On August 5th, it was the Elemental Strike's anniversary.
The siblings came to Luke. "Happy second anniversary!" They say, holding his anniversary breakfast. A smile crossed Luke's face as he saw the cinnamon rolls, bacon, and scrambled eggs that Luan made for him.
"This looks delicious!" Luke says. "Thank you!"
Lisa goes to Beau. "Happy Anniversary, love!" she says, holding his anniversary breakfast. Beau stretched and yawned.
"Oh, breakfast in bed? How wonderful!" He says, seeing the sunny side-up eggs, bacon, hash browns, and mini chocolate chip pancakes. He kissed Lisa. "It all looks amazing, my love. Thank you."
He then starts to eat his breakfast, enjoying every bite.
Amy and Cream came to Chalice and the cups.
"Happy Anniversary!" Amy says to the cup trio.
"Thank you! Ooooh, pancakes!" The trio says as they dig into their breakfast.
Amy smiled at this. "It's nice to see them happy." Amy says.
The band later meets up at the mall for a meet and greet.
People loved seeing them and the band loved seeing their fans. This was just one of many events planned for their anniversary. Later, they would have a concert and a party, which they already knew about. Today, they will also record their Christmas album, which won't launch until after Thanksgiving. They also had three talk show appearances. And they would be launching their "#JusticeForTheHuntingtons" tour merchandise during all three talk show appearances.
They sign autographs and take pictures with their fans.
The triplets smirked and considered giving the cosmic buddies more trouble. The triplets had watched the news stories and laughed when the police nearly arrested them.
"Everyone, the cosmic menaces are going to be arrested by us!" Tristan says.
Some people cheered.
Luke goes to record the album with the band. They sang a good variety of holiday songs and Christmas carols, and soon, the album was finished. They then took pictures for the album cover and looked over them to find the perfect one to use.
Lucy was unsuree. Chalice looked at them all.
She chose the one with them making cute poses while they wore elf hats. Luke smiled at that one.
Mugman sees Trey putting a bounty on the cosmic buddies for a high price. The blue cup smirks before joining the group.
The siblings decorated for the anniversary party. The party wasn't much of a surprise since the band knew about it already.
"Tonight's party has to go well." Lori says.
"Right." Leni says.
"It isn't just Luke we have to keep an eye on. It's the whole band." Lisa says.
"That's hard, especially because we need to make more effort for Luke since he's paranoid of losing his spotlight." Lola says.
"The band has the spotlight today. Luke shares it with them." Luna says.
They soon finished decorating for the party.
"Ladies and gentlemen, bad news: the cosmic losers have escaped to other worlds, so we'll catch them soon enough." Troy says on the news.
Angry Luigi had set off on an adventure, running across a forest.
"Where am I?" Angry Luigi asks himself and sees a man trying to murder Snow White, but he drops his knife.
"Snow White, huh? This should be an easy adventure." Angry Luigi says
Meanwhile, the Elemental Strike had a concert to get ready for. Cuphead could see the smirk on Mugman's face.
"What?" Cuphead asked. Mugman showed Cuphead the poster he found.
"Oh, I want the reward!" Cuphead says as Mugman agrees. The whole band saw the poster as well.
"We're all gonna get them!" Luke says.
"We have a concert." Chalice says.
"After the concert, Chally." Luke says.
Soon, they got ready as people were excited to see them. They soon appeared on stage and performed for the fans. They even did an encore performance of their "Johnny B. Goode" performance from A Capitol Fourth.
People loved it. There was food at the concert as well. This was the first celebration that was planned.
Soon, the concert was coming to a close. There were posters of the Cosmic Buddies vs. Elemental Strike for sale as well as "#JusticeForTheHuntingtons" tour merchandise.
"Now do we find them?" Cuphead asked.
"We do. We only have 6 hours until our party. So we can't be gone for long." Luke says.
The group nods as they get ready.
"When is the next show?" Leni asked.
"ANH? On Lisa's birthday." Luke says as he readies his arsenal of magical weaponry.
"Damn, I usually work. But if I must, I'll perform…" Lisa says.
Meanwhile, the triplets arrived to see an evil witch about to fall, but Alem tuber saved her from death.
"Thanks." She says and tossed poison apples as Alem tuber dodged.
"Oh come on!" Alem tuber says, annoyed.
Grumpy growled as The 7 Dwarfs got ready.
"No, this is personal, we saved her life, now she wants us dead?" Emila asked.
The cosmic buddies rushed towards her but nearly got hit by golden beams.
"Oh, great, more rivals on this adventure!" Alem tuber says.
The band also arrived, Mugman wearing his Dirk Dangerous goggles and the group glaring menacingly.
"Hello, Cosmic buddies." Luke says.
Angry Luigi froze.
"Goodbye! Run for it!" Savannah says.
The cosmic buddies rushed off. The band went after them. The triplets record.
An hour later the cosmic buddies sees Wlem, Wandy, and the evil queen tying up Prince Charming and Snow White.
"Hey, Wlem and Wandy." Alem tuber says with a smirk.
Wlem and Wandy glared as Angry Luigi stomped on Wandy. Wlem tried to punch Alem tuber, who dodged and kicked him as Savannah frees Prince Charming and Snow White.
"That's a wrap for this adventure." Bill says.
But they weren't alone. They turned around.
"Oh, right…" Alex says.
"We beat them once." Delta says as Angry Luigi was shivering.
But this time, the band was going to beat them down. And beat them hard.
Alem tuber gets annoyed and shoots an energy blast at the band.
"NOT ON OUR ANNIVERSARY…AND NOT EVER AGAIN! THIS ENDS NOW!" The five of them yell from the top of a nearby castle. "LET THE COSMIC HUNT COMMENCE!"
"Is that the Queen's castle?" Savannah asked. Emila opened a portal as the cosmic buddies leaped in. Chrissy had to drag Delta in the portal.
The cosmic buddies arrived on a ship.
"Captain Hook?" Chrissy asked as he and the pirates glared.
"I hate water…" Delta says as pirates tried to attack them, but Emila used magic sending them flying.
She opens a portal as they leap in, arriving at Emila's swamp.
"We made it! I'm going to miss those dwarfs." Savannah sighed.
"Grumpy was my favorite." Alem tuber says.
"I liked Bashful." Emma says.
"At least we're done with danger and all that stuff." Angry Luigi says.
The band came back to Earth, looking defeated and very tired.
"We lost. Again." Chalice says sadly.
"Actually, they just ran from us." Cuphead says.
"Some anniversary this turned out to be." Beau says.
"We have a party to get to." Mugman says.
"That's in 4 hours." Cuphead says.
The band sat in Luke's room and moped around.
"I'm heading home" Bill says as the Cosmic buddies split up.
The triplets smirk as they arrive at Savannah's house and shoot a golden beam at her, turning her into gold.
"Okay, let's get the rest." Troy says.
Bill was working on stuff as he sees the triplets and got annoyed as he used a net on them, trapping them.
"Let us go, villain!" Troy says.
"Weren't you the ones who wanted to steal a magic lamp?" Bill asked.
A bunch of "Anti-Cosmic Buddies" people try to attack Bill, who locked his lab.
"Noisy and rude…" Bill says as they were trying to break his metal door.
Meanwhile, Delta kicked some of the haters, sending them down.
"Yeesh…" Chrissy says.
"Awwww, no more?" Delta asked as Cuphead tried to attack, but Delta dodged.
"Good." She smiled devilishly.
With the band, tears filled their eyes.
"Some anniversary." Chalice says.
"You said it." Mugman says.
"What's wrong?" Leni asked.
"We want to be alone right now." Luke says.
"Okay." Leni says.
Delta spin dashed into Cuphead, using super speed as Cuphead was cracked.
"Sorry, but you asked for it." Delta says. Luke came out and dragged Cuphead away before going back to his room.
Later, it was time for the party.
"We're losers." Luke says.
"Yeah, for sure." Chalice says.
"Cuppy got hurt!" Mugman sobbed.
Lucy was writing poems, not paying attention to the crying and misery around her.
"We aren't winners…" Beau says.
"I'm going again!" Cuphead says, getting greedy. Mugman smacks his brother.
"NO!" Mugman shouts.
"What? We gotta beat them, everyone's counting on us. Plus they just ran from us. The fight never really started. Can you call that a loss?" Cuphead asked.
"Well, no…" Mugman says.
"So, what you're saying is, we have a chance?" Luke asked.
"Yeah, we can win!" Cuphead says.
The siblings and friends were waiting for them. The band made an epic entrance.
"Elemental Strike roll call!" Luke says. "I'm Luke! They tell me I shine brighter than all the stars in the whole galaxy!"
"I'm Chalice!" Chalice says. "They say I can really crank up the charm!"
"I'm Cuphead!" Cuphead says. "I'm just a cupful of mischief!"
"I'm Mugman! I live on the edge!" Mugman says.
"I'm Beau! I'm number one in stealin' hearts!" Beau says.
Lucy looked nervous. The rest of the band looked at her.
"I'm Lucy and I-I…" Lucy forgets what to say.
The start of the party ends up being delayed because of Lucy's stage fright.
Lucy teared up, wanting to be alone, knowing she possibly ruined it for Luke and the band.
"We worked on this for months!" Luke sobbed.
"Why do we even have her in our band?" Mugman asked.
"Take. That. BACK!" Cuphead shouted.
"We should kick her out. It's obvious that she doesn't fit in." Chalice says.
Luke then feels horrible.
"Are you okay?" Leni asked as Luna was worried.
"We're sorry, everyone. We know that you spent so much time putting this together for us, but…" Luke says.
"What?" Leni asked.
"You can try again." Luna says.
Lucy sniffed and nodded.
Lori set the stage with Lynn and Lana as Luke came on.
"Elemental Strike roll call!" Luke says. "I'm Luke! They tell me I shine brighter than all the stars in the whole galaxy!"
"I'm Chalice!" Chalice says. "They say I can really crank up the charm!"
"I'm Cuphead!" Cuphead says. "I'm just a cupful of mischief!"
"I'm Mugman! I live on the edge!" Mugman says.
"I'm Beau! I'm number one in stealin' hearts!" Beau says.
"I'm Lucy, the darkest goth of all." Lucy says.
Luke smiles. "We're The Elemental Strike, here to rock your ever-lovin world!" He says as the band strikes their signature poses.
Everyone cheers wildly for the band.
Soon, the party began with gifts.
Haiku got Lucy a new coffin.
Luke opens Charity's gift to reveal a spa basket with gift certificates to the new spa in town. Lucy opens Charity's gift to reveal a journal. Lucy smiled a bit.
Beau opened his mom's gift to reveal a nice guitar in a monogrammed case. Beau smiles as Lisa gave him a card in Korean and Mandarin, and it included gift cards to his favorite stores. He kissed Lisa.
Cuphead and Mugman open their gifts from Luke. Cuphead got new comics and Mugman got books, especially the new Cala maria novel.
Lucy reads Luke a poem she wrote while he was crying tears of joy.
As the party progressed, the band took pictures with the fans and guests.
There were snacks and food and videos of the band's best songs. Tonight, the new music video they recorded for "Let Me Entertain You" would be shown.
No one could match up to their fame. Tonight was their night and no one would take that.
Lola later gave them a show doing spins and ribbon dances. They were impressed.
Luan told some jokes, then they began to dance. Luke danced with Chalice, Cuphead danced with Lucy, Mugman danced with Margo, and Beau danced with Lisa.
Beau then knelt before Lisa, smiling and holding a Kay Jewelers ring box.
Lisa was stunned as Beau began to speak.
"Lisa Huntington, a girl like you comes around once in a lifetime. I knew that when I first saw you in that science class in middle school and when you were doing experiments that wowed the crowd, I knew that you were my one and only. I love you more than all the elements on the periodic table and we make beautiful chemistry together. I want to ask you…will you marry me, Lisa?" Beau says, holding out the golden ring with five diamonds on it.
"Yes!" Lisa says. Everyone cheered for their engagement.
Beau puts the ring on Lisa's left hand and smiles as he kisses her while whispering "I'm going to rock your world later." Lisa blushed and smiled.
Soon, the video was shown to everyone and they were loving it.
Soon a bunch of piñatas were brought out. The band didn't know what to say.
Cuphead goes first, grinning as he breaks it open.
Luke hits another, sending the candy spilling out everywhere.
Mugman went, then Beau, and then Chalice.
Lucy used her shovel, cutting her piñata and smiling.
As everyone soon ate, Luke began to hiss at his siblings.
Luna was playing music, Leni was combing her hair, Lana was feeding Hops while Lori was taking selfies with Lola and Lily. Lisa had to leave early for some science stuff. Sal was playing cards with Lonnie.
Luan goes to get the cakes. Luke had walked out at that point.
"Luke?" Lucy asked, somehow appearing in front of him "What's wrong?" She asked.
Luke had seen the cakes. And there was a small mistake. They misspelled Lucy's name wrong and the other cakes were fine. But there was also no cake for Luke.
"Luke, I told Luan to hide yours so nothing bad could happen to it. There is a cake for you. I just hate people ruining it. Now come on, the cakes won't eat themselves." Lucy says as Luke sniffed.
They came back in as the lights were off.
They lit up to reveal 6 cakes Luke's was the biggest. But he got upset because he wasn't appreciated as the bandleader. He looked away as everyone else saw their cakes.
"Luke, what's wrong?" Lucy asked.
"No one appreciates me." Luke says.
"We do!" Chalice says.
"Yeah, there's a reason why yours is the biggest!" Cuphead says.
"We all baked it for you!" Mugman says
It said "To our leader, the best star in the world, Luke Huntington!"
Luke sniffed. "You guys…" he says.
Lucy lit the candles as everyone began to sing to them, especially Luke. Luke was lost in thought.
They soon think of wishes. Lucy wished for Luke's birthday week to be perfect and blew out her candles.
Cuphead wishes to win ANH and blows his out. Same as Mugman.
Beau wished to win ANH as well.
Chalice tried to think of one. She wished for Luke to be happier.
Luke wished for everyone to make him feel special.
After the cake, Beau thinks of what to do for Lisa's birthday.
