Luke woke up as all the siblings came in with his half-birthday breakfast buffet tray.
"Happy 20th and a half-birthday, Luke!" His siblings and the cup trio say with grins on their faces.
Luke was stunned by this, not knowing what to say. He then speaks.
"I…I thought you guys actually forgot…" Luke says, still surprised by the big breakfast in bed he just got.
"We will never forget you!" Lucy says.
Luke smiled a slight smile as he began to eat his breakfast.
After breakfast, the siblings begin to explain what today would be like.
"First gift, the World Golf tour invitation for next year." Lori says. "But today, we get to go to the Golf Museum. Bad news, it's for Fairway students only." Lori says.
Luke squealed with excitement and rushed off to get dressed.
Soon, they were on a bus to the museum.
With Lucy, she got the stuff for Luke's party and began decorating. But everything was the wrong theme as Luke had left his half-birthday theme idea with Lucy a week prior to today.
Haiku reminded Lucy as Lucy looked down upset.
"Let's see what he left for real." Haiku says, reading it.
It says he wanted a Mario Kart-themed party at the roller-skating rink. But he also wanted stuff about him there.
Lucy heads to the rink and puts up photos of Luke's band and his best memories.
"The band's anniversary is coming up…" Lucy thought.
She had Lana build a bunch of race tracks, then had racing balloons.
Lucy sniffed as she knew Luke would hate this party.
At the golf museum, Luke was exploring.
He sees the history of famous golfers and vintage golf gear. He's now in the vintage golf bag exhibit.
"Wow!" Luke says.
Tiger Woods came in. Luke gasped in shock.
"Oh, my God…" Luke says. "It's my golfing idol…"
Lisa looked on. Luke was stunned by this.
"I am your biggest fan!" Luke says.
Luke gets a picture with him and autographed gear from him as well.
With Lucy, she had set a lot up for the party, and all that was left was the three cakes Luke asked for.
"Where are the cakes?" Lucy says.
Luna shows her the melted cakes.
"What happened?!" Lucy asked.
"Lynn left them out too long…" Luna says.
Lucy uses a spell to restore them, then she checks on the food.
It was all of Luke's favorite foods, even pepperoni pizza.
With Luke, he was in the museum gift shop.
He thinks of what to buy. Chalice uses this as a chance to buy him a gift. Luke looked longingly at the sapphire blue golf bag once used by his golf idol. He sighed and looked at the golf balls instead.
Chalice goes to buy it for him.
Cuphead looks around.
"It's Luke!" A group of girls screamed as they all gave him happy half-birthday cards.
Luke smiled and thanked them, then signed some autographs for them.
Lucy put all the gifts together, then she checks on the music. Luna was warming up with her band and the skating rink DJ is going over the playlists on his laptop.
Luan was practicing her juggling.
"Mom, am I missing anything?" Lucy asked.
"Just the ice cream and the guest of honor." Charity says.
"Where is it?" Lucy asked.
"The ice cream actually has to be picked up from Mary Scooper's." Charity says.
Lucy heads to Mary Scooper's. The manager knows why Lucy is there and brings out the order of Blue Moon ice cream, along with individual pints of a few other flavors. Lucy takes the ice cream to the party.
"Now all we need is Luke." Charity says.
Luke hissed at a window display in the mall.
"What's the matter?" Lisa asked.
He pointed to a display with Savannah and Tina on it in the window of Claire's.
"So? You have lots of displays in Hollywood. Way more than them." Lisa says.
Luke then sees a display with Brandy and Randy at the Foot Locker store. He hissed louder.
"So? You have more display boards." Lisa says, showing a truck with a Luke display photo. Luke just looks at it.
"Pretty nice." Lisa says. But he knows all the teams have displays here at the mall, endorsing products. Except for him and Chalice.
Lisa shows him a bunch of Luke display photos, toys, and merchandise of him and a golf club set that looked pretty cool.
"Are you excited for your party?" Chalice asked. Luke just stares at her.
Soon, they left the mall as Lisa was instructed to bring Luke to his party. Lisa began to do so as they arrived at the skating rink.
Confetti fell on Luke. Everyone came out of their hiding spots, smiling at Luke.
"Happy 20th and a half birthday, Luke!" They all say.
Luke didn't know what to say about this. He was just staring at everyone. He stood there for 20 minutes, just looking around.
"Don't you like it?" Luna asked Luke.
"I knew it." Lucy sniffed.
"I think he likes it, kids. He's just…a little overwhelmed right now." Charity says.
"Why don't we watch you open your gifts?" Clyde suggested.
He looks at his gifts, then at everyone.
"It's okay." Lucy says.
Luke walks over to the gifts, not knowing where to sit or what to do now. Lola reveals his throne as Luke sits on it and just looks around, wondering what to do. He then looks at the gifts being placed before him.
Lola gives hers first. It was a shiny diamond crown. He puts it on.
Lana gave hers, which was a costume repair kit. He smiled a small smile at this.
"Here's mine." Chalice says. Luke opens it to reveal a Luke doll in a golf outfit. It even came with its own golf course play set. And she also got him the sapphire golf bag.
"I love it, Chally!" Luke says and kisses her.
He got a pirate novel from Mugman and a new golf hat from Cuphead. He grinned and hugged both of the cup brothers.
Leni gave him a blue sweater with silver and gold stars on it, Lisa gave him a gumball machine, Lily made him a painting of a golf course, Lynn got him new golf clubs, Luna got him a new drum set, Luan got him some of his favorite candy, Lincoln got him an Ace Savvy golf bag, Clyde got him some new Ace Savvy graphic novels, Beau got him a photography kit, Connor got him a new laptop (since his old one was destroyed), and Carol got him a gold star nameplate for his bedroom door. Many other gifts consisted of Broadway tickets, a gold watch, toys, an ice cream maker, a silver whistle, and other nice things.
"Thanks so much, everyone! These gifts sure are swell!" Luke says, smiling.
Lucy smiled.
After gifts, the entertainment begins with Luan's juggling, then she tells a few jokes that Luke finds funny. Luke laughed and clapped.
Lola did a show for Luke as Luke clapped for her. Then Chalice did a dance for Luke as Luke smiled at her.
"I am a classic!" Lola says.
Soon, Lucy reads a poem as Luke enjoys it.
He then goes roller skating with Chalice as the roller-skating rink DJ plays some music.
"Are you having fun?" Chalice asked.
Luke nodded. "For once, yes." Luke says.
They keep going for a while, then they go to get ICEEs and soft pretzel bites. They sit and share them, talking about the show and other things.
People were talking about Luke's upcoming movie and the show.
"See, Lucy, it's not a disaster." Lynn says.
Soon, it's time for the skating races. Luke was intrigued, so he entered. He smiled and laced up his skates.
They did skate races on the tracks Lana made. Luke won three of the four races.
After that, they played some skating rink games like four corners, freeze skate, roller tag, and shoot the duck. The set of games ended with a "skate" rendition of the Hokey Pokey, where everyone was joining in. That was Luke's favorite part.
Luke was actually having a great time with everyone, laughing and playing with them.
Lucy was nervous, not wanting anything to go wrong. She was on edge.
Connor brings out the piñata, which looks like a checkered flag. Luke smiled at this. Luke is soon handed a bat and he breaks the piñata open. He smiles as he sees all the candy and toys falling from it and he grabs his share of it.
He then goes out for some air to have his alone time, all while he eats some of his candy.
Lucy was having scary thoughts as everyone had either gone back to skating or they were getting refreshments.
Beau was sitting with Luke outside after a while.
"Hey, are you okay?" Beau asked Luke. "You know you can tell me anything."
Luke explains. Beau grabs his hands.
"I know you feel like they screwed up. But they haven't so far. Do you want to stay for pizza and dessert, then go to my place for the rest of the night? My siblings said it was okay for you to spend the night." Beau says. "We could do the sleepover stuff we used to do as kids." Beau then smiles at Luke.
Luke nods. "I would love to." He says.
Back inside the skating rink, Luke eats some of his favorite pizza. He ate 4 slices of pepperoni pizza and drank 3 cups of vanilla Coke.
Lucy shows a highlight reel about Luke, which makes him smile a little bigger.
Soon, it was cake time. But the three cakes looked awful. In design and presentation.
Lucy panicked and used magic to fix it, but she was mentally shattering. Luckily, Luke went to the bathroom. Lucy used that time to fix the cakes.
Luna was looking out for Luke as Lucy was fixing the cakes. Lucy soon finished. Luke was approaching the party area and fast.
Lucy puts everything together and even brings out the ice cream, then turns off the lights after everyone is in position.
"Huh?" Luke asked as he looked around. When he saw there wasn't anyone around, he just looked down and started crying, thinking the party's over.
The lights came on. "Surprise!" Everyone cheered. Luke sniffed and slowly looked up.
Everyone was there for him as there were 3 cakes. Lucy was praying that Luke liked it.
One said "Happy 20th and a half-birthday, Luke!"
Another cake said "You're Our Shining Star!"
The last cake said "We Love You, Luke! You Have A Bright Future!"
Luke was surprised by the three cakes and took pictures of them. Luke smiled as everyone started singing. Leni records this moment.
Chalice could see Luke struggling to hold the smile on his face as he was now forcing it.
"Make your wish, Luke!" Chalice says.
Luke thinks and wishes to be the most famous and important one in the world. He then blew out all his candles, smiling a real smile at the thought of that wish coming true.
Everyone cheered.
Lucy was hoping nothing would ruin this moment.
Luke packed up, getting ready to go with Beau for his half-birthday sleepover.
"Did you like it?" Lucy asked. Luke nodded as he cut some of each cake to take and eat at Beau's house.
After the party, Luke is at Beau's house for a sleepover.
Luke looks around and sees Beau had set up "Sleepover Cove" in his family's living room. Luke squeals as he remembers this.
Meanwhile, Amy needed help planning Sonic's birthday. She asked Chalice. But Chalice's face falls, realizing she and Luke were appearing on Great Day Houston that morning as guest hosts. They were also going to appear on The Corey Collins Show that afternoon to do a duet performance and an interview with Corey.
"Will the party be that night?" Chalice asked.
"On June 23rd, yeah, unless Eggman attacks." Amy says.
"Put me and Lukey down for a maybe." Chalice says. "It's going to depend on how long it takes us to come back from Houston and how long it'll take us on Corey's show. And whether we'll be up for a party or not. Lukey will more likely want to rest, but we'll see what he wants to do when the time comes."
With Luke, he was watching the Pitch Perfect movie trilogy with Beau, which is a movie series they grew up with. Beau was smiling as he brought the snacks, candy, and drinks. Luke was already in his Ace Savvy pajamas and smiling as he was enjoying himself.
"You have a busy few days, huh?" Beau asks Luke.
Luke nods. "Can you believe that me and Chalice are going to be guest hosts of Great Day Houston?!" Luke says, excited.
"Shut. Up! That's amazing!" Beau says.
"Honestly, I think I should stop spending time with my siblings. You guys are better than them." Luke says.
"You love some of your siblings, right?" Beau asked.
"Not sure, they change from good to evil for no reason." Luke says.
"Which ones do you love?" Beau asked.
Luke thinks."Leni is the only one who has never harmed me intentionally; she has autism just like me. Then there's Luna. And Lily. And Luan. They all love me and I love them. And I love Lori and Lisa, too." Luke says.
"What about the others?" Beau asked, eating a 3 Musketeers bar.
"Lincoln schemes a lot, Lola is a total diva at times, Lana is always finding ways to get dirty and brings too many strays home. Mom had to find other homes for them all at this point. Then there's Lynn. She is just too competitive and she hurts me." Luke says.
"What about Lucy?" Beau asked.
Luke thinks about how to answer that.
"At times, she's clingy. Then, at times she's desperate to have me around, always showering me with gifts. But she really loves me. I love the poems she writes for me." Luke says.
"Are you and Chalice ready for the Country Celebration show yet?" Beau asks Luke.
Luke nods.
