Chapter Fifty One:
Something that the two Demon-Ships discovered after Luna Lovegood's reincarnation as Enuma's second Bishop was something they initially thought would be more difficult to pull off than it actually was, communicating with each other via their radios. To say that them being able to hear even a whisper into their mics perfectly loud and clear was a surprise for the Demon-Ships was quite the understatement. After overcoming the initial surprise, the two girls chatted with each other whenever both of them could.
A topic that Luna brought up was the fact that the two of them were Demon-Ships sailing without a flag. While she was initially confused with what her fellow Demon-Ship meant, Hermione understood when Luna explained (albeit in her own way) that it was something of an unspoken tradition among Phantom-Ships (and the various variants, such as Demon-Ships) to bear a flag signifying where their loyalty and affiliation lied. In their case, Enuma Gremory and by extension the House of Gremory. After that explanation and some discussion about it amongst the other members of Enuma's Peerage, everyone was enthusiastic about the idea, even if Aura was somewhat annoyed by the fact that it wouldn't just take time to commission the flags and that the Demon-Ships refused to don the flags until after their King was unpetrified. Especially when Shalltear offhandedly mentioned that saying 'Hoist the colours' was something on Enuma's bucket List of Things She Wants To Say At Least Once In The Right Context (trademark pending). Hermione couldn't help but snicker when the Bloody Valkyrie mentioned that their King actually had such a list and semi-sarcastically asked what other items were on the list, one of which Shalltear revealed was a modified version of the famous 'Do I feel lucky?'-monologue from the movie Dirty Harry. That particular revelation made the hexagon eyed girl legitimately release a cackle.
Something that Luna revealed that she found weird, even for her, was the fact that she had been having weird dreams lately that felt more like memories than dreams. The weird thing however was the fact that she was certain that the memories/dreams didn't belong to her but different versions of Luna Lovegood. While she wasn't entirely sure why she experienced dreams/memories of alternate versions of herself, Luna's best guess was that she was unknowingly tapping into something that let her connect to her different counterparts throughout the multiverse. In the dreams/memories of her counterparts two in particular stood out. Namely that her counterparts were dating Enuma's respective counterparts and both of Enuma's counterparts were aliens (by varying definitions of the term). One was from a different planet where the native species had an appearance similar to humans with the addition of a tail similar to the stereotypical depiction of Devils had, while the other was probably a descendent of an entity, that Luna hoped was only fictional in her own reality, straight out of the Lovecraftian Horror-genre, Nyarlathotep, based on what Luna saw through that particular ounterpart's dreams/memories… so many tentacles. At least that counterpart of Enuma's preferred form was a looker, oddities like very unusual eyes, pointy ears, occasional moments of subconsciously switching to a language beyond mortal comprehension and her hair transforming into violently lashing tentacles of varying length whenever she loses her temper aside. Despite how interesting Luna found the dreams/memories of her counterparts, she kept quiet about the specifics of her dreams and simply told the others that she had been having weird dreams lately and hoped that they wouldn't make any inquiries about the dreams.
