Chapter Forty Six:

Stating that her fellow Devils took Shalltear's suggestions regarding their respective training regimens to heart, was quite the understatement. While quite unconventional, it definitely seemed to be working, especially considering that the basis for the respective training regimens lay in either manga, normal and comic books. Which produced no small amounts of confusion amongst the other students of Hogwarts, many of whom didn't see any point in reading stuff produced by Muggles. Some of them were however curious about the first and last items though. Whether or not it was because of the pictures was debatable however.

Something that had earned the entirety of Enuma's Peerage the envy of most of the school was the fact that, when it came to the manga and comics, it wasn't just a single issue or two but the entirety of the respective series up to present, which could definitely not have been cheap, given the size and weight of the two packages that the manga and comic books came in, which had to be carried by two owls each. The fact that the packages somehow caused servings of fried eggs and bacon to get catapulted all the way from the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw tables into Lockhart's face, covering it in bacon and eggs that looked like a smiley face, was completely missed by most people due to the rather loud and heavy thuds caused by the packages. Amongst the few who did notice Lockhart's misfortune were the Devils, who's reactions ranged from either just smirking in amusement, releasing a snicker at the wig-wearing leech expense or just straight up laughing. The only one who wasn't a part of Enuma's Peerage who noticed Lockhart's misfortune was the Gryffindor-first year who the Peerage (or at least a select few members) suspected was a Lycan, Lupusregina Beowolf, who was laughing at the Defense Against the Dark Arts-teacher.

The two recipients of the packages, Aura and Luna, used quite different methods of opening their respective packages, while completely ignoring the looks of interest they were on the receiving ends of from their respective housemates. Aura used a knife to eagerly cut her package open before proceeding to tear up the paper wrapped around a thick stack of comic books and throwing away the paper (and the knife which flew past a few students before imbedding itself in the wall of the Great Hall, mere centimeters away from unintentionally hitting Draco Malfoy and stabbing him in the face). Luna on the other hand used a rather impressive display of magic to not only unwrap her package, which contained the entire Fist of the North Star-series minus the issues that the white haired girl already had, but also fold and animate origami figures based various things, including a nine-tailed fox, a yatagarasu and… a leprechaun of all things doing a rapid fire tapdance, which drew quite a bit of attention.
