A/N: Listen. I am going to ride this marichat high from Glaciator 2.0 as much as I possibly can. I'm gonna milk it all out like a starving cat who doesn't give a shit about her lactose intolerance. You cannot stop me. I know for a fact that Ephemeral will wreck me one way or another once it airs and I certainly predict that it will bring out the angst monster within me.
So enjoy this fluffy, sugary, cavity-inducing drabble while you can ,':D

And there is you
And there is me,"

Marinette didn't get a chance to take another breath, let alone speak as her Chaton brought her hands to his supple lips, beautiful, emerald greens gleaming under the wild, tousled fringe and his claws just so gentle with her skin.
"You're insanely smart," He murmured smoothly on one of her knuckles, lips brushing the appendage until he pressed a sweet, sweet kiss. Her heart was now ricocheting within her chest and her blood roared with electricity. "You're absolutely talented," He kissed another one of her knuckles and Marinette could have sworn that her legs have turned to jelly.
"You're incredibly selfless and kind," He kissed another one and another and then continued. "And not to mention beautiful, with or without the mask..." He placed a final, sound peck on the back of her hardworking hands before bringing both extremities to his chest, her burning fingers feeling the racing of his beating heart and her cheeks glowing even brighter.
"Who else would be My Lady, if not you, Marinette?" Lastly, he placed a tender kiss on her forehead, his touch searing upon her sensitive skin and her lashes fluttered shut from the overwhelming emotions that possessed her body.
He never ceased to make her fall in love with him even more than she already was.
And this time, it was no exception.
"If you keep saying such nice things to me, Minou, you'll make me cry," Though her eyes watered with delight, she couldn't help but match the devoting smile that her partner wore and if it was physically possible, she would have fallen deep into his gorgeous, dedicated emeralds many, many moons ago.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. We can't have that happening, ma Princesse. If you cry then I'll cry and unlike you, I'm such an ugly crier." The chuckling hero was met with a light punch on his shoulder which he then responded back by nudging her nose with his. "Come on, you know it's true. You make everything a piece of art that it should be hung at le musée du Louvre..."
She didn't get to even retort back, Marinette's words dying in her throat from the way her partner's eyes darkened in the most breathtaking way possible.
"Although, now that I think about it...even if it were possible for you to be an exhibit...I wouldn't want that at all..." He towered over Marinette on her bed which they were sitting on, the hero's face angled down towards hers and his golden lashes shadowing his eyes. The girl almost heaved at the proximity, feeling herself lower back to the mattress until her head met her pillow and fanned out her inky tresses.
"...Why?" She asked, voice barely audible and her heart skyrocketing when the teen straddled her and brought his face close to hers anew with that everlasting, adoring gaze. His long, clawed fingers trailed their way to her wrists and brought them against either side of her head whilst his smile switched to his iconic, Cheshire smirk.
"Why?" He parroted, brushing his nose against her pulse and then delivering a hot, open-mouthed kiss. The melody that was her gasps and begging whimpers were like music to his ears. Noir met her gaze once more with his bold intentions as clear as water within his expression.
"Because I don't want anyone else seeing you like this."
.
And then, he pounced.

A/N: ...
Well, looks like
I-want-to-take-Marinette-to-bed-Drien has made a comeback without me intending so...again. Lol. Usually, the reason why I'm such a huge ass marichat slut is because I love the 'two, stupid clowns' dynamic they have but then again, even I like to indulge in the stereotype that is bathing shamelessly in sin and passion.
Lemme know your thoughts in the comments!
