"You thought that was rude?" Argonaut towered over Arizona.

She tried so hard to keep hold of her voice, "Fynch didn't do anything. He gave you back Sagira. After we extract the memories we can return her to her Guardian."

Argonaut shook his head, "Are you really that stupid? He's in a coma! He'll probably die!"

Arizona's stomach flipped painfully. She shook her head, "I've only been alive for less than a month. I don't know anyone like you guys know….I…just…" her voice trailed until she went silent.

"She's trying her best using the little she knows about the world." Ghost finished for her but that isn't what she had wanted to say.

Fae folded her arms and stood by Arizona. "What's gotten into you? You're hotheaded, sure, but all of this is uncalled for and none of us will be moving forward until this is settled." She sat crossing her legs under her.

Arizona's leg's felt weak, but she refused to sit.

"Why are you not more outraged, Fae?"

"What is there to be mad about? She's new. Everyone had a learning curve…you had a pretty steep one from what I understand."

"That's not-We're practically babysitting her by this point and clearly she's spying on us for Ikora."

"That isn't why she was put on this mission," Ghost yelled.

"And who asked you? What? She can't stand up on her own?"

"You keep yelling at her for no reason! She doesn't think she can trust you!"

Arizona's whole body shook. She felt the tears welling and spilling. She could feel the thunder of his voice in her head until she couldn't hear anything else. She wanted it all to stop. Maybe that was why she punched him. He was taken off guard, and his head snapped around while her whole arm shot up with pain. She rocked back and forth, cradling her right hand in her left.

"Damn it, that hurt so much." She choked out as she jumped up and down, as if somehow the inertia would help her pain. "Why can't you just be nicer? I didn't do shit to you. Actually, I almost shot you, but I didn't. That's why you're on this mission with Fae, actually, it has nothing to do with her skills surpassing yours, it's that you're too hotheaded to think! If anything she's babysitting you. If you got your head out of your ass for two seconds and maybe used your brain-I know that's hard for you to do, but just try-then maybe just maybe you would see that I'm trying my best and I know I've fucked up, but we all have to admit that Fynch did give you back Sagira and regardless of whoever is in a coma I will be returning the shell back to them!" Her voice echoed off the rocks, she realized, and she then heard just how loud she had been screaming. "So with or without you two I am going to go check out this anomaly because I have Sagira's shell! You are welcome to join me if your babysitter comes along!"

Fae chuckled and Argonaut turned to her. "Why are you laughing? This isn't funny! All you warlocks think the same! You all think all us Titans are dumb!"

Arizona rolled her eyes, "I never said that! I never said you were dumb, not once, and I've never tried to act like you were dumb either. Yeah that crazy plan to shoot us out of a Cabal cannon was pretty crazy and dumb but it got us up to where we needed to be in the end, so I guess I'll give you a pass on that one."

"And all you warlocks think you're better than everyone!" He continued as if she'd never spoken.

"So, because I had no choice in my class I'm being punished." She shook her head and folded her arms, "Maybe after this we should trade you for this…Crow person. Or any person for that matter, honestly." She shook her head. "Stay here with Fynch, go back to the Tower, I really don't care. But I'm going to continue on with or without your help." She started off in the direction Ikora had called the Miasma.

Scorn were everywhere. Ghost disappeared into Arizona's backpack often but when the area was clear he would reappear by her side to keep her company. He could feel her emotions in some aspect, or maybe he was just really good at reading them, and he could tell she was…lonely in a lot of ways.

"Please tell me all Titans aren't like Argonaut, Ghost." She begged as she investigated one of the cave systems. He knew without Fae or Argonaut and their newly acquired Deepsite, they wouldn't get very far ahead.

"Saint-14 isn't as hotheaded. Osiris can be sometimes, but he's a Warlock."

Arizona smiled, stopping with her hand along the wall, probably to feel for some kind of door. "I always hear their names mentioned together. They must be…close."

Ghost nodded, "They are."

She sighed, "That's…nice to know that some Guardians can have their kind of relationship. Damn, I can't seem to find a path forward. Are you sure this is right?"

"Yes, this is the only path."

"Damn." She sighed. "Obviously there's something I'm missing."

Darkness, he kept the thought to himself.

Soon there were footsteps that approached, heavy ones. Fae came in first followed by Argonaut.

"Maybe you can find the door," Arizona said as if she hadn't just yelled at Argonaut half an hour before. "I scoured this place top to bottom but I can't seem to find a path forward."

Fae put a hand on her shoulder and nodded toward something that neither Ghost nor Arizona could see. Argonaut waved his hand, through or over what Ghost wasn't sure but a part of the wall disappeared and everyone stepped through.

They soon came across a large room with the same marble-like statue that they had seen throughout the Throne World, holding the same bowls that contained nothing inside, as if they were offering up something to them.

Arizona followed the stairs up curiously. They led around, under balconies and on the other side was what appeared to be a sealed doorway. She put a hand on the rock. "This is the only door." She called back to Fae and Argonaut.
