Alright, here's the next chapter of the story. As I said last chapter, I had plans for Anna and Kristoff, and here it is. Some of you suggested I do this for Anna and Kristoff, and a little spoiler, it does involve them getting their own power rings. Know which color they'll get? Does the title give that away? Well, here's your answer.
Two weeks after Sinestro had been brought to justice, in Arendelle Anna and Kristoff had gotten home from date night, after Kristoff had taken Anna to one of the best restaurants in Arendelle.
"Thank you for dinner, Kristoff," Anna thanked her boyfriend. "I had a lot of fun tonight."
"Me too. I swear my life has gotten better each day, ever since you stepped into it," said the mountain man.
Anna got all warm and cozy inside all of a sudden. "You really mean that?"
"I do. And I'm glad we met." Kristoff then looked all around for a few seconds, then turned back to Anna. "Since nobody's looking." He grabbed Anna and pulled her in for a kiss on the lips. They'd shared that kiss for at least 15 seconds, before they pulled away from one another. "Good night." He said heading for the stables, where he now stayed, instead of asking Elsa for a room in the castle.
Anna's face became completely blank, because on the inside, she now felt amazing for sharing a kiss with the mountain man she was in love with.
The princess sighed happily, and made her way into the castle, slightly giggling.
Inside the castle, after changing into a bright green pajama gown, Anna went into her room, where Olaf was looking outside the windows, into the night sky. He looked to Anna, who had been smiling without hesitation. "You look really happy," said the snowman.
"There's no denying it, Olaf. I am without a doubt, in love with Kristoff."
"Wow. What happened?"
Anna walked up to her snowman friend. "We went out for a romantic dinner, and it was such a great night. We talked about both our lives, and when he and I got home, we shared a kiss." She grabbed Olaf by his stick arms and spun him around saying. "Best kiss and best night of my life."
Anna then walked over and jumped onto her bed, laying on her back with her eyes closed.
She just laid there in happiness, and then Olaf said, "Okay, why is there a pink light in here."
Anna sighed even more happily. "It's the pink light shining brightly in my heart, Olaf. I'm in love." She said without opening her eyes.
"No. I mean there's literally a pink light glowing in here."
Anna finally opened her eyes, and she saw Olaf was right; Her whole room was flooded with a bright pink light, coming from a small hole right above her bed.
Then from that hole, a small pink object flew out, and floated down towards Anna.
After it did so, a female voice spoke, "Princess Anna of Earth, you have tremendous love in your heart."
The small object came right up in front of her face and it was revealed as a pink ring, with a star shaped symbol on it.
"This almost looks like Elsa's ring," she said taking it in the palm of her hand.
Down in the stables, Kristoff was laying in the hay, with his loyal reindeer, Sven.
Kristoff laid back and sighed happily. "I have a good feeling about this one, Sven. I think she might be the one. What do you think?"
"I think you're doing great with her," Kristoff said in the voice he used for Sven. "Don't give her up. I like her a lot."
"I know you do, buddy," the mountain man said in his own voice. "I'm gonna make things great for both me and her." Then he laid back and closed his eyes.
After he closed his eyes, a purple light shined in the entire stable area.
Sven nudged Kristoff, until he opened his eyes back up.
"What is it, buddy?" Kristoff asked, but he got his answer when he saw the whole stables flooded with purple light. The mountain man looked up and saw a small, purple glowing object floating down towards him. He took it in his hands and saw it was a purple ring with a strange symbol.
The symbol was a circle between two arrows; One pointed up, the other, down.
"This ring looks like the one that Elsa and that guy Eddie have. Where'd this even come from."
The following day, Eddie was flying to Arendelle in his Blue Lantern suit, because he'd gotten a call from Elsa, who'd told him she wanted to talk with him about a little matter.
As he was flying, he'd seen Arendelle in sight, and headed to the docks, where Elsa, Anna and Kristoff stood there, waiting for him.
He landed in front of them, then changed from his Blue Lantern uniform, to his original clothes; Today he wore a navy blue t-shirt with a white American flag on it, a pair of dark blue jeans, his usual white and gray tennis shoes and as always his white leather jacket. "Hi," Eddie greeted them. "You called wanting to discuss a small matter?"
"Yes," said Elsa. "It's something that just occurred last night."
"So, what would this little matter be?" Eddie asked again.
"Show him, Anna," Elsa turned to her sister.
Anna reached into the pocket of her bright green dress, and she pulled out what came to her last night and held it in front of Eddie.
Eddie gazed in shock at what the princess held in her hand. "You got a Star Sapphire power ring?"
"A Star what?" Anna asked confused.
"Star Sapphire," Elsa chimed in. "Star Sapphires are beings of love, who like Eddie and I have power rings. But unlike ours, their rings hold a pink energy of love."
"So now I have a power like you both do?" Anna asked now excited all of a sudden.
"Well, yes," Eddie spoke up. "But having these powers isn't all fun and games."
"He's right, Anna. Having this power is a great honor, and a big responsibility."
"If you choose to accept this, Anna, remember these words: 'With great power, comes great responsibility.'"
"I won't forget, thank you. So how do these rings work anyway?"
"Maybe we should go back to the castle and discuss this," Elsa suggested.
"Good idea. Let's go," Eddie agreed and the 4 all walked off, making their way back to the castle.
At the castle library, Elsa and Eddie had explained to Anna all the powers and abilities of a Lantern power ring.
"So from what we've observed with all these different colors of Lantern rings, they all have similar powers." Eddie explained. "They allow you to breathe in space, or in toxic areas. They have a power that lets you use their energies to create almost anything you see in your mind. I'm pretty sure these rings can change size to make the perfect fit for its bearer's finger, because a lot of these aliens have big limbs. Uh, they allow you the ability to fly, which I like a lot, because all my life as a kid, I'd always wanted to fly. They have translators, so you can understand the language of aliens out there, otherwise we'd probably have no idea what any of them were saying."
"So I've already seen the colors of red, blue and green with these powers, and now I have the powers of a pink. Are there any more colors?" Anna asked curiously.
Elsa and Eddie looked at one another, and both remembered what the Guardians of Oa had said.
"As a matter of fact there are," Elsa responded. "The Guardians of Oa explained to us that when they got their personal powers back, they gained knowledge of more Corps."
"Right. Apart from what we've already seen, there's also orange, powered by greed. I found that out a couple weeks ago when I was roaming the Frontier. Um, there's yellow powered by fear, which Sinestro tried to harness for his own, diabolical ways. When we were out with him, we found a Black Corps, who's rings run on death. Along with those, there's also white, powered by life, and indigo by compassion. Altogether that's 9 Corps."
"Hang on a second," Kristoff interrupted. "Did you say indigo, as in a color of purple?"
"Yes, why?" Eddie asked.
Kristoff stood up and from his pocket, he pulled out a purple ring.
Elsa, Anna and Eddie all eyed it.
"You have one too, Kristoff?" Anna said eyeing the ring closely.
"Yeah, after our date it came to me last night. Where do these Purple Lanterns even live?"
"We don't know," Elsa answered.
"Yeah. The Guardians never revealed the locations of any of these Corps. But maybe we can ask them, and maybe even gain more knowledge of these different colors of Lanterns."
"It's worth a try. I mean they do trust you now," Elsa chimed in.
"Then let's head to Oa," Eddie said standing up and changing into his Blue Lantern suit.
"Oh, I thought you'd like to see, I made a few changes to my suit," Elsa said walking up to Eddie.
"Really? Show me."
Elsa made a green aura surround her, and it turned her whole dress and heels green, and on her chest she wore the Green Lantern logo.
Eddie eyed her for she looked amazing in her new Green Lantern dress. "You look great."
"Thank you."
"I've gotta try that," Anna said pulling out her pink ring.
"Well, then let her rip," said Eddie.
Anna put the ring on the middle finger of her right hand, then a pink aura shined on her body, turning her whole dress pink. As the light faded, she now wore her hair in a bun behind her head, her dress had the Star Sapphire symbol on the chest, and she wore long gloves that went past her elbows and high heeled boots.
After she was changed, they all looked towards Kristoff, who was still just holding his ring in the palm of his hand.
"Well, aren't you gonna put it on?" Eddie asked him.
"I don't know. I'm not even sure if I wanna be one of these Lanterns or not. Maybe we should try and find the leaders so I can talk to them about it."
"Alright, let's go consult the Guardians," Eddie said pointing his ring at Kristoff and creating a sphere around him.
"So how do I fly?" Anna asked.
"Concentrate and believe in it with all your heart, and it'll lift you into the air," Elsa answered her sister.
"Okay," Anna said standing still and she began to concentrate really hard. In moments she was lifted from her feet and into the air. "I did it!" Anna exclaimed happily and laughing in joy.
"Great job," Elsa complimented. "Let's go to Oa."
And she, Anna and Eddie all flew off outside a nearby window and flew up into the skies.
On the planet Oa, Elsa, Eddie, Anna and Kristoff all made their way to the Guardians' citadel.
The four all entered the chamber, where the Guardians all stood in their places.
"General," Appa spoke. "What is the purpose of this visit?"
Eddie stepped in front of the other three and up towards Appa. "There's something I cam to talk with you, the Guardians about. About two months ago, when we were in Frontier Space with Sinestro, you told us when you got your powers back, you'd gained knowledge of more Lantern colors."
The Guardians all looked at one-another, then back down to Eddie.
"What is it you're asking of, General?" Appa asked.
"Well, just last night, Elsa's sister here received a power ring from the Star Sapphires, and at the same time, her boyfriend got a ring from the Indigo ones. What I'd like to know is, what you know and learned when you gained this knowledge of these other Lanterns."
"Very well. As we gained our once banished powers back, we had gained much knowledge on what is known as the Emotional Spectrum."
"The Emotional Spectrum?" Eddie said confused.
"Yes. The Emotional Spectrum is a combination of all the powerful energies that step from emotion itself. As we explained, there is red fueled by hatred, orange powered by avarice, yellow by fear, green from willpower, blue by hope, indigo by compassion, violet from love, black by death and white by life."
"The only ones I've yet to see are white, and up until today, indigo. Continue."
"Well, as we gained back our powers, we gained knowledge of how these powers came to be. Millions of years ago, when we'd had an unfortunate situation with our Manhunters, who due to faulty programming, began to wipe out any being who felt emotion. They destroyed entire sectors in the Frontier, forming what is known as the Forgotten Zone. On the planet Ysmault, Atrocitus had gathered the blood of his fallen people, which held a powerful red energy of rage. He swore revenge and set to destroy us, for our Manhunters had wiped out many of his people and destroyed his home world."
"So that's where it came from. Sorry I keep interrupting. Go on."
"After gaining his new powers, Atrocitus began to grow his Corps by conquering other sectors in the Frontier, but there was one he could not conquer: The planet Ocarra, where a race of conquerors had harnessed the orange energy of avarice, and they'd fought Atrocitus to a standstill."
Then Sayd took over. "Then there is the yellow energy of fear. A power we were long familiar with, but swore to never use, for its power was too great and uncontrollable. But one Guardian tried to defy this rule."
"I know the story of that one," Eddie interfered once more, "Sinestro explained it to Elsa and I. The Guardian who defied that order wanted to prove to you all the yellow light could be mastered, and he succeeded. But in that process he became Parallax."
"So you do understand. Yes, that is correct," Appa intervened. "And then there is the color of blue. The ring of hope, in which you wear. The story behind it goes that the Guardian who controls your Corps, Ganthet had beliefs that willpower was not strong enough, and he began experimenting with the light of hope. But a short time ago, we learned he'd been doing this without council approval, and he'd been banished from the Oa."
"But when you did, he didn't give up hope. He formed his own Corps," Eddie stated.
"Yes, and for the indigo power of compassion, there is a Corps, somewhere far out in the Frontier, there is a tribe of compassionate beings, who harness the light of the very emotion, compassion. Though we do not know much of these beings, we believe they can tell you more, for we do have their coordinates."
"I would be much obliged, but first I'd like to hear the rest of this," Eddie said.
"Unfortunately we lack full information on both the Black and White Lantern Corps. But the Violet Corps, or as you know them the Star Sapphires, the Zamarons were once of one race with we the Guardians. But out in Frontier Space, their leader, Queen Aga'po and her kind had created a power battery of their own, harnessing the violet light of love. But when we'd seen how powerful and what seemed like something too powerful for even us Guardians, we had tried to stop them from forging this power battery. But they went into hiding beyond our reach in the Frontier, on their home planet of Zamaron. They set to spread love to all 3600 sectors, with their power rings of love."
"How exactly did you receive this knowledge, when you gained back your powers?" Eddie asked curiously.
"In order to regain our locked away powers, we the Guardians had to take a risk we swore never to do, and perform a forbidden ritual. Within that ritual, as we re-mastered our old powers, it came with great knowledge. And that knowledge was these powerful energies, that emitted from emotion, like green from willpower." Appa explained.
"Well I guess that's all I need to know. And if you do have the them, I'd like the coordinates to the location of these Indigo Lanterns."
"As you wish," Appa said and a set of holographic numbers, written in an alien language appeared on the center of the room.
Eddie raised his ring, translated the number so he could understand them, then put them in his ring. "Got them. Thank you, Guardians. You've been a great help. We'll be going now."
Good luck with what it is you hope to find," Appa said as the four humans left their chamber.
The four of them all flew from Oa's atmosphere and into space, with Elsa carrying Kristoff inside a sphere.
"All right," Eddie said. "I put those coordinates in my ring. So I think by opening a wormhole I can transport us there. Ready?"
"Yes," Elsa and Anna both said in unison.
Eddie shot a blast from his ring, and a wormhole opened up, which they all flew into.
All right. That's it for this one. Sorry for the lack of info on the Black and White Lanterns, but some of what I read online didn't really make sense, and I'm not big on history with the Emotional Spectrum or any of that, I just typed up what I remember reading online. Anyhow I hope you liked this one, now that Anna and Kristoff have power rings too. Next time they'll find the Indigo tribe as it's called, and Eddie will also learn the truth of something else. Know what I mean. If not, you'll find out next time. Please read, review and enjoy.
