Chapter 4: Ultraman Zero and Tomoe Hotaru
After having a small walk outside the Land Of Light , Seven meet up with his son, Zero in the house.
"Son, I'm back."
"Father?"
"I have something to say to you."
"Say it."
"It's actually I'm planning to ask whether you are going to pair up with a person, since King told me to ask you."
"What's the matter?"
"Actually , a few months ago , King met some people from another universe." Seven said.
"Who are they, father?"
"King Endymion and Neo Queen Serenity, Son."
"They are from the good side, right?"
"Well, Yes. King told us they were attacked, and he saved them."
Zero thought for a while, and he snapped his fingers.
"Father, that means we have to team with Endymion and Serenity?"
"Sort of, There are Sailor Senshi , which are their guardians, King applied them for us to pair up."
"Sailor Senshi?"
" I already paired up with one Senshi, she is called Tenoh Haruka."
"Haruka?"
"The King said I have almost the same personality like her, and she was a brave person like me."
"Ok, Father, you would like me to pair up with a senshi?"
"Yes, I'm planning to take you to visit the Outer Senshi, one of the members is Saturn, her name is Hotaru."
"Hotaru?"
"Yes. I will explain to you all about her later once we met Haruka."
In the Outer Senshi's house, Haruka is helping Hotaru on her homework.
"Hotaru, you know this question right?"
"Yes, Haruka Papa."
Hotaru then write the correct the answer to the blank of the question.
"There you go, Hime-chan. You got the answer correctly."
"Can I play now, Haruka-Papa?"
"You still have half a section to finish, Hime-chan."
"Aw, man."
"Once you finished, You can play whatever you want, but first. Finish your homework."
"Ok, Haruka Papa."
"I will go to the yard for a while, Hime chan, just trying to breathe some fresh air."
"Will you come back, Haruka papa?"
"Yes, I will, Hime chan. Do your homework is fine."
Haruka then shut the door. She was looking at the scenery.
"Without Michiru and Setsuna, I have to be very careful of taking care of Hotaru, I must not let her mad or something." She said.
Seven and Zero arrived near at the Outer Senshi's house.
"My son, Are you nervous?"
"Sort of, Father."
"Don't be scared, I'm on your side."
Seven rang the doorbell. And Hotaru put down her pencil as she rung the doorbell. She opened the door and saw a red and a blue Ultra.
"Mister Seven?"
"How are you, Hotaru chan?" Seven asked.
"I'm fine, And who is the person with you?"
"He is my son."
"He is your son?" Hotaru exclaimed.
"That's right."
Hotaru didn't even know that the red and blue figure is Seven's son, she first didn't know how to respond, so she called Haruka to help.
"Haruka Papa! Seven is following with a person!"
" Hotaru, are you alright?"
"Could you please help me out, Haruka Papa, I was scared."
"Don't worry, Hotaru." Haruka said as she took out her transformation pen.
Haruka then saw Seven standing with Zero.
"Seven san, this is?"
"My son, Zero. Ultraman Zero." Seven introduced him to Haruka.
"You're Haruka, Tenoh Haruka, right? My father told me about you." Zero asked.
"Yes, Zero, And this is Tomoe Hotaru, our daughter. And since today is just us at home, so you two are invited to our house." Haruka said.
"Thanks for having us, Haruka san." Zero said.
"Haruka Papa, can i talk with Zero san?"
"No problem, Hime chan. Let us have a moment when Zero and Hotaru have their chat, Shall we, Seven san?" Haruka said.
"Sure, Haruka chan."
Hotaru and Zero were sitting on the living room, Haruka and Seven are on the balcony, chatting happily with each other.
"So, Hotaru chan. This is the first time meeting you, may I ask how do you meet Haruka san?"
"I was born along with Professor Tomoe, he is my father, but then he died of an accident." Hotaru said.
"I feel sorry for you, Hotaru chan." Zero said.
"Afterwards, I was controlled and transformed to Mistress 9, attacking all the Sailor Senshi, including Usagi and the others."
"It's really similar as me, Hotaru chan."
"Zero san?"
"There is a evil villain called Belial, He is my arch-enemy, we fought a lot."
"Seems that you really have a hard time, fighting against him."
"At the time, I was possessed by Belial, and turned to Zero Darkness, and I attacked my team, the Ultimate Force Zero. I have to thank my team, they encouraged me to move on, so I'm able to defeat him."
"Ultimate Force Zero, you created this team right?"
"After the defeat of Kaiser Belial."
"Belial, the one that you mentioned. Zero san, He probably did something that was unforgivable to you?"
"He stole the plasma spark of the Land Of Light, and turned the whole country to Ice, My father and Ultraman are the ones that survived."
"Same as Galaxia, She stole our star seeds to change space." Hotaru replied.
"Galaxia?"
"It's the boss of Stars, We almost got killed except the Starlights and Usagi."
"But I assume she is not as bad as Belial right?"
"It's like, she is possessed by Chaos. And Haruka Papa told me Mister Seven and his brother had hold them before they disappeared."
"What? Seriously?"
"He hasn't told you, Zero san?"
"He didn't told me, Hotaru. "
"Me and Setsuna Mama were surprised, And I saw Mister Seven and his brother are holding Haruka Papa and Michiru Mama and they cried."
"My father cried? It's not like his character."
"Yes, he and Ultraman both cried."
"Feeling sympathy to Haruka san and Michiru san, right?"
"I think so."
This is Zero's first time to hear his father cried, a few years ago, Zero attempted to touch the plasma spark, in order to obtain more power, because of feeling himself as a weak Ultra,as he train with his masters every time , but he lost everytime. However, his father, Seven stopped him, and he was exiled from the planet. When Zero was taken away by his brothers, Seven didn't even shed a single tear. He did feel guilty of making his father sad, but he haven't seen his father cried before.
"And When I first met Mister Seven, he broke up with Haruka Papa, and Haruka cried heavily with her."
"Haruka san loves my father? I didn't know that, but what you say she cried on him, is why?"
"I remember is when King exiled him because of falling in love with a human, and he broke up with her."
"Really…." Zero sighed.
"But Mister Seven said King gave him one more chance to visit Haruka Papa."
"Father really have a lot of secrets hiding me, thanks for letting me know, Hotaru chan."
"I remember Haruka Papa cried so hard, that me, Michiru and Setsuna Mama heard her crying."
"Haruka san really loves my father that she doesn't want him to leave him from what you said."
"Zero san, I think this is the first time Haruka Papa witnessing a man to hold her."
"About what you said earlier, Hotaru chan. Did Father and Ultraman saved the Galaxy with Usagi and the starlights you mentioned?"
"They did, and they bid farewell. A few months later, Haruka Papa and Michiru Mama told me the truth on how they meet them, and we now know they were not villains."
"To some people that never heard of Ultraman, they would think about this, but glad you know my father was not a villain."
"When Mister Seven told me why he met Haruka Papa, I understand."
"No wonder why my father really loves Haruka san."
In the balcony, Seven and Haruka were smiling to each other.
"I didn't know you have a son, Seven san."
"Yes, I raised him for a long time ago, but at that time, Zero was training with his master, Leo."
"Leo?"
"Same Ultra as us."
"Oh, so you have other Ultras, Seven san."
"I will have the chance to introduce them if they come to visit you."
"Sure."
"How's taking care of Hotaru, Haruka?"
"It's worth, I need to fulfil the promise of Professor Tomoe."
"Professor Tomoe?"
"Her father, he offered us to took care of Hotaru, afterwards, we didn't see him."
"Maybe he turned back to a good professor?"
"Hard to tell. At that time we have to face the Sailor Animamates."
"Galaxia's pawns right?"
"Most of them were executed."
"She is really cruel, taunting Usagi and the starlights for their loss."
"But luckily you and Ultraman helped them and able to save the world. We were revived afterwards."
"I'm sorry for not letting you know we were alright, Haruka chan."
"It's ok."
"I will find my other brothers and take a visit if possible. Haruka chan."
"I'll wait."
Zero and Hotaru then got out of the yard.
"Hotaru chan, For what you mentioned about Michiru and Setsuna mama, who are they?"
"They are partners with them, but today they were off vacation."
"Really, they seemed to like going vacation."
"Yes, they love to travel the world."
"Then why they don't take you with Haruka?"
"My studies are piling up, Zero san. I need to be hard working."
"I see."
"What's your thought on Mister Seven?"
"My dad was kindhearted, Strict and have high expectations on me."
"Haruka Papa also have high expectations on me. It's very common on every parent."
"I think the only thing we could do to make our parents proud, is to behave ourselves."
"That's right, we have to fulfil our duties as warriors to protect the earth."
The duo vowed to protect their parents together, Zero is sure for one chance, if he could meet other senshi, he could join them to know more about them. But first, he must protect Hotaru. The only child for the Outer Senshi. He is certain about this.
"Hotaru chan, I'll protect you."
"We will do this together. Zero san." Hotaru said.
They won't be separated.
