Alright, time for the next chapter. Just a little spoiler to all you readers, this is it; This is where it happens. This is where Sinestro finally turns into a Yellow Lantern. But this won't be all bad, because for bringing Sinestro down, Eddie will receive a little something from the Guardians. And I don't know if I said this before, but I was gonna have Sinestro's ring go to Anna, because of how brave that princess is, but I have other plans for her. Anyhow, Sinestro's in big trouble, so let's find out what happens, shall we?
After stopping Sinestro's reign of terror on Earth, and apprehending him, Hal Jordan, Carol Ferris, John Stewart and Guy Gardner were taking him to the Guardians of Oa.
After taking him home to recharge his ring, Elsa and Eddie met up with the others on the planet, and they made their to the Guardians citadel, while Sinestro was still in a bubble, held by John.
The 6 human Lanterns all flew down to the citadel, and into their chamber. As they landed, John dissolved the bubble construct, then constructed shackles around Thaal's wrists, and they all proceeded into the chamber, where the Guardians of Oa all stood in their circle.
John dissolved the shackles on Sinestro, then moved him forward in front of the Guardians.
"Thaal Sinestro of Korugar, former Green Lantern of sector 1417, you are brought here with the charges of terrorization to innocent beings on the planet Earth!" Appa began with a really stern voice. "You are also charged with treason, for you have violated many rules of the Green Lantern code, and you have entered the forbidden chamber of fear. You misused the powers of the Green Lantern power ring to spread instill terror in helpless innocent humans. What do you have to say for yourself?!" He pointed directly at Sinestro.
"You may be the Guardians of Oa, and have the greatest minds in the galaxy, but you're all weak! This whole time you've been leading a lie! Saying willpower is the strongest energy in the galaxy, but it's not. Unlike you all, I wasn't afraid to embrace the power of fear. I had the courage to do what no one else would've been
strong enough to, and that's embrace fear. None of you will never have the courage, and that's why you all will always be weak!"
"If I may interrupt," Eddie said stepping forward. "Guardians of Oa, I present you with his ring." He held his right hand out, and in the palm of his hand was Sinestro's Green Lantern ring.
Appa's eyes began to glow green, and Sinestro's floated up towards them, where he took it in his hand. After taking it, he turned his attention back down to the former Green Lantern. "Sinestro, what you have done was unacceptable, and completely unforgivable. As punishment for your crimes, you are herby banished from Oa, and stripped from the Corps effective immediately. You are to live out the rest of your days in exile, on your home planet of Korugar."
"If you think that you've seen the last of me and the power of fear, then you're wrong. Soon my new weapon will be complete, and you will all suffer the wrath over the power of fear!"
"Guy Gardner, John Stewart, take him away." Appa ordered two of the human Lanterns.
"Let's go, you," Guy said as he and John grabbed Sinestro by his arms, and forcibly escorted him out.
"I swear to it, I will return, more powerful than ever, and you will all fear me!" Sinestro yelled back as Guy and John took him out.
"Now on another subject," Appa continued. "Which one of you is responsible for bringing Sinestro to justice?"
"That would be Eddie here, Appa," Hal answered stepping forward.
"He and his power over hope are what brought Sinestro down," Elsa said also stepping in. "What's more, he was willing to give his life, to save countless others."
"Is this true?" Appa asked, looking towards Eddie.
"Yes, sir. It is."
"Step forward, young man."
Eddie did as Appa said and stepped closer to the Guardians.
"Edward J Michaels, in light of the few deeds you have done for the Corps, and for countless others, though they are few, your actions are nothing short of heroic."
"Thank you."
"And so, for what you have done, we the Guardians of Oa offer you this gift."
Then Appa, along with the rest of the Guardians raised their arms into the air, and then electric green aura's surrounded them all.
High above them, a sphere of electric green light shined above them, then an object in the shape of the Green Lantern's logo floated down towards Eddie.
"A badge?" Eddie said confusedly while taking the item.
"Yes," Appa continued on. "We ask that you wear it with pride, as a symbol of honor. Know that from hereon out, you have our full trust, and you will have access to whatever you may need. For you are hereby dubbed as general of the Green Lantern Corps."
Eddie's expression turned instantly to happiness, and Elsa, along with carol and Hal all applauded.
"Thank you so much. I'll not let any of you down. I'll take this honor in greatly."
"You are all dismissed."
After Appa's final words, the four human Lanterns all left the chamber.
"This must be so awesome for you, Eddie," said Hal excitedly. "General of the Corps. And you're not even a Green Lantern."
"I know. But as excited and glad as I am about this, it's still not the best of my days," Eddie replied saddened.
"Sinestro was our friend," Elsa said walking up next to Eddie. "I feel like Eddie and I both knew him better than anyone else, and he betrayed us all."
"I know. The man was a legend in the Corps. A man of honor, turned to one consumed by evil," Hal responded. "Though he did betray us, he will be missed by many."
"Come on, Eddie. Let's go home," Elsa said and she and Eddie left Hal and Carol.
They both flew into the skies, out of the atmosphere of Oa and into space. There they made their way back to Arendelle on Earth.
At the Arendelle castle, Anna and Kristoff were both in the courtyard, and they looked to see Elsa and Eddie descending from the skies.
They both landed, and changed back into their original clothes, and the first thing Anna noticed was the saddened expression on Eddie's face.
"Hey. What's wrong?" Anna asked him.
"It's kind of a long story. We'd better go inside and talk about it," Elsa said as she led Eddie into the castle, while Anna and Kristoff followed close behind.
Meanwhile, on the planet of the yellow chamber of fear, the yellow entity Parallax had finished forging the weapon.
"At last. It is finished. The new weapon of fear is completed."
Parallax forced a small object out of the center of the chamber, and into space.
On his home planet of Korugar, Sinestro was there, standing on the edge of a cliff and looking up to the starry night skies, and was plotting his revenge against the Guardians, and all the rest of the Green Lantern Corps. Especially his former Blue Lantern friend, Eddie.
And then, all of a sudden, a bright, yellow light shined directly above him.
Thaal looked upward to see a yellow item descending down to him.
"My weapon of fear," He said holding his left hand out, and the item landed in the palm of his hand. The yellow light faded, and it was revealed as a yellow ring, with the symbol of fear.
Sinestro took the ring, and put it on the middle finger of his left hand; The second he put it on, a yellow aura surrounded his body, and a suit, much like his Green Lantern one, materialized from the yellow light onto his body. But this suit was yellow and black, and we wore the symbol of fear on his chest. Sinestro flew out of the atmosphere of his planet, and back into space.
After a while, he'd made it back to the yellow chamber, where Parallax was waiting for him.
"So this is the weapon? A ring that harnesses the yellow power of fear?" Sinestro asked.
"Yes. And now the time has come to unlock the true power of fear."
"What must I do?"
"Once unlocked, we shall spawn our own Corps. We will make more yellow rings, and grow an army to destroy the Green Lanterns and the Guardians. Enter the yellow chamber, and I shall give you the oath."
Sinestro did as he was told and entered the center of the chamber, where Parallax began to infuse Sinestro with the yellow, fiery light, giving him the oath.
"In blackest day, in brightest night, beware your fears made into light," Sinestro began to speak. "Let those who try to stop what's right, burn like my power. Sinestro's might!"
Once he finished, the yellow light all began to gather together, in the middle of the chamber, and it began to forge a yellow power battery.
"Well done. I will be the entity that fuels your new power. This is the start of the Yellow Lantern Corps." And Parallax vanished into the battery.
"No. Not the Yellow Lantern Corps. This will be known as the Sinestro Corps," Sinestro said looking to his newest weapon: The yellow power battery of fear.
And there you have it. Sinestro is finally yellow. The moment I think some of you have been waiting for. As I said in the beginning, I was gonna have Anna get Sinestro's ring, but I have a much better idea for both her and Kristoff. Know what I mean by that? If not you'll find out next chapter.
