The second day comes very quickly . Today is the day that I have to go to the aptitude test. Aptitude test is going to tell us which factions we really belong. It is to test our subconscious . However no matter what decision we get, we can also choose whatever we want tomorrow .

I shouldn't be nervous but I am . I don't know what to expect at the exam so I don't except myself to get 100 percent. I sit on the bed with no reaction but I also can't fall a sleep.

You have to trust your self . You have to do what is right for you. I have to remind of myself but that is still no use

With the time pass, the sun already raised . I have to get up. I dress up in my grey robe . Last night, I did not see Alan Davis clearly so I am so curious. I wish that I can meet him one day even I don't chose dauntless .

"Sister it is time." Beatrice is calling me

"I am coming down in a second ." I scream

I sit down in front of the desk. I don't know what I should do . I put on the watch. This is only the decoration that we can use . It is practical in usage . I stand up and walk out of the room.

"Morning Delia" mom smiles at me ." It is time to cut your hair ."

Today is also the day of every third month that I can cut my hair and also look at my reflection in the mirror in front the glass mirror .

"Thanks mom."I sit on the desk

Mom starts to trim my hair . My hair falls off in the blind dull ring.

"You look pretty." Mom compliments me

"You look prettier mom." I am blushing.

"How are you with Jason doing?" Mom puts her hand on my shoulder

My mom also thinks that we are together?

"We are just friends mom." I am annoyed

"I am sorry. I am just kidding." Mom giggles

Then mom closes the mirror and I stand up.

"It's okay mom."I shake my head

I get downstair into the kitchen. Caleb is making breakfast and I will be making dinner today.

"So morning Delia." Jason is sitting beside beatrice .

"Why are you even here?" I fold my arms." Your brother hurts my best friend and now why are you here ."

"I know Eric I is a jerk. I am sorry Delia. However can we have a talk after ? I can walk you to school." Jason looks at me sincerely.

I don't want to have a fight with him. I sit down beside dad

"Sure." I say

I lower my head and start to eat. My mom comes downstair

"Morning Jason." Mom smiles at him.

"Morning ms prior ." Jason smiles back at mom.

Jason is nice toward us . So no one attack prior's family as stiff .

"I am sorry that breakfast is so plain ." Mom sits down .

"It's nice . I like it." Jason drinks the milk.

I know that he is pretending to like it. He never like milk

"You don't like eggs and milk and I know it." I say coldly." Don't pretend . I am full and I have to get to school on time."

Today I don't have class so do my sisters and brother . I only have to complete the test and come home.

"I will walk with you." Jason stands up ." Thanks you mr prior ."

Jason follows me out of the room. I don't see his people here .

"Why your people aren't here?" I ask

"It is our private time." Jason holds my hand." Delia why are you doing this to me."

"Jason let go of me please." I push him away

Jason wraps me in his arm forcefully. Then a hand pull him away.

"Hey don't touch her!" A man yells at him

"Who are you?" Jason frowns." A dauntless ?"

"I am dauntless soldier . It is my duty to protect anyone who got threaten ." The man smirks." Even you are a leader."

Jason stands there still. I feel that I saw this dauntless soldier somewhere else.

"Are you going to school?" The man says coldly

"Yes I am ." I nod at him." Thank you."

"I will walk with you to school ." The soldier waves at me

I follow him. He is handsome . He has lighter skin and has no hair . He has lighter eye brows and eyes . His beard are also brown and it grows around his whole chin.

"What's your name sir?" I ask

"I don't like other people to ask me the name ." The man shakes his head

"I am sorry." I lower my head

We get to school and the man waves at me .

"Bye see you soon ." The man nods at me

"See you." I feel my heart jumps so fast.

Am I in love with man? I shouldn't be and I can't . He is from dauntless and I am abnegation .

I walk into the school and Abby is waiting for me

"Hey Delia!" Abby is waving at me." Why are you all red."

" it's fine ." I sit down beside her

"Tell me what's wrong? Are you blushing?" Abby giggles

I don't want to tell her the encounter of dauntless soldier

"I was distract by Jason coulter on the way to school and a dauntless soldier saved me . He is quiet handsome." I tilt my head

"So you are blushing. What is his name ?"abby wraps her arms around me .

I shake my head . He doesn't want to tell me so I don't know .

"He did not want to tell me ." I am so disappointed

"I maybe can help with that." Abby blinks at me

A teacher comes out with a booklet in her hand

"Abnegation, Delia prior . Erudite Abby, Candor rose kang, dauntless Zeke pedrad and amity Mary Alexander ." The teacher calls the series of name .

I and Abby stand up. We are on the same order

"Do you want to come to my house tonight for a dinner?" I ask her

"Sure after we finish the test, we can go and hang out." Abby holds my hand ." Good luck."

We were standing in front of a door. We are waiting for our examiner to call us.

I am so sweating. My palms are rubbing against my robe.

"Come in please." A woman is calling me

I open the door. I see a dauntless woman is standing there checking out the machine .

"My name is tori . I will be running your test today. Please sits down and gets comfortable with yourself." Tori looks down and takes out the electrode.

I am the first one maybe so she is setting up everything. I sit down on the recline chair .

I see a hawk tattoo on her chest. It is black .

"Why the hawk." I wander

"Never saw a curious abnegation before . " tori sighs ." When I was young, I was afraid of dark. Then the hawk in some ancient world represents the sun. I think that if I have a sun on me then I will not afraid of dark anymore."

"You are afraid of dark?" I repeat

Tori looks at me seriously. I know that she is annoyed

"I was ." She hands me a cup of liquid ." Drink this "

"What is it ?" I ask.

"I can't tell you but you have to trust me ." Tori starts to put those electrodes on my head

I have to drink it. I tell myself. I drink them all.then I am gone.

When I wake up , I am in school cafeteria . However the desks and tables around me are all gone . Two plates appear in front of me . One has a knife and one has a piece of cheese.

"Choose one ." A woman's voice appears.

"Why?" I ask

"Choose one." The woman's voice is harsher

I don't move. After a minute , the plates disappear.

"Then have your own way."

The door squeaks open behind me . I turn around and look at him. Rather saying that the object is a him but using it is the best choice .

It is a big black dog with sharp teeth. Its paw is scraping the floor and he is about to attack. I understand why the cheese and knife will be handy. However I don't have any choice now

However if I look into its eyes is an attack sigh , then what is a sign of submissive? Yes , it's to look away . I lower my body slowly and look away from its eyes .

I close my eyes. Don't attack me please. Finally the dog stops, it is licking my face

"Oh you are such a cutie. Aren't you?" I touch its nose.

The dog nudges my hand with its head. Then I see a white dress girl comes into the room

"A puppy!"

The girl opens its arm and I am scared. The dog is turning . It starts barking at the girl and starts running.

"No !" I scream

I run after the dog and throw myself at the dog. I then wake up in a different place. I am on a bus . A Candor man sits beside me . He wears black and white standard uniform. The Candor values honesty so they see truth as black and white.

"Do you know this guy?" The man gives me the newspaper.

I see on the title where it was written." A serial murder is comprehended." It has been a long time that the city has a serial murder

"No I haven't." I say firmly.

I have to let him believe that I haven't seen that man before but I do feel familiar .

"Really?" He questions me

I nod at him.

He then stands up and walks off the bus .

"If you can tell me , then you will save me ." The man is crying

"Well , I don't know who the man is !" I scream

Then I wake up in the testing room, Tori gets scared.

"Are you alright?" Tori blinks at me

"Yeah I am fine." I sigh with relief." Everything are done now ?"
