After abby chooses, Jason staring at us for a minute. Seeing his own people leaving is a sense of shame. Abby betrays erudite especially that her parent are the leaders of erudite . So do my parent, I betrayed them already too

"James tucker." Jason calls

Lucky , I still have two sisters and a brother so I can wish at least one of them will stay in abnegation for me. James tucker is a dauntless born.

He walks toward the stage. Comparing to other dauntless, he is extremely quiet. He suddenly falls on the ground and everyone start to laugh

I stand up and help him to stand up. He releases my hand

"Thank you." James smiles at me

"Are you okay?" I ask.

I don't like people to laugh at their own friend when they fall but I wander that is anyone from dauntless ever be friended with him

James tucker walks on the stage and he takes the knife from Jason. Jason doesn't say a word. He maybe know what Jame is going to do .

James tucker cuts his palm opens and then he looks from dauntless bowl to Candor bowl. He raises his hand above Candor bowl and the blood drops.

"Candor ."

The first transfer from dauntless. If they didn't laugh at him, will he stay or still leave? Dignity is very important for dauntless and James's dignity was offended .

"God why?" James parent start to cry.

Their son betrays them and they have to see he leaving.

"Robert black , the last one."

Robert black is from abnegation his sister just choose to stay in abnegation so there is no pressure for him.

Robert black walks on the stage and he looks at me with approval in his eyes . He cuts his palm opens and then drops it on the soil.

"Amity."

Another transfer from abnegation? Unbelievable . It is already the second one this year and I don't know how many will still be there?

"So the choosing ceremony is ended . Good luck to our new initiates of each factions." Jason claps his hand

I stand up with Abby. Abby is excited and I am so nervous .

"I saw someone."a girl beside me says." I saw your ex boyfriend Abby."

The girl points someone at the far behind. Eric is waving at Abby.

"God ! Why is he even here!" Abby covers her mouth

"I don't know but we have to go." The girl waves at us" my name is Elizabeth and this is my sister Elisa"

"Hey ." Elisa smiles at us

We start running . I don't want to look at my parent anymore because I know that they already hate me so much . We get out of the room and I am surprising to see that dauntless also are using the stair.

I wander why they are using it. Yes they are using it not for selflessness but out of wildness. That is why my dad said that they are weirdo and selfish because they only think for themselves

"Good job." A boy runs next to me." I am Zeke . This is my brother Uriah."

"Hello Zeke and Uriah. I know both of you. Your mother is the ambassador of dauntless right?" I yell

"Yeah but she is going to resign. However , she needs to find someone to go after her." Zeke shrugs

We run out of the building. When people see us, then they give us the space. Maybe this is what I want. I don't need to think about what other people want but instead I can enjoy myself.

I feel better now . I run as fast as possible. Abby even can't catch up after me .

"You are running so fast." Abby is breathless.

"I like the freedom." I scream above my lung.

We arrive beneath the train track. I see that people are climbing so I grab the handle and haul myself up.

I climb one stair by one stair . Until I reach the top, then I stop for second to rest. I stand on the platform beside Elizabeth and Elisa.

"Abby are you okay?" I want to go help her

"Don't help her. If she fails, then she fails." Hana narrows her eyes at me." You are Delia prior ."

"Yes I am ms pedrad but she is my friend" I say very firmly.

Hana looks at me with disapproval in her eyes

"Now she is your friend but when the training starts, then you will see."

Hana walks away. In the end , Abby makes it to the top.

"If you can't make it, then you are factionless" hana exclaims." So don't try to help each other or you are out as well ."

"Yes madam."

Then I hear train horn, everyone start running. I have a habit of watching dauntless arrive and leave the school so I know what to do.

I start jogging and then when I can reach the handle , I grab it and haul myself in . Finally I make it. I sit on the floor beside Elizabeth and Elisa .

"Good job." I nod at them." You guys make faster than me."

I then see Abby hang on the handle . I grab her inside the car.

"Thanks you Delia." Abby sighs with relief .

"You are welcome ." I smile

Then we hear a scream. An erudite girl is trying to reach out for a boy on the train track but train already left so that boy is factionless.

"Ouch."

The girl falls out of the train too. Her condition is worse that she is dead. I cover my mouth to stifle a sob. I cant let dauntless to hear me crying.

Crying is a sense of coward . I cant be a coward. I clinch my fist and control my emotion.

"It will be okay." Abby hugs me.

"Yeah it will be okay." A dauntless born girl with long hair mocking at us." My name is Marlene."

"Hey Marlene ."I say weakly

Then we hear someone is jumping and screaming. I stand up and look out from the train. They are jumping onto a roof . Yes we are at the dauntless compound .

"We have to jump again ." I say calmly.

"Again? God ! How many time that they have to make us do that." William rolls his eyes .

"At least one more time." I guess

Marlene looks at me . Even she doesn't speak, her eyes tell me that I am right.

"How do you know that?" William looks at me shockingly.

"We are dauntless now. How do you think that we are going to get into the compound. Let's us jump." I jump out of the train.

I landed on the floor safely. I sigh with relief . Then Abby and Elizabeth landed with their butt and Elisa too. William and Johnson make onto the roof with various way of success.

"That is fun." Elizabeth laughs.

I know that they will thrive at dauntless .

"Listen up, my name is Sam . I am your lieutenant in dauntless. If you want to become dauntless, here is the way in. If you don't have the gut to jump then you don't belong in dauntless." Sam smirks at us." Our initiates always have the the privilege of jumping first."

"Is there water or anything at the button?" Johnson asks

"You will find out or not." Sam raises his eye brows.

He has so many piercing on his eye brows and body. I just lost my counting. I look at everyone around me . They are all looking at other place.

"Me ." I step up .

"Okay , go right ahead." Sam gives me a space

I stand on the ledge and I immediately regret . It is pitch black down there but I can't back down now

"Today initiate." Sam says

I close my eyes and jump. I am picking up the speed and also do the wind. The wind is also picking up the speed beside me .

Then I hit the net, I sigh with relief .

"That can be considered as first." A voice appears

Then that man helps me off the net. I smile at him.

"Thanks." I look at him

He is max. The mafia boss of dauntless. I saw him before .

"What's your name ." Max asks

"Delia." I say firmly.

"First jumper Delia." Max announces." Welcome to dauntless."

He welcomes me and wants me to stay where I am at now . Then he goes to welcome the next person:Abby.

"That is so much fun." Abby stands beside me ."good job."

"Thanks." I smile at her

Then I see another abnegation boy comes down. I never see him ever before .

"Another stiff." Eric smirks." So brave."

"Shut up Eric ." Abby rolls her eyes at him ." Why are you even here?"

"Then why are you here Abby?" Eric asks her

We are all quiet now . I don't know why Abby is here . I just know that I choose dauntless because I want to . When everyone are all down , a younger man comes toward us

"Follow me." The man waves at us

We follow him into the compound and he leads us directly to the second floor. The second floor has a glass building at the centre of it. He opens the door to the glass building .

We line up in front of him.

"My name is Amar,I am your instructor. You will meet the leader who is going to overwatch the training tonight." Amar walks back and forth." Before dinner , we are going to do something different."

"What ?" Abby asks

"We are going to see your worst fear in order to know you better." Amar smiles .

I look at Amar . My eyes can't move away from him

"How?" Alex blinks his eyes

Amar takes out a needle . In it ,there is some orange syringe .

"This needle contains orange transmitters which will send the signal to the computer and we will see from there ." Amar pointing at his back." Who will come first."

"Me." I raise my hand

Amar asks me to follow him into the room. He closes the door behind me.

"Why are you so tensed with me?" Amar walks toward the table

"I am always tensed with man" I explain.

"However I did not see that you were nervous with max." Amar giggles

I don't know how to explain this. Amar doesn't say anything

"Just come , I am not going to hurt you or what ." Amar sighs.

I walk toward him and he inserts me with the needles
