Luke woke up next to Chalice. He was still sad inside.
"Come on, we should get up." She says.
"What's the use? The university doesn't want to use me anymore." Luke says sadly as he gets dressed.
Chalice pitied him.
Lucy was sadly working on her plans. The university counted on her.
Luke later came to the university and walked with Chalice and the cups to class.
"Yo, can the Elemental Strike perform for the Sophomore Hop?" A student asked. Luke sadly nodded as Chalice said "yes".
Luke then put his hood over his face so nobody could see his tears of rejection.
Lucy sighed as she had to head to the University soon to talk to the principal and the Sophomore Hop committee.
"Hello, I think Luke should do this. Not me." Lucy says.
Luke cried in his Golfing Economics class.
Everyone pitied him as they just looked at him, remembering what happened yesterday and how Luke got rejected for the Sophomore Hop planning.
"Lucy, listen, for a while, Luke's been planning all our events. We want other students to have opportunities to showcase how they can be good. It's nothing personal." The principal says. Lucy tears up, knowing it was over. That was all Luke needed to hear before he just straight up went to pack his stuff and go home. He was heartbroken.
She sees Luke in his dorm room, packing his stuff.
"I wanted you to do it, but they didn't budge! This is my fault…" Lucy sniffed.
Luke finishes packing and goes off to load his car. "They rendered me useless. I see how it is." Luke says coldly.
Lisa hugged Luke, trying to calm him down.
"They don't want me anymore, so I'm going to find a different university to attend. Someone who'll want me and won't render me useless to them!" Luke says to Lisa.
The principal realizes he was wrong and talks to Luke.
"Give me one good reason why I would even consider staying after what you said about me!" Luke shouted, hurt on the inside.
"Well, your sister did want to help you plan this, so if we let you both plan the Sophomore Hop, will you stay?" The principal asked. Luke gives it some thought.
"Okay, fair enough." Luke says. "But…if I don't get credited for doing this, I will leave!" He nods.
Luke and Lucy spent a few weeks planning and soon, it was the big day. April 6th.
Luke refused to go at first because his wife was going with someone else. Lucy comforts him and offers to take him herself. Luke nods, accepting Lucy's offer. He then puts on his favorite tuxedo and goes with Lucy. Lucy wore a nice dress.
When Chalice saw Luke, she looked ashamed.
"Luke, I'm sorry!" Chalice says.
"WHO ASKED YOU TO THE SOPHOMORE HOP?!" Luke asked tearfully. "TELL ME!"
She pointed at Beau. Luke understood, but was still hurt.
"We'd like to thank our party and event planner, Luke Huntington, for planning this Great Gatsby Gala-themed Sophomore Hop!" Roger says. Lucy didn't mind Luke taking all the credit for this. After all, he did do a lot of the work.
Luke just teared up, forcing a smile.
After the Sophomore Hop, Lucy goes to be on her own for 9 months as she was planning Charity's half-birthday.
Luke looked at the pictures of him and Chalice, tearing up.
Lucy holds Luke.
On Luan's birthday, Lucy was busy with a funeral and Lola had a pageant. But Luan didn't mind, mostly because she had plans to celebrate with Benny, anyway.
Sid and Ronnie Anne were on vacation, so they stopped by.
They comfort Luke.
On the day prior to the show, Luke just looked at Chalice for a long time before practicing with her.
Luke still couldn't believe Chalice took Beau to the Sophomore Hop.
Alem tuber and Angry Luigi were practicing as well. They had entered the show this season just to show how well they work together.
"Hey, Lucy, wanna do it?" Cuphead asked, wanting to team up with her. But Lucy looked unsure.
"Please, Lucy?" He asked.
"Sure." Lucy says, but she was starting to regret it.
Savannah and Tina were a team and Luna and Sam were also a team.
Beau thinks about it. He then smiled and thought about entering it with Lisa. Lisa agreed after a nice steak dinner and a chocolate fondue fight, which resulted in the two of them licking each other clean from top to bottom.
Lucy was going to be, but realizes she shouldn't do it. Mugman was Cuphead's brother. The fans wanted "Cuppy & Mugsy" back this season, and Cuphead couldn't say no to that. So, he and his brother would be back in the show.
Connor & Carol entered, as this would be their first time competing.
The next day, Alem Tuber and Angry Luigi was on a talk show.
"So, Randy, what possessed you to team up with your brother this season?" the host says
"He's at Luke's level and I'm really good. My mom says we have the potential to be the ultimate duo, so I'm taking the gold home." Randy says as fans were excited.
"Interesting." the host says.
"Now, if you'll excuse us, we have lots of preparations to attend to." Randy says.
"Lisa's entering?" Luna asked.
"With Beau, yes." Luan says.
The siblings except Leni and Lucy laugh, not knowing Lisa's potential. Beau scowled at the ones who laughed at Lisa.
"No, it's okay, Beau-Beau, let's let them stay this way when they see me on stage. Then they won't laugh." Lisa says.
"Good luck, my love." Margo says to Mugman as she kisses him.
"Thank you." Mugman says. "I'm happy to go back on stage. Will you take care of things while I'm on my tour?"
She nods while holding Jackson.
"Be good for your mother, little guy." Mugman says to Jackson, who babbles and laughs.
"That's my little man…" Mugman smiles. "It's hard to believe you're almost 3…"
Lucy was planning Jackson's birthday as he was her soon-to-be-nephew.
"Hello!" Bella says as Alem tuber looks annoyed. Angry Luigi's confidence was really low.
"Cheer up, we got this." Alem tuber says.
The show started as fans were cheering.
"Luke and Chalice!" Some fans chant.
"Bella and Beth!" Some fans chant.
"Savannah and Tina!" Fans cheered.
"Cuppy and Mugsy!" Fans cheered.
April and Gemma appeared on stage, each of them holding a number 1 and smiling.
"Welcome to season 11, ladies and gentlemen! And boy, do we have quite the show planned for this season!" April says. "We're traveling to fun locations to present amazing performances! So, where are we tonight, you ask? Gemma, take it away!"
"Thank you, April. Tonight, our season 11 opener is taking place in none other than New York City!" Gemma says. "Tonight's show will have no theme. We just want to show what our teams have in store for this season. This season's grand prize will be a great reward! Tell us more, April!"
"With pleasure, Gemma! This season's grand prize is truly going to wow our teams! The grand prize this season will not only consist of a personal tour and a recording contract from Starshine Records, but it will also consist of $11,000,000 and of course, an entire summer with Ryder Richmond himself, and need I mention the photo shoots on all the world's beaches?"
"I love him! Bella, win this for me!" Marry says.
"Savannah, we need to win!" Tina screamed.
"Connor, that's a dream come true for me! I've always wanted to meet him…" Carol says, sighing dreamily.
"We all know the records. I've never lost." Chalice says.
"This is a big competition." Luna says.
"Damn straight! Beating Bella will be tough, though." Alem tuber says.
"This is going to be awesome!" Bella says.
"Coming up first, making their America's Next Hitmaker debut, Carol and Connor Pingrey!" April says.
They come on stage, soccer balls in hand and dressed in custom "Hitmakers" soccer uniforms. They start their routine to "Come Alive" by Years & Years, all while showing off some wicked soccer skills.
Fans cheer for the sibling duo.
"Coming up next is a twintastic duo, the heroic and amazing Brandy and Randy Waterlash!" Gemma says as fans cheered loudly.
The twins come out as the crowd watches them. They begin their performance of "Edge Of Glory" by Lady Gaga.
Fans cheered especially when they high five and do a twin tornado and finish
"Incredible!" One girl says as Randy winked causing her to faint.
Emma giggled.
"Amazing, am I right?! Next, make way for what you've been waiting for! Presenting Luke Huntington and Mrs. Chalice!" April says.
Fans were chanting and cheering for them as they came on stage. Luke smiles at Chalice as they begin their routine to "Dance Like Yo Daddy" by Meghan Trainor.
"I love you, Luke!" A fan says.
"Ahhhh! Chalice!" Another fan says as he faints.
Lucy was smiling, staying on Luke's side.
They soon finish as Chalice does a split. Men went wild for Chalice.
"That was amazing! Next, making their debut, Lisa Huntington and Beau Yates!" Gemma says.
Fans looked interested as the siblings were stunned.
The couple grinned as they started their routine to "Popular Song" by MIKA ft. Ariana Grande.
"What?!" Lori asked, then cheered. "That's my sister!"
"WE LOVE YOU, BEAU!" Belle and Bumper Jr. shouted from the front row.
Fans cheered wildly for them. Luke and Chalice can't resist dancing along to the song backstage.
The couple finished minutes later. The crowd went nuts for them.
"This duo sure sounds promising, and that was a spectacular performance!" Gemma says, pressing the platinum button for the first time this season.
"Coming up next is a duo you may be familiar with, your favorite pair of cups and mine, Cuphead and Mugman!" April says.
Fans cheered when they came out. They were dressed head to toe in 80's-style outfits, wielding keytars as they performed "The Look" by Roxette.
"You think I have a chance?" Lisa asked.
"Nope." Lucy says on Luke's side.
Lisa frowned, but Beau took a look at Lucy.
"Make my girl feel less confident about her chances, and you won't like what happens next." Beau says.
"Lisa can't beat Luke. Impossible." Lucy says.
"YOU ASKED FOR IT!" Beau screamed.
Lucy got ready with her magic book, but Charity took the book away.
"She's right." Luke says, agreeing with Lucy.
"You will give Lisa a chance. Or you will be off the show TONIGHT!" Charity says to Luke.
"Fine!" Luke says as he walks off.
Cuphead and Mugman soon finished as the fans gave them a standing ovation.
"Coming up next, straight out of this world, are heroes from a different dimension, Bella and Beth!" Gemma says as fans cheer.
"Let's see how our dimension rivals do." Jack says.
They perform "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)" by ABBA.
Fans cheer at this as they clap at their performance.
Luke and Chalice watched closely from backstage.
They spun and dabbed as Bella winked, triggering Alem tuber as the fans were kinda into the dimension rivalry.
"Coming up next is the champions from a few months ago Savannah and Tina Huntington!" April says as fans scream.
They come on stage, performing "Hot N Cold" by Katy Perry.
The fans tossed flowers as Tina caught one with her teeth as fans cheered as they soon finished.
"Coming up next is Sam Sharp and Luna Huntington!" Gemma says.
Meanwhile, the turtles were fighting the Triceratons, who wanted to invade New York.
Leonardo dodged lasers. Michaelangelo dodged a few as Raphael dove into one.
Meanwhile, Luna and Sam perform "All Star" by Smash Mouth. The crowd was loving it.
The girls finished to cheers and they wave as they run offstage.
Lisa was sitting alone.
"Lisa, you were incredible!" Leni says.
"Thanks." Lisa says.
"Listen, Mom says that Luke will be grounded if he tries anything. And she said the same for Lucy." Luan says to Lisa. "Mom already took her spellbooks away from her."
"And if they try to hurt you, Lis, I WILL deal with them." Beau says. "I didn't take those karate and taekwondo lessons for nothing, you know."
"Luke is going to win." Lucy says, hoping to cheer him up by boosting his confidence.
"Honestly, we gotta prove a point. We can work together and we haven't been eliminated yet." Angry Luigi says.
The siblings were heading to the hotel as the fight was wrapping up.
"See you next year or something" Michelangelo says.
"I hope not. Mikey, please don't jinx it…" Leonardo says.
"Hey, look on the bright side, we're just in time for dinner. After all, I've got the perfect plan for tomorrow." Raphael says
"Nah, let's take April to a history museum." Donatello said.
"I got it, dudes! we have the best people for this stuff!" Michelangelo says as they head to the sewers.
"Tomorrow…" Lucy says, wondering if she could help.
April sighs once the show goes off the air for the night.
"I hope Shredder doesn't show up this year." April says. "For once, I want a birthday where I don't get captured…"
"Hey, folks, you really think that will happen?" Raphael asked the 4th wall, ending the chapter.
