quick gimme a funny

Koyuki Himekawa, your average middle schooler. Obsessed with Magical Girls and rumors. She'd been playing Magical Girl Raising Project nonstop since release. And today was no exception.

"Koyuki! Dinner's ready!" Her mother called from downstairs. She went to log off the game, but as her finger was about to hit the confirm button, Fav, the game's mascot, appeared.

"Congrats! pon!"

"An event!?" Koyuki said. "Great, right when dinner's ready."

"Hello there! I'm the mascot of this game, Fav!"

"Yeah, I know that part already..."

"You've been selected to become a real Magical Girl!"

"Huh? Strange, I didn't know this game had flash events."

"It doesn't, pon. Believe it or not, I've actually been keeping a rather close eye on you ever since you started playing, pon."

"Huh!? It responded?"

"Koyuki Himekawa, by watching you, I have determined that your behavior, personality and intellect are all suitable characteristics for becoming a real-life Magical Girl, pon!"

An icon appeared on Koyuki's phone screen. 'Become a Magical Girl now.' It read. 'Tap.'

"Haven't you been dreaming of this opportunity, pon?"

'I could seriously become... A Magical Girl?' Koyuki wondered, then tapped the screen.

Sonic had been in N-City for only a few hours, yet he could just feel a strange energy in the air. And it just spiked as the sun started to set. At first, Sonic thought it could've been the Chaos Emeralds. But he'd been using them for so long that their energies felt familiar, almost welcoming. Maybe it was Eggman getting a hold of some new cosmic entity to try (and inevitably fail) taking over the world with? No, those always felt cold and hollow.

This constant energy flow, feeling unfamiliar, yet warm and friendly, like someone Sonic would get along with and just hadn't met yet. But, there was only one way to find out more. Find the source of the energy.

And the best way to do that was his favorite way: Rolling around at the speed of sound. Blasting off, Sonic grabbed onto the wall of a nearby building and ran across the wall so he wasn't in the way of the unsuspecting humans going about their daily routine. Jumping across streets and over entire blocks, laughing like a madhog. Swinging off poles to build more speed, grinding across bridge railings. Nothing could slow Sonic down.

Except when something did slow him down.

Running past a truck at a speed far faster than anything recorded by humans before but far from his top speed (pun entirely intended) Sonic was on a roll. Until the truck was nudged out from where it was stuck, striking Sonic in the side with enough force to send him tumbling down the road a bit. Sitting up and dusting himself off, Sonic looked around for whatever caused the truck to move, and eyed a girl with pale pink hair and a white schoolgirl uniform. Sonic wouldn't have paid it any mind until the girl jumped from the ground to a rooftop and started getting away.

That, and that strange energy seemed to be coming from her. Thankfully for Sonic, there were only a few things that had a chance of beating the fastest thing alive in a footrace, and this girl was not one of them.

Taking off again, Sonic pursued this girl.

Snow White wasn't aware of anything on the other side of the truck she pushed. She simply did her job of helping people and carried on with her day. So when what looked like a blue hedgehog came speeding up next to her, effortlessly keeping pace as she hopped from rooftop to rooftop, she couldn't help but be curious.

"Hey, kid! I just wanna talk. That's all." The hedgehog said. "I promise, this won't take long, I hate sitting still."

Both parties skidded a few feet when stopping, and Snow White stared into the big green eyes of the hedgehog.

"Uh, okay..."

"It's not much. I just wanna know who and what you are. Once I got that, I'll be on my way and you'll never see me again."

"I could ask the same to you." Snow White said, looking the hedgehog up and down.

"Starting introductions already? Alright. I'm Sonic. Sonic the hedgehog!"

"M- My name is Snow White, a- and I'm a Magical Girl."

Sonic's eyes narrowed in confusion for a moment. "Okay. So that's why there's this weird feeling in the air like something's up with this town. Anyway, I got what I wanted, so I'll be off." Sonic said, crouching down slightly.

"W- Wait!" Snow White called, causing Sonic to turn his head to face her. "I have another question."

"Ask away."

"How can you see me?"

Sonic gave a small laugh as he stood up straight again. "I get my eyes look weird by human standards, but they work just fine."

"That's not what I mean." Snow White sighed. "A part of being a Magical Girl is that nobody can see us unless we want them to."

"Huh." Sonic shrugged. "I didn't know that. I'm just finding about this stuff right now."

"Snow White?" Fav suddenly asked, and Snow White noticed Sonic's ear twitching. "Who are you talking to, pon?"

"Kid? What's that?"

Snow White, figuring that it was useless to hide Fav from the hedgehog. Pulling out her egg-shaped Magical Phone, she barely caught Sonic's scowl before Fav appeared.

"Woah, pon." Fav said "I've never seen anything like you before, pon."

"Same here."

Although, judging by Fav's tone of voice, Snow White could tell Fav might not entirely be telling the truth.

"There's apparently more of us in the city." Snow White explained. "Although I haven't met them yet."

"Well, why don't you? I can arrange a meeting, pon."

"W- Well, is there like, a clubhouse or something?"

"No, but there is an online chatroom, pon."

Snow White looked to Sonic. "Well?"

"Sure. Knowing who you all are might make my stay a bit less boring."

Turning to her Magical Phone again, Snow White entered the Chatroom.
