Chapter Fifteen:

It's-a Mar10 Day Party Time!

A Mario Party was the perfect time to shout "wahoo".

And the Mar10 Day party was exactly the ideal time to whoop like Mario and have "lots of fun", Mario-style. Once all the guests were inside, the party was in full-swing and everyone began having fun, helping themselves to the refreshments and the many games that Mario had set up.

Tari, who was a massive gamer, tried her hand at the Bob-For-Spaghetti game in a spaghetti pool and Saiko gave her a thumbs up when the gamer girl successfully got a plate in her mouth.

Bowser tried the game himself, only to wind up nabbing the Old Man Hobo, who was lounging in the pool. The Old Man Hobo yelped and Bowser spat him out, allowing the old man to make a run for it. Melony attended the Mario Chonk petting zoo, petting one of the Chonks that came up to her. As for how Mario got the Chonks, that was pretty much a mystery.

Wario and Waluigi approached a tall inflatable Mario, curious about its secrets, only for the big Mario to point a gun at them. The Wario Brothers backed away as quickly as they could, not wanting to land in any trouble.

Meanwhile, Whimpu went to try out Mario's Tunnel of Doom, only to find himself blinded by a bright and scary flash of light, and quickly got out of there.

Boopkins and JubJub along with Meggy decided to attend the Mario merch booth, run by none other than Aziz, a former ice cream salesman whom Meggy had met while on a vacation in Port Aurora. She met him again nearly a year afterwards at the Spicy Man Concert, only to be insulted by Aziz. It seemed that the man had moved to the Mushroom Kingdom for business reasons.

"Get your Mario hats here!" Aziz cried.

Meggy tried on a Mario hat and so did Boopkins. Just then, Swagmaster came riding in on the back of a Yoshi and slapped it with an SNES console. The Yoshi yelped and went flying past the "Do The Mario corner", where a couple of people were trying to do Mario's dance. Mario walked by and decided to do some dancing when Luigi approached him.

Before the fat Italian knew it, his brother was slapping on a cowboy hat and dancing a jig. Mario took this as a dancing challenge and began busting various moves, trying to out-dance Luigi. Luigi flexed his muscles and started to dance harder, prompting Mario to go all-out.

However, the 'Do The Mario' machine experienced a malfunction and exploded, knocking Mario and Luigi into the Bob-Omb Battlefield painting room where Melony, Tari, Boopkins, and Bob were taking the 'Match the Mario Face' challenge. A holographic Mario head gave a goofy face and it was up to the group to make sure their faces matched the hologram.

Melony played with a fake Mario head, making him say various lines, while Boopkins ended up giving his Mario head an anime-ish look. Tari made her Mario head smile in a wacky manner, hardly matching the hologram.

"Let me show you how to hit!" Bob declared.

He grabbed a pipe and tried to hit the Mario head, only for the pipe to be too heavy, and Bob fell over. But as soon as the ex-Garo tumbled over, the pipe went flying from his hands, out into the main foyer of Peach's Castle and bonked a man wearing a Mario hat in the head. The man fell over, falling unconscious in seconds.

Everyone continued to party, helping themselves to various activities, when they heard a clinging sound and looked up.

Mario stood at the top of the stairs, holding a spoon and a Mario-themed glass. "Thank you for attending Mar10 Day, everyone." The plumber said, "I hope you've been having fun, because we have a very special event coming up soon..."

The guests got excited upon hearing the news, all wondering what else Mar10 Day had in store with an event that was so important if Mario was announcing it.

"…And..." Mario went on, "...this event involves a very special friend of ours, a guy we all know well as SMG4..."

He frowned and surveyed the gathered guests.

"Uh, SMG4?"

The fat Italian tried to find the meme man in the crowd, almost as if he was playing a game of Where's Waldo. Except, instead of Waldo, it was SMG4. The plumber's mind clicked and he looked to his left, realizing and remembering that his friend was in the Secret Slide Room, still working on some kind of special video after all this time.

Mario frowned as he continued to think of SMG4. Busy or not, there was much more to life than just content-creating. Today was Mar10 Day and Mario had invited all of his friends, they were all here in the castle.

He knew what to do, nobody was going to be forgotten, not on Mar10 Day...
