While he waits for an answer, Kendrick goes to Ollivander's for a wand, after all, he is now a wizard. Stepping through the creaking door of Ollivanders, Kendrick was greeted by the enchanting atmosphere of the shop. Shelves upon shelves of wand boxes, each containing the potential for extraordinary power, lined the walls. The shopkeeper, a wise and aged wizard, emerged from the depths of the store, his eyes twinkling with knowledge and understanding. Sensing the significance of this moment, he approached Kendrick with a warm smile.
"Ah, a unique visitor indeed," the shopkeeper remarked, his voice carrying a hint of reverence. "Welcome to Ollivanders, may I have your name? I trust you are here to find the wand that shall be uniquely attuned to your magical essence."
Kendrick nodded, his eyes filled with anticipation. "Indeed, sir. I seek a wand that will serve as an extension of my abilities and help me fulfill my role as Lord Monroe."
The shopkeeper led Kendrick to a small, polished counter, upon which lay an array of finely crafted wands. He motioned for Kendrick to take a seat, preparing to embark on the search for the perfect wand. One by one, the shopkeeper presented various wands to Kendrick, watching intently as each interaction unfolded. Wands of different woods, lengths, and cores were tested, their magical potential evaluated in conjunction with Kendrick's unique presence. As Kendrick waved each wand, sparks flew, objects levitated, and auras of energy pulsed in response to his touch. Some wands hinted at the promise, while others fell short of a true connection. The shopkeeper observed carefully, analyzing the subtle reactions and seeking the perfect match. After several attempts, the shopkeeper withdrew a wand from a velvet-lined box, its sleek ebony exterior adorned with intricate silver engravings. He placed it gently into Kendrick's outstretched hand.
"Try this one, Lord Monroe," the shopkeeper suggested, his voice filled with anticipation.
As Kendrick grasped the wand, a shiver ran down his spine, and an indescribable sense of unity surged within him. The wand seemed to hum with latent power as if it had been waiting for this very moment.
The shopkeeper's eyes widened, a knowing smile gracing his features. "Eleven inches, ebony with a unicorn hair core. A most extraordinary pairing, Lord Monroe. This wand recognizes your strength and noble lineage."
Overwhelmed with a sense of wonder and fulfillment, Kendrick knew he had found his wand. With a grateful nod to the shopkeeper, Kendrick rose from his seat, the wand firmly held in his hand. A newfound confidence radiated from him, a testament to the significance of this pivotal moment.

As he entered the bustling pet shop, his eyes were immediately drawn to a half-Kneazle kitten, its fur a mesmerizing blend of spots and stripes, its sharp eyes filled with curiosity and wisdom. Approaching the kitten with cautious steps, Lord Monroe extended his hand, allowing the half-Kneazle to approach and investigate. The kitten, sensing his noble presence, cautiously sniffed his hand before nuzzling against it, as if acknowledging the bond that was forming between them.
Approaching the shopkeeper, Lord Monroe inquired about the half-Kneazle's background and availability for adoption. The shopkeeper, recognizing the significance of this moment, provided the necessary information, ensuring that the half-Kneazle would find its rightful home with Lord Monroe.
Once the adoption process was complete, Lord Monroe cradled the half-Kneazle kitten in his arms, feeling its soft fur against his skin and the comforting weight of its presence. It was a moment of connection as if their fates had been intertwined.
He named the kitten "Astra".
When he got home, as he entered the grand foyer, one of his elves, named Billy, approached with an air of excitement.
"Master Monroe, I bring tidings," Billy exclaimed, his voice brimming with enthusiasm. "A response has arrived from Lord Black."
Lord Monroe's eyes lit up with anticipation. "Please, Billy, bring me the letter. I am eager to read Lord Black's words."
The elf handed Kendrick an elegantly sealed envelope, bearing he supposed the seal of House Black.
As he read Lord Black's response, a smile played across his lips. Lord Black acknowledged Lord Monroe's wish to meet.
