So, this isn't a chapter, which I know might be disappointing to some of you, but I figured many of you would like to hear this one.
So, spoilers for a second, originally, this story was gonna end upon the farm. I had a plan, and the story was gonna end with a light tone of sorts upon the farm, a more happy ending considering this is a Walking Dead fanfic. But... I've seen reviews here and there about John encountering future antagonists, such as the Governor and Negan, and admittedly, I've had thoughts like that as well. But I've been so dead set on my original plan, and honestly I was actually determined to make this the first story I ever finish, but... well, you know what? I have another idea.
I enjoy interacting with the people who read my stories, whether it's through PM's, review replies, or polls. So, here's what I'm gonna do.
At the time this chapter goes up, I will have a poll up on my profile. You, the readers, get to decide my course of action regarding this story.
The next few chapters are already planned out and will be unaffected, but I plan to give no more spoilers than I have too.
But here's what it boils down to, because we have three options.
1. I continue with the orignal plan, and finish the story as intended, and leave it at that.
2. I finish the story as planned, and then proceed to write non-canonical oneshots involving John and the group in later seasons.
3. I continue well past the second season.
I want to leave this up to you to decide, because I do enjoy these interactions with my readers, and I will leave the poll up until votes stop coming in completely, or until the next few chapters have been finished. Which means you have a while before I take the poll down if the votes come in.
