Two days later, Lucy looks for Luke. Luke looks at her as she enters his room.
"What do you want, Lucy?" Luke asked. "Well?"
"I'm sorry, I really am…" She says.
Luke looks at her for a long time. She looked guilty.
Luke soon came down to breakfast.
Lana was stuffing her face as Luke sat in his spot at the table. He hissed at his plate.
"What's wrong?" Lori asked.
"Today will go wrong!" Luke hissed.
After breakfast, Luke is at the twins' house.
"Birthday bash!" Alem tuber says as Skylia wasn't home.
He says this as Luke is walking into the house with boxes full of party stuff. Luke then hisses as he begins working.
Angry Luigi sighed, not in a good mood. But, it's not Luke's fault.
"Look, Mom's going out to get some errands done. Tonight, we let Luke know why he's the greatest party planner ever." Angry Luigi says. "Let's go!"
"Who named you leader?" Emma teased as Alem tuber high-fived her.
"Let's go!" Angry Luigi says.
Luke starts putting the "Around The World" theme together, and he starts by decorating with some travel-themed stuff like suitcases and airplanes and some world maps. Then he starts setting up tables and chairs, and then he puts the "Around The World"-themed centerpieces that he made on each table.
"Nice!" Lucy says.
"Thanks." Luke says. He was now setting up the favor table with mini suitcases, assorted types of travel-themed favors, different types of candy, and an "airport adoption agency", where there were different types of stuffed animals up for "adoption", complete with collars and customizable tags.
"Arctic blue velvet cake, nachos, popcorn…is all this for our day?" Alem tuber asked, annoyed.
"Maybe…" Angry Luigi says sheepishly.
"Listen, you better not think of giving this day to Luke if you do I'll make ya regret it." Alem tuber says as Emma got golf clubs.
"Let's go! We have a lot of work to do!" Angry Luigi says.
"You're not the boss…" Emma says, tired.
"Listen, do you want Luke to be depressed all the time?" Angry Luigi asked.
"Aren't you being hunted?" Alem tuber asked.
"Which is why we need to be ready for anything." Angry Luigi says.
With Luke, he was on the phone with the catering company. He had planned quite a menu for this worldly birthday celebration. There would be food stations that would feature delicious worldly cuisine, such as a Mexican beach hut where there would be chicken and vegetable fajitas, a New Orleans carnival stand featuring Cajun crawfish and gumbo, a Japanese sushi bar, a Chinese noodle stand, an Italian pizza shop, a Spanish taco stand, and much more. Luke had yet to finish the cake and desserts.
At Savannah's house, she was working on the desserts and the cake. She cracked her knuckles as she got the eggs, sugar, flour, icing, and a bag of her special sugar.
"Okay, I should also get blueberries." Savannah says and sees she didn't have enough and fainted.
Later, Savannah goes to get blueberries for the pie and muffins as she overhears Stephen planning to make a pie for Brandy. She glared a bit, wanting to do it for him as she purchased the blueberries.
Meanwhile, Emma played "Holding Out For A Hero" as Amber hung up an image of Luke as Angry Luigi sped around, putting balloons everywhere.
"Wait, so let me get this straight. Despite Luke getting a party two days ago, you wanna give him another? Over my dead body!" Alem tuber says.
"Luke deserves something and he's better than us." Angry Luigi says.
Skylia comes home right at that moment.
Luke was finishing with the hanging of the big birthday banner he made. He then climbed down and observed his work. He thought everything looked great. He only hoped the twins would like it.
"Nice!" Leni says.
"Thank you." Luke says. "All that's left to do is to set up the dessert table."
Meanwhile, Bill was working on his gift. It was a snow machine.
Wlem and Wandy spied on Angry Luigi and Alem tuber and smirked.
"Let's get them." Wlem said as Wandy nodded. They sneak up on the twins.
Angry Luigi and Alem tuber were heading off to find Luan.
"Luan, could you make a cake?" Alem tuber asked, annoyed.
"Oh, sure!" Luan says. "May I ask why?
"For Luke…" Alem tuber says, arms crossed as he looked like he wanted to punch something.
Luan smiled. "I'll make one right now!" She says and starts making the cake.
"Since you think Luke's so much better than us, let's never celebrate again." Alem tuber says sarcastically.
"Okay." Angry Luigi says.
"You're an idiot." Alem tuber says as Luan finished with the cake and gave it to the twins.
Later, they arrive home. Luke just finishes the dessert table without another word.
The twins actually didn't notice the party and headed to their room.
"What the?!" Savannah asked.
"I…I…I knew….th-they'd h-hate….hate it…" Luke started to cry.
"No, they don't, they've been working on something for you." Emma says.
"They…hate….they hate it…." Luke starts breaking.
"Luke, honey, didn't you hear? They don't hate it, sweetheart…" Charity says.
The guests came as they put the gifts in a corner.
"Hey, is anyone listening? If so, they can't live to tell the story!" Alem tuber says.
"Yeah, our private discussions are the only reason I haven't committed suicide." Angry Luigi says.
They soon come down.
"Surprise! Happy birthday!" everyone says as the twins were stunned.
Everyone was smiling at the birthday boys, who can't believe Luke did all this for them.
"Awesome party, Luke!" Alem tuber says.
Luke looks up at them, half-broken.
Angry Luigi and Emma lead him to a pizza parlor. Confetti fell on Luke.
"Huh?!" Luke asked. He looked confused.
There was a banner that said "Thank You, Luke Huntington!" and there were decorations everywhere.
"Surprise!" Luke's friends say.
Luke was rendered speechless.
"Okay, let's head back to our party." Alem tuber says to his brother and heads off.
At the party, everyone was having a great time dancing and doing the different activities such as the photo booth and the travel-themed midway games Luke came up with.
"Okay, time for the birthday bash." Alem tuber says.
"If it makes you happy, I guess" Skylia says.
Emma looks around.
"Oh, snap, this just got fun!" Alex says as Alem tuber punches his fists.
"You only won last year because of Luke." Alem tuber says to Angry Luigi.
"Or we can have pie instead." Angry Luigi says, who was emotionally damaged.
"Coward." Alem tuber says.
Connor gave Luke his gift. It was a framed photo of the last party Luke threw for Connor.
"I never forgot about the life-size foosball game we played at this party, or my birthday cake that was the size of a major league soccer field…" Connor says. "It was the talk of the school for weeks! The soccer team was talking about it for months and never made me forget about how fun it was!'
Luke smiled and opened Garrett's gift. It was a book all about party planning, which included the elusive black & white theme Luke was looking for. Luke grinned and hugged Garrett.
Lucy was planning Charity's half-birthday at home. But she didn't want a half-birthday party at home. Lucy thinks of a place.
At the twins' party, the bash commenced, but some destruction happened in the process, thanks to Wlem and Wandy crashing the party.
"You!" Alem tuber says as the bullies run off.
Angry Luigi looked down as Alem tuber was mad.
Luke and Chalice danced as people cheered. It was trending.
Before he went to eat, he decided to check on things at the twins' party through the camera app on his phone. He gasped. All of his hard work…gone. All 7 hours of it. His face fell.
"At least your party is okay." Garrett says. But Luke burst into tears and ran into the bathroom, sobbing.
Angry Luigi broke. He couldn't protect his siblings, Savannah was hurt, and Emma was injured.
Angry Luigi leaves, deciding to end it.
Jason groaned as the explosion left him in a concussion.
Angry Luigi leaves for a high building.
With Luna, she was concerned.
At Luke's party, he was sobbing in a bathroom stall.
"Are you okay? What's going on?" Stephen asked.
Garrett showed Stephen the video footage of Luke's work being damaged. Stephen gasped in shock. He knew how hard Luke had worked on that whole party. That was 7 hours of life that Luke was never going to get back.
Alem tuber just looked down, annoyed as tanks drove to his party as Octi Inc. shot the cake.
"My cake!" Alem tuber says.
"Get ready to die!" Anti-hybrid says.
They all shot fire as the cosmic buddies dodged.
Meanwhile, Lucy was stressed out, planning funerals and also parties. But when she heard Luke was broken, she rushed to the pizza parlor, where Luke's friends were all consoling him.
Lucy holds him.
"ALL MY HARD WORK! ALL 7 HOURS OF IT! GONE! GONE! GONE!" Luke sobbed.
"Sorry." Lucy says.
"Some comfort you're being." Garrett says as he rubs Luke's back.
"I'm just speechless, okay?" Lucy says.
The other siblings soon come and offer their comfort.
"They did enjoy it. You did a great job…" Leni says.
Luke just sobbed and shook.
Meanwhile, Brandy sighed, wanting to end his life as he jumped off the building and fell hard.
Alem tuber rushed and punched Anti-hybrid and kicked him.
Chrissy leaped and shot plasma waves at the tanks.
Anti-hybrid shot goo at Alem tuber, who dodged as Anti-hybrid shot crystals. Alem tuber blasted them.
Delta kicked Card Shark.
"Poor Luke…" Jason says as Savannah looks at her hard work.
"Where's Brandy?" Skylia asked.
Meanwhile, the siblings took Luke home as Lucy read him a poem. Luke was sobbing as he threw his planning notebook into the fireplace.
This was on the news.
"Ouch, they got their butts kicked!" Lola laughed.
"Leave my Munchkin alone!" Luna says.
Luke watched the video of his hard work being destroyed even more and he couldn't take it anymore as he broke.
"JUST SHUT UP! BE QUIET!" Luke shouted as he cried. He was now ripping pages out of his planning notebook and throwing them in the fireplace. Luke sobbed and shook as he did this.
Lucy stops him. Luke looks up at Lucy.
"What do you want?!" Luke asked coldly. "What do you have to say now?!"
"You-you-you…" Lucy sobbed.
"What about me?" Luke asked.
"You can't give up!" Lucy sobbed as she tried to save the already-burning pages.
She burned her hand grabbing them, but Lana extinguished the fire while Leni healed Lucy's hand.
Luke just looked down.
Lucy sniffed. "You hate me, don't you?" Lucy sniffed.
Luke shook his head. He wasn't blaming Lucy for any of this.
Meanwhile, the "Luke's ruined work" footage surfaced online. It was clear that a lot of people were sharing it with their friends. And it soon went viral.
"Wow…" Remy says.
"2 million views in just an hour…" Garrett says.
The triplets did a reaction video just to mock the Cosmic buddies.
Delta spin dashed into a bunch of soldiers as Skylia used magic, knocking them down
"No one hurts my babies!" She says furiously.
"Fine, I'll find him." Alem tuber says. But Savannah had left.
She arrived and saw that Angry Luigi's body is broken.
"No!" She gasped. She feels his body. He was still alive. "Somebody help!" She pleaded.
People just took pictures.
Meanwhile, Luna played Luke's favorite music to cheer him up. Luke sniffed and managed a smile.
Lucy reads him a poem, then Luan tells him some jokes. Luke giggles.
"Okay, Cosmic buddies, we may have lost, but we can still save this birthday." Bill says.
"How?" Savannah asked. "Luke is probably not going to want to plan for us anymore after what happened tonight. It's all over the internet now."
"We can do it without Luke." Bill says as they do so.
Brandy woke up, but he was mentally broken.
"A make-shift party, okay…" Delta says and speeds off, getting some stuff and uses super speed to put balloons and stuff all over the place.
"Don't you get it? I'm doomed, they're coming…" Brandy says.
"I hope so, cause I want payback. No one hurts my friends and mentally breaks Luke!" Jason says. Jason goes off to check on Luke.
"So much for getting payback and sticking with your friends." Bill called out to Jason.
"Jason, come back, we should stick together!" Savannah says.
"Sorry. But I have to check on Luke. He is my friend. And his work was ruined tonight, so I'm going to spend time with him." Jason takes his leave.
"Brandy needs you." Savannah says, but Jason was already gone.
The cosmic buddies get to work as Jason was thrown into the window.
"Jason?" Savannah asked "I knew this would happen!"
"Luke is on a rampage. You guys screwed up big time." Jason says before cleaning his wounds.
"Who screwed up?" Savannah asked.
"Take three guesses." Jason says.
"Is he blaming us for what something Wlem and Wandy caused?" Randy asked.
"No. He's blaming everyone but me, Savannah, Brandy, and his siblings." Jason says.
"Why?" Bill asked.
"Because you guys have no idea how long it took Luke to put this party together for the twins. It took months to plan and he worked for 7 hours to put the whole thing together! But I think none of you really care about Luke's business or the lengths he goes to just to see his clients enjoying his work!" Jason says, cracking his knuckles.
"You wanna go, Jason? Because we do care at times, but sometimes we stay away because Lola claims we need to get out of his life!" Delta says "Yeah, we get the blood, sweat, and tears thing. And we do feel bad for him, but we trust you and his friends to help Luke when he's down. We can't really help him. But, if it's a fight you want, it's a fight you'll get." Delta says and kicks Jason, sending him into a crystal sculpture of Randy.
Jason gets up and storms off, because he's going to try and calm Luke down.
"Jason, no!" Angry Luigi says as there was a bunch of golden drones as Asyuard smirked.
"Happy birthday." He says
"Oh, crud…" Jason says.
"Oh, yes, you cosmic buddies are going to be humiliated." Asyuard says.
The siblings hold Luke. " You did your best and that's all anyone can ask for." Lori says
"Yeah, you're amazing! Even if you fail, you somehow get up." Lana says.
Luke's tears overtook his eyes. This was the party that would have gotten him back on top of the party planning game. But it just had to be ruined. His work just had to go to waste. Chalice holds him.
"What about the Fairway University Sophomore Hop or the mayor's birthday party?" Leni suggested.
"They didn't pick me to do the Sophomore Hop. They picked someone else." Luke says. "They overlooked me."
"Maggie's sick and also Cuphead needs my help." Lucy lied and left.
"No one will ever see my hard work ever again!" Luke sobbed.
"I really got to get to Luke." Jason says.
"And we were finally getting respected as heroes…" Jack says.
Asyuard grabbed Delta and slammed her down as Chrissy kicked and punched him as he blasted her.
Delta hits him with a flurry of kicks and spin attacks as Alem tuber growled and turned Super Saiyan Blue and shot a final flash, causing lots of damage to houses and trees and what was left of Luke's work as Asyuard took no damage and kicked Alem tuber in the nuts.
"You stay away from my brother!" Alem tuber says.
"Luke's work! Which could have been fixed by magic!" Emila says
"Are you kidding me?! You're telling me magic could have done the trick and you waited until now?!" Amber asked.
"…yes." Emila says.
Emila fixed the party using magic. Alem tuber grabbed his brother "You won't break Luke any further!" he says and tossed him to Delta.
"After me!" Delta says and teleports to a desert, but Asyuard followed her and shot a blast as Delta dodged. She rushed around causing a sand tornado as Asyuard blocked.
"Hope is for fools…" Brandy says as his body had cracks in a few places.
"Insanity, you win." He says, fully broken as a white aura rose up.
"Oh, no…" Delta says.
Insanity smirked and kicked Asyuard, sending Asyuard flying as Insanity shot energy flames. Asyuard blocked.
The triplets were recording, wanting him to lose on camera.
"I've got this." Insanity says.
"No…no…no…" Luke says as he rocks back and forth. "Luke is broken…Luke is shattered…"
Lucy got word and showed Luke the fixed party as all of Luke's hard work was restored.
"Luke can't comprehend…" Luke says. "Luke's not understanding right now…"
"He's still broken, Luce-Change." Luna says. "He isn't going to listen right now."
"But the party is fixed now, maybe we can take him and show him the fixed party." Lucy says.
"How will that fix him, Lucy?" Luna asked.
"He mentally broke because of the party being ruined. Maybe showing him that his work is fixed could fix him." Lucy says.
"Well, it's worth a shot." Luna says.
They took Luke to the party. Luke hissed at it.
"It's your work, your best and amazing work…" Jason says.
Luke slowly looks around. He hissed quietly as he looked.
Everything was fixed.
"Oliver is a baby, and Luke is mentally broken. Earth is doomed." Asyuard says and blasts Insanity, sending Insanity down.
Insanity tries to get up as Asyaurd used a yellow whip slashing Insanity sending him up.
"You're right, the Earth is doomed and I'll be the reason, not you." Insanity says, shooting lightning at Asyuard, who shot a huge blast.
Delta kicked Asyuard and spin dashed him and shape-shifted into Bill Cipher and shot blue flames
"Shape-shifter." Insanity says as Bill Cipher laughed and shapeshifted into Megatron punching Asyuard before reverting to normal.
Asyuard looked annoyed as Insanity punched Asyuard, sending him flying.
Insanity huffed, having used his energy as Angry Luigi had control.
Soon the party was on as Brandy opens Skylia's gift, getting a new iPhone.
Luke smiled a bit, happy that his work wasn't wasted.
Lucy was alone looking guilty. The Sophomore Hop committee chose her, but she didn't tell Luke.
"He'll hate me if I tell him." She sniffed.
"He already knows." Beau says.
Lucy sobbed.
"Time for some rock and roll!" Luna says as the Moon Goats were performing for them.
"You asked for them?" Emma asked.
"No, they just chose to." Angry Luigi says as he dances awkwardly.
Luke was hurt when he heard the Sophomore Hop committee chose Lucy. He couldn't believe that the university chose her over him. He didn't feel useful to the university anymore.
They played games like freeze tag and some board games like Sorry, Life, and Monopoly.
The new video game was available with Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad Angry Luigi, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow, Cuphead, Mugman, Chalice, Luke, and Lucy. All playable characters.
"Why am I not playable?" Alem tuber asked.
"Cause you're too overpowered." Bill says.
"That is true, but isn't Luke overpowered?" Alem tuber asked. Bill shook his head.
"Hey, Brandy, you okay?" Skylia asked as Brandy sniffed, looking down.
"Why are you sad?" She asked him.
"I'm useless. Sometimes I want to end it all." He says.
"You have people here who love you very much." Skylia says.
Soon, it was pinata time. Luke wasn't inside enjoying his pinata handiwork, however.
Lynn hit the pinata as candy fell out. Lynn gave her candy to Luke.
"Here, you've earned it." Lynn says.
"Thanks…" Luke says sadly.
Later, it was cake time, but before that, Randy got a call.
"Yes, I would like to be on the show. Yes, my team is ready to go." He says.
"Guys, we're going to be in the Super Competition! We're going to finally show everyone what we can do!" He says.
"Awesome!" Delta says.
Brandy sees his pie and cake that Savannah and Luke baked.
Everyone sang to them as Brandy wished to be smarter and Randy wished to win at America's Next Hitmaker.
Later, Luan heads home. Luke just storms ahead of her.
The siblings all glare at Lucy, who was shaking and scared.
"What did they see in you that they didn't see in Luke?" Charity asked.
Lucy says nothing. "I want to go to bed." She says and does so.
"Luke's gone. He says he'll never return and we all know who to blame." Lola says.
"No one is blaming anybody for this." Charity says as she is bottle-feeding baby Oliver.
Luke was sobbing in his room at Inkwell Castle. Chalice holds him.
"Why did they choose her?!" Luke sobbed. "I had ideas for the Sophomore Hop! But they just went and chose LUCY!"
Chalice's reassurances help Luke sleep. Luke sniffs.
Angry Luigi sighed, not sure if he is a hero or not and knew he didn't deserve to live.
