CHAPTER 4: PADIOKA CITY

It was supposed to be a peaceful day like any other: She listened to the rustle of the leaves as she hung the laundry, the sound of the nearby stream trickling her body like a massage to her spirit, and the songs of the birds echoing around her, unaware that this normalcy will be the last of its kind.

Mito was inside her house when it changed. It was a humble home isolated from the rest, though she could still see the Padioka Palace, as did most people several miles away. She hummed the lullaby that had lulled her to sleep in her youth, and turned her head to the sleeping child on the couch.

Gon was not even three. The beautiful niece given to her just a few weeks after she was born, her mother unknown, but her father—given her wide, curious eyes, and intrinsic brightness—no doubt, was Ging.

Indeed, she had a peaceful life in the woods.

But it all changed when the door opened abruptly—revealing the cousin she hadn't seen in years, the man who just left his daughter to her…

Only to order them to evacuate.

And they did. And they went to a surreal country called Antikoba.

What she had seen was incredibly different from the country she grew up in: the houses had stone roofs instead of thatch and wood, the houses felt like a part of the ground instead of above it, and the people wore odd clothes with odd designs and patterns.

Mito and her mother, with Gon still sleeping soundly on her arms, stood in front of a house of brick and mortar. Ging knocked once, and a girl wearing what Mito surmised as a dog costume appeared. "Ging!"

"Cheadle." He called and Mito stared at them in alteration. She wondered if she was Gon's mother. Ging, probably sensing her assumptions, sighed and introduced to woman to them. "This is Cheadle Yorkshire, she is one of the country's trusted ministers" He said. "No one would suspect."

"No one would suspect what, Ging?" Cheadle asked suspiciously and Ging only smiled at her humbly.

"Please lend them a place to stay while I make arrangements." He said, and without waiting for an answer—"…that I shall start doing now."

"What the—oi! GING!"

And he disappeared.

A few hours after he left them there, Mito and Cheadle were washing dishes together. Grandma and Gon were sleeping soundly in the guest bedroom, and Mito decided to make up for Ging's selfishness by helping their host out. "What are you in-charge of Cheadle?" She asked as she wiped the plate.

"Defense."

"Eh?"

The girl smiled. "I get that a lot." She said. "But I just have a sense with these things. I'm nicknamed the dog, even."

So that explained the odd attire. "I see… that's very interesting." Mito said, and the other girl just smiled sheepishly.

"Thanks, I suppose." A pause. "You are very different to Ging."

Mito smiled. "Thank you."

It had been days and Ging still hadn't shown up. Mito was already trying to think of another apology for Ging, who had a knack for throwing burdens around. However, that day, they had an unexpected visitor. Mito was cleaning up the kitchen, then, and she peeked to see who it was.

He was wearing the formal clothing of the country. He was very handsome, Mito mused, and had an odd charm with him. Her instincts, however, told her that he was a lot more than he appeared. In any case, it didn't take long for Cheadle to go to the kitchen to (begrudgingly) bring some tea.

"Who is he?"

"He's Pariston, he's another minister." The other girl said with a shrug. "He's here to discuss some political things with me." The female minister then looked at Mito, who blinked for a few seconds before absorbing the request.

"Oh!" She said and looked around. "I'll go ask Gon and mother if we can go shopping then?" Cheadle gestured for the affirmative, but before she could open her mouth to say anything—

"My… what do we have here?" They turned towards the voice and found Pariston resting his weight on the door jamb. He eyed Mito for a while before detaching himself from the door and walking to her, diplomatically extending his hand. She took it, thinking he was going to shake hands with her.

Instead, he kissed it.

To her chagrin, she blushed.

"You must be that Boar's cousin!" He said gleefully. "So nice to meet you, my lady!"

"…ah." She said and cleared her throat. She hoped that her blush wasn't obvious, but that smile on his face told her otherwise. How sly, she thought, and took off her hand. Instead, Mito looked at Cheadle. "Boar?"

"Ging."

"Oh." She said, not really surprised, and looked at the blonde. She looked at him coldly. "Well, we'll be going now."

"Ah~ See you soon!"

And that 'soon' was a lot sooner than she imagined. Since then, Pariston visited Cheadle's house too often. At first, Mito thought that perhaps some trouble in the country was happening. But when she asked Cheadle she said there was no such thing.

"I find it annoying really." She said. "He's eating your precious cookies and tea for no good reason other than to… freeload!"

Mito chuckled at her reaction. "Perhaps he just wanted to see a friend?"

"Hell he does." But then, staring at her, Cheadle went silent. Mito blinked.

"What is it?"

"Perhaps…can you help me shop for supplies?" She said. "I'll lend you some money."

"Eh?" Mito asked, but didn't really ask any more questions. She, too, was just a freeloader after all. But later that night, Cheadle explained. It turned out that, well, Pariston was going to Cheadle's house for Mito's cookies. Cheadle seemed to be offended in her stead.

"That sly rat!" The minister yelled while Mito laughed it off. "I don't mind though." She said. "Perhaps I could sell them to him. That way we can escape from our status as freeloaders."

"You don't need to do that, Mito." Cheadle smiled. "Ging asked me to take care of you. I don't really like listening to him, but I'll do what I can." Mito hugged in gratitude and then in good night, but before she left the living room, Cheadle called her name—suddenly looking at her seriously.

"Don't let your guard down with him." She said. "He'd do anything to relieve his boredom."

But then Pariston came when Cheadle was on a mission.

It was only two days after they found out he was going to the house for 'meetings' to freeload; (Mito wondered if he denied it.) She was cleaning the house and watching over Gon as she played with her new toys in the living area.

"Pariston-san!" She uttered, surprised, when she opened the door. Mito tilted her head. Didn't he know Cheadle was outside the walls? "What are you doing here?"

"I'm just visiting." He said, with that trademark smile of his, and she let him in. She led him to the living area where Gon was twirling around—making the most of the fact she was now an expert in walking around.

"Are you here to buy some of my cookies?"

It was then that Pariston gave out a chuckle. A genuine one, and Mito almost blushed. Almost. "I bet Cheadle told you that." He said. "As smart as she is, she can be much too dense at certain things."

"Pardon?"

"Your cookies are great! But I'm a prince, Mito-san. I'm sure I can hire even more qualified bakers."

Well, that was annoying.

And wait.

A prince?

Pariston was a prince?

"No offense." He said, and smiled. Hell he didn't, Mito thought, but returned a fake smile nevertheless. "But I came for you."

Mito's smile broke at this. "Eh?" But before she got any ideas, she recalled Cheadle's words: "Do not let your guard down."

And Mito shan't.

"Sa… no need to be so guarded with me." Pariston said, smiling, apparently hearing her thoughts. But the blonde turned his head to look at Gon, and Mito's eyebrows rise at the momentary show of warmth in the man's eyes. "I would like to see the woman who is raising the Boar's child."

Pariston stood up and sat with his knees on the floor, not too far from the playing Gon. Gon—after successfully shooting a ball in her toy hoop—then turned her head to him and tilted her head under his stare.

"Who he?" She asked, almost raising her hand to suck her thumb. But then she remembered she wasn't supposed to anymore so she put her hands behind her. "Who he?" She repeated, and this time a little firmer.

Pariston and Mito smiled, and the blonde turned to look at Mito. "May I?" He asked and Mito nodded, admittedly, feeling a little reluctant.

In any case, Pariston extended his hand gesturing for Gon to go to him. "Come to uncle Pariston, Gon." The two-year-old need not think and went by instinct—as she had always done—and went to the blonde man. He then raised Gon high up, and almost abruptly too, and Gon laughed at the unexpected ride.

Pariston got the hint and threw her up in the air. Gon was beaming, not even considering that the stranger might not catch her. She laughed, and squealed, and squeaked. Pariston even made an airplane out of her. And she liked it very much.

Mito watched them as Pariston lifted her up in ways she couldn't do anymore. She was too afraid to let her fall when she could still carry her, and now that she was a toddler, she didn't even have the physical strength anymore to do so.

She found herself walking to them. Pariston stopped and stared at her, as Gon started pulling his hair in an attempt to activate the ride again. "I can give you cookies for free if you play with Gon like that again."

He smiled. But this one, unlike the others, felt genuine. "Deal."

Cheadle was befuddled the following days, but generally didn't bother anymore. Too many state issues to problematize and frankly she wanted to punch Pariston for being too cool about it. Anyway, she just let the four to their own devices.

"Ah, Mito…I'll just go shop for some supplies." Mito's mother said, who only refused when she offered accompaniment. "No need, child. Go treat your guest."

Mito looked at the Guest who was carrying Gon and the back of his neck so that she could touch bird's nest on the window head. For a moment she thought Pariston was teaching her how to interrupt with nature but that wasn't the case. He wasn't teaching her anything good either.

He was pretty much just watching what Gon will do.

And what Gon did was give the chicks some crackers.

"Saa… I didn't even know she had a cracker." Pariston said when he noticed Mito watching. "She just said she wanted to see them." He said. "How interesting."

Mito shook her head and mused at how true Cheadle's words were, especially with Pariston's attempt to kill boredom. Odd, really, he had a lot of duties for the country but he was killing time in the small house filled with refugees.

At least he was better than the girl's own father.

Then Pariston turned to look at her, looking a bit startled, and Mito flushed as she realized she said the words out-loud. "Ah." He said. "He's probably busy with making a number of arrangements." He shrugged. "He's probably catching up with her, too." He paused, and her heart stopped with his words.

"Gon's…Gon's mother?" She did not know who Gon's mother was, still, but she wasn't ready to see her yet.

"They haven't seen each other for a while, after all."

Mito cleared her throat and decided to steer away from the topic. "Well what I said was true. The time you spent with Gon the past few days was more than Ging ever gave." She mumbled before looking at him. "And don't tell me it's an excuse to see me." Mito rebutted him before he said it again. At this, Pariston smiled.

"Well, she is my niece."

.

.

Eh?

"Your niece?"

"Yes, my sister's child."

Yes I know what that meant, she wanted to say but judging by the man's sly smile he was having fun. "Are you serious?"

"One can't really joke about these things here, Mito-san."

It took her a while to finally able to utter a complete word out, and her eyes twitched at the effort. "So… you're saying my Gon's a… a princess?"

"I'm not really sure why you still don't know." He smiled that amused smile of his and picked up the girl at hand, who placed a peck on his head. "She looks like one, yes?"

"Shoot! Shoot!" The girl exclaimed, raising her hand to tell him she wanted to play hoopball.

And that the two did, imaginary flowers floating around them as they did so.

It was a warm sight, though Mito couldn't help but worry for her niece.

She was far too free-spirited to be a princess.

ANTIKOBA, PRESENT TIME

BAM!

CLASH!

BOOM!

Continuous waves of clashing forces created unusual winds in the surrounding vicinity. The trees shook as if a storm came, and the birds and animals fled for their safety.

"The Zoldycks have a few sons, don't they?" Netero uttered after landing a blow on Ging's stomach, who quickly shifted his center and managed to land on all fours. "Aren't they close to Gon's age?"

Ging instantaneously put force on a leg to propel himself towards his opponent, using his elbow to attack though was blocked by the king's leg. He turned mid-air and his feet hit the old man's head—who barely blocked the hit with his palm, though the force was enough to make him fly a few meters away.

"She'll be there to save a country, not to get married senile old man!"

"Well, that Kurapika lad—"

"She won't get married damn it!"

At this Netero laughed, just before instantaneously appearing in front of Ging, to land a rather strong vertical kick on the head, causing the soil below to buckle and create a crater a few meters in diameter.

He still remembered the draught that happened when Celeste got pregnant with Gon. He could imagine what would've happened if they entered holy matrimony. Certain towns, in fact, were still suffering from it.

Lecherous jerk.

It didn't matter that it never actually happened again—they only went so far as hand-holding since then, Netero sounded 'indecency!' the moment there were a meter from each other. It didn't matter that Ging was the forerunner in fixing the disaster-stricken areas either—Netero was still very very annoyed with him.

"No royal family wouldn't ask for her hand if her existence is made known." Netero said, blocking a punch that destroyed the rock behind him right after.

Ging arrogantly huffed and placed his hands on his hips, proud. "Well, she is the daughter of a Nen priestess and the most powerful nen user in the land."

"You're a priestess?"

Ging rolled his eyes, before jumping for an attack. It was a careless one, and Netero simply moved to avoid it. Mid-air, Ging mumbled, "I'd like it if she didn't follow her mother's footsteps, but it doesn't mean anyone's deserving of my little girl."

A sharp force escaped the old man and Ging barely avoided a kick that punched a crater beneath his feet and—realizing he hit a nerve—Immediately adding: "not that I thought myself worthy of Celeste, of course!" Landing a several yards away from the annoyed king.

Still, Ging was calm under the man's frown. He smiled.

"But sometimes we just take a leap of faith that we are enough for the ones we love."

Later that night, Kurapika opened his eyes to look at the vaulted ceiling. It was even more intricate than the hallways, panels painted with beautiful frescoes that echoed a portion of the country's history. His room showed the story of the first priestess, Valeria, born as a miracle to hundred year-old peasants.

His thoughts inevitably turn to the current priestess, Princess Celeste, and her words just before leaving them earlier that day. She and Gon had gone for a long walk in her favorite garden, and asked for him when they returned. She took him to the nearby atrium and they sat on the bench under the harmony plum tree.

"You must've been surprised that I asked you to speak with me alone."

He nodded, unsure of what it was about. "I worry for Gon. This mission… it feels dangerous." She said. "I had known the existence of this dark organization, they are as strong as a country." She paused. "Do not underestimate them."

"Yes, your holiness."

There was silence between them after that and Kurapika wondered if it was time he was dismissed. However, it was then that the priestess spoke. "I spoke with Gon," She said, sending him a meaningful stare. "She doesn't seem to mind taking over my duties."

His eyes widened, though he was quick to school his expression, unsure what brought about the personal topic at hand. Sensing this, the priestess smiled. "I was still undergoing my novitiate when I fell for Ging, only two years older than Gon was now."

She looked away then, her eyes looking at something far away, to where he could not see—a fond memory that brought happiness and pain. "We were young, but our feelings were true."

"But our union already caused my people so much suffering." She said, no doubt referring to the calamities that befell entire regions of their country. "It is no longer possible for us now, perhaps even when I retire as punishment."

"I don't want Gon to take over this duty because I didn't want her right to love freely taken away from her." Then she shifted her head to look at him, and Kurapika suddenly lost the ability to speak. "If she falls in love, she wouldn't want to become a priestess."

Silence enveloped them before she spoke again.

"If she were to fall for anyone…, I'd like it to be you."

He stood up several minutes later when he realized he wasn't going to fall asleep anytime soon, and decided to walk around until sleep approached him, instead finding Gon sitting on a balustrade along the hallway in front her room. She was staring at the full moon, a wistful expression on her face, and had her senses not been so sharpened, he'd have watched her for a little bit longer.

"Kurapika." She said, smiling, and patted the marble railing beside her. "Can't sleep?"

He nodded. "You spoke with your mother?"

"Mostly about the adventures we had since we left." She said, shrugging. "She looked wistful and regretful." Then she shifted her attention back to the dark skies, speaking after a moment of poignant silence. "Maybe I should become priestess, so she could retire and have adventures with Dad."

He stared at her silently, recalling the conversation he had with her mother. "I don't think she'd want that Gon."

At this, she blinked and stared at him. "That's right. She spoke with you after walking with me…" She said and turned her torso to face him. "What'd you talk about?"

Kurapika pondered on his words prior to saying anything. "She doesn't want you to become a priestess." He said. "And even if she retires, as punishment for what she had done, it is likely she will still be forbidden to give herself to anyone other than this World."

Her lips formed a thin line and she looked down, troubled expression occupying her usually cheerful face. "She is not dissatisfied with the life she led, Gon, don't worry." He gave a weak smile before patting her slumped shoulder. "Though she preferred it if you take a different path."

She nodded weakly before staring at him. "What else did you talk about?"

He blinked. "That's… it, really."

"You were all red though—" Her words cut when he suddenly turned to the interior of the palace and jumped off the balustrade. "Kurapika?"

"Sleep finally approached me." He just said without looking. "Goodnight Gon. We have a big day tomorrow, after all."

Kurapika knew he'd be staring at the frescoes for a while, after all.

The next day Ging, Gon, Kurapika, Hanzo and Kaito were now off to Padioka, with the rest of their crew, along with Ministers Cheadle and Pariston, seeing them off from the palace. As much as they wanted to go to the docks with them, they couldn't risk any more connections.

The group was now in the palace's least patrolled rampart, ready to jump down, away from the eyes of the civilians and servants. But as everybody leaving turned to jump after sweet farewells (and many many parental reminders to Gon), one pair of sharp dark-colored eyes stayed with those who would be left behind. They hardened at the fact that his important person was now standing shyly with his biggest rival.

Kaito sincerely did not want to leave Mito alone with that rat, but he didn't have a choice. He cared for the kids and Mito too much to let them go alone.

But he refused to go without doing anything.

He still remembered the faltered expression on Mito's face when the rat arrived an hour prior to see them off.

"Mito." He called, almost unconsciously, and the next thing she knew he was already a mere meter away.

"W-What is it Kaito?"

Pariston narrowed his eyes, but Kaito ignored him and looked at Mito, touching her arm in the process. He pulled her in, and he felt the warmth of her lips on his. It was a brief kiss, but it was sweet. He would remember it forever.

Mito's eyes were wide, and a creeping shade of red adorned her face when she finally realized what he had done. Pariston's incessant smile was gone by then, and Kaito once again leaned down. But this time, to whisper his last words to her for a while.

"Don't fall for that rat, Mito." Think of me, instead.

And then he left.

They honestly thought they were heading to the docks. However, Ging seemed to have other ideas. Either that or he lost his sense of direction. They ended up in a large clearing in the middle of the forest. And they felt very lost.

"The dock's that way." Kaito said, pointing at the direction of the cave where they entered. "Surely, you don't expect to walk all the way there—considering how much of a rush you're in."

"Nope." Ging said, and he whistled once. And then twice, with the second a little louder.

A few seconds of awkward silence passed, everyone was waiting for something to happen. But then Gon whipped her head towards a direction in the sky, looking perplexed.

"What is it Gon?" Kurapika asked but she shook her head.

"I… don't know."

"…what?"

"I don't know what it is." She said. "But it's getting closer."

Ging nodded. "It's coming."

"Eh?"

And as if to answer everyone's question, a loud booming sound was suddenly heard. Everyone but the father-and-daughter pair raised their guards. The sound got louder, and they realized it was the sound of flapping. Flapping of something very very huge.

And true enough, a giant reptilian creature with wings spanning twice its size (which was already 20 meters wide at least, and even larger in length and height) appeared, landing gracefully at the clearing before them. It roared, but not to scare. It roared to announce its presence.

"What the heck—is that a—" Hanzo gulped. "A dragon?!" The ninja never saw an Eastern dragon in his life, and he absolutely did not expect to see a Western one-complete with its large wings, abominable feet, and very very sharp claws.

Kaito and Kurapika stared in disbelief and awe, Gon was twinkling with excitement, and Ging nodded nonchalantly. " Yep. Although… I had to call the child. Her mother's much too large."

"Ehhhhhhh!?"

(A few hours later)

It was just a little before dawn when they arrived. It was an amazing trip, and that was an understatement. They were still travelling by sea, but this time it was made of clouds. However, one had to admit the feeling of wind against your face was better several thousand meters above the sky.

And then there was the sunrise. Sunrise is beautiful as it was, but from the sky? It was indescribable.

The group was so immersed in the sight that they realized they passed their destination only after the sun rose fully. It took them an extra 5 minute travel time to reach the top of Padioka.

"We're here." Ging announced and stood up. Everyone else followed him reluctantly. Reluctantly because one just don't stand up on dragons hovering high up in the clouds. But in the end, most of them knew what to do.

"We're just at the height where no one would see him." Ging said and then patted the dragon. "Shall we?"

They nodded. Sans Hanzo. He had no idea that Ging just made an instruction.

One by one, the members thank the dragon and freaking jumped. First were Gon and Kurapika, followed by Kaito. Hanzo was really just dumbstruck and stared at Ging incredulously. "Seriously?"

"Yep." Ging grinned and patted his back, pushing the ninja off the dragon.

Meanwhile, Kurapika and Gon were down farthest, with the blonde looking away Gon's fluttering skirt, being the gentleman that he was. The red on his cheeks was very visible though, despite him somewhat distracted by the air pressure.

At the right altitude, determined by instincts, the two concentrated their auras on their feet and let it burst periodically to buffer their fall. They heard Kaito and Ging doing the same a few seconds later. However…

"KYAAAAAAAAAA!"

It was Hanzo. They looked at each other, and sweat-dropped. Hanzo couldn't use Nen yet.

"KYAAAAAAAAAA!"

"O-Oi! Someone get him!"

"On it!" Gon yelled and she concentrated more aura in her feet for a stronger burst of air to push her body laterally. She put in more and more power and she started getting even more nervous when they were merely a few hundred meters above the ground. Hanzo was quite heavy, and he was far from her so there was a huge probability she wouldn't be able to catch up to him in time, despite her power and petite frame.

But an instant later her ears caught a distinct sound of a man-sized bird (or bat. Probably the latter) approaching. And it was approaching Hanzo. Her eyes widened. Things just got worse, didn't it?

But then, when she thought she was too late to save Hanzo—

She realized that the bat-like thing ended up to be doing it for her.

Striking blue orbs were unusually wide. It gleamed of a wonderful mix of surprise, awe, and… hope. He realized soon that he was standing, frozen, in contrast to his previous position: lazily sitting on his couch and staring blankly out the window.

Killua couldn't remove the image of a dragon out of his head. He didn't want to, not really, and it certainly kicked some inspiration for an escape plan. A rare smirk of excitement adorned his beautiful pale face.

He looked at the sky and, in his head, calculated a desired angle. He nodded.

Escape?

It was worth a try.

"W-What are you?" Hanzo asked, slightly trembling, but he had the sense to trust the right people so he wasn't even close to being hostile. "Are you going to eat me?" He asked anyway.

"I'm a vegetarian."

Hanzo squeaked and whipped his head towards his team (who were approaching at the time) and rudely pointed at the thing that rescued him. "IT TALKED!"

"Well you asked." It shrugged. "Or did you prefer I don't answer your question?"

"I didn't expect you to talk." Hanzo stood up and reasoned like an idiot, as he stood up after being dropped off to the ground. "As a ninja, I expected spiritual mumbo-jumbo!"

The thing just stared at him with its slit like eyes and, once again, shrugged. It, too, pointed at Hanzo and stared at the approaching people, particularly to Ging. "Do you always have retards as your friends?"

"Yes."

"Hey!"

Ging ignored him and stood beside the thing that was at least twice his height. "Here's an old friend, Kiriko." He looked over at all of them. "You'll be staying at his house in the Capital city as you need to." "I also took care of whatever documents you need. Including what you don't need so there wouldn't be any links to me.

"Oh, and from here on in, you will be his distant relatives."

Gon tilted her head. "I don't think Kiriko-san and any of us look alike…"

"Ah." Kiriko uttered. "No problem."

And he transformed into a human.

.

They sure were seeing a lot of weird things that day.

CITY PROPER

"Oh, yeah…" Gon asked as they walked to the city, as if wanting to ask the question for a while but kept forgetting about it. "How long are we going to stay?"

Kurapika nodded. "And what do we have to do? You should explain it to us here, yes?" After all, more ears would be in the city than where they were. In fact, he had been waiting for instructions ever since they got into the dragon. Ging, however, entered a daze then and he knew not to bother him.

It was then that Ging paused his step and sighed. "I will leave you with one set of instructions: Get into the palace, earn the royals' trust, and save them."

"You make it sound simple."

Kaito could not help but agree. "And this seriousness doesn't suit you."

Ging laughed at that. "Right. It'll never happen again." And then he adopted the serious expression he wore a few seconds prior. "But do listen to my one important request."

Everyone smiled at him. There was no need to answer. But then after a little while of visualizing her new adventure, Gon uttered another one of her questions.

"How do we enter though?"

Ging stared at her, and then to the others. He looked like he was pondering something, and then he just shrugged. "You have to take the entrance exam."

.

.

"Huh?"

((Meanwhile))

Deep cerulean orbs marveled at its owner's creation.

It wasn't particularly difficult to make, the contraption he needed for his plan. He had all the materials he needed within his room anyway. Sure, when Gotoh did his hourly check, Killua would be sleeping. Depends on how long he'd last. Gotoh would eventually realize that he was gone.

Well, whatever.

He opened the bay window, immediately feeling the fresh and refreshing breeze, partly getting dazzled by the incoming light. He held his contraption and checked its durability by shaking it with force.

He looked around for incoming people. He never really knew how strict they were. He was expecting that he would have to jump cursing in panic along the way.

Fortunately, it had been years since his last attempt. And what was wrong with the prince opening his own window?

And then he jumped, feeling the pressure of wind and gravity against his skin. Killua smirked.

The trouble would be so worth it. He just knew it.
