A/N: Hello, everyone. Before we begin, this chapter is based on one of the episodes from Ben 10 UA. And it might cause some confusion, so I just want to put it out there. Also, I've just recently posted a new story called A Certain Elementalist. I might have a rough start on that, but I'm going to continue writing it since I like writing it. Make sure to follow A Certain Elementalist and Ben 10 AF Remaster too so you don't miss a thing.

In Bellwood, two policemen were patrolling the city in their car. One of the police noticed something inside the alley, "Stop the car." His partner stop the car by his orders.

They got out of the car, looking into the alley. As they walk closer, they heard something. In the alley, there were two glow white eyes, looking at the officers.

The officers quickly react by pulling out their guns, "Freeze!" The thing quickly retreat in dark, escaping from the officer. One officer went to the car, calling the station. "Mayday, we got a report on the mummy again."

Meanwhile, the thing with glowing eyes revealed to be a mummy. He stretched his bandage, swinging upwards. He continues swinging, finding a place to hide.

Bellwood, Julie's House

06.43 AM

At Julie's House, Julie was getting up after having a good night sleep. "What a good night sleep."

[Ship, Ship!] Ship comes out of under bed, looking at Julie.

She crotched down, patting his head. "Good morning, Ship. Did you get a good sleep?" Ship nodded, telling her he got a good sleep. "That's good. Don't forget what I told you. Don't get caught by my parents."

[Ship!] Ship nodded, following Julie's command.

Julie comes out of her bedroom, heading to the kitchen. She saw her mom and dad were already up. Her dad noticed Julie was there, "Oh. Morning, Julie."

"Morning." She respond. She took a seat and saw her mom makes rice and fried salmon for breakfast. Her stopped cooking, finish making everything for breakfast. "Itadakimasu," She said before eating the rice.

"So, I heard that you went a date with one of your classmates. How was it?" Her mom asked.

"The date was fun. We had some fun time together, while getting to know each other." Julie told her.

"That's good. Did he have any exes beforehand?" Her dad jokingly said.

"Dad…" Julie's mom couldn't help but chuckle at Julie's expression.

While recovering herself, she saw the tv broadcasting the news called Harangue Nation. [Hello there, this is the Harangue Nation. I'm your host, Will Harangue. Boy, does last night events were crazy?]

Will Harangue clear his throat on the situation, [For those who were unaware, there were some fighting happened at the pier. And no, I'm not talking about a couple or family anything like that. I'm talking about something out of the ordinary. This is a recording that was taken at the pier.]

The footage their showing is Chamalien fighting against Ship in a police car. Chamalien turned invisible, causing Ship confused. Then on top of the stand, Chamalien was shocked by Brainstorm and thrown off.

Ship crashed into Chamalien, causing him to fell to the water. While Julie's parents were unconvinced by the footage, Julie was surprised to see someone actually recording the fight.

[Now, I know there some skeptical that footage is fake. I would be convinced by this claim too, until I found out this isn't the only time where those creatures appeared. Look at these other footages.] The footage showed Humungousaur holding the bridge and Jetray chasing the Rust Bucket 2.

[But that doesn't stop there folks, the world has been experiencing this too.] The other recording shows a four-arms alien fighting a mutated alien on top of the Golden Gate Bridge, XRL8 chasing a stolen car in Mexico, a crystal alien fighting a giant robot in Yosemite Park (causing property damage in the process), and so on.

[We don't know how many are there, but we do know they cause property destruction in our world! And it's hard to believe that some of the people was willing to protect them for 'saving their lives.']

Julie's dad turned off the tv, not wanting to hear Harangue rambling. "All right. I think I've heard enough from that guy."

"Yeah, him talking about those… things on live made me think what would the children think." Suddenly, Ms. Yamamoto was ringing. "I better take this." Her husband nodded in response. She picked up the call, "Hello?"

While she's talking to someone on the phone, Mr. Yamamoto noticed that Julie was behaving oddly. "Julie, are you all right?"

She jumped by her dad's question, "W-What? O-Oh, I'm fine, dad." Her speaking managed to get more suspicion.

"What's wrong? If it's something troubling, we're always here."

"I'm fine… dad. Just feeling tired of sleeping late." She lied to her dad. Julie was thinking of the footages that Harangue showed. She has several questions relate to Ben: How long has he known Aliens? How many aliens he can changed into? Who (or what) was that mutation that Ben fought? And so on.

After that, she started to have some headache. "What's that?" She heard her mom was surprised, "I see. Thank you." She hanged up, heading back to the dinner table.

"Who was that, mom?" Julie asked.

"That was the principle. Apparently, some of the teachers became panic after seeing the footage." Julie raised an eyebrow by this, "You have some time-off for three weeks. According to the principle."

"Guess we should worry about what the town is thinking."

Julie raised her hand, "Can I go visit my friends? I'm worried about them."

Mr. Yamamoto nodded, "Got it. You can visit them. But be careful on the streets."

Julie was happy by the response, "Thanks, dad." She went to her bedroom, getting change.

While she's changing, her mom was worried about this. "Do you think Julie will be okay?"

"Honey, she's all grown up. Julie can take care of herself."

"But what about-?"

"Remember what my mom used to say?" Mr. Yamamoto interrupts her, "It doesn't matter how much danger in the world. All that matters is the safety of your loved ones."

After some thinking, she nodded on his mom's words. "You're right, dear. I might have been too worry about her." Julie gets out of her bedroom, wearing her usual attire.

"I'm heading out!"

"Right, be careful!" Julie wore her shoes, and stepping out of the house. She heads to Mr. Smoothy by riding her scooter.

Bellwood, Mr. Smoothy

06.53 AM

While Julie was heading to Mr. Smoothy, the Alien Force were having trouble on what to do now. Kevin sighed, not wanting anymore silence. "So, you guys watch that news?"

"About my actions when I was alien, or that they started to make connections between what I've done here in Bellwood?" Ben asked.

"I honestly had a hard time picking one of those." Lucy responded.

"You're right, Kevin. Our teachers suddenly went into panic after hearing it and my brother forced to come back early from college, which is shame because he's almost got a good grade there." Gwen said.

Then they saw Julie coming to them, riding a scooter. "Hey, guys. Did I come at the wrong time?"

"No, you weren't." Kevin responded.

Gwen noticed that Ship isn't there, "Julie, where's Ship?" Julie showed them her back, and it was Ship pretending to be a backpack. "That's good to know." Julie turned her body to normal position.

Ben saw Julie sighing, "Do you have some questions?"

"Yes, I do. I… REALLY… wanted an explanation." Julie said.

"He'll explained everything at my garage. Don't want some locals suspicious by our conversation." Kevin went to his car, started the engine. The others went into his car, while Julie started her scooter.

Bellwood, Kevin's Garage

07.12 AM

Arriving at Kevin's Garage, Julie gets off her scooter as the others gets off Kevin's car. Ben noticed that Julie was staring at him, waiting for an answer. "All right, I'll answer. Where do I begin?"

"I suppose your watch?" Julie pointed it out.

"Guess that's a good place to start." Ben and Julie went far from the others as they're having a conversation. Ben took a deep breath before answering, "This watch is called the Omnitrix. It was design as a portable library of intergalactic genetic data that allowed the wielder to change their DNA at will and transform into a variety of different alien species, each with their own unique abilities."

"So, how many are there?"

Ben touched his chin, "That's a tough one. When I got this first time, they were only ten. But after time, I've been getting more aliens throughout." Ben explained. "After I wore the Omnitrix, I've been using it to save lives while using it for some pranks on Gwen."

"Then did you encounter other aliens out there?" Ship got off Julie's back, joining in.

"I did meet some. There were bounty hunters, monsters, and some were a friend of grandpa Max." Ben respond.

"What about those fights you were in? Were some of them keep coming back?"

"Some are. Others are that hadn't seen a while. While some… are questionable." Ben said, "There was Vilgax, an alien who was trying to claim the Omnitrix to rule the galaxy."

"What about that thing you fight in San Francisco?" Ben widened by the question.

"That fight… it's a long story." Julie was confused, while Ship titled his head.

While they're talking, Kevin, Lucy, and Gwen were discussing about the footage that was given to Harangue Nation. "So, what do we know about the footage?"

"We do know that they've been recording during Ben's fight without him noticing." Lucy said.

"But for more footages that are begin to linked, it certainly will cause some panic."

"More than that. Someone would find out his identity." Gwen pointed them out. Lucy nodded, agreeing with Gwen.

"Sounds true. If we don't do something, people that are close to Tennyson will be targeted."

Lucy then remembered something, "I think I know how we can solve this problem." Her words got Gwen and Lucy's attention. "Gwen, do you have your laptop?"

"Yeah, I bought it with me. Why?" Lucy smile, conducting a plan in her head.

While they're doing that, Ben explains Julie Kevin's background. She was shocked to hear that he was once an enemy, but became a friend he can trust. "Wow, I never knew Kevin would do that."

"Neither did I. But after some self-thinking, I realized we're not so different at all." Ben said. "Sure, he isn't human. But he's still someone that wants to cause mischief, or having a hard life when he doesn't have anyone to talk to." Ship wiggle his tail at Ben's words.

"So, after he was thrown into the Null Void, he became good?"

"Sort of. Sure, he may be rough around the edges, but he's not all that bad."

Gwen touches Ben's shoulder, "Ben, you might want see this." He nodded, and went to the car with Julie and Ship behind him.

"So, what did you find?"

"Your fan club, Tennyson." Ben was shocked to hear that he has a fan club. He saw Gwen's laptop by the Plumber's Badge.

"We found where the footage coming from. Here, let me show you." Lucy showed Ben something using Gwen's laptop. He saw the footages of his previous battles and images of other aliens appearing.

Ben was surprised by the finding, "This is deep. How did you guys find this?"

"We thank Lucy for that. The Plumber Badge have the tools for this situation."

"So, what am I seeing now?" Ben asked.

"What you're seeing is the Extranet. Basically, an intergalactic version of the internet." Lucy explains to Ben and Julie.

"Sounds advance. So, what did you find out about the footage?" Julie asked.

"Someone was putting all the footage of Ben's aliens, and puts them in a folder. And that folder was sent to the news." Ben facepalmed by this.

"Whoever send this, wanted your identity reveal, Tennyson." Kevin said.

Ben touched his chin, "Can you track where it was sending from?" He asked Gwen.

Gwen took her laptop, tracking it. "I'm working on it right now." She pinpoint all possible locations, until there was only one location left. "Found it. Looks like the source came from Bellwood… that's in apartment."

The others looked at each other, knowing what they need to do.

Bellwood, Apartment

07.43 AM

They arrived at the apartment, where they tracked the source of the footage. "So, which floor was it again?" Julie asked.

"It's the 5th floor." Gwen tells her as they going upstairs.

As they going up, Ben tells something important. "Look, we should handle this carefully."

"Like a good cop, Tennyson? This guy could potentially reveal your identity with one button." Kevin tells him.

"But we don't know how old is he, or why he's doing this. We need to handle it carefully."

"He's got point." "That's true." Lucy nodded, agreeing with the other girls. Kevin sighed, as he should've seen this coming.

They arrived at the room, and tensions were high. Ben knocks on the door, hoping someone would answer. They saw a woman opens the door, "Did my package arrived?" She looked out and saw the Alien Force, especially Ben. "Aren't you-?"

"You knew who I am?" Ben asked.

She nodded, "My son told me that you were that alien superhero that's appearing the news. But I think that's just ridiculous." They looked at each other on that claim.

"Yeah, about that. Your son posted those clips on the news, and got their schools into a panic." Kevin points out, shocking her.

"Oh my, I didn't think that would happen." The mom said. "I suppose you want to talk with my son?"

"Yeah, we don't want him to cause some controversy in my life."

"Right, I'll go tell him." She went inside and the others went in. She knocks on the room, calling her son. "Jimmy! You have visitors!"

Someone opens the door, and it was a ten-year-old boy. He has fair complexioned skin, light-brown hair, and black eyes. He wore a green hoodie with a white 10 on the black circle behind the straps, and a white shirt. He also wore dark green cargo pants and black shoes.

Jimmy saw Ben and makes him exciting, "Oh! My! Gosh! You're actually here!" Ben take a step away, seeing he's a fan.

"U-Um, could you please calm yourself down? It's awkward talking like this." Jimmy realized and snap himself out of it.

"Sorry, I always getting excited since I get to meet my hero!" Kevin clear his throat, getting his attention.

"Can we come in?" Kevin asked.

"Oh, sure! I don't mind." Jimmy lets them in, welcoming them. They saw his bedroom and it was a mess. "Sorry about the mess. I didn't have time to clean it up."

"No worries. Same couldn't be said to my room." Kevin saw a string board that's fill with pictures of Ben's battles, aliens he could transform, and his id.

Kevin confronts him about his, "You were spying on Ben?!"

That got Jimmy scared by him, "I-I didn't spy him. I was looking into all of the incidents that he's involve. Well… I guess I was spying on him." Gwen comes in, touching Kevin's shoulder.

"Kevin, calm down."

"Calm down?! This kid could've revealed Ben to the world!"

"H-Hey, chill out!" Ben tells him, trying to calm him down. "I'm sure Jimmy had some reasons that he wants to tell us." He turned to Jimmy, who was scared of Kevin.

After calming down, Jimmy tells them his reason. "I thought showing those footages will help Mr. Tennyson getting more famous and makes a lot money. That's what heroes want, right?" Julie sighed, knowing that Jimmy is just a kid.

"Jimmy, you think what you're doing was right, but I don't think it's right to show the public my secrets." Ben tells him.

"B-But-!"

Gwen then comes in, "Jimmy, Ben has a lot of enemies. If his identity were revealing to the public, everybody that's close to him will be in danger. So, please understand that."

Jimmy looked down, feeling guilty of what will happened if Ben's enemies attacked people that are close to him. "You're right, I'm sorry."

"No, it's all right. You were still young, so I understand that." Ben cheers Jimmy up, stating that he's understand on who he's feeling.

"Thank you, Mr. Tennyson."

"Please, don't be formal to me. Just call me Ben, all right?" Jimmy nodded, feeling happy that he didn't get his hero angry.

"Oh, right! I want to show you something." Jimmy went to his computer, showing something in it.

Kevin groaned at him, "Oh, boy. What is it this time?" Gwen punch Kevin's shoulder, since he was rude to Jimmy.

"I found something that I'm not sure connects with you Mr.- I mean Ben." He shows them a footage of blurry figure attacking the police station. The final shot show bandages attacking the police and then the camera that's recording. "The footage was taken few days ago, but wasn't shown to public."

Lucy touched her chin, "This might be a Thep Khufans. First time seeing this for a while."

"So, this alien is like a mummy?" Jimmy asked.

"Got that right." Kevin respond.

Ben crossed his arms, "But how is it here? Isn't the alien mummy come from another dimension?"

"Someone or something must have brought it here."

"Either way you better find it quick. The police might catch it soon." Jimmy said, as he's listening to police radio.

"Right, we'll be heading there." The Alien Force left the apartment, heading to where the alien mummy was located.

Bellwood

08.13 AM

Kevin drove his car to downtown, following the directions that he's given. "Are you sure we're heading the right way? The kid's skill is questionable."

"And you're questioning it since he figured out Ben's secret identity?" Gwen gives him a raised eyebrow on that. Kevin didn't answer, continue driving to the location.

"Seems that Alien Mummy were looking for police officers. Do you think his target them?" Julie asked.

"Unlikely, Jimmy said that the officers that encounter the Mummy were either unharmed or wrapped in bandages." Ben tells her.

"Hopefully we get some answer." Gwen looked at the map, seeing their close to the marked location.

"Turn right." Kevin turn right, arriving at the location. They saw they're in an empty alley where the sun barely brightened the paths and there's only trash around. They got out of the car, looking around the area.

"Not bright enough. Gwen, can you track it here?" Ben asked.

Gwen closed her eyes, sensing anything out of the ordinary. She opens her eyes, and shook her head. "Can't find anything. It's hard to tell since the only I can sense here are rats." They saw a rat coming out of the trash and runs into the darkness.

"Guess we have to find it ourselves." Julie then heard Ship growling on her back.

"Ship, what's wrong?" Lucy looked at Ship, trying to see the problem.

"He seems to be detecting something. I don't know what it is, but I don't think it will be good."

"Uh… I think the word is, something found us." Kevin points to the alley, hearing some noise. Julie turned around, trying to make it out.

As the thing gets closer, they saw the feet were bandages. Gwen prepared her magic. Kevin grabs hid car, absorbing the matter. Ben prepared his Omnitrix. The thing revealed to be the Mummy, which causes Julie a little frightened, 'All right, Alien Mummies. They're real.'

Lucy noticed something was off, "Wait, guys!" She calls out, "I don't think he's trying to attack us."

"Lucy, Thep Khufans known to be from the Anur System. Which is where literal monsters come from." Kevin tells her.

"I know that, but shouldn't his arms be like that?" Ben looked at his arms and saw it's almost like he surrendering himself.

"She's got a point. Those hands gesturers almost like he's surrendering himself." Gwen noticed it too, and she stand down.

"Gwen, you're believing this too?"

"Kevin, you need to calm down. You do remember not all aliens are evil, right?" Gwen told him, reminding him Lucy and Alan. Knowing she's right, he puts his fighting stance down, but doesn't change back.

Lucy walk up towards it, who was tilting its head. "Sorry about this, but hope you wouldn't mind." She pulls out her Plumber Badge, sending out wave towards him. After the wave hits him, Ben asked Lucy.

"So, what does that do?"

"It's like a homing device. It could translate any alien languages that are available in the Plumber's Databanks." Lucy tells them. "Come on, you can speak now." The Mummy looked at the Alien Force and does a hand gesture.

"Uh, are you going to speak?"

"Come think of it. I didn't hear any sounds from him." Ben reminded them there's no sound coming from the Mummy.

"Are you… muted?" Julie asked, which the Mummy respond with a nod. "I see."

"Guess that explain the silent. Can you use sign language?" The Mummy respond with a nod.

"Great, so can you tell us why are you attacking officers?" The Mummy does a sign language, saying he didn't mean to attack them. "So, they attack you?" He nods back.

"But why meeting them? You're looking for help?" He turned to Kevin, giving him a nod. "What kind of help do you need?"

The Mummy touched his right chin in response. Gwen recognized what he's trying to say, "Home. You want to go home?" He nods to response.

"Hey, Lucy. Do we have a way to get to his home?" Lucy sighed.

"It's… hard to say. It's possible, but looking for an Alien Tech for that is going to be needle in a haystack."

"You're saying there's not many options to get to his home?" Julie asked.

"Unfortunately. He's going have to stay with the Plumbers before we could find him a way back." The Mummy looked down, feeling sad that he's stuck here for a while.

Ben went to comfort him, "Hey, don't worry. I'm sure the Plumbers will find a way to get you home. So, please, trust them." The Mummy nods, thanking Ben for comforting him. Suddenly, they hear police sirens nearby.

"Shoot, they're here!"

"Great, what are we going to do?" Kevin asked.

"I have a plan." Ben tells them, "I'll cause a diversion while you guys escape with him."

"But how are you supposed to trick them?" Ben smile, as he activating his Omnitrix.

Bellwood

08.19 AM

"Do you think this is where that Mummy is?" A police officer asked his partner.

"It's based on that detective's speculation. I mean, do you think a mummy can stay here in broad daylight?"

"Don't second guess on her claim. She managed to discover the motive of the killer and the location of the killings for 24 hours when she 14!"

"But don't you think she seems to be overworking lately?" He asked he continue entering the alley, "After hearing the news, she seems to be putting all of the footages that were caught in her notes."

"Hey, us officers are also overwork. Don't think that her job is easy." The other officer rolled his eyes, not bother responding it.

As they continue walking, they heard a footstep. They stop walking, and hear the footstep again. "It's close. Be careful." As they walked slowly, they saw the Mummy in front of them. "There it is!" He pulls out their guns, aiming at the Mummy.

"Hey, what were the orders again when we saw the Mummy?"

"Shoot to kill. Those were the orders." The Mummy quickly runs into another part of the alley, "Quickly!" They immediately in pursuit of him.

They turn right and saw the Mummy way ahead of them. The Mummy stretched his arms, swing himself in the air. "Great, he's going to get away."

"Let's get to the car." They nodded and went to their police car.

As the policemen started chasing the Mummy, they saw it was swinging buildings to buildings. As the Mummy continue swinging, he saw something that caught his attention. He nods before turning his swinging to the left.

The Mummy enters an alleyway, hoping he would lose the officers. He runs into a dead end, but extend his arm to get over the wall. But he was abrupted by the police officers, "Freeze!" He turns around, saw two officers pointing their guns at the Mummy. "Don't move a muscle!"

The Mummy stares into their eyes before jumping over the wall. The officer tries grabbing the bandages, but it slipped off his hand, giving the Mummy an escape.

They went to the other side of the wall, looking for the Mummy. After looking for 5 minutes, they couldn't find him anywhere. "Damn it, it got away!"

"We should head back to the station. Don't want the detective to be more worked-up." He nods, heading back to his car. After they left, the dumpster was open by muddy hand with the Omnitrix on it. It's revealed to be Sloodge that's hiding in the dumpster.

"Looks like I managed to get them off in time. Better change back." He pressed the Omnitrix, turning back into Ben. He gets out of the alley and saw Kevin's car parked by the toilets. He opens the door, sitting on the back.

The others smell something awful on the back seat, "Did you dump yourself in a dumpster?" Kevin asked.

"Hey, I need to find a good hiding spot! I'd probably getting a bath soon." Kevin smirk before starting his car up.

Bellwood, Warehouse

08.31 AM

They arrived at the warehouse. Lucy and the Mummy gets off the car first, "Are you sure you want to do this yourself, Lucy?" Gwen asked.

"Don't sweat it, Gwen! I'll be fine. Besides, I'll be getting him to safety." The Mummy does sign language, telling them that his grateful for their help.

"Don't mention it. We're happy to help." Julie tells him.

"Come on, let's go back to town." Kevin started the car, driving back to Bellwood.

After they left, they waited for the Plumber's ship to come. They saw ship coming down, landing in front of them. Two Plumbers came out of the ship, walking towards Lucy and the Mummy. "You know the drill. Get him to HQ and find away getting him back to his home. Understand?"

[Yes, Ma'am.] The Plumber respond. As the Plumbers escort him to the ship, the Mummy waves at Lucy. Lucy smile at the wave as the Plumber's ship taking off, heading back into space.

Bellwood, BPD

09.02 AM

At the BPD (Bellwood Police Department), the two officers report their findings on the field to the female detective. "I see. So that mummy has escape."

The detective has short black hair and navy eyes. She's wearing a black leather jacket, black pants, and black boots. "You two, dismiss." Both nodded, heading back to patrolling.

The detective puts the evidence on the evidence board, adding the testimony from earlier. She touch her chin, trying to come up with any idea. "Overworking again?" She turns around and saw middle aged man wearing a police uniform with two cups of coffee.

"Shouldn't that be obvious? Aren't you too?" He chuckles at her questioning.

"Maybe I am." She took the cup and drinks it. "You seem to be collecting findings on the internet. Did the news help your mind?"

"Maybe. But judging by the reaction of people watching the news, they seem to be wary of their surroundings right now."

"Yeah, you got that right." He looked at the bulletin board with all picture of aliens appearing around the country and the dates that have been shown. She took a look at the date, founding some connections.

"5 years, huh?" She puts in the date on when these photos had taken and managed to make connection. "I see. So they must have gone into hiding."

The man heard his phone ringing. He pulls it out and saw the caller's name, "Hey, I better take this. Take care of yourself."

"You too." The man went to his office, leaving the detective by the evidence board. She took a look one of the photos and saw the plant alien having a strange symbol on his chest, "This symbol… Better takes note." She puts it back before making some notes about it.
