Chapter 10: Finding Strength
The next morning to say that Izuku was weirded out would be an understanding. After all who leaves a message in cheese?
He found it shortly after it was left…
He didn't know why it was left there, but it was worried.
Also he couldn't sleep after getting that message… so that didn't help either.
Still he yawn as he headed to class.
He did needs to talk to All Might during lunch though.
After all they had to talk about Luisa.
But that would have to wait after all, he still had school.
Meanwhile Dolores was also thinking about the cheese message.
After all she wasn't sure exactly what it mean but before she went to bed she did hear Izuku's reaction… very, very confused reaction.
She knew she had to talk to someone about what she overheard.
She realized the first person should be someone who knows about the League of Villains.
And thankfully she had someone who wasn't Izuku to ask.
She didn't want to ask Izuku about it due to the cheese message after all.
It was better not to bother him after experiencing that…
She would wait until after school.
Later that day during lunch… things were once again awkward with Izuku.
Before he left for lunch, Aoyama fed him cheese. It was really weird.
He also butted into a conversation he was having with Ochaco and Iida.
But he still had to talk to Yagi.
"Is everything all right Young Midoriya?" he asked.
"Just something involving Aoyama…" said Izuku, "He's acting weird…"
"I see…" said Yagi.
Izuku nodded.
"So what did you want to talk about?" he asked.
"It's about Luisa." Said Izuku.
Toshinori sighed.
He had heard a lot of about her after all.
"She became a fan." Said Izuku.
Toshinori chuckled at that.
"So she wants to talk to me as All Might?" asked Yagi.
"Yeah." Said Izuku.
"Of course I can do that… but did you tell her?" asked Yagi.
"I did." Said Izuku.
Yagi nodded relived that he didn't have to show her.
"We'll talk to her after school." Said Yagi.
Izuku nodded happily.
After school, Dolores waited for Kyoka.
She waved at the purple haired girl.
"So you want more recommendations?" she asked.
Something she didn't share with many people was that Dolores loved music. She knew how to play various instruments but it was hard due to her gift, that was another reason why the two girls bonded.
"Not today…" said Dolores.
Kyoka noticed the look her friend's face… it was really grave.
"What do you need to talk about?" asked Kyoka.
The two sat down on the bench.
"How bad is the Lesage of Villains?" asked Dolores, "I don't know how to read so it's hard to get information."
Kyoka knew she meant reading the various types of characters not reading general.
After all Dolores learned how to speak Japanese from listening on her cousins lessons.
"Really bad." Said Kyoka, "I ended up in the hospital because of them."
Dolores gasped.
"Yeah… so was Midoriya, Hagakure and Yaomomo." Said Kyoka, "And they kidnapped Bakugo…. They also broke into the school at one point. They're the reason why your aunt that to heal Midoriya and Aizawa…"
Dolores had covered her mouth in shock.
"Why are you asking?" asked Kyoka .
Dolores made a squeak.
"You overheard something you weren't supposed to hear didn't you?" asked Kyoka.
Dolores nodded.
"It's bad isn't it?" asked Kyoka.
Dolores nodded again.
"So I guess the teachers found out something." Said Kyoka.
"I didn't hear about it from the teachers." said Dolores.
"What?" asked Kyoka.
Dolores covered her mouth.
"What do you mean?" asked Kyoka, "Wait… you don't mean that traitor?"
"You know?" asked Dolores.
"I overheard the teachers talk about it a few times… but I never gave it any thought…" said Kyoka, "But if you know who the traitor is you have to tell."
Dolores was quiet.
"Please tell me… it's not Kaminari or any of the girls… is it?" asked Kyoka.
"No it's not them." Said Dolores.
Kyoka breathed a sigh of relief. The girls of the class sometimes hung out together and even went on vacation together.
Whatever going on with Kaminari she would just deny it… so it's better not to say…
That was when she realized someone else.
"It/s not Mineta is it?" asked Kyoka.
"No…" said Dolores.
"Oh…" groaned Kyoka.
"Yeah… if it was him I would have said something." Said Dolores with a disgusted look on her face.
Kyoka nodded in agreement.
After all if was him she wouldn't having this dilemma about keeping secrets.
"They make you keep secrets in your town?" asked Kyoka.
Dolores was quiet.
"I learned a long time ago there are some secrets you can't keep." Said Kyoka.
Dolores nodded.
Meanwhile Izuku brought Luisa to a part of the forest where Yagi was waiting for them.
"Senior Yagi." Said Luisa.
"Hello Luisa, are you doing better?" asked Yagi.
"I am." Said Luisa, "So it's true? You're really him?"
Yagi immediately buffed up for a few seconds.
But then reverted back to being skinny…
And also bleed from his mouth a little.
"All Might!" cried Izuku.
"(You're bleeding!)" yelled Luisa in shock and in Spanish.
"Oh this is normal… actually it's getting better, thanks to your mothers it's just a trickle now." Said Yagi.
"It used to be worse…" said Luisa horrified.
"Yes… but like I said your mother is an excellent healer and is the best I ever met." Said Yagi.
"Wait does that mean?" asked Luisa.
"No something happened to my quirk during the fight in Kamino…" said Yagi.
Luisa nodded sadly.
"It's not something that I can overcome sadly…" said Yagi.
"Yeah…" said Luisa.
"So how bad were you chores?" asked Yagi.
"Well…" said Luisa who explained the various chore.
Yagi had heard she was used as something of a beast of burden for the town, but to be used to that extent.
"To be used to open jars and not have it be a running gag at a chili cook off is horrible." Said All Might.
"What?" asked Luisa.
"Wait… are you talking about that chili cook off you judged where you ended up getting into a competition with a jar opener." Said Izuku.
"Yes." Laughed Yagi, "Afterwards the competitors would ask me to open a jar or used the jar opener they bought from that vendor saying something along the lines of "I got it"."
Luisa guessed it was something really obscure, after all she was newer fan.
Yagi turned serious after that reminiscing.
But they shouldn't have used you like that…" said Yagi.
Luisa sighed.
"I never thought of using my strength like you do…" sighed Luisa.
"You're thinking about becoming a hero. "said Yagi.
"Maybe…" sighed Luisa, "It does seem amazing… to help people that way and not with chores…"
"You have atlas syndrome." Sighed Yagi, "Most cases are from veteran heroes… usually after they lost someone or something happened during a mission."
"I learned more about it…" said Luisa, "And I saw…"
"However… once you're better and if you're serious about it, I would like you help."
Luisa was surprised.
"But you have to get better first." Said All Might, "And so do I…"
Luisa nodded.
"I'll help." Said Izuku .
"Really?" asked Luisa.
"Of course!" said Izuku.
She looked between them.
"You two are close aren't you?" sked Luisa realizing something.
"I'm kind of Young Midoriya's mentor…" said Yagi.
It was something of an open secret in the school that he was his mentor.
Though some believed he was also his father secretly.
Luisa was excited for this… even if she had to wait a bit… after all both of them had to get better first… they were both healing from their problems.
Not too long later Dolores went to Nezu's office.
"(Oh hello Dolores.)" said Nezu.
"(Hello there's something I have to tell you about Yuga.") said Dolores.
"(It's not the cheese message he left on Midoriya's balcony… because while that is concerned I don't think it's something to worried about… for now…)" laughed off Nezu.
"(No it's not that…)" she said breathing an internal sigh of relief that something else knew about the cheese message.
"(Then what is it?)" asked Nezu.
"(He's the traitor to the League of villains.)" said Dolores.
Nezu became deeply serious.
"(Tell me everything you know…)" said Nezu.
And indeed it was true, the odd French boy who leaves messages in cheese was the one who had betrayed his class to the villains.
Next Time: Mirabel finally figures out Shoto has been trying to hit on her when he uses an actaul pick up line. When Mina deicides to help him, she leanrs on the reasons why Shoto is attrated to Mirabel... and it's not a good reason. MEanwhile Nezu confronts Yuga, and learns the reason why he's a traitor...
A/N: Ever make a joke abouit a character's back story and you realize that yeah you can see them doing that in canon? Yeah... I now head canon that before his injury All Might was a judge at a chili cook off... Admit it... you can see him doing that...
