HALA

Hala is a known in history as a very large planet which stood silent in the Large Magellanic Cloud. Serving as the heart of the Kree Empire, this world was populated by over 30,000,000,000 Kree, a race of blue-skinned near-human beings are technologically advanced and extremely militaristic, conquering every world in their galaxy. Outwardly the Kree resemble humans, with little exception through skin color or modified genetics. Denser skin with increase muscles flexibility gives the Kree endurance, durability, and stamina twice the level of humans. Over 60,000,000 years ago, the Xorrians were responsible for allegedly spawning the Kree from their own DNA. The Kree once had a historical rivalry with the Nova Empire. The two empires waged a protracted war with each other that lasted a thousand years. However, for centuries, many Kree came to believe that fighting in a war and conquering worlds was destroying the Kree Empire and decided to form the Kree Resistance Front. These Kree sought to make a change to the Kree Empire and secretly provide aid to the Skrull Empire and Nova Empire. Any Kree that were part of the Resistance Front swore an honorable pact that they will not stop until the Kree Empire comes to accept its terms in ending the war.

While the war was draining funds and resources from the Kree's war against the Skrulls, the Kree began considering ending the war. By 2012, the between the Kree and the Nova Empire had ended, thanks in no small part to the Nova Prime Irani Rael and the Kree Rebels forcing the Kree Emperor to sign a peace treaty. Although, the treaty was not popular among the Kree citizenry, as massive riots broke out across their homeworld when the news of it broke. However, the Kree Peace Battalion, which was formed from the Kree Resistance Front, was able to use its valuable resources to end the riots. After the riots ended, every Kree that refused to accept peace with the other ruling regimes across the galaxy, were banished from Hala and settled on New Hala. These Kree hoped that one day, they would gain their revenge and form a new empire that would rival against the Kree Empire, Nova Empire, and the Skrull Empire. Sometime following the Snap and before the Blip, the three Empires decided to form a grand alliance known as the United Front, in which together, they would stand against any future threats. Ever since the United Front was formed, many Kree from Hala took an interest on Earth and sought to form an alliance with the humans.

In hopes for this alliance to serve as a great future for the people of Earth, President Howard Mason of the United States of America decided to send Robert Bruce Banner and Carol Susan Jane Danvers to represent themselves to meet with the Kree Emperor and sign a treaty that was never to be broken. However, just when the treaty was about to be signed, the planet Hala had fallen under attack by the Sakaaran Natives. With the peace conference delayed, Carol Danvers and Bruce Banner decided to fight alongside the Kree. The two self-righteous Avengers were like partners, in which the two used the might of their strength and power to defeat the invaders. The Kree Emperor came to believe that the Kree of New Hala were responsible for sending the Sakaaran Natives to attack their world as retribution for being banished. However, the Kree of New Hala sent a message to the Emperor that they had nothing to do in sending these Sakaaran Natives to attack their world.

After the battle was over, Carol Danvers and Bruce Banner were having a conversation together while the Kree were handling the corpses and escorting Sakaaran Native prisoners.

"Are you sure that the Kree of New Hala really sent those Sakaaran Natives to attack Hala?" Professor Hulk asked.

"I can't be sure," Captain Danvers answered and deeply sighed. "Although, its good that the casualties aren't that high at all. Turns out we were able to save many lives on the planet. A world that was kept for six years."

"I know you feel as to what the Kree did to you, but you need to let go of the past, Captain Danvers," Professor Hulk insisted. "If you don't, then this part of you will always be a serious issue. You understand that right?"

"I do, Bruce," Captain Danvers sighed.

"So what now?" Professor Hulk asked.

"I need to find out from one of the commanding officers as to who sent these natives to attack Hala," Captain Danvers answered.

"Okay, I hope the answer we get may be either good or bad," Professor Hulk said.

After leaving Bruce Banner to speak with the Kree Emperor directly, Carol Danvers traveled to one of the Hala Prison Faciticities where many Sakaaran Natives were being held and to be awaited trial for their actions in attacking the planet in the first place. While the Kree had just allowed her to enter without authorization, she walks over to the cell of Macrothrax, the one responsible for leading the attack on Hala. Macrothrax snarled menacingly at her.

"We're going to have a very nice long chat you and I," Captain Danvers pretended to smile. "I'm going to ask you questions and your going to answer them."

"And if I say 'no'?" Macrothrax asked.

Carol sighed as she calmly blasts energy out of her fists towards a wall on the opposite side of the room. Macrothrax didn't seem to be scared at all.

"That's what will happen," Captain Danvers answered with a very calm, but threatening look on her face.

"Am I suppose to be scared?" Macrothrax chuckled.

"You will be until your ready to spill out the right words out of your insect mouth," Captain Danvers continued to threaten him. "Now, first question, why did you invade Hala?"

"I aimed to create a sentient insect army to rule over the planet, but not this world, other worlds as well ever since my old home planet was filled with reckless scraps," Macrothrax spat.

Carol could tell in his eyes that he was lying. In a moment of thought, she believed that Macrothrax was working for with the Kree of New Hala, but needed to be sure.

"I don't think that's possible," Captain Danvers refused to believe that.

"That's all I can give you," Macrothrax said.

Carol knew that he was wasting her time and so she grabs Macrothrax by the neck and hurls him backwards to the wall, threatening to kill him if he continued to refuse in answering her question.

"This is your last chance," Captain Danvers growled. "Lie to me again and I will make your life more painful then it is right now. You think you have the wits to play a game on me? Well, this is my game, I will start by burning every part of your body until your ready to say your words. Now, start talking. Why did you attack Hala?!"

"I'm not suppose to say his 'name'," Macrothrax choked.

"Ah, so we're getting there, whose your friend that you've been working for?" Captain Danvers demanded the specific answer as she continued to hold Macrothrax tightly around his neck. "Who is it?!"

"Sa... Sa... Sauron," Macrothrax choked out his answer.

"Whose Sauron?" Captain Danvers asked, wanting to know more about him. "Is he a Kree? Did he make a deal with you? To see retribution?

"He is a being of pure power," Macrothrax continued to explain as he was still being held by the neck. "He's not of this world. I came to him and we agreed to form this alliance to prepare for the last war. The one and only war that will cover every world in darkness. He sent me to interfere in your precious peace talks on this wretched world as a way to confuse you."

"So this attack wasn't a failure to you?" Captain Danvers asked, confused.

"It was a distraction, only for you," Macrothrax started to laugh. "Sauron knew about you. He knew of your power from the very beginning. And since the plan worked in all, he just delivered a good message to your planet."

"What?" Captain Danvers gasped.

"Sauron told me that he's been going after a person, who bares the power of the Iron Fist," Macrothrax answered more. "He has plans for him."

"Whose this guy your talking about?" Captain Marvel demanded the exact answer.

"I don't know his name, but it doesn't matter now," Macrothrax scoffed. "Do you understand now? This is only the beginning. Sauron will rise again and we will serve at his command. Together, we will be an unstoppable force that will spread through all worlds across this infinite universe. We will be the masters of the universe and you will die before you ever confront him on Arda. This is my message to you."

"Well let's hope that doesn't come to pass," Captain Marvel grinned. "But since you gave up your master's location, I'll be ready to find him."

"Good luck to you, Captain Vers," Macrothrax laughed.

When he said that name to her, Carol felt a sign of rage in her since she still hasn't forgotten how the Kree took her away from her home and spread lies to her for over six years while fighting in a war that misled her. At first, Captain Marvel had her own thought in wanting to kill him, but instead she releases her hold over him and turns to leave the cell where he continued to laugh wickedly.

"Its only the beginning!" Macrothrax laughed.

Meanwhile, in the Sanctuary II, Exile was sitting at the throne which once belonged to Thanos. For hours, he had been addressing a battalion of Sakaaran Natives that stood assembled at his command.

"Well done," Exile said. "This distraction was a masterpiece for our master's grand plan. But know this, we cannot expect to make any mistakes. Until the last cube is found, I will be ready to deliver it to him at once."
