"Why haven't you picked out your own name?" Arizona asked for the third time that week as she watched the monitors behind Lord Shaxx for the two Guardians she would be in a fireteam with: Fae and Argonaught seemed to have a rivalry in the crucible.

"Because it's customary for my Risen to name me." Ghost explained again, getting more and more annoyed with each time he had to explain it, "…and that's you. I've waited a very long time…not just so people will stop calling me Ghost. That's what I am, and if that's what you'd like to call me I'll take the name…"

"But do you like the name Ghost?"

Ghost was quiet for a long while. She hated that he didn't always answer her questions outright. It felt like he chose his words carefully. "I don't know that I've ever thought about it really."

She rolled her eyes. "But do you like the name? Okay, how about, what kind of a name do you like? Do you want a strong name? Come on, you've gotta give me something to work with here!"

Lord Shaxx turned away from the monitors with his arms crossed. "Your ghost is trying to tell you that he'll like any name you pick out for him…because you put in the thought and time into naming him perfectly."

Arizona nodded at the screen. "What have they named their ghosts?"

Lord Shaxx pointed at the screen where Argonaut's ghost revived him. "Argonaut named his ghost Juggernaut and Fae named her ghost Nymph. Have you tried looking through Ikora's books for inspiration?"

"Yeah, nothing I've seen seem to fit him, though." She sighed.

Shaxx put a hand on her shoulder, "Don't fret, Guardian. It takes time. Some Guardians take years to finally name their ghosts. And others," Lord Shaxx looked back toward a darker area of the Tower where a Guardian called the Drifter was regailing his tales to a couple of new Guardians, "may never pick a name for their Ghost."

Arizona was about to ask him what he named his ghost when he suddenly exclaimed, "Ah, Guardians!" He approached the Hunter and Titan. With their helmets off, Arizona was shocked to learn how different she had imagined them! The Titan was a large Awoken, his face a pale blue-almost leaning into grey, and he had glowing golden eyes, with black hair down to his chin.

The Hunter was a female Exo, with a light-blue painted metal, and two antennas poking out of her head, like pigtails, and her eyes and jaw lit up a bright purple. Next to them Arizona felt plain. She had long silvery hair that she braided on her left side, her fair skin was plain, and her eyes were a stark green.

The Titan approached her smiling. Unlike Fae, he seemed…warmer. "Bet you never laid your eyes on something this good." He flexed his arms.

Arizona stared at him. "You're kidding me." She laughed. She laughed a little too hard. Her face and stomach began to hurt before she composed herself.

Fae laughed with her, and as soon as their eyes met they laughed again.

"Come on, that was my best line." Argonaught whined, which threw the girls into another fit of laughter. Arizona wheezed and leaned against Fae.

"Oh god, you're kidding. Please tell me he's kidding. Surely you could've come up with…I don't know, 'hello' would've been better!"

Finally the two girls started to compose themselves. "I'm Fae, this is Argonaut. We've often worked together, but rarely with a Warlock. Hopefully, the two of us can keep him out of trouble."

"I died once last time!"

"Because you jumped off a cliff without looking." Fae jested. "And you took out the last Warlock we worked with."

Argonaught held up his hands, "In my defense…I never told him to follow me."

"You acted like you knew where you were going!" Whether or not Fae smiled was easier to tell by looking at how her eyes closed, Arizona realized. Her eyes squinted when she was playful, and the bottom 'lids' came up halfway when she 'smiled'. She had the most expressions out of any exo she'd met.

"I'm Arizona." She remembered that Ghost still floated by her shoulder. "This is Ghost…or at least that's what I'm calling him until I find a name for him."

Fae looked at the Titan and then her, "You have your own ship yet?"

"I think Ikora said Amanda…had one in mind. I haven't gone to see her yet."

"Well you can't not have a ship. Let's go see Amanda."

Arizona's ship was a good sized-ship. It's wings came around and pointed inward in front of itself and painted in blue with a kind of metallic accent that reflected the lights. "We call 'er Heaven's Pearl." Amanda explained. "She's been sittin' here for a while collectin' dust. She's all yours now, though." She grinned.

Arizona returned the smile, though it wasn't as big or as warm as it used to be. She looked at Ghost. "I…don't really know how to fly." She admitted.

"Don't worry, I'll be able to help you a little with the controls for this first run."

Fae said, "I got word from Ikora that we'll be going to Mars. Cabal ships are threatening Savathun's."

Argonaut scoffed, "Then let 'em. Why should we get in the middle of it?"

Fae folded her arms, "Typical Titan. If they're successful in firing then Savathun may go back into hiding and drag Mars with her."

"I doubt Savathun's appearance and Mars's reappearance are related." Arizona said quietly. "But we shouldn't fight with our allies either."

"Typical Warlock. We may not have a choice in this. They've refused our calls to stop. I'll brief you two about it on the way over."
