Early Morning in the IceWing Dungeons, Icicle's Cell. No One's POV
Icicle was sitting in her cell, waiting for dinner to come. 'I wonder what kind of punishment I'll get after my trial next week?' She thought, right before she noticed a small icy blue box not too far from her on her left. 'Where did this come from?' She thought as she picked it up.
She then opened it and saw a silver necklace with three snowflakes with light blue diamonds at the center of each one hanging along the chain. "Wow! I've never seen anything like this. It's so beautiful." Icicle said as she took the necklace out of the box.
As she did, she noticed it had a magical feel to the touch to it, but she ignored it, thinking that it was her mind playing tricks on her.
She then slipped the necklace on, and when it was completely touching her scales a bright glow appeared around her. "What's happening?!" She yelled.
The guards then came to see what was going on, but by the time they arrived, it was too late. Icicle was gone.
"We must alert Queen Snowfall!" One of the guards, General Ivory, said to her companion and Icicle's older brother, Hailstorm. He just nod his head yes, but it was obvious that he was worried for his younger sister.
'How did she get out of the first place though? And what was that glow we saw as we were coming in?' He thought as they went to tell the Queen of their tribe.
As soon as they told her, the six year old Queen of the IceWings was more confused than angry. "How did Icicle get out?" She wandered out loud.
"I'm going to have a team investigate her cells as soon as I can your Majesty." Ivory said.
Snowfall nodded her head approvingly. "Good. You two get it right away. I also want you to tell Husky that I want to see him right away." She told the two.
They bowed their heads before they left.
A half hour after the two left, an male moon-silver IceWing with sky blue eyes and pale purple horns and claws walked into the throne room. This was Husky, one of Snowfall's most loyal messengers. Despite him being not that much older than Snowfall herself, ever since Pantala was saved he has been very efficient with taking messages from Snowfall to the other Queens. "You wanted to see me?" He asked.
"Yes, I did." She replied as she placed a scroll into an icy blue container with white snowflakes. "I want you to deliver this to Queen Coral. I don't care if you take a peak at it, but make sure that Tundra doesn't read it." She told him.
Husky bowed his head and left the room.
As soon as he was outside the gates and was far enough away, Husky took the scroll out of the container and rolled it open. His eyes went wide at what he read. "I have to take this to Queen Coral right away!' He thought as he rolled the scroll up, put it back into the container, and flew off.
When Icicle came to(the light caused her to pass out)she saw that she was no longer in the Ice Palace dungeon, or in the Ice Kingdom for that matter.
"Where am I? I've been everywhere in the Ice Kingdom, so I know that I'm nowhere in the Kingdom." Icicle said, standing up.
She then noticed that the light changed her form as well. "Great Ice Spirits! Why am I a scavenger, and what am I wearing?!" Icicle said.
She was now a sixteen year old human girl with snow white skin, long white hair with silver in it, and arctic blue eyes. She had on an ice blue and pale purple dress, silver and white gloves, pale purple socks with ice blue strips at the top, and pale blue shoes with white straps. She also still had her horns, wings, and tail. As well as the necklace that she found and most likely brought her here.
"Okay. Since I don't know where I am, I better look around. Let's try this way." Icicle said before heading to the right.
But little did she know, someone sensed her arrival and of the adventures that await her.
"Hey Q, did you feel that?" A young man asked a strange creature that was beside him.
"Qeow!" The creature replied in a meow that started with q instead of m.
"Well, I better go. Remember to stay safe!" With that the young man left.
'Now I'm sensing things? What in the world is happening to me?' He thought as he left the forest.
That's the Prologue of The Exorcist and The Exiled Ice Princess my Pooldancers!
And here what Queen Snowfall's letter to Queen Coral says.
Dear Queen Coral, Icicle escaped from the dungeons today. I want to make sure that she didn't have help, and I understand that you have an Anmus touched conch shell that glows whenever someone is lying. I was wondering if it's alright if I could borrow it so I could use it to interrogate possible suspects. Sincerely, Queen Icicle.
