In this all-new take on MLB, an army of 1,044 friends are killed by an exploding TV and reborn in Miraculous Ladybug, with 2 girls being reborn as Marinette and Chloe. With the foreknowledge at their disposal, they intend to change everything horribly wrong and minorly horrible about the superhero show's future. But what threats lurk to stop them?

12. Stock Dove vs Mr Pigeon

Isekai'd as the new French Miraculous Superhero Team.

Chapter 12: Stock Dove vs. Mr. Pigeon.

(Quantic Universe Earth 19274729568301958374, Paris, France, September 15th, 2015, third person POV...)

In Ms. Bustier's classroom at Francoise Dupont High School, Mr. Damocles is addressing the class.

He says, "All of you have only one day to work on your fashion piece, and it must be your own design. In ten hours, your finest presentation will be judged by none other than the great fashion designer Gabriel Agreste, the father of our very own student Adrien Agreste. As a matter of fact, Adrien will be modeling the winning design in his next photoshoot. And now, the theme of this year's competition is: derby hats."

Marinette remarks with an evil chuckle, "Derby hats, you say? Heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh."

Chloe looks at Marinette and Alya before giving them a thumbs-up sign.

In the courtyard of the school, Marinette stands still while looking through her sketchbook and while saying to Alya before asking, "Thanks to my great intuition, I've got plenty of derby hat designs, but unfortunately for me, I don't know which ones I should use. I don't know, what do you think, Alya?"

Alya replies, "I'm not sure either; I don't know as much about fashion as you and Chloe do. You're asking the wrong girl."

Marinette narrows her eyes as she asks dangerously, "And you don't have a simple, not-so-complicated opinion?"

Alya shivers as she replies, "I don't know; just pick out which ones stand out to you the most, in terms of which ones you haven't done before."

Marinette replies before quoting, "Oh! (Face palm) Duh! Why didn't I think of that? Cut, print, check the gate, moving on."

Marinette sifts through pages as Alya remarks, "Did you just quote the 2000 iteration of Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas?"

Marinette replies back with a small smirk, "Perfect for something as this, don't you think?"

Alya grins, but Marinette knows she's half-convinced.

Adrien comes up and remarks, "Wow. Marinette, those are such incredible designs for fashionable clothes. I had no idea you had such skills that are sometimes hard to come by."

Marinette replies, "Why, thank you, Adrien. I actually need your opinion."

Adrien asks, "My opinion?"

Marinette answers before explaining and before asking, "Yes. Now, I have several derby hat designs, but I don't remember which ones I designed but never made for real. Which ones do you find suitable?"

Adrien takes a close look before saying, "Personally, if I were my father if he was a little smarter, I'd design a derby hat that incorporates the designs of up to 2 different derby hats together to make something truly unique."

Marinette smiles in realization as she states, "Oh! Of course! Thanks, Adrien!"

Marinette hugs Adrien, and he hugs her in response.

Adrien states, "You're super talented, Marinette. You actually have a good chance of winning the competition."

Marinette nods.

Adrien remarks, "Maybe I'll be wearing your winning hat at Father's next photoshoot."

Adrien leaves.

Alya remarks, "Did you hear, girl? Adrien thinks you're good enough to win."

Marinette does a victory dance which consists of The Twist and Michael Jackson's Moonwalk, making Alya laugh.

Chloe then comes up and says, "Good hunting to you, Marinette. Hopefully, you can avert any catastrophes with this kind of competition."

Marinette replies half-heartedly and half-humorously, "Maybe there won't be that much of a catastrophe in general today."

Chloe and Marinette laugh in unison.

Alya laughs as well as she remarks, "Girl, I knew you were funny, but I didn't think you were this funny!"

Marinette replies, "Yes. Now, as much as I'd love to trade jokes and funny comebacks, I gotta get to work."

Marinette walks off, but manages to stop herself from colliding with a wall.

Marinette remarks, "Whoa! That was a close one. Either my depth perception is off-kilter for today or I need glasses."

Marinette carefully exits the school and succeeds the second time around.

In Hawk Moth's lair, the window opens and Hawk Moth remarks, "The time has come for us, you Akumas and myself, to find our next and newest victim to Akumatize, and to prey upon Ladybug, Cat Noir, and their forces. Their Miraculouses must be mine, no matter what it takes!"

At the Trocadéro, Marinette draws a hybrid design of 2 different derby hat designs from her sketchbook.

Then she looks up to see Xavier Ramier walking into the park like a bird before sitting down on one of the benches.

He takes out a paper brown bag and blows a pigeon bird call.

A cluster of pigeons approaches him and Marinette dodges one.

Xavier throws out food for the pigeons.

Xavier remarks, "Well, happy day, happy day! Splendid is the afternoon day. (A pigeon flies onto his left arm close to his hand) Ah, Edgar, you fancy one. (The pigeon does a 360 spin in flight before landing again) Fantastic. Dazzling performance."

Then, Officer Roger Raincomprix approaches and shouts, "Scram, you winged rats! (The pigeons fly away in fear) How many times do you have to be told before you actually listen, Mr. Ramier? No... feeding... the pigeons! It's strictly prohibited. If everyone in the city feeds them, they'll leave their waste everywhere in the city!"

Officer Raincomprix stares down Mr. Ramier while Marinette looks furious with an expressionless look on her face.

Xavier asks, "But who's going to feed my poor pigeons?"

Roger replies, "All the park keepers of the city know about you, Mr. Ramier. You're banned from every park in Paris. Leave now, or I'll call the authorities – oh, wait, that's right; I'm the authorities. (He leans down face to face with Xavier) GET OUT!"

Xavier walks away sadly.

Marinette snarls dangerously, "Clearly, Officer Raincomprix is blinded by his own skewed sense of justice that he's knowingly and unknowingly in unison abusing his power as a police officer to make sure every law is followed and he punishes those who make even one infraction, no matter how many times that happens, even outside of being Akumatized into Rogercop on Parents' Career Day in a few weeks. And clearly, both he and Ramier don't know that there are specific parks that actually allow people to feed birds. And at the same time, Ramier doesn't care about how many times he has to be told about specific park laws when it comes to feeding even pigeons. All of that and Hawk Moth's Akumas aside, Roger's blind drive for justice is only going to make our jobs harder."

Tikki remarks, "What a unique character! He was almost like a humanoid bird. All he needed was a feather jacket to complete the ensemble."

Marinette growls, "Don't change the subject, Tikki; it's clear that Mr. Pigeon is next on the list of Akumatized villains to deal with, and I already got more than enough to do with actually making the derby hat."

Tikki replies, "You're right, but I was just making a point."

Marinette pets Tikki as she replies back, "I know, but sometimes, hero duties take precedence over school grades on an equal level to those things in opposite positions."

Marinette then gets up and uses light and shadow travel to get home without being seen or heard or filmed.

On the riverbank of the Seine, Xavier Ramier sits down on one of the benches sadly.

In Hawk Moth's lair, Hawk Moth senses Ramier's sadness and remarks, "Poor Mr. Ramier. The feeling of injustice, and this is such an easier form of prey for my Akumas."

Hawk Moth corrupts a butterfly into an Akuma.

The Akuma flies off as Hawk Moth says, "Fly away, my little Akuma, and evilize him!"

The Akuma flies to Xavier and infects his bird call.

Hawk Moth remarks, "Mr. Pigeon, I'm Hawk Moth. Neither this police officer nor any of the other park keepers should stop you from taking care of your feathered friends. After all, what would Paris be without pigeons? And for that matter, what would pigeons be without you?"

Xavier/Mr. Pigeon chuckles darkly and transforms into Mr. Pigeon.

He flaps his arms, makes pigeon noises, and runs off while doing all three in unison.

In Marinette's bedroom, Marinette traces a line on a measured piece of black fabric. Then, she cuts the lined fabric in half with a pair of scissors. Then, she makes a working model of the hat out of dummy fabric, making sure not to cut or pinch herself with any pins. Then, Tikki walks across Marinette's desk while holding a giant red apple. Tikki trips over a glue stick, but Marinette catches the rolling apple with an appreciative smile before taking a bite out of the apple.

Then, as the derby hat is almost finished, Marinette inserts a fake pigeon feather she made onto the spot needed for the fake feather to complete the ensemble.

Tikki asks, "Why does this pigeon feather look fake?"

Marinette answers, "Because, Tikki, Adrien is allergic to actual bird feathers and other kinds of feathers."

Tikki replies, "Ohhh. So, you made this fake pigeon feather in advance so that you can avoid accidentally causing Adrien to have a sneezing fit or an allergy reaction to actual feathers."

Marinette replies, "Ding ding ding, that's right."

Marinette then checks the timer and remarks, "And, not that I enjoy being boastful, but it appears I finished just in time. For both the competition and the attack by Mr. Pigeon."

Tikki replies, "Well, you know the magic words."

Marinette smirks as she replies humorously, "Abracadabra."

Tikki giggles as she says, "No, not that kind of magic word."

Marinette replies, "Ha! Just kidding! Tikki, Spots On!"

Marinette transforms into Ladybug and takes flight.

Meanwhile, in the subway tunnels, Purple Streak senses the positive joy over new dove birds being hatched coming from Narkissos Autié, a dove bird breeder.

Purple Streak makes a Tenshi the exact same way Hawk Moth makes his Akumas, and she sends the Tenshi on its way as she says, "Fly off, my little Tenshi, and Championize him."

The Tenshi flies to Narkissos and splits in two to merge with his dove bird call and his I.D. badge.

Purple Streak says, "Stock Dove, I'm Purple Streak. I'm granting you the power to control and create doves in every way possible. The French Miraculous Superhero Team needs your help in defeating Hawk Moth's newest victim, Xavier Ramier, aka Mr. Pigeon. Do you accept the mission at hand?"

Narkissos/Stock Dove replies, "Yes, Purple Streak."

Narkissos transforms into Stock Dove, an armored opposite color version of Mr. Pigeon, and flies off to find Ladybug.

Meanwhile, Officer Raincomprix is doing his rounds in the Trocadéro when suddenly, a swarm of pigeons descends upon him from above and behind him.

Officer Raincomprix turns around and cries out as the swarm of pigeons attacks him.

Meanwhile, Nadia Chamack reports from the TVi News channel on various screens in Paris, "Pigeons have taken over Paris. This just so happens to be one of the many alarming and most bizarre situations we've come across, and this is giving the authorities cause for big time concern. (She touches her earpiece) Yes, I've just been told that someone called Mr. Pigeon is making an announcement."

Mr. Pigeon remarks, "Oh, dreary day, dear citizens of Paris. (Makes pigeon noises) Sorry to ruffle your feathers, but Paris is now property of the pigeons! Flap flap! (He makes pigeon noises again)"

Ladybug asks, "Let me guess: Stock Dove?"

Stock Dove answers, "Yes."

They suddenly sees masses of airplane shapes made out of cooing pigeons flying in the sky.

Ladybug remarks, "Now this takes weird to a whole other level just because Hawk Moth isn't that creative when it comes to his victims."

Cat Noir remarks from the top of the rooftop, "Birds of a feather flock together. AH-CHOO!"

Cat Noir falls to where Ladybug is.

Ladybug states while handing Cat Noir a bottle of Allegra, "Here, take one of these; it's a nasal allergy medicine."

Cat Noir takes a pill and sneezes again before gulping down the pill.

Cat Noir hands the bottle back and Ladybug pockets it.

Cat Noir states before advising, "Thanks, my love. These pigeons are only part of the problem; the park keepers in Paris are vanishing without a trace."

Ladybug asks Lake Modeler, "And am I correct in guessing the others had more important things to do for now?"

Lake Modeler answers, "Yes."

Ladybug replies before saying, "Okay, then. We have to find Mr. Pigeon ASAP."

Cat Noir questions, "Where are we gonna find him?"

Ladybug replies, "I don't know, but I do have an idea on how to lure him to us."

In the Place des Vosges, Cat Noir is disguised as a seven feet tall park keeper version of Adrien Agreste with additional facial hair and with slightly longer hair.

Cat Noir starts whistling to La Marseillaise with Ladybug hiding behind a tree and with Lake Modeler positioned on Marinette's balcony with a sniper rifle.

Cat Noir then starts dancing to the Gangnam Dance.

Ladybug whispers, "(Softly) Hey! Act natural, or he'll never show up!"

Cat Noir replies while doing the Moonwalk, "What do you mean? I am acting natural."

Ladybug makes eye contact with a pigeon on a park lamppost and the pigeon flies off to warn Mr. Pigeon.

Ladybug remarks, "Yes! Right on schedule."

Cat Noir replies, "Yes, and not a moment too soon."

But then, Ratbat points out, "But in the future, keep in mind that if a park ranger is caught goofing off on the job, they'll be fired."

Cat Noir slumps.

Meanwhile, at one of the other parks in the city, the pigeon lands on Mr. Pigeon's right arm and coos its warning to him.

Mr. Pigeon makes pigeon noises as he jumps off of his ledge and an army of pigeons come together as a platform to carry him off.

Back in the Place des Vosges, Cat Noir is acting natural for real as Ladybug stares at a countdown nearing zero.

The countdown reaches zero, and Ladybug looks up to see the pigeons flying overhead.

Ladybug remarks, "Yes, right on time."

Cat Noir sneezes, and a small blob of mucus escapes from his nose on the floor.

Lake Modeler states, "Next time we encounter a supervillain with powers related to birds, carry a box of tissues; we can't risk anyone getting sick or contaminated with something horrendous."

The pigeons then form a big ball and start carrying Cat Noir away from the park, leaving behind the park ranger's cap.

Ladybug exclaims, "Bingo!"

Ladybug and the others fly after the pigeon ball, managing to spot them heading to the roof of the Grand Paris Hotel.

The pigeons drop off Cat Noir, and he dusts himself off before sneezing again.

The pigeons look at him quizzically.

Cat Noir questions, "Where's that bird-brain Mr. Pigeon?"

Ladybug points behind them and asks rhetorically as Mr. Pigeon is lifted by a swarm of pigeons, "That answer your question, kitty?"

Mr. Pigeon looks shocked and angered that he was discovered so easily.

Hawk Moth says telepathically from his lair, "So, a few members of the French Miraculous Superhero Team are active today, along with a dove-themed champion. No matter. If you want to give Paris back to the pigeons for good, Mr. Pigeon, you must rid the city of those pests first and foremost."

Mr. Pigeon sounds his bird call and the pigeons start circling around the heroes.

Ladybug then says, "Bring up your tasers and lightning whips!"

Cat Noir exclaims, "We can't kill them!"

Ladybug snarls, "DO AS I SAY!"

The heroes bring out their electric weapons and they start tasing the pigeons, but the rest of them start multiplying, much to even Ladybug's shock, and they form a shield to keep them confined and prevent them from using their weapons.

Cat Noir questions, "Got any more bright ideas, bug?"

Ladybug replies, "I'd tell you in hand signals, but we're a bit confined right now!"

A giant cage is brought down over the heroes.

Ladybug snarls, "This is unacceptable!"

Mr. Pigeon makes bird noises as he remarks, "Turpy day. I'm so ruthless. Heh heh heh."

Hawk Moth states from his lair, "Excellent. Now, take their Miraculouses!"

Mr. Pigeon remarks, "(Bird noises) Your Miraculouses! Give them to me or face the wrath of my feathered friends."

He sounds his bird call again and some pigeons start banging the cage roof, and other pigeons turn around and point their rear ends at the heroes.

Ladybug looks disgusted as she roars, "Don't tell me your beloved friends are going to commence fire!"

Mr. Pigeon remarks before saying and before counting down, "Wow, such intuitive prowess. Dada-dee, on the count of three, my beloved pigeons will indeed commence fire! You can still save your sorry skins by handing me your Miraculouses! One, two..."

Ladybug deploys her claws as she exclaims, "Cataclysm!"

Ladybug slashes the bars of the cage, sending one side crashing down and nearly crushing some pigeons.

Ladybug immediately lassos Mr. Pigeon and swings him to her before knocking him out with a Falcon Punch, but unfortunately for her, Mr. Pigeon was carried by the pigeons and awakened.

Mr. Pigeon backs away from the roof on the pigeons as Ladybug advances, her Wolverine claws deploying from her knuckles as Cat Noir remarks, "Well, well, well, looks like the pigeon's really a chicken."

Ladybug asks coyly, "Did you just make a rhyme?"

Cat Noir replies, "One of my best, don't ya think?"

Mr. Pigeon replies to Cat Noir's rhyme, "Me? I'm not flying away; no, I'm just killing two birds with one stone."

He sounds his bird call and he ascends faster before some pigeons form the shape of Santa Claus' sleigh and reindeer.

Another selection of pigeons forms a divebombing present as Mr. Pigeon remarks mockingly, "(Bird noises) Merry Christmas! Hahahahaha!"

Ladybug emotionlessly zaps the pigeons until they fall unconscious to the floor.

Mr. Pigeon snarls as he rides an airplane-shaped group of pigeons, "I'm not done with you yet!"

Stock Dove then sounds her own bird call, a dove bird call, and an army of doves appear, amounting to several million in total.

Ladybug then says, "Stock Dove, follow Mr. Pigeon and comm us when you find his location and his prisoners. If Mr. Pigeon refuses to surrender, turn the doves on the pigeons, but make it a clean, non-fatal fight."

Stock Dove nods and sounds her bird call before flying off.

Ladybug then says, "Now, let's split up into groups of two and find hot spots for Mr. Pigeon's surveillance groups. Cat Noir, you and Lake Modeler search the parks of Paris and look for anything that the pigeons could perch upon. Milo Tigger, Purple Streak, find anything that could help lead us and Stock Dove to Mr. Pigeon's location. Gunner Claws, Royal Fowl, create a diversion to lead some of Mr. Pigeon's minions away from his hideout long enough for us to win. Moggie Rex, Moon Wolf, you two find some of our numbers and see if they have finished with their personal lives to help us. Killer Wasp, Cold Monitor, find Cat Noir some strong allergy medicine that can help alleviate his feather allergy, but don't use Benadryl; it'll make him too exhausted for his next photoshoot. After five minutes, a signal from Stock Dove leads the heroes and their reinforcements to the Grand Palais.

Ladybug and the heroes look inside from a distance to see a giant cage full of police officers and park keepers.

Ladybug says, "There, just as Stock Dove told us."

Cat Noir replies, "Yeah, the Grand Palais. Either the medicine is working, or Mr. Pigeon is leaving the park keepers attended by his surveillance specialists among his birds."

Ladybug replies back, "Most likely Mr. Pigeon is anticipating us arriving and is preparing more than a few traps."

Screechclaw adds, "Agreed, sweetheart. We must proceed with caution."

Ozzy Bubba then says as he holds up an unconscious pigeon in quarantine gloves added to his clawed gloves, "Yeah, and we must neutralize any pigeons we see on the outside just in case we get ratted out.

Ladybug replies, "Agreed. If a pigeon spots us, it's urgent to neutralize it non-lethally and quickly or to retreat, either into light, into the shadows, or high above the city."

Ladybug uses French combat hand signals as she 'says,' "Mr. Pigeon is likely in plain sight of roof troops from the skylight. Recommend others restrain and pincer while I go in for the finisher."

Everyone else nods before going to their posts.

Inside the Grand Palais, Mr. Pigeon remarks before saying to Hawk Moth, "So, the French Miraculous Superhero Team is aware of our trap, eh? Well, it matters not! Either way, we're ready to greet them, aren't we? It won't be long before you get your coveted Miraculouses, my friend."

Hawk Moth replies from his lair, "I can't wait, my dear Mr. Pigeon."

On the rooftop, Ladybug says, "Cat Noir, you stay at the entrance; chances are that if we open the window to the skylight, the wind will blow a cluster of feathers into your nose, causing you to sneeze and making me miss the chance to ensnare Mr. Pigeon and cause him to spot us."

Cat Noir nods before going to the entrance of the Grand Paris.

Ladybug then says, "Okay. Screechclaw, you open the window, and I'll yank him onto the rooftop and destroy his bird call."

Screechclaw nods and opens the window.

A draft of feathers hit Screechclaw, but because her Plague Doctor-style owl masked helmet is made of metal, she doesn't even flinch or sneeze.

Ladybug throws her yoyo and snags Mr. Pigeon before quickly pulling him up.

And because his hands were restrained and kept away from his bird call, it was all too easy for Stock Dove and the others to lure the pigeons away from the Grand Palais.

Cat Noir rushes up to the park keepers and slashes the cage bars with his claws.

Ladybug snags the bird call and manages to destroy it, purify the Akuma, and use her Miraculous Ladybug to restore everything back to normal.

The heroes fist bump before turning angrily to Officer Raincomprix as Sabrina comes in marching with a furious expression on her face.

Xavier asks disoriented, "Huh? What happened? Where am I?"

Xavier turns to see the heroes and Sabrina glaring at her father.

As the heroes discuss with Officer Raincomprix about the consequences of following his flawed sense of justice to a T, in Hawk Moth's lair, Hawk Moth snarls, "Wretched pigeons, wretched Ladybug! I'll destroy every last one of you! Hrrrggghhh!"

The window to Hawk Moth's lair closes.

After Purple Streak releases Stock Dove from her power, in Marinette's bedroom, Sabine says, "Good hunting at the competition, Marinette."

Marinette replies while hugging her mother, "Thanks, Mom."

Later, at Francoise Dupont, everyone is getting ready to present their hats.

Marinette comes up with her own hat and says to Alya, "Finished it on time."

Alya whispers, "(Softly) I hope you didn't get stuck with pigeon poop."

Marinette makes a disgusted face as she replies, "All of that aside, me and the hat are clean as a whistle."

Marinette looks at Chloe, and she sees that Chloe designed all by herself a standard derby hat in the shape of a small top hat.

Marinette and Chloe give each other a thumbs-up gesture.

At the entrance of the school courtyard, Mr. Damocles walks in with Adrien and Nino.

Nathalie comes up holding a tablet and she says, "Hello, Mr. Damocles. I am Nathalie, Mr. Agreste's executive assistant."

Mr. Damocles replies, "Hello, miss. Forgive me for asking, but where is your boss?"

Nathalie holds up the tablet and Gabriel Agreste replies, "I'm here, Mr. Damocles."

Mr. Damocles replies before asking, "Ah, I see. Well, hello, Mr. Agreste, and welcome to our school. Would you like to see the hats the students designed?"

Gabriel replies, "Yes, I would. Adrien, take Nathalie around, please."

Adrien replies, "Yes, Dad."

Chloe notices this and says, "Remember, Sabrina, keep a cool head, don't speak unless spoken to, don't speak about his family ties, etc. Got it?"

Sabrina nods and puts on a neutral expression.

Mr. Damocles, Adrien, and Nathalie go to see Rose and Juleka's hat.

Mr. Damocles says, "Now, as you can see, sir, our students have poured their hearts and souls into their projects, metaphorically."

The judges go to Chloe and Sabrina's hat, and Gabriel states, "Hmm. Looks acceptable, Ms. Bourgeois."

Chloe nods, not saying a word.

The judges move on over to Marinette's hat design and Gabriel remarks, "Hmm. Very excellent creation, Ms. Dupain-Cheng. You definitively have the laboring hands and healthy mind and healthy heart of a hat maker. Congratulations on your demonstration. You're the winner."

Marinette smiles as she replies while keeping her cool and while taking a bow like an actor, "Thank you, Mr. Agreste."

Gabriel then continues, "Adrien will wear your derby hat on our next advertising campaign. And I see you made a fake pigeon feather."

Everyone turns to look at Marinette, and she explains before asking Mr. Damocles, "Well, the thing is, a few years ago, I asked Adrien politely if he had any food allergies I should know about in case he became a regular at my parents' bakery, and he said that he only had a feather allergy. It says so on Adrien's medical file in the school. Did you check the medical file, Mr. Damocles?"

Mr. Damocles' eyes widened in shock before he quickly replies, "Oh, yes, I did, but I didn't get to read it again for future reference."

Marinette replies coldly, much to Gabriel's shock, "If you don't do your job properly, even outside of the parameters of schoolyard bullies, the school board will come on the rampage, and there'll be no mercy or hope for your future as principal of our school."

Mr. Damocles shivers under Marinette's cold, angered gaze, and even Gabriel is nervously twitching as he sees Marinette roll her eyes up like the Gravemaker.

Even Chloe got in on the action by playing the Gravemaker's 4th and 3rd theme songs in unison with bells, thunder, and lightning.

Gabriel hurriedly says, "Nathalie, get out of there!"

Nathalie sprints to the car in a hurry while being careful not to trip in her heels.

Mr. Damocles flees to his office.

After Chloe presses pause on the theme song, Adrien asks, "Was that really necessary?"

Marinette replies firmly, "Sometimes, it's best to use intimidation to make sure people do their jobs properly, no matter if they're incompetent publicly or from the shadows."

Chloe then says assuringly, "But don't worry, Adrien. As long as things go according to plan, Marinette and I don't intend to make this a bad habit."

Adrien sighs in relief before following Nathalie back to the car.

Chloe smirks as she asks Marinette, "We're definitely gonna have Ladybug play this to haunt Hawk Moth in his prison cell in the future, right?"

Marinette replies, "Totally! Hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee."

(Bonus scene: A day of life in the office. January 11th, 2023, third person POV...)

In Grassette Headquarters, Adrien is working with his paternal grandfather, Elijah Grassette, and learning how to properly cook skin-off French fries using an air fryer.

Elijah then says, "Now that you have cut the skinned potatoes evenly, Adrien, if you have a cast iron skillet or a small fryer, including a small air fryer, you have to heat up the fryer and/or the oil in the skillet until either of them reaches either two hundred and seventy-five degrees Fahrenheit, or three hundred degrees Fahrenheit. Then, soak the French fries in some warm water for a few minutes. Then, remove the potatoes from the water and pat them dry."

Adrien asks as he gently pats the potato strips dry the way he saw his grandfather do it, "Like this, Grandpa?"

Elijah answers, "Yes, Adrien, just like that."

After the potatoes were patted dry, Elijah states, "Now, in order to fry the potatoes in small batches, make sure you fry them for up to three to five minutes until they go from shiny white to matte yellow. After that, drain them well on some paper towels."

Adrien nods and he does so.

Elijah then goes on, "Now, reheat the oil until it reaches three hundred and fifty degrees Fahrenheit, fry the potatoes again, also in small batches, and fry them until they're golden brown or until they're chewy with a slight crunch, or until they're crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside; the texture for eating and gripping is on you."

Adrien does so and fries the French fries until they're chewy with a slight crunch.

Elijah then drizzles some salt on the French fries without overdoing it, and Elijah then says, "Well, let's dig in, but be careful; French fries tend to be hot even when you take a bite out of them."

Adrien nods and blows on his French fries multiple times before digging in.

Adrien could confidently say he was happy to have finally met his biological paternal grandparents, even despite the fact that it took a couple of years until Gabriel was arrested and until Marinette and Tikki found a way to alter Adrien and Felix's physiologies from humanoid Sentimonsters to actual humans.

Elijah might've been enraged and disappointed in his only son for the things he did, for the things he could've done in the future if Nathalie had used the Peacock Miraculous to prevent him from being arrested in the first place, and the things his various counterparts all across the Quantic Multiverse had done, and if the narrator of Miraculous Ladybug was to be completely honest with the audience, that much was true.

But that didn't change the fact that Elijah Grassette was more than happy to make right what Gabriel did wrong in raising Adrien and to make up for the failures Elijah had made when he raised Gabriel.

And even though there'll come a time when either the native Gabriel would escape from prison or one of his counterparts would make their way to this universe, the Order of the Guardians and the French Miraculous Superhero Army are more than ready for any of those occurrences.

But if Elijah was also being honest, he didn't know if Adrien was making the right decision in taking over both his father's fashion company and the Grassette French fry restaurant that had been kept open for years even before Gabriel started his terrorist campaign as Hawk Moth, but Elijah will admit, with and without Adrien having an army of clones, all things in his life could be made possible.

(Author's notes: How's that for a post-credit omake bonus scene? And yes, this is one of the many bonus scenes depicting the future in this story, but it's nothing to be concerned about in terms of spoilers.

Just so you know, the next chapter will be altered in terms of how the heroes of Paris will contend with Timebreaker. But how that'll happen is a spoiler alert, so I ain't saying anything.
