Ren had fallen asleep at some point during the journey to Shibuya, Which was understandable since the trip was supposed to be an extremely long and grueling journey, however, his brain had other plans for him and decided that it just wanted to torture him instead by making him have a nightmare about what caused him to be on the train in the first place.

He had come across a woman being forcibly shoved into a shady man's car, she obviously didn't want to because she was desperately calling for someone to help her. The aggressor was a man who had a bald head, orange tinted half glasses and a goatee. Ren had simply put his hand on the man's shoulder from behind him, the man quickly turned around before losing his footing and ultimately falling onto the pavement causing him to bleed a little.

The man got up and stared straight at Ren while clutching his head and said to him. "Damn brat…I'll sue." Before he was taken into custody by the authorities, the trial had been anything but fair, the woman whom Ren had tried to help testified against him and the case was closed with little deliberation.

Ren then looked around to find himself still on the train headed for Shibuya. At first nothing seemed out of the ordinary until he realized that he no longer had his glasses on and he could see perfectly fine. "Huh" he chuckled to himself only to be a little confused when he realized that he sounded more feminine, he also noticed that instead of having short messy black hair, he now had long, straight, black hair and perhaps the strangest thing of all is that he now had breasts.

He wasn't really bothered by it though, if anything he kinda liked the change that had taken place it was a nice change of pace. He checked his phone only to realize that the background had changed, and he knew for a fact that he had not changed it. He shrugged before going through the contacts in it.

Apparently he had taken control of a female about his age that goes by the name Kira Kurusu and that she was in the same boat as him, she had been falsely convicted of assaulting a woman which caused his or rather her eyebrows to raise, the details of the incident were almost identical aside from the difference in gender between the two.

She was also supposed to go live with her aunt Nobuko Sakura who apparently lived in the same house as his uncle Sojiro with the same last name as his. Ren sighed and thought to himself (obviously these coincidences aren't going to stop happening, perhaps she is another version of myself.)

Soon the train screeched to a halt and Ren promptly exited the train before climbing the stairs to the famous crosswalk. He was on Kira's phone using the maps application to find his way to the next train station, suddenly out of nowhere an ominous phone app with a black, white, blue and red eye symbol on it showed up on top of the map.

After pressing it a few times and nothing was happening he started to get worried that the app was some sort of malware. But before he could delete it, time slowed to a stop for everyone except Ren. More intrigued than scared, he decided to admire his surroundings.

Suddenly he heard a laugh and a black and blue flame started in front of him. It started out small until eventually it morphed into a tall figure with a pair of feathered black wings stemming from it's back, a top hat and a couple of horns on its head before a doppelgänger of himself stepped out of the flames except he had yellow eyes instead of Ren's storm gray eyes, he also seemed to have an unsettling grin on his face.

The next instant everything was back to normal and the people surrounding him seemed none the wiser, Ren shrugged before deleting the app and continuing on his way to Nobuko's place, Upon arrival he rang the doorbell and waited. After about 5 minutes he decided to ask Kira's mother for Nobuko's phone number.

A few minutes later, her mother replied with an answer and a phone number to which Ren promptly called. "Hello, this is Kira. I'm supposed to be staying with you during probation. I'm waiting outside for you" He said to her, before she replied saying "Oh sorry, I guess your mom forgot to mention that I own a Café around here, Stay there and I'll come and get you."

Ren did as he was told and as promised she showed up a few minutes later. She had long curly black hair and rimless glasses. "It's been so long! I haven't seen you since you were a baby!" She cried, embracing Kira's body into a hug. Ren awkwardly returned after a few seconds, after Nobuko stopped hugging him, she spoke up.

"I'll take you to your new living quarters." To which Ren replied with "I thought I was living with you?" Nobuko shook her head and started leading him somewhere. The location in question was a café known as Maurice's, Nobuko then opened the door and ushered him inside.

Once inside he noticed that it was quite nice, the atmosphere was very calm and comforting, it also had a fragrance of baked goods, such as bread and sweets. She then led Ren into the attic which looked as if it had just been cleaned. "I cleaned the room for you and decided to bring your belongings upstairs for you to unpack, since I didn't know where you would want everything." She said with a smile.

"Thank you, I appreciate it!" He replied with sincere gratitude. "Oh that reminds me, tomorrow we will be going to your new school to introduce yourself to the faculty." Ren nodded and asked "I'm going to… Shujin Academy, right?" Nobuko nodded before adding "That's right… However you should be on your best behavior otherwise you'll end up in juvenile again, anyways I'm sure that the trip was long so I'll be locking up for the day." She said before going downstairs and leaving the café.

Once Nobuko left, Ren decided to start unpacking her things, when he was finally finished, the sun had set and it was late in the evening. One of the things that he unpacked from Kira's belongings was a notebook with a unicorn on it. Ren looked in it to see that there wasn't anything written in it, so he decided to write to Kira about what had transpired.

Dear Kira Kurusu,

You're probably wondering why you can't remember anything that happened yesterday. That's because I, Ren Amamiya, was in control of your body back then. I am not necessarily sure if we'll switch back tonight but just in case I've decided to summarize what happened to me. I fell asleep on the train on the way to Shibuya, had a nightmare about what caused me to be on said train, woke up, realized that this isn't my body, encountered a strange app on your phone, encountered some sort of demon, met with your aunt, and you are now lodging in the attic of her café. If you have any questions then just write them in this book and I'll try to answer them to the best of my ability.

Ren then closed the journal and placed it on the bedside table. Before checking her phone for the time, when he was trying to familiarize himself with the layout of it, he noticed that the app from earlier was back, so he deleted it before falling asleep for the night.
