Kasumi Ayase is a nice girl who wears her emotions on her sleeves and speaks her mind. She's overall pretty bossy and somewhat easygoing, yet something at the back of her mind annoyed her.
But there's something that no one, not even she herself knows; she is the Suwahara Beheader. Every time Ren goes to sleep, she gets into this semi-possessed state and kills without a single thought other than I must help Ren I kill for him he is weak he needs more power.
She was eventually stopped by Ren Fuji and the weapon that possessed her was taken away from her, allowing her to return to normal. Ren wanted to keep it that way, as he had gone through too much trouble to do so unfortunately he left one piece of bloodied clothing and Kasumi has found said thing "What is this" She took the blooded T-shirt and peered at the red stains.
now ren had left the apartment for school that day leaving Kasumi at home mostly because Ren had requested that she stay home for that day for some reason she did not know at the time with nothing really to do she went around exploring her room taking inventory making sure she with her scatterbrain didn't lose anything. she then opened her closet
"is that-"she looked closely at the bloody t-shirt memories then came flowing back to her the killings and her true nature plus a vague memory from that night that accursed night the night where she hurt Ren spilt his arm wide open and then it was blank last thing she remembered was him taking something from her something that made her feel useful yet the messed up things she did to make herself feel useful and him stronger made her feel like an utter monster who didn't deserve love but ren accepted her in his embrace her.
"Despite the things I put him through no matter what I did or do he will always love me but t-t-the real question is can I forgive myself" that moment, Kasumi clenched her hand tightly, the same hand that had ended the lives of countless individuals, their faces etched into her memory. She contemplated her own fate after death, pondering if her true identity would ever be discovered. The weight of her actions pressed heavily upon her conscience, leaving her uncertain about her place in the world and whether redemption was even possible.
Tears almost welled up in Kasumi's eyes as she grappled with her conflicted emotions kasumi quickly composed herself and got up even though her mind was filled with a lot of doubts and questions she was able to quickly determine her next course of action "I gotta put this up somewhere and wash it when I get the time before Ren comes home im pretty sure he wanted to hide this for me"
Ruby had found a way to drag Ren along on a shopping trip since she had zero money and since she had no money and no idea of how the conversation rate was from her currency to this new one. "How the hell did you manage to get me here and spend all my money? This stuff doesn't grow on trees," Ren complained as he carried the week's worth of clothing which would be heavy if it wasn't for his inhuman strength.
"it technically does from what I learned," the redhead said as she walked next to him to the church at which she stayed at that statement ren then looked at her like she was stupid if she was anything like kasumi which she matched up with by like 85% there was no way in the nine circles of hell she was paying a signafic amount of attention in class.
"We both know you were spacing out during class also let me state this as long as you don't interrupt my daily monotonous life or hurt anyone we are good" Ruby got where he was coming from she would say the same things if a stranger caught her at a weird and risky moment as she did him.
"I get that and classes are so boring I guess that's a universal constant" Ruby complained as they were getting close to the church doors while she was walking up to the doors a few things crossed her mind Yang where in the hell could she be? she learned the vastness of the new world they fallen in she was on this island called japan in the Asian part of the world yang could be anywhere literally anywhere.
before the doors of the church could crack open from Ren pushing on it he turned around and asked a question immediately taking Ruby out of her thoughts of her teammates "I've been meaning to ask why here do you have any ties here why do you have to lounge at this old church"?
"oh, I lost my family here so the nice priest took me in until I find them or they find me speaking of family what about yours" She quickly turned the question around with somewhat of a downtrodden look on her face she didn't want to answer any specific questions she didn't know enough about how things worked here to come up with any story that would make sense and didn't want to cast doubt on the possibility of her team being over 6000 miles away from her and possibly from each other plus the 1 million holes that came with that excuse.
one of the main problems being why are you in school shouldn't a tourist not be allowed to sign up for it and why would a caring family leave their daughter in a foreign place even if it's japan.
"my parents died in a car crash when I was really young so they're out of the question I guess they didn't have any relatives" Ren truly did not know of the true nature of his existence he was the equivalent of a lab baby created to fight their creators as some sort of complicated suicide ritual but he sure as hell didn't know that because of this any details he's ever given was false and vague by nature.
"That's sad how'd you get by with that blade and strength of yours im assuming nothing good," Ruby asked uncharacteristically nosy she now was very interested in how her peer made it through life she knew he had powers and he knew she knew about his power and he was glad she didn't exploit him for any porpoise.
"no, I didnt gain them until recently a close friend's family took me in and basically raised me" now ren was the cautious type and didn't want to give out any information other then the essintals so he wasn't going to give anything past that and ruby could tell she wasn't getting anything of note so she naturally was going to drop the topic.
the doors to the church creaked open reaviling the nice interior with it's many decorations and humble fixtures making it feel like a place of great importance to the teen pair even though they both been there before one was even living in it.
