"I can't believe you girls drag me to this!"

"Oh shush! Quit worrying."

"We'll be in soooo much trouble when they find out!"

"But they won't."

"If we get caught, I will blame you four for this."

"Oh my dear sweet Silver, be positive."

"Okay then, I'm positive we will get caught!"

"Not like that!"

A masquerade ball was hosted by the seventh Duke Draventon in the northwest of central London, situated in the UK, to mark the 270th anniversary of the Draventon family line, which was established in the 18th century, and four Disney princesses, Anna, Rapunzel, Ariel, and Jasmine, decided to go sneak in with Silver to attend. According to Anna, she discovered this grand ball while browsing social media and wanted to attend it. Since they have no connection with the Draventon family and do not possess an invitation, she decided that they should sneak in without being noticed.

Despite this, Silver is unwilling to consider the idea because he fears that they might be kicked out if they are caught or, even worse, arrested. It was his fear that they would all get into major trouble if they went, so he convinced them not to go. There is no need to be concerned, Anna has come up with a solution. They should refrain from speaking to the Draventon family, and they should not disclose their names. Simple as that!

But Silver still wouldn't budge, he refused to go but the Princesses won't take no for the answer. Anna reminds him that it's a masquerade ball, everyone, including them, will all be wearing a mask and costume so nobody will know who they are and their identity won't be known. They keep begging on their knees multiple times until Silver has no choice but to give in. But! Under one condition, if he goes with them, they promise that they must all leave before midnight and never speak about this ever again.

All four princesses agree with his condition, so it's settled then. They're all going to the Draventon Ball.

That evening, Anna lies to her sister Elsa about her, Ariel, Rapunzel, Jasmine, and Silver going to England for a sightseeing tour around London.

After Silver painted the door, the group of fifths later ended up in the woods and hiding behind the tree and bushes, all watching the vehicles and guests enter through the grand estate gate that looked like a royal palace.

Considering the attire of the guests, it is clear that the theme is very much rococo, thus explaining why most ladies are wearing silvery-white or platinum blonde wigs, styled into a pouf-like Marie Antoinette style. This wig is approximately one or three feet in length, and most of their faces are powdered with white powder as if flour had been thrown on them. In addition to this, men wore wigs with long hair brushed back (but mostly not) from the forehead and tied back (with a ribbon matching their frock coat) at the nape of the neck.

A group of four princesses huddles together listening to Anna explain how she intends to sneak into the estate while Silver continues to gaze at the vast grounds. A 60-ft high building, the house resembles Castle Howard, but it contains baroque elements such as coronets, domes, cherubs, urns, and ciphers. On the north front, Roman Doric pilasters characterize the building, while on the south front Corinthian columns stand tall. The fountain is located in the center of a landscaped gorgeous garden in front of the home. Two identical houses are joined at the east and west sides of the Draventon stately home.

Having owned this magnificent house, Silver could not believe the Draventons were so extremely wealthy. They must live their life like European Royal.

"Silver!"

Silver turns his head to the princesses. "Yes?"

"We need you to change our clothes to blend in with the guests!" Anne grinned. "So take your magic paintbrush and let's get started!!!!"

"Do I have to?" Silver whine.

"Do it! Do it! Do it!" They chant with their hands clapping together while Silver rolls his eyes as he lets out a sigh dramatically, "Fiiiiine!". Before taking out his magic paintbrush and beginning to do his magic. Covering the princesses including him from head to toe, changing from their normal look to much more rococo attire that Queen Marie Antoinette of France herself would've approved.

Anna's dark green bodice is fully lined and heavily boned while the feature back strapping pulls the gown in for a fully 'corseted' look and perfect fit. The front 'v' panel has 7 pieces of boning encased within a triple layer of heavy calico that gives a fully pushed-up bust. A reverse ruffle runs around and down the neck and the front. The fully lined elbow-shaped three-quarter sleeves have lace running around her elbow, just above the flamboyant flounce, there is the same 'ruffle' that edges the front of the bodice and main skirt. The skirt is full and has decorated sunflowers, purple lupines, and white chamomiles around the edge and some sunflower petals scattered around the skirt.

Her strawberry blond hair is styled after Princess of Lamballe in her portrait in 1776, her pouf with five curl rolls behind the hair, three upper rolls beside the hair, and one strand of garland sunflower draped on top across her hair. A black satin necklace with a bronze pendant of Arendelle's symbol on it and a white ruffles trim on the top and bottom.

Rapunzel wears an above-ankle-length lilac dress with pink ribbon detailing on the hem edge and sleeves. The lilac bodice is laced with pink ribbon up the front and a small corsage of lilac and pink flowers is pinned to the neck, which is square-cut and low. The sleeves are finished with two tiers of lace white ruffles and a pink bow at each elbow. The skirt is very wide and full as it is held out by panniers and a light pink ruffle hem. The skirt is embroidered with the corona floating lanterns. She wears a lilac ribbon choker with two bows in the front center around her neck, and a simple lilac mask trimmed in gold with a painted corona sun on the left side. She has a full white stocking that covers her whole legs and a pair of pink heels.

Her golden blonde hair has two side rolls on each side and the pouf was composed of 14 yards of gauze and numerous plumes waving at the top of a tower and four bouncy curls behind her neck. Sat on top of her hair was a boat that looked identical to the one Eugene and Rapunzel rode on when they watched the floating lanterns with a corona lantern dangling on the front hook of the boat. Inside the boat were purple and lilac flowers and some smaller petals scattered around her hair.

Ariel's dress resembles the pink dress that she first wore when she and Prince Eric were having dinner in the castle but with some rococo elements. The overskirt is a pink trim with a lace edge, this off-the-shoulder gown has two paned sleeves with white inside covering her arms and the petticoat under her dress. The overskirt hem has many elaborate rococo designs. The underskirt has champagne tulles with a ruffle hem at the bottom. The bodice is styled into an 18th-century stay, the top has pearls beading around the neckline. The skirt is more of the Rococo era with hip panniers and a bustle back. At each side of the waist are beautiful red roses cascading down, there are also two roses at each side of the necklace.

She wears a pink choker with two red roses on her right side, and a pair of pink pumps on her feet. Her red hair still has her side bangs but it also has two side rolls and two long curls that sit on her shoulders. It is embellished with an array of delicate different types of seashells with hints of tiny white pearls beads. Her beautiful soft rose gold embroidered mask is richly encrusted with iridescent half pink and rose gold pearls & multifaceted crystals.

Jasmine peacock-inspired dress is a medium-dark shade of teal with gold embellished on the front bodice corset, an off-the-shoulder neckline with bell bottom sleeves with gold trim, and a tier of wide white tulle lace with two tiers of peacock feather hem. Her skirt has an elegant petal layer of embroidered peacock motif in gold with sparkling gems and she has a long trail cape that attaches to the back of the dress neckline.

Her black hair stands over a foot tall with a tower of loose curls decorated with her sapphire with a gold border pinned to the center with the other smaller version on each bottom side on top of her side rolls with two turquoise ribbons connected to the smaller royal jewel. A charming headdress on top is adorned with a gorgeous peacock fan of gleaming feathers. She wore a gold lace mask with peacock feathers sitting on the side along with a rhinestone and matching bow. A turquoise satin choker with ruffles trims with her royal jewel in the center.

Unlike any other four princesses, Silver's ivory costume is very simple and yet not too exaggerated or over the top. The bodice features a square-cut neckline trimmed in ruffles with another ruffle trimmed down to the pointed waistline and a big bow with gold trim. The quarter sleeves are finished with a single tier of wide lace ruffle and a bow at each elbow. The bell-shaped overskirt that divides in the front displays the underskirt with two of the ruffles snaking down in front of the skirt. Inside, the underskirt has a very deep two tiers of ruffle at the hem of the skirt and is edged with two more ruffle trimmed. In his left hand, he holds this masquerade mask that is decorated in ivory with gold lace trim around the area of the mask. For the finished touches, his hair is up with the side ringlets sitting on his left shoulder, some white rosettes pinned on his hair, and a pair of glitter ivory low pump slippers.

Unlike what people wore in the rococo era, their hairs and faces were not powder in white but they did have their own unique small black beauty mark shape design on their cheeks, for instance, Anna is a sunflower, Rapunzel is a corona sun, Jasmine is a genie lamp, Ariel is a seashell, and Silver is a heart.

"No fair! Out of all of us, why did you get to wear a simple dress?" Anna complained, pouting like a child. "All we got is this over-the-top dress and I am not sure if I can balance my head with this huge crazy hairstyle."

Silver rolled his eyes. "If I have to attend the masquerade costume ball, I do want to look simple!" He smirks.

"Uhhhhhh Silver," Rapunzel started to speak. "You're…… You're not wearing your glasses." She pointed out when she saw no glasses on his face.

Silver just laughed it off. "Don't worry Rapunzel, I have my magic paintbrush to transform my glasses into a mask!" He explained, grinning. "See?" Silver raises his mask and taps the eyehole of the mask only for the princesses to hear the taping sound of his lenses.

"I'm impressed," Ariel said, impressed. "I never thought that you could use your magic paintbrush to turn your glasses into a mask!"

Jasmine was stunned. "Me too!"

Anna stepped in, "Alright you fourth, enough talking, and let's go inside!" Anna smiles. "The party is waiting!"

As they watch the guests pass by them, Anna waits to see if there are any more incoming guests, once the coast is clear. She signals them all to go go go until she's the last one to come out.

"This is so exciting!!!" Rapunzel squeals, as they start to walk. "We're going to have so much fun!"

"I cannot believe that we are doing this!" Jasmine smiled.

"Yeah, expect we might end up getting caught." Silver glares at her but they ignore him.

They started making their way up to the Draventon estate and through the gate, they made their way up to the Draventon estate with cars passing by them. The guests that were walking behind and in front of them were amazed at how well-dressed these fifth lovely ladies were.

The fifth walk into a grand foyer through the double door with two men dressed in 18th-century attire beside the doorway. Every time Silver heels touch the steps, his heart beats faster and his body feels warm. He doesn't know why exactly, his first guess is attending the party uninvited and the chance of them getting busted.

The interior of the home was filled with English Baroque style interior decor, a crystal chandelier hanging above an elegant urn featuring ornate classical style with lavender/blue larkspur, hot pink ranunculus, vibrant yellow and lavender roses, and some few gold-gilded roses and leaves combined with green ivy in a wonderful flower arrangement of delight.

The guests walk through the foyer with a grand double staircase that leads them into the hallway and to the ballroom at the end. The hallway has seven large windows that show both views of the courtyard with two sculptures of Greek figures in the center, six golden stand candelabras with five arm-lifted candles that stand in the pier of the window arch and flowers spiral down the metal candle stand, and in front of the window was an urn with same flowers from the foyer.

"Woah." Anna whistle. "This is a nice-looking house they have!" She admires the lovely interior.

"Very nice Nice!" Ariel nodded, agreeing.

"The Beast would be so jealous when he sees this," Rapunzel chuckled, "He wishes he could have their style."

"I love what they have done with the place!" Jasmine looked around.

"It's nice after all." Silver smiles softly. But his smile disappears when he notices the princesses are looking at him with teased expressions and raised arch eyebrows. "B-but that doesn't mean I-I like it!" He stuttered. "I still hate the idea of crashing this place!"

The princesses just rolled their eyes at him.

"The Count and Countess of Timberland!" The announcer announced.

Ariel gasped, "They're announcing everyone's names! We're doomed!"

"Oh no!" Silver said it sarcastically with his mouth wide open and his right hand on his cheek. "That's horrible….! Oh well! It looks like we try! Guess it's time for us to go back home and-"

"Ah-ah-ahhhh!" Anna grabs his hand. "Now hold on. We're not going home now."

Rapunzel rolled her eyes. "Relax Silver. All we have to do is not give them your real name, just give them a fake one!"

Anna smiled mysteriously, "Watch and learn." Then she glided over to the announcer and whispered in his ear.

"Lady Danger!" the man announced slowly.

The princesses giggled. Silver gives them a side eye like a mother scolds her children for misbehaving before rolling his eyes.

The other four princesses went over and followed Anna's plan.

"The Duchess of Blondie." The announcer continued, getting more confused with each name he was given.

"Marquess of Fishy! The Countess of Peacock!"

Three princesses stood next to Anna before facing back at Silver who just stood there nervously.

Silver just shook his head with a sigh, "Well." and followed their plan, "Too late to turn back now." He muttered to himself before he whispered to the announcer's ear and gave him a fake name that doesn't sound ridiculous like the other four.

"Lady Golden!" The man was relieved that this name wasn't as stupid as he announced.

Once their fake name was announced, Silver entered the ballroom, and boy was he surprised to see. The ballroom was so grand and so glorious, its interior was decorated in an elegant baroque design. This ballroom could rival both Cinderella Castle Ballroom and even the Beast's Castle Ballroom.

The ballroom is modeled and decorated in the baroque style. A full orchestral stage occupies the east side; a balcony runs around the north, west, and south sides, and a gallery is provided at the west end. The walls on the ground floor are encased in mahogany paneling, with carved pilasters and this woodwork is contained along the staircase to form a dado on the balcony. The ceiling is treated in gold and cream and grays with chrome panel paintings of Greek ancient gods and goddesses, and the balcony walls are fitted with a series of large and handsome mirrors.

Strings of flowers dripped from the ceiling and adorned the surface, the wall curtain draped in velvet cream with gold embellished, and garland flowers spinal down the columns, pretty with hornbeam and maple tree stood in front of each column, beautiful lift candles giving the effect of a magical forest.

Silver went off to the side of the ballroom where the other princesses were waiting for him.

"Alright, you guys! Just try to blend in." Anne instructed.

"Blend in?" Rapzunel asked sarcastically. "In this look? You're kidding!"

"Try not to make a scene or act suspicious," Jasmine added. "We don't want to get caught or busted."

"Right!" Ariel nodded.

"Or we could just go home?" Silver groan. "We shouldn't be here and our family will be furious!!! I don't want my mom screaming in my face when she finds out!"

"Calm down!" Rapunzel comfort.

"How am I supposed to be calm?!" Silver replied, annoyed. "We just snuck into this party that we're not invited to! What will my parents say when they find out!?"

Just then, the announcer announced the arrival of the Draventon Family. All of the guests cleared out of the ballroom entranceway while the group of fifths stood in the very back and watched. The Duke of Draventon alongside his wife, the Duchess, and their six children all dress in rococo theme costumes matching their guests.

"Those are the Draventon family," Anna whispered to Silver's ear, "they are by far the most prolific family in the upper echelons of society! They are the most influential, wealthy, and powerful English noble family in the United Kingdom!"

Silver nodded understanding who these families are. His eyes even widened when he saw the Duchess having a pirate-like ship sitting on top of her towering pouf wig. One of their children, the son, stood behind their parents. This masquerader was a handsome young man with a warm fair skin tone; tall and broad-shouldered, athletic body type, rust hair color which blend of orange and chocolate brown, hidden underneath his white mask with gold lace trim was his eyes that were coneflower blue.

He's dressed in an open cream frock jacket with a filigree flock pattern, and gold embroidery. Inside was a white cotton shirt with long bishop sleeves featuring a ruffle cuff, a large white cascading ruffle on the front, and a satin creamy vest with gold embroidery and eight buttons. He wore gold knee breeches trim with gold edge and white ruffle along with full white stockings and white polish buckle shoes. His hair was pulled into a lower chuck strand of curl ponytail tie with a big satin bow that matched the color of his frock jacket and two long wavy curtains bang tucked behind his ears.

Silver couldn't believe how charming he is, how all dressed up like some prince he read from the storybook when he was a child. It's almost as if he stepped out of an 18th-century painting. For a moment, his eyes met his behind his mask as he walked past him, and Silver, blushing, quickly avoided his gaze by turning his head away.

Duke and Duchess Draventon reached the left side of the ballroom where two empty chair stands were waiting for them. They took their seats with their children standing next to them. The sons sat next to their father while the daughters sat with their mother.

The Duke got up from his seat and greeted his guests, "Welcome to our ball! We are pleased to have you tonight. I hope you enjoy the ambiance and the exquisite food! Our banquet has been catered by the finest chefs in England!"

The Duchess rose from her chair and greeted her guests with a smile as her husband took her hand, "My wife and I thank you all for coming tonight to attend! We are so happy to share this night with you all as we celebrated the 270th anniversary of the Draventon family line!" The Duke then turned to his wife and kissed her on the lip before facing his guests. "Tonight, we shall celebrate like there is no tomorrow! Let the ball begin!" He roared.

Everyone clapped and cheered as the ball began with the musician began playing their instruments.

"Remember," Anna spoke in warning shush tones while glaring at them. "Do not talk, speak, or even look at the Draventon family! They invited everyone to this party, but not us! Whatever you do, don't make the scene!"

The princesses nodded as they began splitting up to enjoy the masquerade ball leaving Silver completely alone. He has no idea what to do at this ball, surrounded by someone he doesn't even know. All he could do was just stand there and do nothing.

Jasmine showed off her dress by coming between two ladies who were bragging about where their dresses had come from.

"My dress is made in France!"

"Well, my dress is made in Italy! Made from the finest fabric they have!"

"Good evening ladies." She said to them, causing the ladies to gasp and stare at her.

"Oh!" The blond one exclaimed, feeling jealous of seeing Jasmine's gown. "Where did SHE get that?"

"And her hair!" The black one added.

Jasmine turned to face them posing slightly.

Silver stands still at the back of the ballroom, hiding behind the guests as they watch the dancers dance on the floor. He isn't interested in talking with anyone at the party, worrying he might accidentally talk with one member of the Draventon family. However, he did feel a bit relieved; he was thankful the Duke and Duchess Draventon threw a masquerade ball, at least now no guests would be able to recognize him with his mask on, so that's a good part.

Silver didn't notice one guest walk up to him. He jumped when he heard a cough beside him. He turns and notices a young man bowing to him. "Excuse me, Lady Golden." He said, taking his hand out. "Would you honor me with a dance, my lady?"

He nearly choked on his saliva, in the most improper fashion.

"I beg your pardon?" He squeaked at him, dabbing the back of his hand on the dribble, and the young man grinned at him, "A dance, this evening? I do hate seeing a beautiful young lady like yourself standing alone. It would be shameful to stand here with nothing to entertain yourself, am I not?" He questioned him.

Silver loved to dance, and he was good at it; come to think of it, he was right about that. Is he seriously going to spend the entire evening of the ball just standing there and doing nothing until they leave?

"Well…." He smirks. "What's your answer?"

Silver playfully returned the smirk. "I don't see why not." He responded. He took his hand and both entered the dance floor along with some of the dancers and began dancing around the floor.

Hours passed by and the guests were having wonderful and splendid times at the ball. Anna and Rapunzel have been eating some desserts at the dessert table while carefully not to spill some onto their gown, Jasmine has been gossiping with other ladies in the ballroom, and Ariel has been brushing her hair with a fork which causes quite a stare from the guests around her. As for Silver, he has been asked to dance by not one, not two, but rather quite a few young handsome men around his age at the ball, although he dislikes the idea of crashing the party uninvitedly, at least he was having a great time this evening. All his fear of getting caught seems to disappear.

"What a fine dancer you are!" Silver's dance partner compliments him. "What is your name Miss?" He asked.

"Oh!" Silver was surprised but yet nervous and scared. "I'm afraid I can't tell you that!" He responds, not wanting to reveal his identity.

His dance partner chuckled. "Oh! I like to spirit you away though."

Silver joined the chuckle and the music soon came to the end. He and his dance partner bow at each other and go their separate ways. As much as he enjoys dancing, Silver could use a break right now. So he decided to head outside to get some fresh air by taking a walk around the Draventon estate garden through the open window.

But one masquerader that Silver walked past saw him leaving the ballroom.

Silver walks into the garden while some guests are wandering and strolling around as the music starts to play behind him, he sees a gorgeous view of the formal English garden, it has breathtaking flowers with deciduous trees whose brilliant leaf tones reflect in the water. Another displays neatly trimmed hedges and even topiaries. The two-tier renaissance style stone water fountain features beautifully designed tiers, columns, and finials. These gardens were designed for lavish estates and are meant to be experienced on foot.

Silver feels like he's being inside a fantasy world with masked people around him. Somehow he's also feeling creepy because he doesn't know who the people at the ball might be. Duke, Marquess, Count, Lord, or any noble aristocratic at the masquerade ball.

Silver looks at the dark sky and takes a deep breath. The air is quite cold, but he feels fresher than being inside the room.

"Why is a young lady like yourself out here alone?" asked a voice suddenly. Silver was surprised but was spooked by that sudden English voice. He looks around to see where the voice comes from. It was that same masquerader that caught his eyes when the Draventon family made their entrance. Silver watches him carefully.

"Hello," he said, giving "her" a smile.

Silver stared back a bit in surprise before composing himself and smiled back to give a curtsy. "Hello," he said in a soft voice. Despite Anna telling them not to interact with the Draventon family, Silver could feel his heart hammering in his chest as they stood close.

He smiles. "I'm sorry to frighten you," the Masquerader apologized to "her", bowing his neck.

"You are forgiven," Silver said. "You gave me quite a spook tonight."

"Well then. It's a pleasure meeting you tonight, Lady Golden." The Masquerader took some small steps and took Silver's right hand, placing a kiss on his knuckle as he looked straight at Silver. Silver blushes, the way the Masquerader acts and talks makes him feel strange. Silver feels he is sincere with his words.

"What brought you here outside?" Masquerader asks. "Shouldn't you be inside where the party is?"

"Oh! Ummmm," trembled Silver, not sure how to answer his question. "Well, I was only just taking a break from all the dancing." He answered. "Especially when previously one of my dance partners kept stepping on my toe a lot." He whined when he could feel the slight pain in his toe.

"Ah," Masquerader smirks at him. "I did see you dancing earlier and you were a marvelous dancer, my lady."

"Oooh, why thank you, sir." Silver smile.

"Please, would you be so kind as to give me your name," He asked him.

"Well then, it's Sil-uh, I mean Golden, Lady Golden, hehe, that's my name," Silver said nervously, as he tried not to expose his real name to Masquerader.

"If I may ask sir," Silver said, "why aren't you inside too? I have already given you my reason. Now it's your turn to give me a reason."

Masquerader chuckled. "If you must, my mother hoped this ball would help me find an eligible young lady to become my future Duchess before my father passed." He said to "her".

Silver looked at him. "Oh! I'm guessing your mother is the Duchess Draventon?"

He nodded. "Yes. But she did try to introduce me to any other young ladies who are the daughters of one of her friends at the ball but I turned them all down."

"How come?" Silver asks him again.

"It's such that I do not wish to date someone who my mother picks out for me." He groaned as both started to walk around the garden. "Some always care about my money and title while others are not interested in me which is fine. But I just don't like being the center of attention especially if I have to wear fancy clothes."

Masquerader looked up to the sky with the moon shining bright like a diamond. "I must rather be outdoors riding my horse Thunder…." He groaned before continuing while rubbing his right side neck and looked behind him at the ballroom. "To be honest with you, I don't want to be here tonight."

"Why not?" Silver tilted his head to the side while he arched his eyebrows.

"Because I hate wasting my time, I have so much to learn!" He answered. "If I am going to assume the responsibility that comes with my title, I need a better idea of who I am. I wanted to know myself, inside and out, appearance means nothing."

Masquerader looked at Silver who was staring at him this whole time. "My apologies," he apologized, rubbing his neck with a slight blush and a sheepish smile. "I must have bored you with my problems. Please forgive me."

"Don't need to apologize," Silver smiles. "I like it, it's nice to be with someone who's completely honest."

As the two gazed into each other's eyes, both Masquerader and Silver gave each other smiles. Silver looked at him and felt a warm feeling in his stomach. He felt like he was under a spell or hypnotized by either his blue eyes or the moonlight.

"Come with me," Masquerader smiled as he extended his arm and Silver took it. They walked down the staircase of the garden and made a right turn. Silver couldn't believe his eyes, even in the dark, it was extremely beautiful to see another part of the garden. Silver had no idea where they were going, so he let Masquerader lead him.

"There is something that I want to show you. Follow me, please." They started to run towards a hedge, it was kind of funny. Then Masquerader turned around. "I've never shown this to anyone." He said.

This made Silver feel special, if he would be the first one to see this, it meant that he felt something for him, no? Then again, he's not a young lady, just a guy playing dress-up. He only felt smitten with a beautiful Lady Golden, not this plain Silver boy. Just the female character he's playing a role as. Masquerader opened a hidden wooden door and motioned "her" to go inside first. The young man couldn't believe his eyes as he walked through the door underneath the white climbing rose.

It reveals a breathtaking European-style garden, with trees, flowers, white swans swimming in the lake, the stars and moon reflecting down on the lake and a statue is present, one of a putto, who sits above with its finger in front of its lips, the other of two putti is on the right below. Silver felt like they just stepped into the painting of The Swing by Jean-Honoré Fragonard.

"A secret garden? This is beautiful!" Silver smiles as he looks around the area.

"Growing up, I always liked to hang out in my family estate garden." He explained the story of his secret garden, and both began to walk. "I decided to go on an adventure on my own and then I stumbled upon this, it was so beautiful. When I was a young boy I used to play here to escape my nanny, but now I only come here when I need to be alone. No one knows its exact location, except me…. and you." He smiles at Silver.

They continued walking around before Silver noticed a swing nearby. Masquerader came standing beside "her" before looking at "her".

"Please."

"I shouldn't."

'You should."

"I shouldn't."

"You should." Now he began to smile.

"Mmmmm. Perhaps I will." Silver grinned before taking his place on the swing and holding both ropes tight so he won't fall, and Masquerader, who was nearly hidden in the shadows on the stone bench, carefully propelled the swing with a pair of ropes. The third time he propelled him, Silver accidentally flung his shoe with an outstretched left foot when he was swinging back. Masquerader stopped the swing and went to pick up "her" shoe, his face was filled with astonishment as he picked it up.

"Glitter?" He said to "her".

Silver's slight giggle.

"Allow me?" he held up the slipper.

"Thank you," Silver held up his ivory dress and put out his right foot. Masquerader brought the slipper up and Silver's foot slid right in. Silver felt like that tonight that he was Cinderella and he was his Prince Charming.

And his glass slipper was a perfect fit.

"There," he said.

"There," Silver repeated. They stared into each other's eyes and the moment felt truly magical. The more time he spends with him, the more Silver began to fall in love with him. Everything that happened tonight was real, it wasn't a dream. Masquerader would become a beautiful memory he'll always cherish. Suddenly he pulled the swing closer, they were almost face to face now. Silver looked at him with beautiful cornfield blue eyes looking at him through his mask.

[Song: Moonlight - Ariana Grande, but most of the lyrics have been changed. Bold Italic - Singing in their head (like in movies where they sing but their mouth aren't moving)]

Masquerader:

The stars are shining

And you're right in front of me

And the music is playing

But we won't be listening tonight

Masquerader felt his heart pounding faster than ever before. He could smell Lady Golden's sweet body scent. He can also hear Lady Golden's heartbeat beating in his ear. Silver looked at Masquerader who stared back at him with his blue eyes. Masquerader held out his hand and Silver took his invite as he slowly got up from the swing.

Masquerader:

Every look (every look), every touch (every look)

Makes me wanna give you my heart (oooh)

I am crushin' on you, my lady

Please don't let this be a dream

They gaze into each other's eyes as the moonlight shines bright in the night sky while holding each other's hands together and begin waltzing. Silver loved the way Masquerader held his hands, he felt like he was floating in the air, and his feet did not touch the ground. Their feet didn't even touch the grass as their bodies were pressed against each other.

Masquerader:

'Cause I never knew, I never knew

You could hold moonlight in your hands

'Til the night I held you

You are my moonlight

Oh, oh, Moonlight

The two continued waltzing around the secret garden with only the moon and stars as their light. Two swans were coming close together as the two danced. The pair nuzzled each other, forming the shape of a heart as their heads touched.

Silver:

I placed my hand in his

But I wish I'm not a lady

He's giving me Prince Charming

But I got sadness in my eyes

The two danced in the moonlight under the stars. Masquerader was amazed by the beauty of "Lady Golden's" black hair and "her" ivory gown. But Silver started to feel guilty, Masquerader only loved "Lady Golden" not him. Silver is just playing as her and this Masquerader doesn't know that Lady Golden is not a young lady but a young man. It was a lie, a trick, and a fantasy.

Silver:

Oh his smile (oh his smile) is so dreamily (is so dreamily)

Makes me want to show him the real me (oooh)

I've started fallin' in love, with him

But I am not a real lady

Silver and Masquerader soon stop waltzing as both turn their body away and back away from each other, blushing. Silver could feel his heart racing with each beat before turning back to Masquerader who turned back at "her".

Masquerader (Silver):

Cause I never knew (There's no Lady Golden), I never knew (She is not real)

You could hold (I'm so sorry) moonlight in your hands (for tricking you)

'Til the night I held you (I wish I didn't fool you)

You are my moonlight

Moonlight (Please forgive me)

My Lady, I am fallin'

You're my moonlight (Terribly sorry)

Moonlight

Both look at each other before Masquerader walks up to "her" and holds his hand out, Silver takes it and the two of them continue waltzing. Never did they take their eyes off each other. Both look into each other's eyes.

Masquerade:

She's so beautiful

She makes me wanna fly

Masquerader felt nervous and excited as he stared at Silver's beautiful brown eyes. His brown eyes glistened with the moonlight.

Masquerader:

I could feel our heartbeat beating fast

Against our chests

Masquerader wasn't lying when he said he could feel "her" heartbeat against his chest. He felt butterflies inside of him.

Silver:

Sweet like a flower

But he's such a man

He doesn't know what will hit him

When he's holding pretender tight

The two finished their waltz, Masquerader looked at Silver as he looked at him, the two were blushing as they stared at each other.

Masquerader & Silver:

And I/you call you/me "Moonlight" too

Masquerader slowly raises his left arm out, Silver takes his hand as the two slowly approach back to the swing while smiling at each other from ear to ear. Silver sat back down on the swing as Masquerader bent down with one knee very close in front of him with his arms holding onto the rope as support.

"I must say," Masquerader started, looking straight into Silver's eyes, he was looking deep into his soul, "I am very happy that I met you."

Silver felt his heart skipping a beat, the air around him felt like it was getting colder. "And I… and I am grateful that I met you too."

Masquerader took Silver's left hand between "her" fingers and kissed it gently. "You are so beautiful, Lady Golden. You have captured my heart and I have never felt this feeling before."

Silver blushed hearing those words. But knowing he's speaking to Lady Golden, not him. "Oh… uhm.. thank you. That's nice to hear." He said, feeling awkward.

"Lady Golden," Masquerader said. "If you may, would you be so kind as to please take off your mask so I could see your beautiful face?" He said. "So that way, I can always remember that face again."

Silver started to feel a bit panicking, Anna advised them all specifically not to take off their mask when they sneak in.

"Oh, but I can't." He said, shaking his head slightly.

"Why not?" Masquerader asked.

"I just can't…."

"Hmmm, if this makes you feel any better." Masquerader slowly smiles. "How about I remove my mask and then you remove your." He said.

Masquerader slowly untied his mask first.

Silver hesitated for a moment. Then, the ribbon comes off and the Masquerader slowly starts to take off his mask, revealing his handsome face to him. But his face… his face is what makes it drain all of Silver's color down.

That rounded face, those blue eyes, charming smile.

Silver's jaw dropped and his eyes wide open in pure shock. That guy is no other than…

"Allow me to introduce myself ." He said. "My name is Lord Anthony Draventon, son of my father the 7th Duke of Draventon."

That guy is Anthony, he met a REAL Anthony at the masquerade ball.

If Silver could die from a heart attack right now, he could. But he didn't, all he could do right now was stare at him.

Dun. Dun. DUNNNN! Did I make your mouth drop? You never expected to meet Anthony aka THEE Anthony, if you recalled or are confused, back in "Living in the Magical World" by TheDragonSaver, at the final chapter, Silver met this redhead guy in Animal Kingdom before it was revealed to be Staghart a later on in chapter 22 of "Saving the Magical World", who reveals that Puck turns him into a human as a joke but don't worry that will explain later in the future chapters.

If you notice, yes this chapter is the same chapter back in "A Days in the Magical World" but with more added scenes and some editing. This was back then during the development when I am planning on writing Silver his own story but set in a different universe however that idea was eventually scrapped. Now, let's talk about the costumes they wore. Each princess was given more historical attire while Silver was given more simple attire, this was done on purpose as I wanted Silver to stand out more than the rest of the guests including the princesses at the ball since the rococo era is known for their over-the-top look with a fashion icon like Madame de Pompadour and Marie Antoinette.
