Plus, I like, doubt the guards would even let us near it," Shaggy pointed out.
"Then what are we supposed to do?" Courage asked, as he hopped up and down while looking left and right.
"BIG GUNS! HO!" a familiar voice ordered, with almost all the cannons turning to aim at the hot air balloon.
"I think I have an idea, but you two might not like it," Courage answered.
"Like, what do you have in mind little pink dude?" Shaggy asked, already knowing the answer.
"If we can get inside, the cannons will redirect to aim toward Muriel. The thing is, you we will have to climb inside the cannon and be fired from it," Courage suggested.
"Like, I was afraid you're gonna say that," Shaggy groaned, but knew this was not up to debate.
Scooby sighed, with agreement, "Ret's get this over this."
"OOH! WHAT'S HAPPENING?!" Eustace asked.
Turning to him, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage noticed that half of his body was inside a cannon, but before they could pull him out, the cannon started to move to aim toward the balloon.
"Rourage, your leash," Scooby warned when he saw the leash tightening.
Thankfully, Courage managed to unhook it before the cannon lifted itself to aim at the sky.
"What's going on?" Eustace asked, as the cannon turned toward the hot air balloon.
"Oh, my," Shaggy, Scooby and Courage heard Muriel say, worried when she realized all the cannons were aimed at her.
"FIRE!" the trio heard the general order. "Shoot the balloon! Go boom!"
BOOM!
"Come on, we don't have much time!" Courage said, after Eustace was launched from the cannon and went through the hot air balloon, leaving behind a giant hole.
"OOH, LA LA!" Shaggy, Scooby and Courage heard Le Quack say in shock before pulling out a saw, he then used it the cut through the bungee cord.
Not wasting any more time, Shaggy, Scooby and Courage went over to a nearby cannon and began climbing to the top.
"Rhis is going to hurt," Scooby said as he, Shaggy and Courage entered the cannon.
And he was right, as a second later, the trio were shot out of the cannon, which caused them to feel immense pain. But they ignored it as the trio focused on catching Muriel as Le Quack cut her bungee cord. Luckily, they managed to catch her before the cannons could focus on her. Unfortunately, the angle of the cannon caused them to fly away from the bank and crash through the front window of a closed store.
Meanwhile, Eustace have managed to be shoot from Sweden, to all the way home, as he crashed through the roof and into the bathroom. And landed his head into the toilet in the process.
Eustace managed to pull his head out of the toilet, before digging into hit, and there were his GLASSES.
Eustace give a chuckle of victory, "Right where I thought they were."
Back in Sweden, the family had crashed through the a bakery, where everyone recovered from falling through the air.
"Ow," Shaggy said, as he slowly stood up before helping Muriel, "Are you okay, Aunt Muriel?"
"I'm fine, dear, thanks for saving me," Muriel answered with a smile, "Oh."
"Rhat's wrong?" Scooby asked, worried.
"Nothing's wrong, Scooby, I just noticed that we found some rare Swedish Vinegar," Muriel answered, "That little man was right. Boys, we're going home to make cookies."
"Roh, boy," Scooby said, with excitement.
"Like, after all we been through tonight, Swedish dream cookies sound good right about now," Shaggy agreed, with Scooby.
"You got to fly, baby, fly," Courage answered as he took out and put on a pilot's cap, causing Shaggy and Scooby to chuckle.
"Scooby-Dooby-Doo!" Scooby shouted.
