Isekai'd as the new French Miraculous Superhero Team.

Chapter 9: Super Magician vs. Horrid Captain.

(Quantic Universe Earth 19274729568301958374, Paris, France, September 6th, 2015, third person POV...)

In the Dupain-Cheng bakery, Marinette is peacefully sleeping in her bed when she's partially awoken by Tikki tickling her feet despite having no fingers.

Marinette giggles in her sleep as she says, "(Sleepily) No, Mom, no. That tickles."

Tikki replies in a singsongy tone, "#Not even close.#"

Marinette abruptly awakens and sees Tikki floating next to her feet.

Marinette growls at Tikki, who giggles sheepishly.

Marinette states to nip in the bud, "Do not force me to put limits on you."

Tikki looks hurt as she says, "I just wanted to have some fun with you while waking you up."

Marinette replies as she points out gently, "Not everyone actually likes being tickled these days, Tikki. It's just a matter of good and bad experiences, it's merely a matter of whether some people actually went through being tickle tortured by friends and school bullies alike, and it's merely a matter of the person in question who you're tickling in general."

Tikki smiles slightly at Marinette before flying up to her eye level.

Tikki states, "I'm sorry, Marinette; it is just... I remember that a select few of my past owners used to tickle me a lot whenever I got caught doing something I wasn't supposed to and whenever we had tickle fights that I could easily win due to my size, my ability to phase through solid matter, and my ability to fly."

Marinette strokes Tikki's head while saying, "Well, the thing is, Tikki, in my past life, my ex-boyfriend used to tickle me when I was sleeping on holiday weekends at least 3 times for 2 years, and I never got much sleep before I managed to get to bed at a decent hour in order to prepare for returning to work. That's why I don't let anyone tickle me. And besides, sometimes, when girls or even boys get tickled a little too much in one go, they end up wetting their pants, and trust me, that's both disgusting and embarrassing."

Tikki cringes as she replies, "Yeah, I'm not gonna disagree; if that happened to you, you'd have to end up showering thoroughly to get the stench of urine out of your pants area."

Marinette then says, "Now, if you'll excuse me, I was in the middle of dreaming about how to use one of Hawk Moth's non-chronological Akumas against him."

Marinette tries to go back to sleep, but Tikki tickles Marinette again, making her softly shriek as she scolds, "Tikki! What did I just say?!"

Tikki replies, "Sorry, but you can't just sleep in even though it's the weekend."

Marinette replies as she takes off her Miraculous, "You wanna bet?"

Tikki starts to protest, "Wait, no, don't do that – "

Marinette puts her Miraculous away and goes back to sleep.

3 hours and a fourth quarter later, Sabine calls out, "Marinette! Time to wake up!"

Marinette yawns as she wakes up and stretches before getting up carefully.

Then, she puts her Miraculous on again, releasing Tikki.

Tikki blubbers as she asks, "Whoa, what was that?"

Marinette answers, "Nothing to worry about; just needed some alone time."

Tikki narrows her eyes at Marinette's stoic expression.

Marinette and Tikki make their way downstairs and Marinette does her usual Saturday morning routine: bathroom break, shower, brushing her teeth, eating a healthy breakfast, change of clothes, and getting ready for the day.

During breakfast, Sabine made Marinette her favorite Saturday breakfast: blueberry and chocolate chip pancakes with turkey bacon and scrambled eggs.

Sabine then asks to make conversation, "So, any idea who'll get Akumatized into a new supervillain before Stormy Weather comes to be?"

Tikki and Marinette shake their heads no, signifying their answer.

Sabine then remarks, "Well, it's too bad you can't use your wishing power to give yourself the ability to see in our timeline's future at convenient desirable times whenever you want to know any form of information whenever you see fit and by voice command."

Sabine, Marinette, and Tikki froze in shock before Marinette groans before saying, "Ough, I am such an idiot! I wish for myself and my interdimensional troops to have the ability to see into our current timeline's future for information at convenient desirable times whenever we want to know any form of information whenever we see fit and by voice command."

Testing it out, Marinette says, "Visions of the future, show me the first non-canon Akumatized supervillain that will get Akumatized today."

Marinette then sees for herself everything she needs to know about the soon to come battle between her along with her troops and Purple Streak's first champion by the name of Super Magician against Horrid Captain.

Marinette explains everything to her mother and to Tikki, and they all agreed for Marinette to deploy herself and Cat Noir when the time is right, and to call for reinforcements if necessary.

Later, Marinette is going on her way to a fabric store for supplies due to one of her minor classmates from her old elementary school requesting a Batman costume based on his appearance in Batman: The Animated Series when suddenly, Marinette's super hearing picks up on an argument happening in a store not too far from where she is.

Identifying the people in the argument as Zélie Chéron and Solène Chevotet, Marinette focuses her super hearing to listen in on the argument.

Zélie states, "I've told you again and again, Solène, your ideas don't work for our baking and gaming business!"

Solène replies sharply, "We'll see about that!"

Solène angrily leaves.

Marinette wisely stays out of the way and out of sight.

Marinette remarks to herself, "Hmm. Very interesting."

In Hawk Moth's lair, the window opens and Hawk Moth remarks, "Ah, a gaming baker whose ideas keep getting turned down by her boss. Perfect easy prey for my Akumas."

Hawk Moth makes an Akuma and sends it off while saying, "Fly away, my little Akuma, and evilize her!"

The Akuma makes its way to Solène and it merges with her jacket.

Hawk Moth remarks, "Horrid Captain, I am Hawk Moth. I'm granting you the power to make any of your ideas come to life and to make anyone's thoughts be heard out loud. All I need in return are the French Miraculous Superhero Team's Miraculouses."

Solène/Horrid Captain replies, "Soon, I'll be able to hear any and all thoughts pertaining to the darkest secrets of the people of Paris, and even if I'm not done with that yet, my former boss will see that my ideas are brilliant!"

Solène is turned into Horrid Captain, a combination of the Falconized Captain America, the corrupt Captain America, and Baron Helmut Zemo in combat armor.

Horrid Captain takes flight and her first idea is an army of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003 Flying Foot Clan Robots and Foot Clan Ground Attack Robots.

The army marches forward to Horrid Captain's workplace and they blast the entire building to the point where it explodes in a fireball.

But unbeknownst to Horrid Captain and her army of robots, Ladybug had contacted her team and her armies of clones to evacuate the premises and take everything out of there that can't be restored by the Miraculous Ladybug cure.

Horrid Captain orders, "Foot Bots, search the wreckage and unearth Zélie Chéron's corpse!"

The Foot Bots scour the wreckage, and unbeknownst to Horrid Captain, Ladybug uses stealth and sleight of hand to take Horrid Captain's jacket off and fly away without being noticed at all.

Horrid Captain's Foot Bots then start disintegrating to dust 10 by 10, much to her shock, confusion, and horror.

Horrid Captain exclaims, "What's going on?!"

Then she feels her jacket is gone, and her eyes widened in horror before narrowing in anger.

Then she tests out her secondary power and she hears Ladybug's thoughts say, "Ha! In your face, Horrid Captain! Let's see if you can catch me now! I bet you can't catch up to me at my best top speed."

Horrid Captain replies to Ladybug's thoughts at the same time she makes other people's thoughts on the streets be heard out loud, "You wanna bet?"

And then she flies off in pursuit after seeing Ladybug's retreating form in the distance getting microscopically small.

In the meantime before Horrid Captain realized what was happening, Purple Streak's first champion by the name of Super Magician raises her magic wand and says, "Cei Boom Boom Wizzy Hex Nikto Leeca Satis Walla Waggle, make Horrid Captain's jacket vulnerable to any and all forms of damage from normal humans and from magic-enhanced superhumans!"

Ladybug then rips the jacket in half, but no Akuma comes out.

Suddenly, Horrid Captain comes in flying and almost tackles Ladybug, but she dodges out of the way thanks to her enhanced superhuman danger intuition carried on from Spider-Man during the aftermath of him accepting The Other after killing Morlun a second time, hibernating to heal and repair his body, and emerging in a new body that's in perfection in every way, including the tonsils he lost when he was a kid and the things that shouldn't be mentioned that he lost during his first, second, third, fourth, fifth, six, seventh, and eighth longest grievous fights with Morlun after his first death and his first resurrection.

Horrid Captain tries to slice Ladybug's wings, but her sword shatters on impact, showing that Ladybug and Tikki collaborated the idea of making every part of Ladybug's body – covered in armor or otherwise, and especially including her wings – completely invulnerable to physical damage, especially with the idea of using even her invulnerability whenever she's not on duty for security sake and convenience.

Horrid Captain stares at her shattered sword in horror before looking at Ladybug's stoic angered expression barely visible thanks to her masked helmet even though her eyes were the only feature on Ladybug's face that was visible before deciding to focus on studying her body language as improvisation.

Ladybug then charges in flight and punches Horrid Captain in the stomach, kicking her in the stomach, and then kicking her hard in her back, making her winged jetpack jiggle a bit before repairing itself.

Cat Noir then slams his staff onto Horrid Captain's head before slamming one end into her gut and before slamming the other end into her face.

Screechclaw then slams her claws into Horrid Captain's back before punching her in the face and executing a series of thrust punches, upward-cannon punches, horn punches, and diagonal punches.

Then Milo Tigger scratches Horrid Captain's armor and technology with her finger claws and her Wolverine/Shredder style claws, disabling Horrid Captain's onboard computer system and her winged jetpack.

Next, Purple Streak does an unexpected thing: she engages Horrid Captain in a shattered sword to swordstick fight and Horrid Captain comes out with her armor much more damaged than normal along with her helmet being discarded after taking heavy amounts of damage.

Then Royal Fowl keeps Horrid Captain distracted multiple times with her using dirty tessanjutsu moves that she learned thanks to Marinette, Tikki, and a Sentimonster Mayura providing some insight for training.

As for Ozzy Bubba, Roadkill, Beck Dollarbird, Gunner Claws and the others, well, they used their respective weapons and different training styles to get Horrid Captain on the ropes.

Suddenly, Screechclaw's thoughts said out loud, "This is gonna be easy enough to sleep off of."

Horrid Captain then turns around and slaps Ladybug's yoyo away before it can lasso around her waist, much to her shock.

Ladybug unleashes a chained weight from her yoyo, but Horrid Captain dodges it before attempting to slice it, and when that didn't work, she tried to electrocute Ladybug.

Unfortunately, Ladybug was invulnerable.

Ladybug remarks, "Is that all you got?"

Horrid Captain then hears Mongrel Terrier's thoughts say, "Hyah!" and he gets clobbered by Horrid Captain.

It goes on for a few minutes of superheroes trying to take down Horrid Captain and the Akuma villain manages to overcome all odds, even taking on all one thousand and forty-two superheroes at the same time.

Suddenly, Cat Noir decides to use the advantage Ladybug gave him and he whispers under his breath at a rapid pace while Horrid Captain was preoccupied, "(Softly) I wish for me and my allies in the French Miraculous Superhero Team to be immune to different kinds of mental, emotional, and physical superpowers from enemies and supervillain family members only, and I wish for me and my allies to be immune to the mental and physical superpowers of supervillains like Hawk Moth and Horrid Captain."

Suddenly, Horrid Captain exclaims, "What the?! Why can't I hear your thoughts anymore?! And why aren't your thoughts being heard out loud?!"

Cat Noir replies coyly before saying dangerously, "A magician never reveals his secrets. You shouldn't've signed up with Hawk Moth."

Cat Noir whacks Horrid Captain in the face with his staff before jabbing her in the chest with it and before sweeping her off her feet and then before kicking her in the side as she rolls away for recuperation.

Horrid Captain then sees Ozzy Bubba diving at her, but before she can move out of the way, Ozzy does a Superman Punch before punching her in the face with a left hook and then kicking her in the face.

Horrid Captain gets up and tries to increase her power, but no matter how hard she tries even with keeping the other superheroes at bay with her Foot Bots, she couldn't as the process of Cat Noir wishing for he and his allies to be immune to her powers was irreversible.

Wild Blue then slashes at Horrid Captain, and her armored helmet gets scraped as the impact of the slashing makes her recoil in pain.

Moggie Rex strikes hard at Horrid Captain by slamming his war hammer into Horrid Captain's back and then face, making her fly towards Ozzy Bubba's waiting uppercut.

Horrid Captain then finally gets lassoed by Ladybug's yoyo and slapped into unconsciousness by Screechclaw slamming her claws onto Horrid Captain's head.

Cat Noir's Cataclysm rips apart Horrid Captain's actual jacket and Ladybug purifies the Akuma before using her Miraculous Ladybug to fix the damage that the Foot Bots did as well as to heal Solène of any injuries she accidentally gained during the fight.

After Solène is turned back to normal, the 1,042 heroes fist-bump in victory.

In Hawk Moth's lair, Hawk Moth snarls, "ARGH! I would've annihilated you all if I had the ability to Akumatize more than one supervillain at a time in one day! This isn't over!"

The window closes, and Hawk Moth says, "Nooroo, Dark Wings Fall."

Hawk Moth transforms back into Gabriel Agreste.

Gabriel goes to his elevator and heads into his mansion.

Meanwhile, Marinette and her army of likeness clones are hard at work in making the Batman costume from Batman: The Animated Series for her minor classmate from elementary school, and they managed to finish it in under 36 minutes without messing anything up and without getting poked whatsoever.

Marinette then checks the time and, noticing that her former classmate gets home at this particular time, mails the commission to the person in question, Elisée Choffard.

After making sure that the package gets to its destination safe and sound, Marinette gets herself ready for her martial arts class.

Along the way, Marinette receives a vision of the coming future in which a woman in her early 40s gets Akumatized into Aunt Glass, a female opposite of Mr. Glass from Unbreakable in the sense that Aunt Glass is as invulnerable as David Dunn and just as smart as Mr. Glass.

Marinette states, "I'll worry about that later. For now, though, I got a class to get to."

Marinette goes to her martial arts class, and her training under her sensei opened its heart to her.

(Bonus scene: Marinette makes Alya's superhero costume.)

Marinette finishes the finishing touches on Alya's requested superhero costume for Halloween, which is actually a Majestia costume.

Marinette remarks, "Ahh. At last, Alya's Majestia costume is finished."

Marinette then calls Alya and says, "Bestie, guess what? Your Majestia costume is finished."

Alya remarks, "Wow! Okay, I'll be ready for pickup."

Marinette gives Alya her superhero costume in Alya's residence, and Alya hugs Marinette tightly, but Marinette manages to hold strong because of her martial arts training among other things.

Marinette heads home and gets to sleep.
