Warzone
The battlefield could be seen lit up with massive amounts of combat and chaos. From the ground and into the sky you would see Covenant forces and UMC forces battling each other with deep hatred and intensity. A wraith could be seen firing plasma mortars one after another with one striking a warthog destroying it in a blaze of fire. As it went to face another target a grizzly would turn around the corner and fire its double barrel cannon piercing the wraiths shield and hull. A second later it went up in blue flaming explosion to which the grizzly ignored and went on to the next target.
Marines were using destroyed vehicles as cover to fire at the Covenant forces in a fierce firefight. Once in a while a marine would get smashed in their armor by a plasma bolt but instead of falling to the ground dead, something else would happen. They would studder back as a small blue energy field would surround their form showing they had shields. It was something the Covenant learn quickly as they thought they could charge them with their own shields taking the damage and mow them down. It proved fatal when they tried to do so.
Just like when a pack of elites performed a charge through the line with their shields absorbing the damage of rifles firing at them. As they got closer firing their own plasma rifle, they were shocked to see the rounds being deflected by the shields. As this kept up one marine formed hand seals and slammed his hands on the ground making sand spikes pierce up from the ground skewering a few of them. From other sides fireballs started to smash into them wiping out more of them until there were one.
With a leap the elite drew its energy sword to take out as many as he could, only for a gloved fist to uppercut him in midair. Falling to its back stunned he looked up to see a demon. Numerous of them running past him charging the enemy as the one in front of him looked down and put a round through his head.
Miranda Uzumaki
The sky was lit up with combat as she currently had her ship engaging with a Covenant Frigate off to the starboard of the ship. She couldn't use her MAC at the moment due to the positioning but her other weaponry were doing well against the ship. A purple beam from the enemy ship smacked into her ship and absorbed by her ships shields in a yellow dome. In return cannons on her ship started firing blue beams striking against its shield but it was noticeable that those were slowly failing doing to its flickering.
"Let's end this. Have missile tube 25 to 100 target the shield generator. Hold all fire from on the starboard weapons. When the shields go down unleash everything upon them. Full barrage" she ordered her crew to which they went to work on her instructions. One of the officers typing away on his computer click a number on the screen and slid it down making them glow red.
At once tubes from the back of the ship opened up for numerous missiles to come launching out and smacking into the Covenant Frigate disabling the shields and causing damage upon the ship. With the shields down Miranda yelled "Fire, full barrage!". From her ship more missiles came shooting out with blue trail lasers, and explosive rounds. Gatling guns started firing rounds after rounds as laser cannons fire laser rounds one after another.
Within seconds the ship was being ripped apart as the weapons tore through everything they hit. Explosion after explosion occurred on the ship before it lost its hull integrity causing it to fall to pieces. With the ship now falling to the ground Miranda sent the alert to all ground forces of the incoming ship debris.
"Captain, phantoms, and pods have launched from the enemy ship! They are boarding us!" warned an officer making her eyes narrow.
"Alert all personal to prepare for combat" she stated kicking off her boots and tapping a button on her uniform allowing for it to fall down and onto her Captain's chair to reveal her wet suit she wore underneath. Stepping to the side into a small white outline box, she pressed a button on her chair. With the button activation, claws from underneath the floor appeared and start placing white Mjolnir Mark IV armor on her. Within seconds she was fully suited as her helmet slid down over her head.
"Lieutenant, you have the chair. I'm kicking these fucks off my ship" she declared stepping and grabbing a assault rifle off the nearby rack. Exiting the bridge and stepping off two armed Spartan III guarding the bridge doors stepped off and followed behind her.
Ground
Upon landing into the middle of the warzone Naruto immediately started gunning down grunts and elites left and right with his battle rifle. Leaping forward he kept this up eliminating everything in his way until he slowed down due to the combine fire upon him. Activating an ability in his armor, two floating pieces on him moved away and formed a wide blue shield barricade to defect the incoming shots.
Sliding to his side was Azula forming hand seals causing her right arm to discharge electricity. Finishing the jutsu she pointed her index and middle finger forward shooting a white beam of energy with electric sparks surrounding it. It sliced through the bottom of the wraith and when she lifts the fingers up, it cut clean through it and a banshee flying through the sky.
A ghost seeing the two, came in for a ram only for Boruto to come landing down on it yelling "Rasengan!" as he shoved a blue spiral of energy into it in a explosion. With the three starting to become a the main focus, Sadara appeared beside Naruto and started forming hand seals.
"Assistance" she requested as Naruto placed a single hand on her shoulder while still firing his battle rifle with his other. With not much thought needed, he flooded his chakra into her allowing her to use his massive chakra stores easily.
Feeling comfort and empowering chakra of her father's chakra ready for any command she wanted she took a deep breathe. "Katon: Gouka Mekkyaku"! Releasing her breathe, a fierce wave of flames came shooting out and destroying the Covenant forces in front. With her father's chakra, she could keep this up for what feels like endlessly as she only needed to use her chakra to guide it to where she wanted it to go.
Upon releasing the jutsu, they saw the front covered in flames, ruin, Covenant bodies, and glass until thud caught their attention. From behind the flames the group watched as a scrab covered in a little bit of flames approached them with the intention of incinerating them. The group looked upon it with no fear as it got closer. As it moved closer to them Nawaki and Tsuki slid down in front of them and slammed their hands on the ground.
Around the scrab the terrain shook some when roots and chakra chains came bursting from the ground wrapping around it. The scrab could be seen trying to break free from some roots only for more to come wrapping around the limb preventing it. It kept trying to break free with little to no success as Naruto now laid his hand on Hiro who arrived and performing hand seals. Hiro taking a deep breath released it on the last hand seal making frost come out the exhausts of the helmet. In a sudden move a massive iceberg shot out of the ground underneath the scrab, piercing all the way through. From the contact with the iceberg the remaining parts of the Scarab frozen over before shattering into pieces.
"Good work. Continue the push. The battle walkers are now deployed and moving forward" stated Naruto looking at the squad proudly. In the distance he could see the battle walkers moving forward and the battle was showing its conclusion with that.
The battle walkers were considered death with large legs. They didn't move fast but they shred and eliminate everything that came into range. From aircrafts to vehicles and grunts. They would lock onto all enemies in it range and removed them from the census with extreme prejudice. Some tried to fight back by firing all sorts of weapons to which they were absorbed by green colored extremely power shields.
In Amber Clad Hanger Bay
An elite had its necked snapped by Miranda as another spartan used the down brute's own hammer to eliminate it. Throwing the elite to the side, she unleashed a dagger into the back of a retreating skull head ending it as another Spartan approached her.
"Mam, all boarding enemies have been eliminated and we are now approaching the drop zone" he reported. Giving a nod she comm in the Lieutenant. "Launch the pods!" she ordered before disconnected once the order was received in order to grab her dagger.
The ship had now moved closer to the base that was now being assaulted by the UMC forces. Underneath the ship latches opened up for pods of different sizes to be ejected. With the base being so focused on the ground assault, they were ill prepare for it. Pods came smashing down through the structures and base to unleashed ODST and cyclops who rained hell and pain on every Covenant enemy in site with the purpose of causing panic and confusion within their lines.
A cyclops leaped into the air and landed down on a wraith crushing the hull and pilot as it fired off its cannon targeting any nearby forces. ODST troops were moving through the base planting C4 and denotating them. A nearby gun platform firing at the Frigate above went up in fire tipping to the side showing that another ODST team got to it.
With the fighting happening within their base drawing their attention, it allowed the UMC forces to dive through their fortified positions with the Spartans leading the charge. With the collapse of the front, the rest of the enemy ground forces became easy pickings for them. Within a few minutes the remaining stragglers were picked up as the Covenant Cruiser above decided to disengage leaving only one issue. The mobile fortress draugr. With the base going down, it decided to pull out and move away from the warzone. Most likely to stage another point of attack as those massive things could hold thousands of troops.
Naruto not wanting it to be free to cause issues wherever it pleases had already order nearby forces to pursue and engage it. Something he was currently doing so right now.
Space
The space battle taking place right now, would be consider chaotic. The Covenant were fighting them on different parts of the sector and they were not letting up even though they were being outgunned. They just had more ships slipspace in to replace them. On the positive note, no other planetary invasions occurred due to the tightening up of the defenses. It felt like they were marching to their death by a incompetent commander. It made Kushina wonder just how many members of the Covenant are there if they can just send them all to die here in droves.
