As Red and Leaf go and register Red spots a person with red hair wearing a navy blue long-sleeve vest leaning against the wall in a quiet corner of the Pokecentre. "Hey Leaf, I'm going to meet someone, so I'll see you later"
Leaf gives an understanding nod and notices someone with lilac hair in the centre before saying "Ok that's fine I'm going to see if one of my friends is here anyway."
"Ok bye" He says before starting to walk toward the red-haired person he also notices someone else walking toward them so he decides to get the person's attention. By yelling out "Yo Silver, how have you been?"
Startled Silver looks over to who called his name before having his eyes widen in shock over who called before stammering out "R-Red?! You're here, I thought Domino would've had to drag you down here."
"Hey! I'm not that bad little Brother" Red mock pouts at that remark.
Deadpaning Silver says "Sure you're not, and hello Paul how have you been?"
Startled at being noticed as he had not made much noise when he was approaching Paul grunts "Fine, but bloody hell Silver how did you know that I was here?"
"I could feel the mood drop the moment you started to approach me," Silver smirks at him.
"Damn, also you have a brother?" Paul asks surprised at that fact.
Red smirks as Paul glances over at him and is confused and shocked for a moment "What Meowth got you're tongue?"
Shaking his head Paul says, "No it's just that you look like one of my old rivals"
Red starts to smirk for a moment which allows his amusement to be seen by Silver who tries to hide his laughter. "Really? When was this person a rival of yours?"
"You know the Sinnoh league that had a trainer who had a fucking Darkrai" Paul explains to Red.
Red nods "Yeah... oh you're the guy who had the best match in the whole league that was in the quarter-finals"
Paul slightly smiles at the fact that the match was one of the biggest matches in the whole league and that the semi-finals and finals couldn't even oppose that battle. "Yeah, that's the one."
"Damn, I didn't realise that both of my brothers have had more exciting battles than I have," Red says in mock disappointment.
Not fully catching what that meant Paul nods before yelling out. "Wait! You both are the brothers of Ash Ketchum!"
"Half-brother, but yes." Silver mentions.
"Want a microphone so that everyone can hear that." Red quips with a smirk.
"Wait Silver you're Ash's half-brother?" Paul asks.
Red taking the lead for the question answers, "Yeah same father, different mother, and before you ask I'm his older twin. I also use my middle name as my last name to avoid attention."
"How has no one asked you about your similar looks then?" Paul wonders now that he is looking at Red properly.
A smirking Silver answers this, "Edgy bastard doesn't enter towns or cities often and when he does he is there for maybe a night before disappearing. The only city he stays at for long periods is Veridian, but that is due to our sister threatening him."
"Oi!" Red hisses at Silver.
A confused Paul asks, "Sister?"
"Yeah, our father adopted her when Ash and I were 4, she is also a year older than us," Red says explaining some of his family history.
Shocked completely over the fact that his greatest rival has 2 brothers and a sister, Paul tries to figure out why none of his friends knew about them, causing him to ask. "So does any of Ash's friends know about you lot?"
"No." Red/Silver both say at the same time.
"Do I dare ask why that is?" Paul asks.
Silver growls out. "It's mainly because Delia hates Red to the point that it was deemed unsafe for him to stay there for the two weeks they stayed in Pallet."
"And this goes to his friends how?" Paul asked confused.
Red says "Ash was aware that they didn't care for him but put up an act of a dense fool to make them believe that he was weak and oblivious to romance. That and they wanted to take his Pokemon that were at Professor Oak's lab the day after he was killed."
"Arceus... So where are Ash's Pokemon? I know they are not in Pallet Town." Paul mutters then asks.
The reason that Paul knows this is that when he went and travelled through Kanto he wanted to see if he could train his Electivire with Ash's Infernape, but upon speaking to Gary and Professor Oak learned that all of Ash's Pokemon had been taken by some who they trusted but didn't give a name or gender of who took them.
Red speaks up with the response "I have them."
"How does that work, Ash had over thirty Pokemon and that doesn't include the Pokemon that you caught." Paul wondered
"Professor Oak made it so that I don't have a carry limit and there are some Pokemon that are with our father and sister," Red says with a shrug.
As the three men are talking a group of 11 people walk in and start to make their way to where the sign-in place is, and when they get there, one of them rushes to where Leaf is standing and starts speaking loudly. "Oh, dear maiden my heart is rushing at the sight of you, and can you plea-"
As the person started to speak Leaf looked at him in shock and some disgust before a tug to the ear by one of the females that are in the group stopped him. "And this is why we said to bring Toxicroak with you."
"Ah, my ear, please Misty, let go."
This scene made the whole building go quiet as it is something that non of the people in the room had seen and the ones that have seen it ignore it like it happens a lot.
"Isn't that them, Red?" Silver asks after recovering from seeing that.
Red nods, "Yeah. Well, I'll catch up with you two later I need to register still for the tournament and prepare for the longest time that I am going to be in a populated area."
"Later bro," Silver says before turning to Paul.
"Bye Red," Paul grunts before getting into a conversation with Silver.
As Red goes and registers for the tournament he doesn't notice that someone is watching him.
