"Oh, isn't this so exciting?" Mildred adjusted Henry's tie.

"I can do that myself, Aunt Mildred," Henry complained.

Mildred grinned. "I know. But I'm right here and might as well help."

"Fine." Henry held his hands behind his back.

"Now, was that so hard?"

"Yes." Henry stuck his tongue out.

Mildred laughed and patted his cheek. She danced across the room to help Boris with his tie.

Henry smiled as he watched. Mildred treated him like his mother had. He didn't think he would ever let a woman take his mother's place, but Mildred had earned the place.

"There we go! All handsome!" Mildred giggled. "All four of my boys are going to look so dapper at my wedding!"

"Four?" Henry asked. "Aunt Mildred, your mind is failing you. Elmer, Boris, and I only make three."

"I know that, silly." Mildred's grin seemed to grow. "My son will be here, too!"

"Your son?" Henry froze. He'd given his mother's spot to a woman who already had a son?

"Yes, my son. He's older than you boys. His name is Henry, just like yours, Henry!"

Henry sat down slowly. Did Mildred even love him at all, or was he a replacement for her own son?

A knock at the door brought Henry out of his thoughts. "You can't see the bride yet, Elmer!" Mildred proudly proclaimed.

"You sound way too excited for a woman your age."

Henry and Boris looked at each other. They didn't recognize the voice.

Mildred opened the door with a sigh. "You should never make fun of a lady's age, Henry."

Henry jumped up. The other Henry was much older than he was. And much bigger.

The other Henry snorted. "You don't act like a lady, Ma."

Henry stuck his chin forward and marched to Mildred's side. "Don't listen to Henry, Aunt Mildred. You are most certainly a lady."

"Oh, thank you, Henry." Mildred gave him a kiss on the cheek.

The other Henry rolled his eyes. "This is going to get old fast. What's your last name, kid?"

Henry stood up as tall as he could. "Weatherspoon."

"Right. From now on, you're Weatherspoon and I'm Babbit. No more Henry and Henry."

Mildred pouted. "What about me? I can't call my boys by their last names."

"You can call us jackasses for all I care, Ma."

"I just might if you keep acting like one."

Henry held his hand up. "Alright, that's enough. We can't upset the bride on her special day." He held his arm out to Mildred. "Allow me to escort you to your room to get ready."

Mildred grinned and curtsied. "Thank you so much, young man. At least someone knows their manners."

Babbit shook his head. "Go get ready, Ma. Let's get this over with."
