Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, the Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, couldn't help but sigh tiredly as the Hogwarts Ward System informed him that three people had appeared within the walls of the school in the middle of the night, two minutes to midnight to be more specific. Two of the three people in question were the pair of particularly difficult to miss first years of the house of Hufflepuff. Enuma Gremory and Shalltear Bloodfallen. The third person being a first year of the house of Gryffindor, Hermione Granger, who Dumbledore was rather pleased to see being friendly with the other two, despite the fact that they weren't in the same house. Which could be considered a good thing. Unity between houses and what not.
Something that the Headmaster of Hogwarts found himself worried about though was the fact that the Girl Who Lived, Harriet Potter, wasn't in the school amongst the other first years. Hell! She wasn't even in the school registry anymore! Granted, the last time until recently Dumbledore checked for her name in the registry was about five years ago. While he was aware that a lot could happen in five years, the Girl Who Lived vanishing from the face of the earth was not something he expected, or planned, to happen.
Another development that was unexpected, but not really a setback, was the sudden appearance of a pair of children, a pair of twins to be more precise, one boy and one girl, who have been kept in a form of magical stasis for three years by now. Hidden within the Room of Requirement ever since they entered a form of magical coma after absorbing a massive amount of magic from the area to recover from severe injuries they had received from… somewhere. While the children strongly resemble humans, diagnostic spells revealed that they weren't human but something called Dúr Galadrim (not that anyone really knew how to pronounce it) and that they were older than what their appearance might suggest. They were both seventy six and resembled ten to twelve year old children. Little did the Headmaster of Hogwarts know that the twins would actually wake up and leave the castle during the very same year that the Girl Who Lived would have started her first year at Hogwarts.
