Chapter Six: Night of the Game
It was the night of the game and the cheer team was working on keeping the morale up and such, however that wasn't for long because a brawl had broken out. Caleb and Brian had gotten into an argument that ultimately caused enough damage on the field. Yet Elizabeth had tried to keep Caleb motivated one way or another. But with the presence of Zoe it was an annoyance not only to him but to her really.
The Game was going to shit honestly, and when it came to the half-time the band had got into the fight mid-way through their song. Elizabeth couldn't just watch this and she went somewhere, Caleb had seen this happen and when no one was looking. He had sneaked out to follow her, he had found her under the bleachers. Caleb only said "Hey" while Elizabeth looked at him "This is all horrible".
Caleb said "the timing was off for a new game especially all that happened, but don't worry about the game it doesn't matter really". He added "It's only the first game of the season so don't fret about it really". Elizabeth sighed "But everyone is just attacking each other over stupid small-failures". Caleb held her hand as he said "Trust me Eli, there's going to be moments like this but try and focus more on the future then right now".
Elizabeth only said "I guess" as she gave him a kiss, however they were interrupted when they heard people approaching and Brian and Zoe were sneaking behind. However the two had found Caleb and Elizabeth, which Zoe wanted to throw up. Zoe only said "Oh god you're with that abomination" and Brian said "Figured I knew this happened". Caleb only said "Well guess what at least my abomination is better than you".
However Coach Burghs heard an argument and he went to check it out, to which he said "What is going on here" Caleb replied "Well me and Elizabeth are leaving". Elizabeth and Caleb had left, which Brian said "Coach Caleb and". Burghs only said "I don't want to hear it from you Brian, after what happened at that party". Burghs stated "In all honesty, you deserve whatever comes your way Brian".
Brian rolled his eyes as he said "I need to change this school" which Zoe said "Agree, besides Caleb and Elizabeth are like the worst couple". However Autumn and Wes overheard them and they just said "Unlike you two, they are better". The two knew who those voices were and they stated it out freely. In the final time of the game, the cheer team had tried to compile the power bomb but it all went wrong.
Mia had fallen to the ground and she broke her ankle or so, which they gathered now where Elizabeth just said "People just stand back" and Mia said "Thanks' Eli". Peyton and Sydney just got Mia up by putting her arms around their shoulders. Sydney just said "Sorry but" Elizabeth just said "It's fine, besides she needs to get help". The two went off with Mia now, which she sighed annoyed.
Autumn and Wes came down the steps only to see the current situation, the two had seemed to be quite cute together oddly. Elizabeth said "So there's the next cute couple" while Autumn said "Wait, what?" only for Wes to add "Us? No". Ezra only said "To admit, you two are honestly a good pair together". Wes just rolled his eyes however he couldn't actually deny that because the two were standing together.
Autumn only said "Besides, you and Caleb make a great pair and hell a better pair than that last mess of a relationship" which Zoe said "Pfft as if". Elizabeth only said out loud "Nobody cares what you have to say, at least my looks are natural". She added "And I don't have to use makeup to cover myself up all the time". Wes then said "Burn for Zoe" which Brian said "Yeah well if you weren't a blonde".
Autumn said "That made no sense at all" which Elizabeth said "Tried to use my hair color against me but ends up being the one who doesn't make any sense". Autumn chuckled "Roast against Brian as well" as it seemed like Zoe and Brian were not happy. Brian just said "You know what I'm done, I am tired of this school, I'm going to join Hearst". Ezra said "Good, we don't want you and your clan of harassers here".
Elizabeth just said "Now that they're gone, we have a lot of work to do to fix our school and get us ready for the next game". Ezra added "Agree but to find a new quarterback" which they weren't looking at the current situation. Hell they already knew they lost the game so they were just talking about the next one. Maybe there's a student that could be ideal to them but they just didn't know who it was.
Yet tomorrow brought a new day, and the school was finally holding a prep rally to at least boost the morale for their entire school. Autumn and Peyton were working on the mascot and that was when they brought Elizabeth in to do it. Besides they knew that she was good at boosting the morale of people, so she was the ideal candidate. They snagged her when she was walking by the locker room.
Autumn said "perfect we got you, listen we need someone to be the mascot and nobody has a good morale boost then you do, so we want you to be the Mascot". Elizabeth only said "Me, but I don't even" Peyton replied "It's quite easy, it's like cheerleading". Autumn added "Although you're wearing a costume so". Elizabeth said "Well I suppose" and she had gone to look at the costumes, she had picked the Snow Tiger one more.
Elizabeth said "I'll wear this one I suppose" which Autumn nodded before she said "Meet me up around the time they decided to host the prep rally". Elizabeth nodded and she departed to do her classes now, the school was critically low in morale. However when it came too close to being the prep rally, Elizabeth departed her class early. And she had gone to meet up with Autumn and them to get ready.
Autumn gave her the outfit and Elizabeth had gotten it on now, which they said "Perfect you are ready now" Elizabeth nodded and the three were walking out to the field. Caleb was standing with some of his friends and he said "Where's Elizabeth". Elizabeth said "Im in here" which Caleb looked at and he said "You're in the tiger suit". Elizabeth replied "Yep, quite uncomfortable and warm in here honestly".
Sydney said "Listen we can get you out later, let's get this thing done. Me and Peyton are heading to the hospital to see Mia" and Elizabeth said "I'm tagging along then". And they had begun their prep rally for the school. Peyton had tossed Elizabeth a T-Shirt cannon and pretty much Elizabeth began shooting T-Shirts into the crowds. Which helped put it all together, besides it seemed the entire prep rally had helped the school a lot.
It now seemed like they were unstoppable despite their setback, however tomorrow was going to showcase a new issue and one that deserves retaliation. After the Prep-rally and Elizabeth was getting out of that fursuit now since she was hot as fuck. Literally hot not by looks but serious, look wise she was quite a hottie, better then Zoe. At least according to Caleb who finds her more beautiful then with his ex.
Elizabeth then said "Well then let's get to the hospital then" which Caleb said "Not so fast" which Elizabeth said "What now?". Caleb smirks as Elizabeth rolled her eyes as she gave him a kiss on the cheek now, all Peyton just said was "Ship". Sydney chuckled as she said "A cute couple in the works I tell you Peyton". Caleb said "I'll call you tonight" which Elizabeth replied "I'll be looking forward to it".
Caleb and Ezra were walking off together before Ezra asked "So when are you gonna ask her to be your girlfriend" Caleb only said "I don't really know honestly". The two were walking to Ezra's car and Caleb said "I need to get my own car". Ezra just said "Let me guess you want to get a truck for you two". Caleb only said "What no, well I mean that would technically fit our taste".
Ezra only said "Listen I'll talk to our parents about some finance and we'll go shopping, the issue is Imma have to lie to them that we are buying you a fancier car". Caleb only said "I don't know what's wrong with other vehicles". Ezra replied "Personally nothing but you know how our parents are just that type of people". When they got back to their house, Ezra went into the house as he said "Ey Pa, Imma need some money".
Their father asked "for what?" Ezra replied "Well Caleb is ready to buy his first car and all that" which his father said "Oh he really is". His father asked "What type" which Ezra said "A Rolls Royce" because he knew his father had that as his favorite. His father said "Alright I'll give you the money for it" and this was too easy. His father actually believed it, and once he got the movie and the two had gone down to the dealership.
Ezra and Caleb were walking through, which Caleb was trying to think of what he wanted but he heard a familiar voice and the two had looked. There was Brian looking at muscle cars which Ezra said "Looks like he needs to compensate for down there". Caleb chuckled a bit and the two went back to looking, until they stopped. And all Caleb said was "This is perfect right here" which he liked the truck a lot.
Yeah the truck was the color of the snow, however it didn't matter really and all that mattered is that the truck looked good really. Ezra asked "So this is what you want huh" which Caleb nodded and he said "Yep" which Ezra thought for a second. He just asked "You plan on sneaking out tonight" which Caleb said "Why do you ask". Ezra chuckled as he said "I'm thinking, you put some pillows and a blanket in the back".
One of the workers said "So you like the truck?" Caleb said "Yeah I do" as the worker nodded before he said "It's a nice truck, a great load capacity". When Ezra said "Perfect for romantic nights" he chuckled a bit while the worker said "That too". The worker just asked "So who's the lucky girl?" Caleb replied "Oh someone on the cheer team". The worker nodded before he said "Well if you want to come in we can do all the work".
Caleb nodded and the two had gone into the building now so that they could get all of that work started now, besides it shouldn't take too long. Or well it took at least a few hours, at least three hours and thirty minutes. And they had finally got the payment and paperwork processed and all that and the guy said "Well then". Caleb looked, while the guy just tossed him the keys and he said "She's all set".
Caleb had caught the keys which Ezra said "I'll see you at home little brother" which he walked out now while Caleb had gone out to his new vehicle. He got into it and he said "Perfecto" which he started up and he decided to drive home now. Although he knew that his parents would probably disapprove of his choices however. At the moment, there wasn't anything they could do besides he signed the paperwork.
Tomorrow, he had decided he'd go pick Elizabeth up, besides it wouldn't hurt to give her father one single break at least.
