Since i and Abby become best friends again, I return back to the dorm. However what i am worried is that max is also going after Abby. Abby now is standing between max and Amar . Amar is an instructor and max is mafia boss of dauntless
If Abby really just seeking protection, then she doesn't need to choose Amar. Many people just misunderstand her.
"Alan we maybe misunderstand about Abby." I sit in Alan's office
"Really! I don't think so . Her mother is a third person so she maybe the same as well."Alan shrugs
"Just think this way, if she is really just seeking for protection , then she can choose max. Max is a mafia boss and Amar is just an instructor." I sip on the tea." She chooses Amar for some reason."
Alan stops what he is working for . He wraps me in his arms
"Maybe she is just pretending but I figure out that erudite already is suspecting Amar of something." Alan sighs with disbelief." I don't know how to protect him. If we move him away , erudite may confirm with their guess more . However if he stays here, erudite will come find him."
"What are they suspecting for ?" I blink at him
"He is divergent. Delia please be honest with me." Alan grabs my arms." What was your testing result."
I lower my head. Tori told me not to tell anyone about it.
"Abnegation, that must be what written in the system" I say .
"However that was verbally reported . Delia be honest with me please."Alan is crying
"Tori told me that my result was." I look around." Was inconclusive."
Alan's face is pale. I know that he knows what that means
"I guess that is right because divergence can be inherited . Your mother was 100percent divergent but no one will suspect leadership. Now it is fine for you but when you get to second stage and third stage , that is when you have to be careful." Alan grabs my face
"I know that Alan but I don't know can I make it to second stage or not." I shake my head
"Of course you can do it Delia. I will be here to watch the training again. Staying at the fence is difficult for me and Amar. Amar needs an assistant ." Alan kisses my forehead." And also I have to watch out for erudite . I can't lose him."
I know that Alan really likes Amar. They are best friends since initiate class
"You and Amar are very good friends" I smile at him
"He was my initiates and I was his instructor."
Alan Davis pov
Yes she is divergent. Any results that come back inconclusive is divergent. I have to go talk to tori. I look at my watch
"You have to go back to sleep now . I will have to go meet someone." I kiss her forehead." I promise you just someone that I am friends with ."
"I know Alan. Good night." She makes a ghost face at me." I will see you tomorrow."
She is so cute. After she leaves around 10minutes, I get up and sneak out of my office. I run toward upstair . When I get to the tattoo store, Tori is just wrapping up something.
"I am done with my work today Alan ." Tori shakes her head
"I have to talk to you something." I say strictly." Go to my office with me now."
"Fine , just wait me for two minute." Tori rolls her eyes
She packs up everything and follow me downstair to my office
"What do you need from me." Tori sits down .
I sit down beside her but keep some distance
"What is the situation happen in Delia's simulation tori. I have to know it. She is my girlfriend and I will never hurt her" I look at her seriously.
"Alan I can't tell you. She is a very dangerous person." Tori shakes her head
"Please tori I am begging you. That will be able to let me protect her okay? I can't lose her." I am crying." Erudite already suspecting Amar . I can't let them suspecting delia please tori."
Tori is silent for a minute. It is first time that I ever begged her
"In the first simulation, she doesn't choose either cheese or knife which confused me . Then she uses the knowledge of the dog to get over it which tell me that she is clever . Then she saved the girl, which tell me that she is brave and selfless at the same time.however when she was on the bus, even the man told her that if she can tell him about the murder , then he will survive. She didn't tell him. It can be a truth or a lie." Tori looks at me."so what do you want to do."
"Thanks for telling me those. That's enough." I stand up." I will have my own way ."
"Jeanine will find her." Tori says coldly
I know that they will look at everyone's result but I know how to get access to it. I sit in front of computer and type some series of number . I get into system
"You can get into the system?"
My pov
The second day when I wake up, it is time to get breakfast. I sneak out of the dorm and walk toward cafeteria alone. On the way, I hit someone on their chest.
"I am sorry sir." I lift my chin. I don't know this man
"I am Jeremy . One of the leader of dauntless. It's okay. Are you fine?" Jeremy checks me out
"I am okay sir . Nice to meet you." I nod at him
He walks with me toward cafeteria and when I am about to go in, he stops me.
"Please try one piece of chocolate cake for me . It is the best one." Jeremy smiles at me
I enter the cafeteria. Alan is eating breakfast already
"Who was you talking to?" Alan asks
"I was talking to Jeremy. I hit him by accident and he walked me to cafeteria ." I shrug
"The leader Jeremy? " Alan looks at me
I nod at him. Suddenly I see a sense of jealousy from his eyes. Why is he jealous? I and Jeremy had nothing to do with each other .
"Breakfast" Alan hands me a sandwich.
Someone brings the chocolate cake. I poke one piece with my spoon and deliver in my mouth.
"He is right. It is the best." I say
"Jeremy said that? Fine." Alan stands up and leaves
I know that he isn't happy. I stand up and chase after him
"Alan! You misunderstand that." I grab his arm
"What am I misunderstanding Delia? You listen to him fine. Go right ahead." Alan smirks at me
"I am sorry . I just……" I start crying
Alan comes to hug me . He grabs my hand and brings to a dark corner. He pushes me against the wall and kisses me
"I am jealous . That's all Delia, I will not leave you." Alan kisses my lips hard and slowly going on my neck.
I moan so loud. I cover my mouth to stop moaning. Neck is my sensitive spot
"Alan, I only love you. However, Jeremy is the leader and he asked me to do that I have to follow ."I nudge him
"Fine, I understand now" Alan kisses my forehead." You still have to eat something."
I go back to cafeteria and start to eat again. Abby and other initiates are already there again
"Hey Delia" zeke wave at me.
"Hey Zeke, come here and sits with us." I smile at him
Zeke comes toward me and sits down with me and also Uriah is beside him
"Hey Uriah how is the school going?" I look at Uriah
"Good." Uriah nods at me." Your sisters are so naughty."
Alan Davis pov
It is time to teach them how to throw knife. I stand beside Amar. Amar is teaching them how to throw . Delia is looking so focused at him. She is nervous . I want to assure her that she will be okay but I don't know what to say.
Then Amar claps his hand
"You can practice it now ." Amar says." Today afternoon will be your last fight."
"Sure." Everyone say.
Delia walks in front of the target. She picks up one knife and throws . She is the first one to hit the middle of the target and stays there
"Good job." I clap my hand.
"Thank you." She says
I walk behind her and she flinched a little.
"Are you scared that I am here?" I smirk at her
"I am worried that I will hurt you." Delia looks at me
"You will not. I know that you will not hurt me baby." I laugh
Then I see that William is having hard time throwing the knife .
"That's sympathetic ."I smirk.
"I am sorry. I just can't make it." William says in a lower voice
"It's okay Alan. I can teach him." Delia walks toward William
I am staring at her. Her hand is on his waist and other one is on his arm.
"You have to aim directly at the middle and then bent your elbow then throw upward not downward okay?" Delia is very patient.
"Sure Delia, however I feel someone is staring at us ." William is shivering.
"Ignores him, if he bullies you, I have a solution." Delia laughs
William then also can throw the knife at the middle after Delia teaches him. I am unhappy.
"Very good girl." Jeremy comes toward us." Very helpful."
"Thank you Jeremy." Delia seems happy.
She continues to practice it. I look at Jeremy
"She is mine." I clinch my teeth
"Not necessary to be your wife Alan. Don't forget that I am your leader ." Jeremy pushes me.
"However she only loves me ." I stand up and grabs his collar."I will never yield her to you."
Then Delia finishes the training. I follow her to cafeteria
"Why are you treating William like that?" Delia is unhappy
"I was just warning him that if he doesn't do good, then he will be out ." I shrug
"However give a good attitude okay? " Delia says
I nod at her. Maybe I should change my attitude already
"I will try my best." I lower my head
"Thanks honey." Delia kisses me .
