As the Hogwarts Express started to reach its destination, Enuma handed out a pair of special rings to the Twins. What made the rings special was their ability to create, ultimately false but also believable, memories of the wearer in the appropriate context within someone's mind if/when watched with suspicion. Once Enuma's explanation of how the Infiltration-Rings, which was what the rings were properly referred to as, worked, she gave her Knight and Bishop orders to not lose them and keep the rings on their person for the entire duration of the year. While the Red Duchess had quite a few Infiltration-Rings to hand out to her Peerage members, the rings were quite expensive to get and neither Enuma or Shalltear had the necessary skills to make their own out of (relatively) cheaper rings. When Hermione made her opinion on the moral ambiguity of the Infiltration-Rings, Shalltear was the one to point out that the convenience of the rings removing suspicions more or less made up for the moral ambiguity. Besides, unless other people who would require the use of the Infiltration-Rings joined the Peerage, the rings would only have to be used for the duration of this school year, which put Hermione's mind at relative ease.
Something that the Demon-Ship noticed during the train ride was that she had started receiving a radio transmission when she summoned a headset similar the old headsets radio operators used during World War 2 (albeit with an antenna and a microphone attached to the opposing ear-things) and started browsing through the various radio frequencies in order to find one which played some kind of music after about an hour after the train left Kings Cross station. Much like the radio transmission from last year, the only thing Hermione managed to pick up was a series of one and two word sentences.
"Kaga. Moon. Red Duchess. Peerage." Muttered Hermione in somewhat deep thought as the train started to slow down as it approached Hogwarts Station, repeating the vaguely implied message from the radio transmission. "What could it mean?"
"You mean besides the somewhat obvious, Titanic?" Replied Shalltear sarcastically. "Whoever is sending those transmissions is obviously aware of the Supernatural World and wants to join our team. Which would add another battleship to our ranks."
"Aircraft carrier."
"What?"
"The Kaga was an aircraft carrier. Though there was another Kaga that was a battleship, this Kaga is definitely the aircraft carrier."
"How do you even know that and how can you be sure?"
"I did my research when I had the time. As for how I'm sure it's the aircraft carrier, I did my research on what aircrafts the Kaga carried, compared the pictures of them with the airplanes we saw last year and they matched."
"Such as?"
"Oh no, I'm not falling for that. You'll most likely ignore the so-called technobabble, so I'm not gonna bother."
"She's got you there, Shalltear." Quipped Enuma.
"Hey! I can use and understand tech just fine."
"This is coming from the girl who actually reads and owns a book called How to use a Smartphone for Dummies?"
"Oh come on! They're tricky to use! Give me a break!" As the King and Queen of their Peerage continued to bicker, the other members couldn't help themselves from sharing a glance between each other while the Demon-Ship shook her head in a fond manner.
"I never thought my life would end up like this, but I'm not complaining… much."
"Me neither!" Replied both of the Twins in unison. Mare was rather tame about it compared to his sister, who was a lot more enthusiastic about it. Evidenced by her raised voice, wide grin of excitement and the fact that she had thrown her fist into the air.
