Ch 16

The next mission for the Ghost crew was to stop the Empire from mining Kyber crystals on the Jedi planet Illum.

Ezra, Sabine, Zeb, and Mara went into the crystal cave where there were stormtroopers and Major Namanda guarding a large drill vehicle that was mining into a crystal wall, spraying crystal fragments everywhere.

Stormtroopers then picked up the still intact crystals and put them into canisters which were placed on hover sleds.

"They're mining for Kyber crystals." Ezra said.

"Maybe it's for Kyber weapons." Sabine replied.

"I've never seen another Kyber weapon besides a lightsaber." Mara noted.

"Whatever they're planning to do with the crystals is probably nothing good." Zeb concluded.

Then the rebels tossed down thermal detonators which rolled over to the Imperials and sent many stormtroopers flying with huge explosions.

"Blast them!" Namanda ordered, firing her sniper rifle.

"That didn't take them long." Zeb said.

Blaster bolts flew everywhere as the Ghost crew had a shootout with the stormtroopers.

Ezra and Mara cut down stormtroopers with their green and purple sabers.

Then a stormtrooper fired at Ezra.

Ezra deflected the blast and it hit a Kyber crystal embedded in the cave wall.

"Get down!" Ezra shouted.

A green energy beam spat out from the crystal after it absorbed the energy of the blaster bolt.

The heroes ducked the beam but it hit the back wall, causing rocks and crystal fragments to fall from the ceiling.

Then a rock was about to fall on the rebels but Ezra Force pushed them out of the collapsing cave and tackled Namanda away from the path of a falling rock.

"You saved me." Namanda said in surprise.

Ezra nodded. "But now we're trapped here."

"Can your lightsaber get us out?" Namanda asked.

Ezra tried to drill a hole into the wall of fallen rocks but it just made a tiny smoldering hole.

"The hole's not big enough." Ezra said. "So no."

"Well, I do have a thermal detonator but I only have one." Namanda replied.

She gave the bomb to Ezra and he sensed the weakest part of the wall with the Force, then pushed the bomb at it.

The bomb hit its target and blasted out a good chunk of the rock wall large enough for Ezra and Namanda to escape.

After that ordeal, Namanda joined the rebels since one of them had saved her and later they met in Namanda's room in the Yavin 4 base which had been retaken and repaired by the rebels.

"I never thought I'd be saved by a Jedi." Namanda said.

"Neither did I." Ezra replied with a smile.

Then they kissed slowly with lust.

Ezra kissed Namanda's collar bones and traced more kisses on her neck, making her moan softly.

Then they went against the wall and Ezra wrapped his legs around Namanda's waist as she kissed his abs and stroked one of his hips.

Ezra groaned with pleasure, then stroked her torso with a single finger.

Namanda gasped, then they kissed again but this time even longer.

Their tongues felt the warm walls of their mouths and they moaned into each other.

Then they went onto the bed and Namanda kissed Ezra's neck, then kissed his collar bones and the bridge of his nose, making him let out a sigh of passion.

Ezra had finally healed again.
