The weekend had come to an end and the young pups would all have to attend their school once again. Bluey was still thinking about the conversation she had with Judo in their backyard, she wondered if some of the others who had not turned on her did so out of fear, a thought that had made her a little sad. The next day, Bluey got out of the Heeler car and walked towards her classroom, some of the same students that went against her with everything they had were once again greeting her with warm and friendly smiles. She was caught off guard by a hug from behind "Hi Bluey!" Coco had greeted her in a very friendly manner. Bluey smiled while Coco hugged her "Hey there" she responded. The poodle looked at her friend and rubbed the back of her neck "You're not mad at me about…everything are you?" Bluey shook her head "I was never mad Coco, I just wanted everyone to be my friends again." Coco nodded and chuckled sheepishly "I feel really terrible, about making you cry and all" Bluey gave her a light smile and put a hand on her shoulder "Let's just forget it and move on" Coco had agreed. Honey had walked up to the two from behind "What a nice morning to be walking with friends" Coco heard Honey and immediately got chills down her spine "Um…yeah, friends" Coco had remembered the conversation she had with Honey the other day and noted how something felt off about the beagle. Honey had smirked at Coco "You know, it's times like these where I wonder things about our friends" Bluey looked at Honey "You wonder things about our friends? Like what?" Honey smiled at Bluey "Oh you know, what did Indy eat for breakfast, you know how her mum gets about their food. Has Jack and Rusty ever rode to school together? They are best friends" Her eyes darted to the side as she looked at Coco "I really wonder how Mackenzie spends his time in the morning too" the emphasis on Mackenzie's name caught both Bluey and Coco's attention but really made Bluey a bit confused "Well you could just ask them, can't you?" Honey nodded "You're right, but one time Coco said the same thing about Mackenzie before" Coco's eyes widened at Honey mentioning this. Bluey raised her eyebrow as she looked at the poodle "You could…just ask him" Honey laughed at the thought "Oh Bluey don't you get it? Coco-" "Bluey! You left your jumper in the car!" Bandit shouted as he ran to his daughter and handed her a sweater "Try to remember it next time kid" he gave her a smile. Bluey smiled back "Thanks dad, see ya after school" Bandit waved and ran back to the car. Bluey had turned back to Honey while she was setting the sweater in her backpack "What were you saying Honey?" Coco gave Honey a pleading look before Honey rolled her eyes "Oh um…I forget" she gave Bluey an innocent smile. Bluey smiled back at her, a bit confused but completely understanding "Alright then, maybe you'll remember later?" Bluey waved at Calypso and walked into her class. Honey glared at Coco and gave her another unsettling look "Yeah, maybe I will" Coco gulped, to her, Honey was behaving very strange.
Once inside bluey would sit between Rusty and Indy, Coco went to join her until she felt Honey's hand grab her and pull her towards Honey. Coco had expected the same friendly look on Honey's face but she was greeted by a very angry expression "I-is something wrong Honey?" "Is something wrong Honey?" Honey had mocked Coco before rolling her eyes again "Yes something is wrong, we had a good thing going and you threw it all away" Coco was confused "What are you talking about?" Honey gripped Coco's arm "You were against Bluey just like me, and she sheds a few tears and you want to be all buddy buddy with her again?" Coco tried pulling her arm away, but it was of no use"I was willing to be with you even if nobody else was, Coco. You called Indy your best friend but what did she do? She sided with a killer and rejected what you wanted" Coco noticed Honey's grip on her arm tightening "Because we were wrong to treat her like that, she made a mistake" Honey remained silent as if she wasn't able to understand the language that was coming out of Coco's mouth. Coincidentally, the weather outside was slowly becoming worse with each second, the wind grew stronger and the sky had darkened. "Looks like a storm is brewing" Calypso spoke as she counted the students in her class, everyone was present and Calypso had closed the door. "Honey, you're scaring me" Honey gave Coco an intense glare and spoke calmly "Remember Poodle, I know at least one of your secrets" While the secret was just her simple crush on Mackenzie, it was a big deal to both of the young pups "Reject Bluey…or reject me?" Coco managed to pull her arm away "Why can't you just be her friend like the rest of us?" Honey's pupils shrank as she clenched her fists "BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO! I DON'T NEED A REASON!" The moment Honey had finished her statement, lightning struck outside and a loud roar of thunder followed, frightening the poor students. Calypso walked over to the duo "Honey? Coco? What's going on here?" she was confused by Honey's aggressive nature. Honey turned towards her teacher and gave her a false smile "Just having a…discussion with Coco here Calypso" Calypso walked away slowly but kept an eye on them "Alright, but please try to find a way to get along" Coco tried to follow after Calypso but was grabbed once again by Honey, who now had her by the tail "I said choose, Coco" Coco sighed at her ultimatum "If…If I can't be with Indy…then-" she slowly raised her finger to Honey "Then I reject you, Honey" Honey was a bit surprised, but mostly disappointed and upset "If you think some secret about who I like is going to make me stay with you, then tell the whole world, and tell them that you're being a bully. But I miss playing with Indy, and I don't want to make her upset anymore" Honey had let go of Coco's tail and looked to the ground. "You're not even do it for Bluey, you're doing it for Indy" Without saying another word, Coco walked over to the other students then gave Indy a hug, who would hug her back. Another bolt of lightning would strike outside and seemingly knock the power to the school out, darkening the classroom and causing the students to scream from the sudden darkness, and the very loud thunder. The main sound that anyone could hear would be the heavy rain from outside.
Honey sat in the corner of the room by herself where she began to play with toys of animals that were mostly predators the main four were a lion and three tigers "If only I could be like you" she spoke to the toy tiger in her hand "Maybe then I wouldn't have to deal with such bull-" "Honey, are you sure you're okay?" Calypso had walked over to Honey who looked up and gave her another smile "Oh I'm fine Calypso, thanks for asking" Calypso looked at the tiger in her hand "Any reason why you want the tiger?" Honey's false smile had turned into a genuine one as she adjusted the glasses on her face "Oh, that's easy!" She pulled the tiger in her lap and looked at Calypso "Tigers are usually solitary animals. They mainly interact with their own cubs and they can be territorial if they need to!" Calypso smiled and nodded "Such a smart girl" Honey's tail wagged at the praise "I watch a lot of animal documentaries on the telly at home" Calypso looked to see that there were a few other predatory animals among the tigers "Are they the tiger's friends?" Honey shook her head "No, they are gonna fight to the death, if the tiger is mauled then her cubs will be killed by the lion!" Calypso's eyes widened, that was highly unexpected from anyone her age "Er…are you sure the lion isn't a part of their family? Ligers and tigons exist, you know?" Honey shook her head again "This tiger doesn't like when other cats try to make abominations like that" Calypso was shocked by what she was hearing "Um Honey…abominations don't exist in nature" Honey looked confused at Calypso's words "But my mum and dad said they do, they said things like wolves and dogs shouldnt have kids together and that their kids were abominations, wouldn't it be the same thing for cats like lions and tigers too?" This way of thinking had deeply upset Calypso, but there was nothing she could do to help the young girl "I'm not sure but I think that maybe we should try to give others a chance so that we could all get along better?" Honey simply turned away from the teacher, refusing to listen to any more of her words. Calypso had felt hurt by Honey's actions but she was also deeply disappointed in Honey's parents and the fact that they seemed to be teaching their daughter the wrong things about life. With nothing more to say, Calypso would return to her chair silently.
After Coco and Indy broke their hug they sat down next to each other "What's wrong with Honey?" Coco gave Honey a quick glance as she saw her talking to Calypso "I really don't know, she just seems angry about something" Indy grabbed a baby doll and shrugged "Odd" she had rocked the doll back and forth, as if it was an actual baby "Oh, don't cry Polly. I'm sure the power will be back at some point" Coco had smiled at the pretend mother and daughter "Ah yes, she's your early baby right? Sorry I didn't have a gift for her" she held up her own doll that was similar to the one that Indy held. Indy smiled at Coco's baby "Oh did Honey give you a wet flannel too?" Coco's eyes widened "Honey?!" She turned her head to where Honey was, Honey had a silent, creepy stare fixated on the group after Calypso had walked away from her. "Um, no I…I didn't need one" Indy giggled then looked at Coco's doll "Rusty is Polly's dad, so, who's your little one's dad?" Coco thought about it for a second "It's Mackenzie!" "What?" Bluey asked, having overheard the conversation "WHAT?! No I'm not!" Mackenzie exclaimed, also having overheard. Coco fake sobbed "Oh no, my husband doesn't want to take care of our child" Mackenzie raised an eyebrow "But I'm not the dad! And I'm not Coco's husband!" Rusty had nudged Jack's shoulder and smirked "That's alright mate, maybe Jack or I could do your job for you" Jack giggled "Well you have Indy so maybe I can have Coco?" Jack asked. Mackenzie groaned "Can you believe this Bluey?" Bluey shook her head "No I can't believe it" Mackenzie let out a sigh of relief, but unfortunately for him, Bluey continued "I can't believe you wont take care of you and Coco's child!" Mackenzie's eyes shot wide open "WHAT? YOU TOO?!" The other students had burst into laughter at Mackenzie's reaction, much to his chagrin. While the whole thing had made Coco feel a bit better, the whole ordeal with Honey was still making her feel unnerved.
An hour had passed but the power still had not returned to the building, the winds howled and the rain would continue to hit the building from all angles. Coco was eating an apple when Winton had walked past her "Psst Winton" she called to him. Winton looked back at her "Huh?" Coco had moved closer to Winton "Hey, Winton has Honey said anything to you?" Winto looked at her a bit confused "I don't think she's said anything to anyone, why?" He looked in the corner to see Honey talking to the predatory animals. "Something is very wrong with her" Coco responded. Winton smiled at Coco "I can go talk to her if you'd like" Winton had begun to walk towards Honey but was stopped by what was Coco practically throwing herself to stop Winton "Please…don't do that" Winton raised an eyebrow "But why? Don't you want to know what's wrong?" Coco slowly shook her head "She's been scaring me lately" Winton laughed "You know you kinda scared me when you wanted to play wild girls with Indy. Coco nodded "I know, but you knew that was a game, I mean Honey is really really making me worried" Winton quickly looked at Hone, then back at Coco "Have you tried telling her about it?" Coco nodded again "I really did but it's like she doesn't want to listen, and I think she's going crazy" Winton shook his head "Don't be ridiculous, I'll go talk to her for you" "Winton please!" Coco stopped him again. "Just…drop it, and if she asks you about me please don't tell her what I said, pleeeease!" Winton nodded "Alright, I won't say a thing" Coco squinted and looked closer at him "You promise?" Winton smiled "I promise, I'm a loyal breed"
After a few minutes Honey had finally stood up, she walked over to Pretzel who was pretending to be a fisherman once again "Hello Pretzel" Pretzel turned and gave Honey a quick look "Hola Honey, welcome to my boat" Honey smiled at him "Thanks" she sat on the area that pretzel was calling a boat "Mind if I ask a question?" Pretzel nodded "Sure, but try not to be too loud, you might scare the fish away" Honey watched him pretend to use the stick he had as a fishing rod "Would you say that fishing is hunting?" Pretzel froze for a second at the question and slowly turned towards her "That's…that's exactly what fishing is…" Honey shook her head "Well some people say that it's just a sport" Pretzel rolled his eyes "They don't know what they're talking about, fish are food and with the weather like this-" He pointed outside the window to where the storm continued to rage on "The fish become more lively" Honey continued to watch Pretzel use the stick as a fishing rod "Well as a hunter yourself, would you say that only the strong survive?" Pretzel shook his head "Be strong all you want, you won't survive if you fall in the water and a barra or a school of piranhas get ya" Honey nodded and would ask him another question "I know you cook the fish, but do you ever wonder what their blood tastes like?" The question made Pretzel confused and a bit worried, almost causing him to break character "Uh no…my grandpa says blood isn't clean and if you drink it you might go crazy" Honey frowned "Well what about that one hunter on the telly, the one that likes when the animals he catches gets their blood all over him?" Pretzel would slowly move the reel and put a orange block-like toy on the boat "I don't know who you're talking about, but he doesn't sound healthy" Honey rolled her eyes "Sometimes he kisses the animal to get a taste of them, then he kills them and he says their blood makes him happy because then he knows that his job is done" She smiled and sighed at the thought "He's a true hunter" Pretzel was a bit annoyed at what Honey had considered to be a true hunter "True hunter? I'm sure the dog is completely and utterly loco, mi amiga" Honey stood up, seemingly offended by his words "I'm not your amiga" she took the small orange block and tossed it into the area that would be water "And I hope you only catch baby sardines" she walked away from the chihuahua. Pretzel just sat in the boat with a sad look on his face "I don't even like sardines" he would mutter under his breath.
Due to it being dark in the room Calypso walked over to the students "All right everyone, since it's still raining outside we'll have to use the bathrooms in the hall, so line up if you need to go" Calypso pulled out a keychain while some of the students lined up. Soon enough, only Bluey and Coco remained seated with the toys and Calypso would speak to them "If you need to go let me know, but please don't leave the classroom" Both girls nodded as their classmates followed their teacher into a hallway. Bluey had looked up at Coco, her curiosity about the dolls getting the best of her "Hey, Coco?" Coco looked at Bluey "Yeah Bluey?" Bluey looked behind her to see if anyone was still there then turned back to Coco once she saw that everyone else was gone "Do you like Mackenzie?" Coco nodded "I like all my friends, he's fun like you" Bluey shook her head "That's not what I mean. What I mean is, do you like like Mackenzie?" Coco blushed having realized what Bluey meant "W-why do you ask that?" Bluey played with they toys in front of her "Well this is the second time you said he's your husband" Coco was not sure of what Bluey was referring to "Second time?" Bluey nodded "Yeah, remember when we played circus? You called him your husband back then too but he didn't want to be your husband and I told you that I couldn't make him" Coco suddenly remembered the details of that day "Oh your right, this is the second time" Coco shrugged and went back to her toys. Bluey cleared her throat "Well?" "Well, what?" Coco asked Bluey. Bluey smiled "Do you like Mackenzie? You can tell me" Coco sighed "Yes, I think he's cute" Bluey giggled at the thought "Have you told anyone else?" Coco shook her head "No, but Honey figured it out" Bluey stopped and looked at Coco "Wait, did she really?" "Yeah, maybe I talk about him too much" Coco smiled, then she looked at Bluey "My turn!" Bluey was a bit confused "Wait your turn for what?" Coco smirked "You asked me a question and I answered, now I ask you a turn and you answer" Bluey nodded "Yeah, right, that's fair" Coco hummed to herself for a few seconds until a question came to her "So Bluey, do you have a crush on anyone?" Bluey wasn't surprised by the question as it seemed to be the most obvious "Oh that's easy, I guess you could say I do" Bluey turned her head and smiled. "Oh! Who is it?!" Coco was excited to find out who Bluey had feelings for. Bluey remained quiet and played with the toys in front of her, humming an all too familiar theme. "Bluey?" Coco called her "Yes Coco?" Bluey asked, a bit amused. "Who do you have a crush on?" Coco asked with her eyebrow raised. Bluey giggled again "Hey, you asked if I had a crush on someone, and I answered it. So I answered the question you had" Coco's eyes widened as she realized Bluey was right, she then moved closer to Bluey "Fine ask me another question! Anything at all!" Coco did her best to put on a please face as her desperation to know was getting the best of her.
Normally, Bluey would turn down Coco's request but, there she had her own question that was nagging away at her "I'll tell you, but you need to be completely honest with my question, and you need to promise that you won't be angry with my answer" Coco nodded "I promise Bluey! Honest!" Bluey sighed to calm herself then she looked Coco in the eyes "Coco, after everything that's happened and knowing what I've done, are you afraid of me?" Coco's smile faded as she realized that Bluey was being completely serious "Bluey…" she stayed quiet for a few seconds "I said I'll be honest so, at first I was scared of you…very scared, I think we all were" Bluey looked away for a bit "But I stopped feeling scared when I really realized that you were scared more than any of us, and I'm really sorry for how I treated you" she put her hand on Bluey's to comfort her. Bluey smiled softly at her "It's a bit odd to admit it now but…it's Mackenzie" "What?" Coco had wondered why Bluey mentioned him. "You asked me who I had a crush on" She knew that this would be awkward since they were both crushing on the same boy "And just like you, I like Mackenzie" Coco's jaw nearly dropped to the floor "You mean you like Mackenzie?" "You mean Bluey might actually marry Mackenzie?" Winton was standing at the door, he had a look on his face that was equivalent to a child receiving a pleasant surprise on their birthday. Both girls jumped and turned towards Winton "Winton! Hasn't anyone told you that it is rude to listen in on someone's conversation?!" Coco asked with a bright blush on her face. Winton shrugged "I'm sorry, but with the lights off and everyone else at the dunny, it's quiet in here and very easy to hear you" Bluey grabbed the english bulldog "You tell nobody!" Winton laughed as both girls looked at him with flustered looks on their faces "No worries" he had a smug look on his face. Bluey was a bit upset that he had been eavesdropping but she knew that Winton was a kind dog that always kept his word.
The students returned to the dark classroom having finished their restroom break. They all returned to the areas where they had been before and resumed playing with the toys laid out before them. Bluey smiled at Coco then looked at Mackenzie "You were gone so long, you had your wife worried!" Bluey pointed at Coco, who was surprised by Bluey's actions but welcomed them "Now help me raise our child" Mackenzie's eyes widened "Not again!" he exclaimed as he quickly hid behind Jack, who could only laugh at the situation "Having trouble with the missus?" Mackenzie looked at Jack "Quiet, you" the group laughed together again then Coco leaned forward and whispered in Bluey's ear "Thanks for that" Bluey whispered back "Thanks for what?" Coco smiled and whispered again "Saying he's my husband" Bluey nodded "For now at least Coco" Bluey smirked at her. Chloe sat next to Bluey and grabbed a princess toy "Bluey, think I'd be able to come over to your house later?" Bluey smiled and nodded at her "Sure if your parents allow it" Coco watched the two of them and remembered the last time she was at Bluey's house "Do you think I can come over too?" The question surprised Chloe "Are you sure you want to go to Bluey's?" Coco nodded "If not today, maybe the weekend?" she suggested Bluey nodded "Sure! If you come on the weekend, maybe we could have a sleepover!" The idea excited both Chloe and Coco.
Honey had walked into the classroom following Calypso and Bluey turned and faced the Beagle "Hey Honey! Think you can come over to my house for a sleepover on the weekend?" Coco was unnerved by Bluey asking Honey the question. "No Bluey, I don't think I will" Bluey tilted her head "Well, maybe some other time?" Coco reached towards Bluey "Bluey, I don't think-" before she could finish speaking Honey interrupted her "No, I don't think that I'd ever be going to your house again" Bluey's smile had vanished "But…why not Honey?" Honey had lost her patience and dropped her nice act towards Bluey, then she pulled her glasses off slowly and turned towards Bluey "Because I don't like you, I don't trust you, I really don't see why anyone would still want to be your friend, and I think you should leave me alone" all of the dogs in the classroom had gasped at what Honey had said. Each word that came out of her mouth had felt like she had cut Bluey with a knife, she spoke weakly "You…you used to enjoy coming over to my house" Honey smirked at Bluey "Yeah, that was before you killed your own sister, when I still thought that you were harmless" Bluey's ears had drooped. Mackenzie growled at her "Don't you think you've gone way too far with this? Move on already!" Honey turned her smile towards Mackenzie "You know I may wear glasses, but you need them more" "Huh?" Mackenzie was confused "You're too blind to see that Bluey can snap at any moment, and when she does she'll hurt others, kill others, but dumb people like you think that she doesn't deserve to get arrested" Coco stood up "You can be mad all you want but that doesn't give you the right to call him dumb! You're being dumb over something that Bluey never meant to do! Stop being dumb!" Calypso tried to calm everyone down "Nobody here is dumb now-" Honey walked closer to Coco "Oh I'm being dumb?" she gave Mackenzie a quick glance before looking back at Coco "Then how come I was the only one smart enough to figure out on my own that you have a huge crush on Mackenzie?" Mackenzie's eyes widened "WHAT?! No she doesn't, right Coco?" he waited for her to respond, but was growing slightly more convinced with each second that she remained silent "Coco?" Rusty had tried to get Mackenzie's attention away from them "Why don't we play-" before he could finish, everyone had seen Coco throw a punch at Honey, knocking Honey to the ground and shocking everyone. "Coco!" Calypso had gasped "We do not turn to violence when we get angry!" Honey was stunned at Coco's actions, nobody had ever hit her in their lives, not ever her own parents. However instead of cry like everyone had expected, Honey had laughed then she sat up "I hope you remember that Coco, I really, really hope you do" Calypso walked over to Honey "Are you alright dear?" Honey had nodded "I'm fine, but I don't think they are" she pointed at Coco and Bluey. "Actually, I don't think any of them are fine!" Rusty walked over to Honey and tried calming her down "Is there something you don't want to tell us, I mean what she did was very serious but that's no reason for you to be mean" Honey groaned "Have any of you ever figured that maybe I don't want to forgive her? That I don't want to be her friend? Now leave me alone" Honey stormed away from the group and returned to the corner she had been sitting in before. Bluey sighed "Just ignore her Bluey, some people are just very stubborn" Indy spoke trying to console her "Yeah like my dad when I try playing some games with him" Chloe added.
The rain had let up a little and the lightning had faded into the distance, however the classroom remained dark. In the darkness the terriers had managed to fall asleep despite all of Honey's aggression, most of the kids had stopped playing with the toys and had grown bored. "Got any threes?" Winton asked "Threes? I thought we were playing Uno?" Snickers asked confused "Uno? I thought we were playing Cards against Dogkind!" Pretzel said even more confused than Snickers. It wasn't very easy to see the cards in front of them with them only using the light from the window, which wasn't very great to begin with due to the dark clouds outside. Jack looked at Coco, he was half afraid to ask but he was also a little confident since he wasn't on her bad side "Coco, is what Honey said true? Do you really have a crush on Mackenzie?" "Come on now mate, with a punch like that it's gotta be!" Rusty told him. Bluey would have confirmed for Coco but she knew it would be wrong, besides Coco would probably tell them that she too had a crush on the border collie and make things more awkward than they already were she then decided to stay quiet and give Coco a warm smile "It's alright Coco, maybe Honey was lying and you don't have a crush?" Coco smiled at Bluey, she appreciated her efforts to downplay the situation "Nah, she's right I…" She looked over at Mackenzie who had a curious expression on his face "I do like you Mackenzie, I really like you" In the back of his mind, he panicked a little. He could only see Coco as a friend but when he thought about her actions when they played together before, it made sense to him "I'm not sure how to feel about that" he spoke as a blush formed across his cheeks. Bluey had hoped that Mackenzie would reject him then and there but Coco had just recently become her friend again, she was also unaware of how Mackenzie felt about her in return. The only people who knew how Bluey truly felt were Coco, who had just confessed, and Judo, who didn't even go to the same school as any of them and only seen Mackenzie maybe once or twice. Coco accepted that he was unsure at the moment and just smiled "It's fine, but one day I will go after you" she smirked and gave him a wink. He simply shuddered in response and returned to the toys that he and his friends had abandoned minutes ago.
Honey glared at everyone from her corner, she claimed that her reason was just because Bluey was a murderer, but was that the whole truth? While Marcus and Daisy seemed like normal decent dogs to anyone in public, they were very judgemental and prejudiced against many other people which unfortunately would rub off onto their young, impressionable daughter. She grew up in a household that caused her to believe that if anyone had done the smallest of mistakes that were to be considered a crime then the offender should face time in prison, and because Bluey had not face any legal punishment for her murder of Bingo, seeing her be able to live her life normally was beyond infuriating. Honey also had a hard time understanding why everyone else seemed perfectly fine among a murderer and why they so easily forgave something that could not be undone. With Honey being the only one that felt this way, the idea to have Bluey isolated from the others had backfired horribly as now she was all alone and Bluey was the one that was surrounded by friends, she was even more angry at the fact that despite the fact that Bluey's team had lost the bet they still chose to stay with her. All of the combined had led to Honey becoming violent in every way except physically, this would even lead her to find enjoyment in the idea of becoming a hunter - a job that gained respect and earned a lot of money. One other concerning fact that she was not yet aware of was that she had developed an enjoyment from the taste of blood, her own for now, but it would eventually lead her down a much more vicious path in her future.
Hours would pass yet with the power knocked out and storm slowly dying out, the day would feel incredibly slow for the energetic kids, even Calypso struggled with finding a game that they could play indoors. The sounds of the wind and rain would lull yet another pup to sleep at times, leaving their friends to wake them up. Fortunately this wouldn't be a complete waste of time as they all decided to sit around in a circle and play a game of duck, duck, goose. Chloe was walking around the circle and lightly tapping everyone's heads "duck…duck…duck…duck…" She would then slow down a bit and tap on Adam's head "Goose!" She then proceeded to sprint around the circle while Adam chased after her in an attempt to tag her, he would come close but Chloe would quickly take the space between his two brothers "Aww man…" Adam said disappointedly, Joe and Dan would laugh "Gotta be quicker than that mate!" Joe stated. Adam would then walk around the circle just like Chloe did earlier "duck…duck…duck…duck…" he walked behind Coco and reached for her "Duuu-Goose!" he tapped her and proceeded to run alongside the circle "Come back here!" Coco yelled as she giggled trying to tag him, she had better reach since her legs were longer, she came very close to tagging him and she would have, if only he didn't jump and land right in her spot in the circle "Huh?" Coco was surprised but impressed with Adam's decision "That's for using a terrier as a dodgeball shield!" He smirked and stuck his tongue out at her "Yeah!" both of his brothers chimed in, having not forgotten the events of that day. The others all giggled while Coco smiled then looked around at the group then began to walk in the same pattern "Duck…duck" "I really hope she doesn't tag me" Mackenzie thought to himself, he still felt a bit awkward and uneasy about his new discovery. "Goose!" Coco yelled, Mackenzie didn't feel a tap on his head, was whoever tapped next to Mackenzie? Nope, Coco tagged Indy who was on the opposite side of the circle. Mackenzie let out a sigh of relief then gasped once again as Indy managed to tag Coco "Gotcha!" Indy exclaimed as she returned to her spot in the circle "Drat!" he was sure Coco would probably pick him or someone next to him this time. "Goose!" Coco called again. Bluey stared in the corner opposite of where Honey had sat, she seemed troubled but Calypso decided to leave her be to avoid possibly upsetting her. Mackenzie looked to see Coco had tapped Snickers, who was in between Indy and Pretzel. He was surprised "Maybe I shouldn't be like that" he thought to himself. Coco took Mackenzie's seat and smiled at Indy as her tail wagged quickly.
The dogs would continue to enjoy their game but as everyone knows, time flies when you're having fun, as usual the parents would arrive to pick up their kids. "Bluey, your mum is here!" Calypso had informed Bluey. Bluey had waved to her friends before walking past Chilli with a sad look on her face, Chilli had opened her umbrella for Bluey to walk under but Bluey would just walk in the rain to the car, making Chilli concerned. Once the two had got into the car Chilli looked at Bluey through the rearview mirror "What's wrong sweetheart?" Bluey looked at her mother "It's Honey mum, everyone else is being friends with me again but she won't. She said that I would hurt and kill others. She does not want to give me a chance and she has been very mean about it" This had upset Chilli greatly and once she saw Daisy at the entrance to the classroom, she decided to use this opportunity "I need to have a talk with Honey's mum, stay in the car" she lowered the rear window enough for fresh air to blow in. Upon approaching the beagle mother Chilli tapped her shoulder "Daisy, can I talk to you for a second?" Daisy didn't want to talk to Chilli but knew that she couldn't be avoided "Fine Chilli, how can I help you?" Chilli had to compose herself before she spoke "Right, do you think you could talk to Honey about how she's been treating Bluey? Bluey said that Honey is treating her like she's going to kill someone else and considering that it was Bingo, Bluey's sister I don't think that's fair one bit" Daisy looked back at her daughter, who had gave her a nonchalant shrug then she turned back towards Chilli "Yeah I don't think so" Chilli reasonably raised her eyebrow at the statement "What? And why not?" Daisy scoffed "Because she isn't wrong, your child is a threat to others and I can not see why she has not been punished" Chilli had quickly become irked by what Daisy was saying "So what you're saying is, Bluey losing her only sister, her only sibling wasn't enough punishment for her?" Daisy shook her head "No it wasn't people need to learn from a young age that crimes are punished severely no matter who the victim is and whether it was accidental or not. Maybe you should try being a good mother for once dear" Chilli's rage had reached a boiling point, she was ready to go against what she taught Bluey when it came to unicorse and how to deal with those types of situations.
Before Chilli could say a word, another voice spoke to Daisy "Are you done being a judgemental cunt yet Daisy? Or are you still going to badmouth the same lady who lost one of her own children? If so, that's just very low" Chilli, Daisy, and Honey turned to see Bella walking with Coco. Daisy rolled her eyes at the poodle "You think you're any better? Calypso told me how your brute of a child punched Honey" Bella smirked at Daisy "Yeah I know, and your little squirt deserved it, seems like all you ever taught her to do was blab her mouth to others" Daisy scoffed once again, this time at Bella "It's better to do that than to do whatever it is you do, but I guess it isn't easy when you have 8 other brutes to look after?" Bella had become more irritated but she knew that it wouldn't look good for anyone, she just wanted Daisy to shut up and leave her and Chilli alone "Ah why don't you sod off and go get rooted somewhere ya pain in the neck pommie?" Both Chilli and Daisy stared at Bella with wide eyes as the comment was unexpected. Daisy tried to find the words but just walked away with Honey underneath an umbrella. Bella turned towards Chilli "You right Chilli?" Chilli took a second to process what Bella "Sweet as, Bella but my word I never knew you had such a mouth" Bella laughed at the comment "The hubby and I get in a few squabbles every now and then, but I know how to make him shush" she looked over at Coco as she spoke to Chilli "Ignore what Daisy was saying, you're still doing a great job at being a mum" Chilli sniffled "Thanks love, I wasn't so sure I was doing the right thing anymore after…we lost Bingo" Bella was saddened as she thought about the departed young red heeler "It's tough but the best thing to do is to be there for Bluey" Chilli nodded "I know, Bandit and I have made her happiness our priority and we do our best for her" Bella smiled at her friend "When you're doing all you can do, then that makes it all worth it" The two shared a hug before they would each head towards their own cars.
Bluey would look at her mother with a hopeful expression and waited for her to enter the car "Mum? Did you talk to Honey's mum? Can we play together?" Chilli started the car and sighed "I tried but I'm afraid that she and her mum don't want you around them anymore" Bluey groaned "But I really tried to be a good dog again" Chilli smiled at her "You are a good dog sweetheart, some people just don't want to see that" Bluey was confused "Why would they not want to see it?" she asked. Chilli shrugged as she began to drive "Not sure, but you can't let those kinds of people keep you down when you're trying so hard to get back up" Chilli saw Bella drive off "And remember that even if Honey doesn't want to be your friend, you still have other friends" Bluey smiled at the thought of her friends, even the ones that were originally against her, playing with her again "You know, you are right, thanks mum" Chill smiled knowing that she had helped her daughter feel better, even if was only by a small bit.
The two of them had finally arrived home almost at the same time as Wendy, who wouldn't have Judo with her. "Afternoon Wendy" Chilli greeted her. Wendy smiled at the two "Afternoon Chilli, Bluey" Bluey waved at Wendy "Hi" The three would each walk into their respective homes and Bluey would walk into the hallway where she stared at a picture of her and Bingo playing together, for her it was simpler times where other dogs didn't look at her like she was some sort of deranged lunatic. Bluey sighed as she stared at the picture "I ruined everything, didn't I Bingo?" she placed her hand over the image of her sister, Chilli approached her from behind and gave her a hug. "I just miss my sister" she told her mum "I know kid, me too" Chili responded. The two stood in silence in front of the picture of Bingo, Bluey wiped the tears that were forming in her eyes before they could fall. Chilli sighed and patted her head then picked her up and carried her over to the couch "You hungry Bluey?" Bluey shook her head, the only thing she really wanted was the one thing she could never have again, time with Bingo.
Bluey had remembered a conversation that she had with Chilli before that seemed to apply here as well as it did back then. "Sometimes special people come into our lives, stay for a bit, and then they have to go" "But that's sad" "It is. But the bit where they were here was happy, wasn't it?" Bluey had a small smile on her face due to the conversation cheering her up, even if it was just by a little bit. "I'm sorry you had to go Bingo, I just hope you didn't think that I hated you in the end" she sighed "Even with everyone to make me feel better, why can't I just feel better about it?" she had thought about everything that she has been through these past few months, losing Bingo, finding out Pat died, watching her relationships with people change, experiencing how it feels to be hated, and Chucky. The youngest of the Labrador Retriever family had become very odd and unlikeable towards Bluey, at first he was being weird. Bluey then remembered how he had managed to actually convince Bluey that she was Bingo, something a young pup such as himself would never even think about. She just shuddered at the thoughts and shrugged it off, perhaps he would eventually come to peace with Bluey and leave her alone one day. She was just glad that he wasn't home at the time otherwise he probably would have bothered her in some other kind of way once again.
While she sat outside Bandit would arrive home from work and set his bag down on some chair, then he would walk over to Chilli and give her a kiss on the cheek. Chilli would turn towards him with a concerned expression on her face "Babe, I feel like we need to get Bluey some therapy, see some psychiatrist" Bandit looked at her "Oh yeah?" Chilli nodded and pointed to Bluey, who was staring in a certain direction, it seemed as if she was staring at something but when Chilli tried to see what she was looking at, all they saw was the empty backyard "I think she just puts on a front around us and all her friends, she's still hurting Bandit and I can't stand feeling so helpless for her. She may need this more than anyone realizes" Bandit looked out the window to see Bluey sitting by herself "Sounds like a good idea, I'll try to get her appointment as soon as possible" Bandit had begun to walk away but was stopped by Chilli grabbing onto her hand "Honey is giving her a hard time in school, and Daisy is no help, in fact she seems to encourage such horrible behavior and even wants to say that we are wrong" Bandit had become annoyed by this information "I'll try getting through to Marcus the next time we have the same shift, maybe he can say something to Honey about her behavior" Chilli raised an eyebrow "Are you sure it will work? What if he's on the same page as Daisy?" Bandit nodded "Even if he is, I still have to try, Bluey is our kid and I won't just let her be treated like this, not by anyone" Chilli smiled at Bandit before she let go of his hand. He quickly looked up child psychiatrists and he intended to have a conversation with Marcus with the opportunity when it should arise. Bluey walked into the kitchen to her mother with a sheepish smile on her face "I'm feeling a bit hungry mum" Chilli chuckled to herself "Alright, just let me get you a plate"
Bandit scrolled on his phone for any place where he could take Bluey "Hm…no…no" Most of the places he saw were far out of town and would take long drives, finally he saw a place that wasn't too far. He then tapped on a few links and received a phone number to call, after doing so he waited a few seconds before he was greeted by a friendly sounding voice "Hello, thanks for calling our center today, who do I have the pleasure of speaking to?" "Hello there, my name is Bandit Heeler. I have a seven year old daughter who's struggling to deal with…a very unfortunate event and I was hoping maybe one of your therapists could maybe help her with this tough time?" The speaker remained silent for a few seconds for a few seconds. "Um…alright, would you please tell me your daughter's name then?" "Right, her name is Bluey Heeler" Bandit could hear the speaker typing on a keyboard before they continued to respond "Okay Mr. Heeler, do you know where to find us or do you need me to tell you our address?" "That won't be necessary, I got it off the website…1019 howler drive right?" he asked "That's correct Mr. Heeler, we are unfortunately busy today and tomorrow so the earliest we would be able to see her would be in about two days, does that work for you?" Bandit was relieved as he assumed it would take longer than that "That works fine, thanks!" "No problem, is there anything else I can help you with today?" Bandit would think for a few seconds "Actually I do have one question" "Yes sir?" the person spoke patiently "Is there the chance that her talking about these things might cause some sort of trigger?" The speaker remained silent for a few seconds before replying "I'm going to be honest, I'm sure all facilities like ours have had patients get triggered by whatever caused their trauma, but it never hurts to put in the effort for the ones we love right?" "Bandit nodded thought the speaker clearly couldn't see him doing so "You're right, cheers mate" "No problem, any other questions?" "Nah I'm good" Bandit responded. "Right so we'll see you here in two day at 2:30, thanks again for calling and we hope you have a good day" the speaker had finished "You too" Bandit hung up the phone and wrote down the details for Bluey's appointment.
Bandit walked back into the kitchen to tell Chilli about Bluey's appointment "Right so the person I spoke to said two days at 2:30" Chilli nodded and smiled "Thanks Bandy" Bluey looked at her parents confused "What's happening in two days?" "We're just going somewhere that should benefit us" Bluey looked at them with some interest in her eyes "Can I go too?" she asked. "Of course, it will be just the three of us going so you don't have to worry about any babysitter putdowns" Bluey felt excited and finished her plate then carried it over to the sink. Bluey turned around and stared at the fridge and made an expression as if something was bothering her "Bluey?" Bandit called out to her "Are you still hungry?" Bluey snapped out of it and quickly smiled at him "Oh no, but thanks for asking dad" she ran off to the living room and turned the television then proceeded to flip through the channels. "Think something is on her mind?" Bandit asked. Chilli continued to watch Bluey "Maybe, she could also be sleepy though, she doesn't sleep as much as she used too" Bandit nodded "You're right, lets just hope things go well for her"
The following day would begin normally with everyone waking up and getting ready for their day, Bandit would go to work again so he would drive Bluey to school. To his luck, Marcus would be dropping Honey off this morning. Bandit managed to catch up to the two and wait for Bluey and Honey to enter the classroom. "Marcus, I don't know what's been going on with Honey and Bluey but you need to get her to calm down around the other kids" Marcus rolled his eyes "What I need to do? Well what about you?" Bandit squinted "What about me Mark?" Marcus pointed towards Bluey "Well you can always get the little threat out of the classroom and into something more fitting" "And tell me what would be fitting for a seven year old child?" Bandit asked. Marcus groaned under his breath "You really think a murderer, child or not, doesn't deserve to be in prison?" Bandit showed the same expression to Marcus that Chilli had shown to Daisy "If that's what you're saying then surely you see the hypocrisy in what you're saying?" Marcus raised an eyebrow "And what would my hypocrisy be?" Bandit let out a smug smile "If I take Bluey to prison for murdering her own sister, then you need to take Honey to prison for bullying Bluey" Marcus eyes widened, he couldn't even think of a comeback "Know what Bandit? Why don't you keep your kids, AND your horrible taste in coffee away from others?" Marcus would get in his car, slam the door, and drive off. Bandit was a bit miffed about Marcus insulting the coffee but it didn't bother him because he felt like he had won that argument.
The rest of the day would go normally for everyone except for a few awkward glances between Bandit and Marcus at their job. The day would go much better for Bluey as Honey had decided to remain silent and not utter a single word to anyone. Another school day had come and gone and the students would leave with their parents, however Calypso would beckon Bandit, who was able to leave work early to pick Bluey up. "How was she today?" Bandit asked. Calypso looked at Bluey "She's been fine for the most part but, is everything okay at home?" Bandit raised an eyebrow "Yeah everything should be fine, why?" Calypso rubbed the back of her head "Well at random times she keeps looking in certain directions and just stares, it's almost like she's looking at someone. When I or any of the other students ask her if everything's okay she just says that everything is fine but it's still concerning" Bandit had a worried expression on his face "She's been doing that a lot lately, but her mother and I have decided to take her to a psychiatrist tomorrow to try and help her" Calypso nodded then patted Bluey on the head "Alright Bluey, see you later!" Bluey waved at Calypso and began to follow her father to their car "Bye Calypso" The two would get in the car and buckle themselves in "Dad?" "Yeah mate?" Bandit responded "What's a sike-a-trist?" Bluey struggled with the word. "Uh…they are a type of doctor" he said as he began to drive. "Are they the kind like you? Or are they the kind that use needles?" she asked while being slightly worried that the doctor would have needles. Bandit shook his head "Well, it's neither, there are many different jobs where someone gets to be called a doctor" Bluey felt relieved to hear that "Oh, well as long as I don't get stung with a needle I'll be fine" Bandit laughed at her statement "Don't worry about the needles mate, you're up to date with all your vaccines"
The two would arrive home and their day would follow the same routine as it had the previous day and would end with all three heelers in bed. Bandit would wake up in the middle of the night and hear talking coming from their living room "Did Chilli forget to turn the telly off again?" he thought as he quietly got out of the bed and walked towards Bluey's room to check on her. Once he opened the door he was surprised to find an empty room. He then started to walk towards where he heard the voice coming from. He stayed quiet as he observed Bluey talking to the photo of Bingo "...and today dad had bit his tongue while he was eating some of his takeaway" Bluey had laughed. Bandit felt a mixture of happiness and sadness at what he was seeing "I miss you so much kiddo, but Bluey truly misses you more than anyone else" he quietly walked over to where Bluey was and gently touched her shoulder, which would startle her "Dad! What are you doing?!" She asked flustered by his sudden appearance. "I could ask you the same thing, you should be in bed" Bluey turned and looked at the photo "I was just…telling her about my day so that she doesn't feel lonely" Bandit smiled at her "You're a good big sister" Bluey looked annoyed at what Bandit had said "No I'm not, if I was a good big sister then I wouldn't be in this mess in the first place" she began to walk towards her room without saying another word. Bandit walked towards her door to enter but he heard her sobbing "Oh, Bluey" he thought as he stood outside, he would listen as her sobbing eventually came to a halt and he heard light snoring. He would go back to the master bedroom and lay in his bed for a few minutes "Tomorrow will hopefully be better" just like Bluey, he would slowly drift off to sleep.
The next day Bandit and Chill would keep Bluey home from school, neither of them had to go to work so things worked out fine for them. The trio sat in the car and were headed towards the psychiatrist earlier than scheduled. "Are you sure this doctor won't have any needles?" Bluey asked her parents "Trust me Bluey, that's not this doctor's job, they just want to talk to you and ask you a few questions" Chilli had reassured her "You know dad doesn't have needled but the dogs at his job call him doctor" Bluey nodded "Yeah, but dad also has a lot of sharp tools for his job" Bandit thought about it "She's right, a lot of those things-" "Bandit! That's not the point" Chilli was quick to interrupt him "Mum is right though, this doctor doesn't use anything sharp on the patients" Bluey sat back in her seat "If you say so, but if they do then you'll both owe me ice cream" both parents rolled their eyes in perfect unison at their daughter's demands. "Fine, if the doctor uses any needles on you, then I'll get you a medium sized ice cream bowl" Bandit smiled at the thought. The satnav then spoke to let them know in it's robotic voice "1019 Howler drive, you have arrived at your destination" The three had looked out the car to see a grey and brown building around the size of an average clinic "I'll just check to see if this is the right place"Bandit said as he put the car in park and walked out to go to the building's doors.
A few kids that looked to be around Bluey's age had walked past the car, a blonde one had turned his head to look into the car and stared at Bluey for a few seconds. Bluey was confused by this behavior and rolled down her window to speak to the blonde one "Can I help you?" The blonde one's eyes had widened upon getting a better look at her "Bingo? I see you washed that red chalk out of your fur" Chilli had become confused as she listened to them speak "Do you know these kids?" Bluey shook her head. The blonde pup was accompanied by his similar looking red and brown sister "You dont remember us? We met at the park, and you told us you were a red heeler Bingo. This is my brother named Kaz" Bluey had suddenly remembered when she was convinced that she was Bingo "Ooooooh" Bluey nodded slowly "We did meet that day" "Yeah but, why are you calling her Bingo?" Chilli asked the two "Is…that not her name? She said it was" Kaz responded with a confused look "I…um…" Bluey was struggling to explain her situation to them, when their familiar brown colored sibling walked to them "Leave her alone, she doesn't need to explain her reasons to us anyway" A much smaller and younger pup had walked out the building that Bandit had entered and rushed over to where the other three were standing he had grey fur with spots that were a darker shade of grey and his eyes were a shade of magenta "Excuse me, are you Mrs. Heeler?" he spoke with a high pitched squeaky voice that made Chilli feel warm and fuzzy inside. "Why, yes I am young man, how may I help you?" He pointed towards the clinic and to where Bandit was standing. "My mother says that you and your daughter can come in" he would run back inside the building. "He's so adorable" Chilli said while getting out of the car. "Oh, you guys are the patients" Green had said. Bluey looked at them confused "Huh? You knew we were coming?" Kaz had smiled "We are here on break, but our parents are here doing some extra temporary work, our dad is a chef here and our mother is a doctor. "Temporary?" Bluey looked at Chilli expecting her to know what it meant. "It means they're not here to stay, they'll probably be gone within a month or two" The sister spoke "I didn't introduce myself last time did I? My name is Aiko and I apologize for my little brother's staring problems" she extended her hand to Bluey. Bluey shook her hand "My…real name is Bluey wait little brother? But he's taller than you" Aiko sighed "I know, but I was born before him" the group would walk towards the building. "So who was that tiny gray fella anyway?" Chilli asked Green, Green smiled "Oh him, his name is Uta, he's the youngest out of all of us" Chilli looked at Aiko "Must be hard being the only girl and having three brothers huh?" Aiko burst into laughter "Oh Mrs. Heeler, I wish things were that simple" Chilli raised an eyebrow but kept her smile "You mean it's not?"
Kaz would open the door to the building, upon seeing it's interior it seemed more like a home than any sort of doctor's office "It only looks this way because we've been living here, it's pretty nice actually" Bluey nodded. Once they passed by a door they could see a larger room filled with wolfdog puppies all playing together most of them had dark shades of brown in their fur, others had some light grey, there was only one who stood out and had white fur all over his body, yet they all had spots, some of the kids would look up at the door and wave, getting Chilli to wave back "Who are those kids?" Bluey asked. Kaz smirked "They are our brothers and sisters, our parents had some pretty big litters with us" Bluey and Chilli both went wide-eyed and looked at each other. "Mrs. Heeler!" The squeaky voice from before caught the attention of the mother and daughter "My mother is in here, she's with Mr. Heeler" He pointed at a door with a plaque on the outside that read "Dr. A. Wolfdog - Temporary Psychiatrist" "Thanks um…Uta" Chilli smiled at him as he left to join his other siblings. One of the other wolfdogs would approach the other two before they could open the door. "Before you go in I have to ask, would you like something to help calm your nerves? Our father is a chef" Chilli shook her head "Oh, I couldn't possibly bother him, this place is basically your home right? I wouldn't want to take your foo-" "Does he know how to make hamburgers?" Bluey quickly asked "Bluey, don't intrude" Chilli felt like it was wrong for them to ask for anything while in there. "He'll be fine with it trust me, and if he gets upset you can tell him that K is responsible, that's me" "K? What kind of name is that?" Bluey asked him "Bluey don't be rude" Chilli told her. The one who called himself K just laughed "It's fine Mrs. Heeler honest, it's just a shorter version of my name" he walked upstairs leaving Bluey and Chilli with his other siblings. Bluey pointed towards where K had walked "So he is-" "Oh he's the oldest of all of us, his name is Kamua, it's Hawaiian meaning first" Green told Bluey.
The door in front of them had opened slowly and Bandit peeked at Chilli and Bluey "Hey are you two going to take all day and make the nice doctor wait?" Chilli and Bluey rolled their eyes "Yes we're coming, cool it Bandit" Chilli said. Aiko patted them both on their shoulders "It's fine Mrs. Heeler, we'll let you know when the hamburgers are finished" Chilli smiled at her then entered the room while holding Bluey's hand. Once inside, they were greeted by a peaceful looking dalmatian that was at least as tall as Chilli, like similar to her smallest son, she had pink colored eyes, unlike the children her fur was completely white with spots that varied in shades across her body "Ah, so you're Mrs. Heeler" she spoke to Chilli and turned towards Bluey "And you're Bluey" Bluey was surprised "You know who we are?" She leaned forward in her chair "Of course I do, I have magic that tells me who everyone is! Also don't worry, I don't have any needles" Bluey was relieved that the doctor didn't have needles but she still wanted ice cream. "I'm just messing with you, your dad told me a few things while you were talking to my kids" Chilli looked back towards the hall "Adopting them must've been a pain huh?" The doctor's eyes went wide "Adopting? Oh no Mrs. Heeler, they're me and my husband's biological kids every…single…one" This made Bandit and Chilli go wide eyed "Your husband must be one lucky guy huh?" Bandit joked. "What does that mean?" Bluey asked which made Chilli glare at Bandit "Uh…it means he gets to have so much fun with all these kids" he chuckled nervously "You could say that, but nah they're all different litters" she smiled "Anyway enough about me, let's get down to why you're here today." She spoke in a calming yet serious tone. For Bluey, this wouldn't be easy but she remembered what her father always says "Gotta be done"
A.N: I am finally finished with this section of the story! Apologies for the wait but I had wanted to upload these five chapters all on the same day, and this is my new longest chapter. If you thought that this was long, I cut part of it off to make chapter 16. Did anyone expect the Wolfdogs to make a return?
Just a heads up though, the next chapter will conclude part 1 of my story, after that there will be a timeskip.
